O trabalho pretende discutir alguns pontos necessários para traçar um perfil sóciocuttural do caminhoneiro: a) procurando defini-lo como profissional, através dos nomes que lhe são atribuídos; b) traçando alguns aspectos das relações sociais na estrada, a partir da perspectiva do caminhoneiro, e c) discutindo aspectos de seu misticismo e das relações de sua família com a atividade profissional.

Este livro está dividido em quatro seções. Na primeira, que trata da Sexualidade e Corporeidade, os temas apresentados abordam o conceito de corporeidade, gênero e a busca por serviços de saúde, a imagem corporal em mulheres com depressão e a política de redução de danos em situações de sexualidade e vulnerabilidade. Na segunda seção, Intercorrências no desenvolvimento infantil, os temas se referem ao desenvolvimento infantil, abordando os efeitos do chumbo e da escolaridade, as habilidades sociais de crianças com irmão com transtorno de espectro autístico ou com desenvolvimento típico, e a ocorrência de estresse e bullying em crianças em condição de sobrepeso e obesidade. A terceira seção, intitulada Adolescentes: maternidade, fatores de risco e de proteção aborda o tema da gravidez e maternidade da adolescência, as interações familiares de mães adolescentes e os fatores de risco e de proteção em adolescentes com transtorno mental. In this work, we analyze a measurement system that will be implanted in a wheels production line, in order to use those wheels for buses and trucks. The measurement device has to be approved according to the MSA study, due to the fact that the mentioned industry is an automobilistic supplier, so that it has to be conform with the ISO/TS 16949 standards. We showed the MSA studies, as well as some concepts for the work understanding. The airlock wheels systematic production is also broached, that is to say, wheels that use airlock tyres, with a better attention given to the rim production, where the device must be implanted. We analyze and assess the data’s acceptance according to the guidelines showed in this study, along with this, improvement proposals are elaborated and their analysis is made, in order to check the obtained results. Finally, we survey the analyzed measurement system, and new studies are suggested, with the intention of improving it

This study aims to analyze the intermunicipal collective transportation in The State of São Paulo, according to the relation of lines per permittee company of June/2002 and June/2012. We worked on the suburban and road bus lines. After analyzing the data, we seek to know how was the evolution of these lines in the State of São Paulo, the regions in which these lines were more developed and the groups that monopolize increasingly the intermunicipal collective transportation. It was made a list of some variables that enabled a comparison with the road system and we also showed the considerable increase of the suburban lines, which became more common as time goes by to compete against the clandestine transportation

A cidade de Presidente Prudente conta com um pequeno mercado público de difícil acesso e poucos usuários, em um espaço que surgiu como um local provisório. Após 20 anos o edifício se encontra no mesmo lugar para a insatisfação dos comerciantes e usuários. O trabalho propõe a criação de um novo mercado público próximo ao Centro Cultural Matarazzo e IBC, criando um eixo cultural para a cidade, na região da linha férrea. O novo edifício integra com o antigo silo das Indústrias Anderson Clayton, cria praças com parque infantil, academia da terceira idade, teatro arena, ponto de ônibus, mesas e bancos. O projeto se fundamenta em metodologias visando criar espaços públicos bem sucedidos, ressaltados pelos benefícios dos mercados públicos na atualidade. Carnival is a unique opportunity for the associations demonstrate the community’s annual work and the float is a major component of this celebration, responsible for pitch the samba using allegories and carry important figures. The excess weight of the floats which are mostly manufactured from truck and bus structures requires larger amount of people to push the vehicle in addition to increased efforts on the steering systems, suspension and wheels, raising the probability of breakage and loss of one year work. This paper analyzes the accessibility of the elderly population in relation to urban transportation in the city of Rio Claro - SP. After a study of the physiology, infrastructure, history and legislation of the city, there were collected and analyzed data obtained through semi-structured interviews with the elderly population that makes use of public transport with the aim of identifying the user's profile as well as their impressions and criticism of the service. The Department of Transport and Urban Mobility of Rio Claro provided general information related to public transport in the city. After all the survey, it can be seen that, although a significant portion of the elderly population make use of public transport, there are problems related to the structure of the city, which hinders the movement of buses, and the accessibility of the elderly, caused by physical characteristics of the vehicles, attitude of the motorists and aspects of public administration of the town. These data support the conclusion that there is often a disregard for the rights of the elderly and that it not only should as it can be corrected

Although the regular practice of physical exercise for the maintenance of the nutritional state and quality of life is important, it is not a common habit among the elderly, especially those of the lower income social bracket. The objective was to characterize and compare according to social-economic conditions and anthropometric indexes of the nutritional state of the elderly who regularly practice and those who do not practice exercises, offered at no cost, in the Northern zone of São José do Rio Preto-SP. In this study, 110 elderly women participated, of which 60 (group P) exercised regularly and 50 did not (group NP). Group P participated in a special gym program, free of charge, for at least 2 years, 2 to 3 times a week, one hour a day. Group NP was recruited from the same location as Group P. The comparison between the groups of elderly women was proportionately distributed according to marital status, level of education, means of locomotion, results of body mass index (IMC), waist to hip ratio (RCQ) and calf circumference, using the chi-square test. Comparisons were also made of average age, per capita family income, individual income, IMC, arm and triceps skin fold measured by t-Test. Differences were not found in all the comparisons made. The variables that stood out were the IMC (overweight) and RCQ (risk of chronic diseases) results, which were above what was expected, and the high frequency of walking and riding buses for both groups of elderly women (about 60%). We came to the conclusion that the low-intensity exercise program evaluated made no difference in the nutritional profile of the elderly who also used walking as a means of getting around.

Introduces technical, economic and environmentally competitive solutions in the energy market is a great challenge for society. This work examines each of these aspects considering the production of electrolytic hydrogen with energy from wind power, solar and hydropower, in order to ensure an overview of this energy carrier. Initially, an assessment of the technical aspects is made addressing existing electrolysers technologies, its main characteristics and differences. The geographical distribution of wind, solar and hydroelectric potential in Brazil is also mapped, and a configuration scheme of a hydrogen production system is discussed. Subsequently, the economic analysis calculates the cost of investment in the alkaline electrolyser of 60 Nm³ / h, similar to the Brazilian bus powered by hydrogen project, coordinated by EMTU. Since the main input of electrolysis is electricity, is analyzed the latest energy auctions of each primary source and it is calculated the cost of production of the wind, solar and hydropower hydrogen. Postponed to this, are investigated the intrinsic environmental impacts of electricity generation process, proposing a readjustment of an indicator of ecological efficiency for the production of hydrogen. Finally, the work discusses the concept of externalities and demonstrates how the incorporation of external costs can leverage the hydrogen economy. In short, it is evident that the wind and hydroelectric hydrogens are more promising compared to solar hydrogen, whether in the economic aspect, because it achieved lower costs, whether in the environmental aspect, because it reached the highest ecological efficiency
