This work is initially based in give a solution to a problem consisting of lifting a load in a warehouse focusing specifically on the solution´s project and comparison of the results obtained following the sequence of the book and comparing these results with the finite elements simulation based on the 3D components modeling. Starting from that was realized the project of the worm gear reducer to solve the problem and makes the work easier. The project consisted basically of the study, project itself and simulation by software of a worm gear reducer and projects steps, starting with the initial problem conditions (to lifting a load up to an specific height at a given time) following all the reducer project sequence, starting by the preliminary draft and electric motor selection using iterative process, material selection, worm gear dimensioning, axles, keyways, bearings and coupling. After that was performed the three dimensional modeling of the components using SolidWorks software and simulating these components using Ansys software. The results show the importance of the CAD in terms of improving project development speed and reducing costs with prototypes

Estudo da modificação do ângulo do conjunto cilindro-pistão em motores de combustão interna

The aim of this study is to present those who are interested in mechanical engineering, specifically automotive engineering some ideas for improvements to the current concept of internal combustion engines. It is not intenden to change totally the design of the engine known today, but to exame the feasibility of reducing a small waste generated with the current positioning of the cylinder-piston assembly. The proposal solution consists in modifying the tilt cylinder-piston assembly in the angle between the rod and the cylinder axis. This inclination causes all the force generated in the combustion process within the cylinder is delivered to the rod.Delivery force is the made in the rod longitudinal direction and not on the axis of the cylinder, preventing the occurrence of a breakdown of the force generated in the combustion process. After analyzing the idea of repositioning the piston-cylinder assemble, it is concluded that the change has a positive result in the process of harnessing the power generated in the com bustion, but its not feasible due implementation to low gain presented in this study

Uma atividade de educação em saúde para puérperas num alojamento conjunto

The Rooming favors the permanence of the mother with the newborn, thus establishing a stronger link between the mother and baby, in addition, care assistance and guidance are essential to both through the health care team because they recognize the moments critical that their interventions are necessary to ensure the health of both. The educational lecture was an option to have the opportunity to assist, guide and answer possible questions that may arise for mothers, and also to assess the knowledge of puéperas regarding the care of babies and self care. There was participation from 40 patients. In the study methodology was developed a questionnaire containing two subjects (self-care and care for newborns) was given to patients before and after the lecture held by the author in a rooming Maternity HC de Botucatu. The results were analyzed statistically and studied by the author, allowing note that many significant results were obtained after the lecture, which we realize that the same intervention on self-care was significant in respect of: bleeding, infection in the genital tract and urinary tract, surgical dehiscence , care of the lower limbs and constipation, how to care for the newborn was the significance to the questions about the hygiene of the umbilical stump, cramps, hunger, weeping and pacifiers. In the pre-lecture questions 73.00% of 27.00% were right and wrong. Our conclusion is that the mothers have a high level of prior knowledge and educational lectures enriches their knowledge in a creative and participatory

Tendo em vista a falta de espaços com infraestrutura apropriada para abrigar as atividades acadêmicas relacionadas ao curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” – F.C.T Presidente Prudente - SP, este trabalho propõe a construção de um conjunto de equipamentos com o objetivo de criar uma solução espacial que atenda, a partir das suas formas e funções, as necessidades dos seus usuários, propiciando a convivência dos mesmos e a integração com a sociedade. O conjunto será implantado dentro do campus da FCT Presidente Prudente, e a proposta vai ao encontro com o conceito de revitalização da área escolhida através da integração da mesma com o restante do campus. O objeto em questão trata-se de um conjunto formado por salas de aula, ateliers de arquitetura, atelier plástico, espaços de exposições, auditório, laboratórios, salas de pesquisa e salas dotadas de infraestrutura básica, aptas a receber os mais variados tipos de atividades. A pretensão do projeto é prover espaços adequados ao ensino e aprendizagem das matérias de arquitetura e urbanismo, mas ao mesmo tempo beneficiar todos os cursos do campus e sem deixar de considerar o potencial de expansão de cursos da FCT-Unesp

Espaço fábrica: intervenção em conjunto de antiga indústria de óleos em Bariri - SP

