Comunicação no terceiro setor: novos paradigmas para transformação social

This study is the result of a bibliographical research on the performance of the Third Sector in the current society. From references the study tried to locate the sprouting of the Third Sector in the international scene, whit the bankruptcy of welfare state, until its insertion in the Brazilian scene. Following this historical context, the paper of Communitarian Communication, Social Marketing and Communitarian Public Relations is discussed the importance of the communication of this Sector. Moreover, it has the effort of making one brief conceptualization and definition of the present terms. Working whit the concepts of Communitarian Communication and Communitarian Public Relations the study tried to focus the importance of creating a bond whit the development of a new educational model. Finally, the relation and the paper of the Communication in the construction of a new conception of citizenship was discussed. The hypothesis that crossed this study with respect to the potentialities of the Third Sector are considered an answer to the current social economic and political questions. Confiding, thus, a dynamic and stimulating field for the professional of Public Relations that, opposing what some studies had tries to show, are not necessarily the service of the market or private interests, but can collaborate whit its expertise to help to rescues the ethical values capable to change the life into a more solidary society

Cenografia teatral: uma análise dos aspectos cênicos da peça Bê-a-Bá Brasil - memória, sonho e fantasia

The main objective of this project step is the evolution of scenery matter on the occidental theater media, related to space and technical possibilities of the theatrical building and space on history of contemporary arts. The main point is that scenery must communicate with a specific matter. Something in touch with the plot speeches. Something that makes all the plot elements to communicate. Acting has an specific message to deliver, and that message is what really matter to the viewer of the show. “It’s never late to state that scenery is not a decoration, or just an interior composition. Scenery is not a painting or a sculpture: it’s an integrated art form. Urbanização de favelas: da espontaneidade à cidade formal

O presente Trabalho Final de Graduação analisou projetos de urbanização de favelas em paralelo com algumas urbanizações feitas nos tecido das cidades medievais que também possuem um traçado inicial de origem espontânea. A partir dessa análise, a pesquisa teve como objetivo a busca de experiências técnicas e de gestão, a partir de bases bibliográficas e visitas em campo, nesses locais de diferentes contextos e, a partir disso, discutir soluções urbanísticas que foram bem‐resolvidas ou dificuldades encontradas nas intervenções. A metodologia empregada para a análise baseou‐se na revisão bibliográfica através das bibliotecas da Universidade Estadual Paulista, da Universidade de São Paulo e do Centro de Documentação da Câmara Municipal de Évora, além do acesso a bibliotecas digitais, como a Base Dedalus da Universidade de São Paulo, a Biblioteca Digital da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, a BAE da Universidade Estadual de Campinas, a Minerva da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a BU da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, BIB da Universidade de Évora e a Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. Os resultados que foram obtidos buscaram responder perguntas como: quais as questões interessantes a se considerar a partir da análise do projeto – técnicas e de gestão? No caso das favelas, quando houve a remoção, isso foi feito por motivos técnicos pertinentes? E a questão da acessibilidade diante de casos de uma ocupação em encostas com acessos perpendiculares às curvas de nível? Como tornar o local acessível a todos? Isso já foi alguma vez pensado e solucionado? Quais as situações que devem ser observadas para se determinar se deverá ter ou não uma realocação das famílias? A partir dessa avaliação buscou‐se criar, ainda que minimamente, subsídios teóricos para novos projetos de urbanização e entender a efetiva importância sociológica na construção do “habitat humano”

Morfologia urbana na animação

The production and concept of the animation process adds not only technical aspects to it, but also the huge amount of detail and study of every single reference used to create that said animation. From costumes and fashion to urban morphology, those researches are needed for the creation of a final product that has a truth feeling to it, making the viewer feel like part of it and receive not only a literal aspect, but a conceptual feel from the project. Photos, maps, technical studies and much more are tools of trade when dealing with the animation process. The animators have to give attention to every single detail in order to make the production feel alive for the viewers, making the animations flow in a charming way. To analyse the inverse way of the animation process – from the final product to the sketch studies of the base reality from which it was based at- is a good way to comprehend the research line of the animators, and that’s the main focus of this project

O fantástico em Coraline: uma análise semiótica

The English writer Neil Gaiman has a varied background in various genres of literature and comics. His novel Coraline (2002) was considered a bestseller and received numerous adaptations, including versions for the comics (U.S., 2008, illustrated by P. Craig Russelle) and for a musical off Broadway (USA, 2009). The object of analysis chosen for this research was the adaptation of Coraline for film, Coraline (U.S., 2009), stop motion animation directed by Henry Selick. In the eyes of the general public the film stands out for being an engaging animation. Under a closer look, Coraline becomes a valuable object of study that incorporated the technique of stop motion at the same time that modernized the fantastic genre, usually directed to children and youth, but in that case, reaches many audiences. The objective of this research is to analyze the animation based on theory of origin greimasian, focusing on the narrative that constitutes the fantastic genre in order to infer the regularities of genrer and the specificities of audiovisual product

