CurtaBauru: site jornalístico especializado em cultura e arte na cidade de Bauru

CurtaBauru (www.curtabauru.com.br) is a journalistc website which specializes on the covering of local art and culture. The idea came up from the three author's interest in Bauru's cultural scene and also from the scarcity of local media about the subject. The website was opened in the end of August 2012, and its archives include journalistic covering of some major events such as Revirada Cultural 2012, Festival Canja de Artes Integradas and Encontro de Academias de Letras e Entidades Afins. Besides that, the website is updated daily with articles about coming up events, and includes weekly sections about people and organizations related to the city's artistic scene, restaurant criticism and an agenda containing the main events of the following week

Informatização na educação em saúde: avaliação de site educacional

Health education presently experiences the incorporation of information technology, thus making access to information more practical and attainable. The initiatives to make health care scientific content available virtually have shown to be useful for teaching, health care professionals and the general population. A website, however, must be constantly managed. To promote the dissemination of the website at www.educacaoemsaude.fmb.unesp.br among faculty members and undergraduate nursing students and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) - ETE, by evaluating, among them, its graphic and functional aspects and seeking suggestions for its improvement. This is a descriptive quantitative study for which the participants were asked to fill out an instrument designed for the study. The evaluation was performed among nursing faculty members and students at Univ Estadual Paulista Júlio Mesquita Filho – UNESP and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) – ETEC in the city of Botucatu. The number of participants totaled 88 individuals, of whom 23 were undergraduate students, 62 were students at ETEC, and 3 were faculty members. Eighty-one were females, and 7 were males. The participants’ age ranged from 17 to 56 years. Among the items that evaluated the website, the answers prevailed from “very good” to “good”. When the participants were asked what they had thought about the website, the answers were mostly positive, and the most frequently description given was “interesting”. Among the facilities, the most frequently reported was “easily understood content”, and as regards difficulties, handling the website was the most often mentioned. Educação e trabalho: as políticas públicas e as articulações das ações de qualificação e geração de emprego para a juventude

This paper analyzes the transformations in Brazilian society, especially in relations between the fields of work, education and youth. The implementation of a new logic in the process of capital accumulation, changes meant to hit the job market, causing new social issues, especially for youth, which can be translated by rising unemployment and new job settings, thus, have sparked a broad debate around the requirements that the market imposes on that intend to engage in it, relations skills, knowledge and ability to enter the labor market of the population, reissuing the discussion on social inequalities that required the field of alternative public policies to address this situation of exclusion. Turning to the reflection on the process of qualification / training and placing young people in employment relationships, this study aims to address and reflect on educational policies aimed at the inclusion ofyouth in the labor market, as well as analyze the actions of generating jobs and skills for young people between 18 and 29 years to do so, we will examine the National Youth Inclusion Program- PROJOVEM - sponsored by the Federal Governrnent, which aims to expand the service to the youngsters excluded from school and vocational training, allowing young people to be reintegrated into the educational process, receiving social skills training

Financiamento e convênios na educação infantil: uma análise a partir de periódicos nacionais

This study is bound to the “Research and Studies in Educational Policies”, GREPPE (interinstitutional group) – Rio Claro Section, more accurately to the Research Project entitled Evaluating the scientific production about financing and agreements in childhood education, coordinate by Prof. Dr. Regiane Helena Bertagna, that has as main objective to survey of scientific production at the national level related to the theme of financing and agreements in childhood education in the period from 2000 to 2010. This research has as objective to analyze the financing of childhood education examinee issues of educational policies related to this aspect in this stage of the basic education in national journals. It is intended to ascertain the discussion held in the articles about childhood education financing highlighting the strategies used by the government to offer treatment to the childhood education by means of agreements, or even, by means of public-private partnerships. For the development of this research will be conducted a survey and data analysis from journals of the “Coordination of Improvement of Senior Staff” (CAPES) classified as A2 in the evaluation of 2008. Saúde mental do idoso: percepções relacionadas com o envelhecimento em interface com o atendimento de saúde na atenção básica

Worldwide, growth is seen in the elderly population, which has prompted the use oftechnologies of care that include all stages of life and for that use, it is necessary toprepare professionals to meet this growing demand population. This work aims to understand how old people feel by their condition and identify how old people perceive this treatment in the Family Health Unit. The research is characterized asqualitative and Minayo second analysis was used Bardin. After, thematicinterviews, it was possible to appreciate the topics: Good, dissatisfaction through the life and likes / dislikes of the service unit. This work can be seen that the elderlywho were well, allied to good living with this family, with spouses, autonomy, respect they encounter in society. And when compared with those who have a complaint, we find that lack of family and age restrictions and diseases are the main complaints

A contribuição de Lima Barreto para o entendimento da crítica educacional brasileira do início do século XX

This study aims at enhancing the understanding of the educational criticism in the beginning of the twentieth century, focusing on the ideas of Lima Barreto. Before the emergence of the "educational professionals", educational thought was developed by publicists and writers involved in a fertile debate, the results of which became visible in literary and journalistic production. Through the analysis of articles, short texts published in the press, novels and short stories written by Lima Barreto, it’s possible to gather a specific concept of education, underlying his criticism and fictional characterization of school education, as well as an interesting sketch of the cultural profile of Brazilian society at the time. Either explicitly or implicitly, in their evaluative and theoretical references, the limits of the critical readings of the author, which are expressed in the contradiction between negation of the given conditions and their affirmation, unveil the historical aspects of social and educational thinking and criticism.

A política educacional do PT na Prefeitura Municipal de São Paulo (1989-1992): formulação e institucionalização

It was investigated how the conceptions of PT for the educational area defended in national meetings of the party have configured as policies in the City Hall of São Paulo during 1989-1992. It was made an analysis of official documents and measures adopted by the Municipal Education Secretariat. Then, it could be concluded that the priorities of implementation of the PT proposal entitled popular public school were based on four categories: Democratization of Management; New Quality of Teaching; Movement of Adult and Youth Literacy (MOVA) and Democratization Access.

Atendimento à norma NBR 12.209/2011 na implantação de uma Estação de Tratamento de Esgotos no município de Guaratinguetá (SP)

The progressive growth of the population and the increase of sewage generated has demanded of society and public policies that, besides the collection network deployment is carried out the treatment and proper disposal of treated sewage in all brazilian municipalities. The aim of this study was to monitor and evaluate the work of implementation of a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Guaratinguetá city of São Paulo state, to identify the compliance with legal requirements and the NBR 12,209/2011. The construction of this ETE met all the requirements of NBR 12209/2011 and benefited a large portion of population with the sewage treatment. Based on the results of this assessment it was concluded that the construction of a STP is relatively simple, differing only on the legal requirements related to the location, area for the construction and materials used in the work. The knowledge generated in this study will assist the public policies in the implementation of STPs in municipalities that do not yet have this basic sanitation
