This work intends to discuss about the current happenings in oil sector, and how the recent discovery of huge oil reserves on the layer known as Pre-Sal can positively transform in the socioeconomic context, the country. The impact of this huge quantity of natural resources it depends on the legislative policies adopted for the exploration and production (E & P) in the Pre-Salt layer, and the way in which laws are imposed for distribution of such resources. Therefore, it is made a shortly background of the laws from oil exploration, production and distribution, since the monopoly of Petrobras, to nowadays. To this end, an analysis is performed about the Oil Law, and about the possible legislative changes with the new Regulatory Framework. This monograph attempts to prove, based on historical data, socioeconomic facts, and international experiences, using either comparative statistical, that with the discovery in the Pre-Salt area, the best way to optimize the use of these resources, mainly the reduction of social inequality and economic contrasts, a legacy from colonization, would directly those recipes to a National Development Fund, the Social Fund, established by law for the new Regulatory Framework

The Measurement System Analysis (MSA - Measurement System Analysis) is a statistical methodology developed to study and analyze the behavior of the measurement systems, and, therefore, allow the increased of the confidence readings performed by measuring instruments. It’s widely used in the automotive industry since the 90’s and is a mandatory requirement for the approval of the parts according to ISO Standard of the automotive sector. However, the aerospace industry doesn’t require this type of Study, once which the vast majority of aeronautics parts have characteristics (dimensions) with very tight tolerances, closed, ie, at the home of microns. This work aims to create lists of recommendations for definitions of measuring instruments in developing of control plans, which correlates tolerances fields of characteristics for different settings and acceptance of the instrument, classified as optimum, recommended and not recommended, through of the study of R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) in aeronautics parts. Every methodology of the experimental part was based on modern strategy of continuous improvement, the DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Implant Control), in order to achieve better measurement method used in the control of milling aeronautics parts, identifying and reducing the variations of the measurement process. The results of the R&R Study in large part of measuring instrument manuals were considered acceptable and/or recommended, ie with values of %P/T and %RR lower than 30%, providing statistical data which have enabled the elaboration of tables of recommendations, which, from this work, have turned into very important documents and aid for Process Engineering, having in their hands a technical study able to identify which is the most appropriate instrument to get a more robust dimensional... The presented text aims to evaluate the causes that led to the formation of the current agrarian structure in Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay as well as the characteristics of the agro-export model that takes place in these countries, which is based on production and export of soybeans. Because of its contemporary importance and represent the bulk of agricultural production in the countries under study, is established the objective of identifying the particularities and commonalities between these soybean production, with regard to its production structure and the benefits and impacts generated by this. Finally, statistical historical data are presented, enabling this comparison, showing the development and crucial moments for the establishment of the current standard

Burns are frequent accidents, and they are among the major causes of morbidity and mortality in our society. In Brazil, statistical data on such lesions are relatively scarce, and they are concentrated in a few treatment centers. Data on such accidents allow for specific care to be timely and properly taken in order to provide patients with a better prognosis, in addition to enabling the development of prevention programs as well as fire-prevention safety laws. To characterize the epidemiological profile of users at the Burn Treatment Unit of Bauru State Hospital. Collection of epidemiological data through the e-pront system and from charts of burned inpatients from April 2005 to April 2010. During the studied period, 906 hospitalizations of burned patients occurred, with an annual average of 181.2 individuals. Their mean age was 28.4 years, with a predominance of males. The mean hospitalization period was of 27.6 days, with a median of 16 days and a maximum of 216 days; 14.7% developed to death, with the highest mortality rate in the first two weeks of hospitalization. Second-degree burns were the most frequent; 36.8% of the patients burned less than 10% of their body surface, and there was a gradual frequency reduction when a larger burned surface was taken into account; the greater the affected areas, the higher the number of deaths; 91% resulted from thermal agents, 6% from electric and 2% from chemical agents; scalding was the major cause among all agents, followed by alcohol associated with fire and direct flame. The major area affected areas were the upper limbs. The study shows the need for educational and preventive measures, particularly for the young adult population, by means of educational programs and prevention campaigns

The sugarcane agribusiness has expanded by Brazil in recent years, especially with government incentives, which funded the construction and expansion of distilleries and sugar mills and alcohol throughout the national territory, as well as the expansion of the cultivation of sugarcane sugar. The state of São Paulo is the main focus of expansion in the sector, and its municipalities impacted significantly. The Pontal do Paranapanema is one of the last frontiers of cane sugar in the state, so that the culture has brought transformations mainly from 2003. Thus, we take the case of the municipality of Martinópolis analysis, which investigated some transformations in economic dynamics from 2004, the year he began the deployment of Plant Athena. For this, we conducted interviews with several subjects and analyzed statistical data from IBGE, LUPA, MAPA and CANASAT. Aware that these changes are limited to the capitalist market economy, we analyze the benefits and disadvantages brought by the activity of the plant for the population as part of economic growth characteristic of this scenario, taking it to the very prospect of local subjects. Alongside this growth, all other forms of inequality and exploitation of surplus value also grow which is not understood or perceived by residents. Hence the need to confront views and discourses on development promoted by the alcohol sector

The increasing rate of traffic accidents, followed by the high rate of mortality due to these occurrences, favored to the classification of traffic accidents as a public health problem in Brazil. These accidents consume a significant portion of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), especially related to the victims. Considering this scenery with many tragedies and resources being spent only in the end, this paper seeks to examine the influence of federal highways lighting by reducing the number of accidents. Federal Highways sections that received lighting were taken up for study, therefore a survey of statistical data has been raised considering the accidents before and after the route had been illuminated. Taking advantage of the results obtained, an economic analysis has been made considering the amounts consumed by traffic accidents versus the values required for the installation of lighting on highways