Discussões a respeito de propostas de intervenção em espaços ur-banos que possuem valores culturais para a comunidade têm sido um tema bastante explorado por arquitetos e urbanistas contemporâneos. Muitos são os teóricos que se ocuparam do assunto – as primeiras teorias de restaura-ção do patrimônio arquitetônico construído datam do século 18 – mas, até hoje, não se pôde estabelecer um consenso sobre como se deve ou não proceder na concepção de projetos dessa natureza. Este trabalho trata de um espaço ocioso na área central do municí-pio de Bariri, interior do estado de São Paulo, onde se deram as atividades de uma indústria de óleos vegetais de grande expressão na cidade, entre as décadas de 1960 a 1980. Mesmo depois de a fábrica ter entrado em proces-so de falência, seus equipamentos e edificações permaneceram no terreno, e, até hoje, parte considerável de seu patrimônio construído ainda continua lá. Porém, nunca se deu outro uso para o espaço, sendo que, atualmente, as instalações se encontram em processo de ruína. Sabe-se que áreas desocu-padas inseridas na malha urbana podem levar a uma degradação do espaço, devido à falta do cuidado mantido pela presença humana, causando, diversas vezes, a perda do controle pelo poder público, e incidentes provocados pela falta de segurança. A Indústria Resegue de Óleos Vegetais (IROV) teve considerável importância histórica para o município, sendo um dos maiores símbolos da atividade econômica dos imigrantes sírios na cidade. Foi responsável pelo emprego de muitos trabalhadores e por grande movimentação financeira na época em que esteve em funcionamento. Além disso, seu espaço físico im-ponente está presente no cognitivo da maioria dos habitantes baririenses, compondo, de maneira significativa, a identidade visual de Bariri. The present project consists in an exploratory research centralized on the main patterns of the database of treaties registered by the Secretariat of the United Nations due to its obligations stated at Article 102 of the organization?s Charter. More specifically its purpose is to adapt and apply computer visualization tools to this database. The visualization tools developed here aim the exploration, discovery and communication of relevant features to International Relations research. These tools allow the manipulation of selected variables in the database, such as dates, participant actors and treaties subject. The visual representations furthermore facilitate the analysis of several dimensions of subsets chosen by the user, such as qualitative, temporal and geographic distribution. These proceedings help bring hidden patterns to the surface. The discussion about the limits of these tools has also a central place on this research. We listed and analyzed the characteristics and steps which could have a relevant impact on the final result

Prova estética e funcional: uma decisão em conjunto

An important phase of rehabilitation treatment, is the aesthetic and functional testing, performed with the patient. Its relevance is because at this time it’s possible to have a very faithful preview of the final result of the prosthesis, but, if necessary, still allow changes. Therefore, the objective of this review is to describe didactically the clinical steps and factors that should be examined by the dentist at the moment of aesthetic and functional testing of a complete denture. This clinical stage basically involves four requirements to be analyzed: mechanical, functional, aesthetic and phonetic. After the jointly analysis with all the requirements, the patient must approve, preferably in writing, the completion of the prosthesis. In case of need for any changes, this is when it should be performed, followed by new aesthetic and functional testing. It should be noted that the patient’s opinion is always sovereign in deciding to end the denture.

Aportes teóricos e metodológicos para a constituição de um grupo de planejamento conjunto com docentes da licenciatura em física

We present in this paper parts of the results of a research that had the intention to promote a space of communicative interaction among teachers of an undergraduate Course of Physics Teaching so they could plan their courses together. From the theoretical recommendations of the Theory of Communicative Action , by Jürgen Habermas , it was possible to draw a way of rationality crisis in training degree in physics in Brazil and then propose the creation of a Joint Planning Group (JPG) with teachers of specific nature disciplines of physics and disciplines about physics teaching. They start a joint discussion about the relationship among the disciplines in delivering of a project for future high school teachers' training. All meetings developed over a school year in the GPC were recorded, transcribed and analyzed with a part of a methodological analysis feature of the intersubjective interactions. This methodology was developed specifically for the research. The conclusions are related to the joint constructions developed by the JPG, its local contexts and the possibility of extension of this group. The joint constructions undertaken in the group point to the defense of the formation of JPG in the formation of the professors who teach these courses.
