Atividades investigativas: o impacto na capacidade de argumentação em alunos do ensino médio sobre eletroquímica

The education research guidelines have shown the important contribution of the investigations that focus on analysis of the discursive dimension of teaching and learning of Science in actual classroom. An interesting proposal to analyze the effectiveness of an educational activity is to assess the potential of investigative activities in the development of argumentation in science classes. Several studies have taken into account the use of argument in the classroom as a way to provide students with new ways to know the science. Argument refers to the process of associating components that play a central role in the construction of explanations, models and theories. In order to investigate the potential of these activities took place the application of investigative activities with third-year high school students, recorded in audio and video, focusing on the development of the argument. The search, conducted ranks as a qualitative research with characteristics of a case study. The arguments collected during the activities contained the students' conceptions about the concepts discussed and all were recorded in audio and video. With the encouragement of the argument by the investigative activity we evaluate the learning experienced by the speech of students. It may be noted that students have appropriated the concept of oxidation involving electron transfer, thus the activity reached the goal, so that was planned, making it effective for the introduction of electrochemical concepts

Ensino de lutas e educação física escolar: o caso do currículo de educação física do estado de São Paulo

O atual cenário do ensino da Educação Física no Brasil caracteriza-se como um complexo campo de conflitos, no qual emergem e embrenham-se diferentes proposições teórico-metodológicas, originadas desde meados da década de 1980 no processo histórico de emancipação, superação e ressignificação da Educação Física. Tais concepções, em contraposição ao criticado e tradicional ensino técnico-esportivista, propõe que na escola os conteúdos abordados deveriam propiciar a apropriação crítica e autônoma das diversas manifestações da Cultura de Movimento. Sendo assim, cabe analisar como os professores, autores e não meros aplicadores, lidam com mudanças curriculares. É primordial analisar criticamente as práticas pedagógicas dos professores que vivenciam e implementam tais mudanças curriculares. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar como se caracteriza a relação saberes docentes-ensino de lutas entre professores da rede pública estadual de São Paulo, no cenário de implementação do currículo oficial de Educação Física. Foi realizado um estudo de natureza qualitativa; os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas com professores e professoras atuantes na rede pública. Os resultados evidenciaram que o déficit na formação inicial dos professores, contribuiu para o trato pedagógico superficial do conteúdo lutas em suas aulas. Com isso, dificultando o desenvolvimento do conhecimento pedagógico do conteúdo dos docentes, que atribuem sua principal fonte de conhecimentos sobre o tema a recortes oriundos da influência midiática e da proposição de atividades a partir do Currículo de Educação Física do Estado de São Paulo. Investigando concepções e propondo ações formativas para a natureza da ciência

Apresenta os resultados de uma investigação que explorou as percepções de alunos de Ensino Médio de uma escola pública de um município do interior paulista quanto à natureza da ciência. A partir desse diagnóstico, que revelou distorções, foi elaborado um minicurso que tem como base a história da atomística, a partir da qual se faz emergir as concepções da História e Filosofia da Ciência. O minicurso explora, ainda, uma abordagem situações envolvendo questões éticas na ciência. Pretende-se, a partir desse minicurso, fornecer contribuições que favoreçam a clarificação das distorções, estimulando o pensamento crítico para questões pertinentes a temas envolvendo as relações entre ciência, tecnologia, sociedade e ambiente.

Concepções da equipe escolar sobre a gestão escolar e a escola inclusiva

Inclusive education is a proposal in which all people are accepted and recognized by their individual characteristics. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the concept of inclusive education and its relation within the democratic management on the early childhood education. Participated in these study educators of two schools in a municipal system school, the data were collected by means of interviews and were analyzed using qualitative approach. The survey results suggest that is necessary that the management team is informed and understands the importance of articulating different social segments that can assist special needs of students with disabilities in their needs, promoting thus its development.

O ensino de Português Língua Estrangeira no contexto virtual do Teletandem: aspectos linguístico-discursivos

The project Teletandem, linked to the Centro de Línguas e Desenvolvimento de Professores UNESP/Assis, promotes the interaction between undergraduates students in Languages and undergraduates students from foreign universities in order to promote the teaching of Portuguese for those who do not speak Portuguese and give an opportunity to Brazilian students to learn a foreign language. Therefore there is a different context that can result in new forms of statements produced in this specific area of human activity. The present paper aims to present a description of Teletandem sessions as a discursive gender according to the gender theory, showing the multiplicity of discursive genders that emerge during an interaction. We also intend to verify the levels of Critical Language Awareness among Brazilian participants according to the Critical Discourse Analysis.

O ensino de informática para crianças: um estímulo à aprendizagem

The use of computers in childhood education makes it possible for them to acquire knowledge in a fun way through games. This paper describes the experience of implementing the course “Computers for Children”, which is part of a University Extension Program at the School of Dentistry at UNESP - Araraquara. This course is offered to children aged 5-7 years old and it aims, not only, to offer children, via computer, a direct contact with new teaching technologies, but also, to help them develop both their motor and logical thinking abilities through educational games. The children that participated in this course are from the Children’s Center “Casinha de Abelha” at the UNESP -Araraquara and also from the Municipal Recreation and Educational Centers also in Araraquara, SP, Brazil. The software resources used in this course to teach computer skills are the educational games “Coelho Sabido Maternal”, “A Estrela Cintilante” and “Festa dos Dentinhos”. The children’s learning and the level of difficulty in using the computer as a tool were evaluated. It was possible to conclude that the course has been contributing to the digital inclusion of children aged 5-7 years old, in addition to training their visual and audio perception, their motor coordination and memorization, hence developing skills that are essential to the children’s literacy process.

Elaboração de um curso interativo voltado ao aprendizado de um sistema aplicativo em Odontologia, utilizando a plataforma Moodle

In universities, in any type of faculty or research institute, it is possible to observe innumerable informatics applications: database management, organization of catalogues, expediting diagnoses and many other applications. Within this context, distance learning could facilitate the learning of various professions. Distance education is the process of teaching-learning and the professional has to be prepared to deal with the new tools that are made available, using them to his/her benefit, and consequently in his/her professional capacity, to guarantee greater productivity and interaction with the various spheres in the work field. Methods: The aim of this research is to develop a course on the use of the Dentistry software application EasyDental, using the teaching at a distance methodology by means of the Moodle platform. The proposed course was composed of 14 modules, in order to enable a progressive and a rational learning. Conclusion: It could be concluded that this platform allowed the preparation of the proposed distance course, in a practical and versatile manner, considering the resources and activities it has. However, to use this platform, one must have dominion of the basic concepts of informatics, and the tools of the Moodle platform.