Dança: biologia e comunicação no processo de socialização humana

A importância da dança e das artes no geral para a espécie humana é evidenciada pela sua marcante presença em todas as sociedades, primitivas ou civilizadas, aparecendo na maioria de suas atividades.A dança faz parte do mundo da comunicação não verbal, expressando, transmitindo muitas informações e apresentando-se com diferentes significados, geralmente associados à comunicação e à interação entre indivíduos. Como movimento ordenado e rítmico,a dança pode ter por base nossas manifestações biológicas, podendo ser considerada como um evento inato e hereditário.Nesse contexto, apresentou-se uma revisão bibliográficaque trata da dança sob uma perspectiva biológica e evolutiva,caracterizando-a nos processos de comunicação e socialização humana. O panorama traçado baseou-se em diferentes áreas de estudo, tentando organizar as ideias e proposições de diferentes autores a respeito deste tema, ainda não tão discutido e nem tão difundido na literatura. Foram consultadas diferentes áreas, em especial a Etologia e a Psicologia Evolucionista, que fazem uma abordagem evolutiva de aspectos da natureza humana.Não foi possível encontrar na literatura uma definição única de dança que a contemplasse da maneira com a qual se gostaria de trabalhar nesta pesquisa.Por isso, foi proposta uma conceituação para as discussões posteriores, tratando a dança sob os seguintes aspectos: comportamento onipresente nos grupos humanos, desde tempos bastante remotos;comportamento significativo para os grupos que a apresentam, sob diferentes aspectos;comportamento que necessita de especialização e desenvolvimento cognitivo para sua realização; comportamento atrelado à sensação de prazer; comportamento que representa um processo de comunicação altamente complexo e especializado; comportamentoritmado, que possa ser tratado num complexo de musicalidade, que envolva a dança... Estudo da presença e importância atribuída aos animais nos artigos apresentados nos anais do Encontro Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental (EPEA)

Together with the increase of environmental degradation in the past few decades, the environmental education (EE) has emerged and grown all around the world. It is worrying the frequent assigning of stereotypes to the animals and the cases of disrespect to them. For these matters it was studied the presence and importance attributed to animals in the annals of six editions of an event of great significance in the field of Environmental Education, the meetings Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental (EPEAs). The animals were chosen for deserving more attention in the preservationist context, besides allowing the use of a great extent of activities in EE, regarding scholar and non-scholar organizations. The articles that presented descriptors related to animals in the title, keywords or abstract were analyzed in depth and characteristics such as segmentation of the studied population, locations where jobs tend to be performed, prevailing aspects and didactic material production, among others, were investigated and compared. It was also verified which current trends on Environmental Education currents are more frequently presented in the EPEAs articles, in order to map the Environmental Education in Brazil in the past few years, using as a basis an important theoretical framework in the area. Through the use of descriptors it was possible to define the articles that would be analyzed in depth, which is less than 6% of the total work published and represents that, until the sixth edition, the EPEAs have a minor amount of works concerning animal matters. In many of these articles animals were superficially worked, which demonstrates the necessity of approaches not only involving more the animals, but also addressing the complex environmental matter. This academic report presents results of the research developed between 2012 and 2015, and it had as main goal the development of new mapping possibilities of the central areas of the cities of Marília/SP, São Carlos/SP and São José do Rio Preto/SP. We developed this research using mostly the database from Cadastro Nacional de Endereços Para Fins Estatísticos (CNEFE), and after processing the information, it was added the typology established in the Cadastro Nacional de Atividades Econômicas (CNAE). This database, after the final treatment process, provided us information that made possible the production of thematic maps which are used to study central areas, allowing the analysis of spatial logics of companies, the identification of concentration and dispersion of economic activities, arrangement of specialized axis, expansion of the central area, reorganization of the city, among other process and phenomena

Mediação como base de estratégias pedagógicas voltadas a alunos com deficiência mental severa: indicadores para a prática docente

The paper talks about the education of persons with disabilities severe mental retardation based on the idea of Reuven Feuerstein mediation. The collected data were analysed mainly under the focus quantitative, allowing extraction of details of everyday life investigated. Aims to describe and analyze the implementation process their educational, focusing on teaching strategies used by Special Education teachers in the Araraquara’s city. In addition, seeks to address the educational process of a population slightly investigated by uniting two strands of thread in an innovative way: the Theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability (SCM) and Reuven Feuerstein education of students with severe cognitive impairment. The methodology initiated by the establishment of the teacher’s profile, their mapping and location. Data collection was achieved through three instruments: interviews with teachers, observation protocol and field diary for registration. Our results describe the work of a teacher, showing their practice, and enlist the pedagogical strategies used, mainly those related to the criteria medication. According to the Theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability (SCM) and the idea of Mediated Learning Experience (MLE), the teacher acts as mediator, interposing themselves between stimuli the environment and the student. This shows it is possible to associate the ideas of Feuerstein practices aimed at teaching students with severe mental disabilities.

Análise do crescimento das empresas de base tecnológica no Brasil

Technology-Based Firms (TBFs) are companies with intensive innovation dynamics based on technical competences, and for which high growth rates are expected. Nevertheless, even in developed countries, the evidence suggests that significantly high growth rates are more the exception than the rule. In Brazil, most studies on TBFs focus on factors that limit their success, such as managerial experience and capital availability. Based on extensive field research and on a reliable enterprise growth rate indicator, this article aims to evaluate the expansion of those firms, analyzing its relation to key elements such as degree of consolidation, market insertion, and public policy support. We found a growth rate which, although widely varied amongst firms, was significant and was not directly related to the amount of public policy support.
