Information access law and disclosing of information by joint-stock companies in Brazil: open data and Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) standard

The strategic management of information plays a fundamental role in the organizational management process since the decision-making process depend on the need for survival in a highly competitive market. Companies are constantly concerned about information transparency and good practices of corporate governance (CG) which, in turn, directs relations between the controlling power of the company and investors. In this context, this article presents the relationship between the disclosing of information of joint-stock companies by means of using XBRL, the open data model adopted by the Brazilian government, a model that boosted the publication of Information Access Law (Lei de Acesso à Informação), nº 12,527 of 18 November 2011. Information access should be permeated by a mediation policy in order to subsidize the knowledge construction and decision-making of investors. The XBRL is the main model for the publishing of financial information. The use of XBRL by means of new semantic standard created for Linked Data, strengthens the information dissemination, as well as creates analysis mechanisms and cross-referencing of data with different open databases available on the Internet, providing added value to the data/information accessed by civil society.

A importância do conhecimento e da inovação na região metropolitana de Campinas-SP: o caso do condomínio empresarial Praça Capital

The present work is to analyze the importance of exchanging knowledge and technological innovation in Business Condominium Square Capital installed in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas (SP). The condominium corporate Capital Square is the new result of the productive rearrangements that allow the reproduction of capital. This new production space, endowed with infrastructure and sophisticated logistics is able to enable the development of companies installed there in addition to promoting the advancement of technological innovation in the region because of its relations with laboratories, universities and research centers. The research aims to contribute to the understanding of this new form of organization of space activities corresponding to the logic of exchange of knowledge and technological innovation. The logical location of innovation services have similar aspects to economic activities in general, which is distinguished due to the intangible nature of services of high added value through the strategic role of information, the nature of services and because there are services whose logic operation is beyond the economic, but also scientific. Bovine meat exerts an important contribution to the human diet, mainly by its high biological value. For this reason the productivity and the quality of beef are so discussed. Productivity is defined as the ratio between production and the factors of production used and quality defined as an adjective given to the product that suits the consumer implicit and explicit. Brazil is the world leader in tonnage exported bovine meat, however the country has a relatively low income, since no exports to the markets of greater added value. Influência da luz LED na cultura celular de Mieloma múltiplo murino–NS1 in vitro

A monoclonal antibody (mAb) is an important tool in medical biotechnology and the production of biopharmaceuticals, especially for disease diagnosis and treatment of infections, because the antibodies have a significant advantage over chemical agents used in conventional therapies . The last thirty years the technology of production of monoclonal antibodies developed mainly the technique of obtaining in vitro, but also of their production is laborious, the cost is high. A major element of the high cost of production is the fact that the long-term culture consumes a large amount of imported inputs with high added value. A major contribution of this work is to promote cell growth more quickly and efficiently. Currently, a great race to discover new technologies and techniques to synthesize new antibodies and significantly increase the production of murine mAbs. New technologies such as laser and LED are innovations and widespread in modern life, so much so that its use has proliferated worldwide, primarily in the medical field. Recent studies show a series of results from the influence of the LED light in biological tissues such as: increasing the rate of cell proliferation, increased production rate of fibroblasts, increasing the rate of synthesis of RNA and DNA synthesis of ATP, etc. To assess the contribution of the LED in the culture of Myeloma NS1murino compared to the standard procedure. - NS1 cells were provided and followed the criteria of culture medium of the Laboratory of Cellular Engineering Center of Botucatu (POPs). The same amount of cells was grown in bottles of 25 cm2 polystyrene Tissue Culture Treated, specifically marked and kept in special medium RPMI 1640 Gibco BRL  supplemented with fetal bovine serum 10%, essential amino acids and non-essential, glucose, insulin and antibiotics. Procedimentos para análise de lucratividade de produtos no setor de autopeças metálicas

In a globalized world, organizations face an increasingly dynamic, innovative and competitive environment, so that this condition requires continuous adaptation to market developments. Intense competition requires organizations to further improve their performance, making productive efficiency a key factor for survival. A methodology that has added value to the product through a reconfiguration of the production method is the implementation of a management philosophy called Lean Six Sigma. The main objective of this work is, in the light of the Lean Six Sigma philosophy, intervene in a critical-collaborative way to develop procedures for analyzing the profitability of products in a company specializing in steel processing. To achieve this goal, were applied the method of action-research to intervene in a group of professionals for the study of the profitability of products in a auto parts industry. The interaction of practical and theoretical knowledge provided by the action-research allowed the business program was enhanced. The procedures proposed in this study were able to identify the current profitability of the product, the main causes of inefficiency and productive for solutions to reduce production inefficiencies, when the productive systems planned and actual production system were compared. The results indicate that current profitability of -3%, while the parameter provided during budget was 10%. Thus, it is concluded that the low profitability of the products may compromise the company's financial results and affect their competitiveness in the market. To address this problem, the Lean Six Sigma presents itself as a versatile and high applicability philosophy, providing relevant results for characterization and troubleshooting. It was also observed that the evidence presented in this paper can be adapted to other companies in the metal auto parts segment to identify and recover the profitability of products

This paper seeks to show which impacts there are of the combined use of different modal for the coffee’s outflow. Nowadays is used, almost exclusively, the roadway to transport. How-ever, for this product with low added value, the types of transports best suited, in the litera-ture, are the railway and waterway. For this, is describe the development and spread of coffee throughout Brazil. Subsequently, is calculate the current cost of transporting two producing regions (Minas Gerais and Rondônia), using for that information about the freight, the social cost, and the level of losses along the way. After that is projected costs if utilizes the multi-modal model, when considering the same cost parameters used for the current model. Here-after, an analysis is made of the obtained cost, speed, consistency, capacity, availability and frequency of each transport model. The development of such activities was through strong planning policies and stringent regulatory institutions. Singapore economy has evolved from a trading post to a major financial center worldwide. Shows high rates of GDP per capita, which is $ 50,000 in 2011. This country has the world's busiest port for container handling. Given the competitive reality of the globalized market, companies are compelled to develop strategic aspects of the management process, in order to ensure their survival. Among the strategic aspects is the price formation process, whose reasoning occurs mainly of adoption through cost system. Knowledge of costs and expenses provides conditions for the company to position itself strategically in the market, being able to follow the price of competition and sometimes even surpass them, called, more and more attention with regard to price formation. This study aims to identify the best price to be transferred to the market. To this end, were approached concept of pricing and its components, their strategies and pricing objectives, as well as the influence of demand on price formation, as well as the added value the brand and quality; and even a careful analysis of the price established by the said company in the service offered. We used the method of literature review and case study in the company ESA international aeronautical industry.
