The present work develops a residential automation system controlled by PIC microcontroller connected to a domestic network using the TCP/IP protocol. This was motivated by the viability of building an automation system to control basic elements of a house with low cost, which cannot be found nowadays. Initially is presented a brief history of the automation systems and an introduction about PIC microcontrollers. Afterwards is presented an overview of the system to be implemented. Then it is shown a suggested circuit and the sensor and actuator elements as well as the software to manage the system, this was all build and test in the laboratory. In the end are the results obtained from the prototype, like the energy consumption, the cost, efficiency and reliability

This paper presents a design and construct the system of data acquisition with wireless transmission of some important parameters like motor temperature, motor rotation and velocity of Unesp Racing´s formula car prototype from Universidade Estadual Paulista, Campus Guaratinguetá. This system development presents a contribution for the electrical technical features adding important points in the competition due car´s electric, in addition, enables preventive maintenance and fine adjustment of the car with the data obtained during training and racing

Este trabalho apresenta o uso de energia solar, para o aquecimento de água, através da análise de aquecedores solares industrial e os construídos com garrafas PET com canos condutores de água de cobre, alumínio e PVC, instalados no Centro de Energias Renováveis - CER, do Campus de Engenharia Guaratinguetá. A análise foi realizada com a ajuda de sensores Termopar, software - Contemp View Simple, para obtenção de dados, software Teamviewer para acesso remoto. Sendo feitas as medições concluiu-se qual é o aquecedor mais eficiente a ser utilizado, sempre tendo como objetivo o aproveitamento da energia renovável usando a radiação solar

From the last decade of the twentieth century, the rapid growth of nanotechnology has resulted in the discovery of a number of forms of nanoparticles and nanoclusters. We can cite as an example: nanotubes, nanowires, nanobelts, and nanoconesnanoclusters which have a wide range of applications, particularly as catalysts magnetic material nanodevices, chemical sensors, degradation of toxic chemicals, or even as possible carriers for the isotope medical applications.. The first step is the production and characterization of nanowires multithreaded using different types of metals (nickel, silver, gold) and polymers (pyrrole), which are prepared by electrochemical deposition process. Will be held by the characterization of the same images of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM)
