Política de Saúde em Comunidade Indígena na Metrópole Paulista

A existência de índios em cidades como São Paulo, Campo Grande, Manaus, Belém, dentre outras, cada vez se torna mais evidente, com implicações que provocam dificuldades sociais, econômicas, saúde dentre outros agravantes. Em função desta realidade, os órgãos públicos envolvidos na Política Nacional Indígena do Brasil reconhecem esta população como índios urbanos. É o que ocorre com as comunidades existentes na região metropolitana de São Paulo. Reconhece-se a existência de quatro aldeias indígenas, três delas é Tupi-Guarani e a outra é da etnia Pankararu. O presente trabalho surgiu da discussão das dificuldades de sobrevivência das comunidades indígenas da região metropolitana de São Paulo e da resolução de seus problemas de saúde. Para esta reflexão, foi preciso inserir o tema numa análise mais ampla da Política Nacional de Saúde Indígena como parte integrante da Política Nacional de Saúde brasileira. A partir dos questionamentos tecidos e discutidos temos como objetivo principal a saúde coletiva da população indígena no traçar de seu perfil epidemiológico e demográfico e a caracterização de sua vivência cotidiana e condição de saúde do índio urbano. Tomamos como procedimento metodológico o uso de fontes orais, uma que é capaz de traduzir com uma maior confiabilidade o cotidiano dos indivíduos e de sua comunidade... Método para reconhecimento de íris baseado na sua região interna

Recognition of individuals through the characteristics of the iris has in recent years become a well accepted technique due to both the high reliability of this procedure and the its non invasiveness. The methods used in such procedures seek information all over the iris, which depending on the algorithm used may result in high computational costs. Considering that most characteristics of the iris are in its inner region the goal of this work is to develop an algorithm for the recognition of individuals using only this region. To bring the outcome of our approach to the level of the best techniques described in the literature this technique has to be further elaborated, even so the results show a promising technique.

Sistema de automação residencial controlado via rede doméstica

The present work develops a residential automation system controlled by PIC microcontroller connected to a domestic network using the TCP/IP protocol. This was motivated by the viability of building an automation system to control basic elements of a house with low cost, which cannot be found nowadays. Initially is presented a brief history of the automation systems and an introduction about PIC microcontrollers. Afterwards is presented an overview of the system to be implemented. Then it is shown a suggested circuit and the sensor and actuator elements as well as the software to manage the system, this was all build and test in the laboratory. In the end are the results obtained from the prototype, like the energy consumption, the cost, efficiency and reliability

In modern days is not practicable to link productivity and profitability without discuss the manufactured products quality. It is of great importance, mainly if the company is looking for a Global Class title, both the product and the process in what it is been fabricated, to attend all the high level quality requirements. This work aims to define the necessary steps for implementing a new project, including the initial viability studies, and then the staff approval, passing through the development of tools and documents necessary to its fabrication, purchasing goods and services to build the installation, and the final stage of implementation, focused on the manufacturing process quality. It will be highlighted a quality tool that helps do decrease the process risks and thereafter increase its reliability after the implementation

Elementos de manutenção de transformadores de potência

The intended purpose of this paper is to present the main commissioning tests for power transformers and the most used techniques in industrial segment, it is also discussed your results and consequences in the equipment’s normal operation. Also in this text, it is given specific information concerning a maintenance plan compatible to power transformers, with elements of preventive and predictive maintenance, exposing essential components, tests and the regulations current, showing how analyze and interpreted the results from this maintenance resources. Also in this paper is submitted the economic impact of damage to transformers and how the correct maintenance method can minimize them. The objective of this text is demonstrate the importance of the equipment and the benefits of proper maintenance, much of in financial terms as in electric system reliability

Estudo sobre uma turbina a gás instalada em uma refinaria de petróleo

The gas turbine (GT) is known to have: low cost of capital over the amount of energy, high flexibility, high reliability, short delivery time, commissioning and commercial operation at the beginning and quick departure. The gas turbine is also recognized for its superior environmental performance, manifested in air pollution containment and reducing greenhouse gases (Mahi, 1994). Gas turbines in simple cycle mode (SC) have long been used by utilities to limited power generation peak. In addition, manufacturing facilities use gas turbines for power generation units on site, often in combination with the process of heat production, such as hot water and steam process. In recent years, the performance of industrial gas turbines has been improved due to significant investments in research and development, in terms of fuel to electricity conversion efficiency, plant capacity, availability and reliability. The greater availability of energy resources such as natural gas (NG), the significant reduction of capital costs and the introduction of advanced cycles, have also been a success factor for the increased use of gas turbines to load applications base (Poulikas, 2004). Open Cycle Gas Turbine with a greater degree of heat to the atmosphere may alternatively be used to produce additional electricity using a steam cycle, or to compose a cogeneration process. The combined cycle (CC) uses the heat from the gas turbine exhaust gas to increase the power output and increase the overall efficiency of more than 50% second (Najjar, 2001). The initial discovery of these cycles in the commercial power generation market was possible due to the development of the gas turbine. Only from the 1970s that gas turbine inlet temperature and therefore the exhaust gas temperature was sufficiently high to allow a better efficiency in the combined cycle ... Análise da qualidade de energia elétrica proveniente de uma planta solar fotovoltaica conectada à rede de distribuição de energia

Ce document présente l'analyse de la qualité de l'énergie dans une centrale solaire photovoltaïque - avec une capacité installée de 1 MWpico, relié au réseau de distribution d’électricité en 11,9 kV, qui a comme but connaître et également de comparer à la norme nationale actuelle, les effets de la qualité de l'énergie électrique résultant de l'utilisation de cette type matrice génératrice. Le rapport a été basé sur des niveaux spécifiés dans le module 8 des Procédures de distribution d'électricité dans le réseau national d'électricité - PRODIST, qui précise les directrices sur la question de la qualité de l'énergie électrique sur le territoire brésilien. Il a été considéré aussi les recommandations internationales 929 et 1547, qui proposent des pratiques recommandées concernant des systèmes de génération de l'énergie solaire PV (photovoltaïque), et également des normes pour le raccordement de ces types de sources au réseau de distributions d'électricité, tous deux établis par l'Institut des ingénieurs électriciens et électroniciens, largement connu comme IEEE. Le développement et le travail sur le terrain a eu lieu de manière continué, et non dans des moments spécifiques, assurant de cette manière, la fiabilité des données obtenues

The identification by radio frequency is very widespread today for ensuring both agility in handling records data, the reliability of their identification systems, which are increasingly advanced and less susceptible to fraud. Attached to this technology, the use of the database is always very important for the storage of information collected, the area where the MySQL platform is widely used. Using the open source Arduino platform for programming and manipulation of RFID module and LabVIEW software for the union of all these technologies and to develop a user-friendly interface, you can create a highly reliable access control and agility places a high turnover of people. This project aims to prove the advantages of using all these technologies working together, thus improving a flawed system effectively safety, cheaper and quicker
