Contribuições na modelagem dinâmica e no controle neural de um braço robótico com elos flexíveis

Em geral, estruturas espaciais e manipuladores robóticos leves têm uma característica similar e inerente que é a flexibilidade. Esta característica torna a dinâmica do sistema muito mais complexa e com maiores dificuldades para a análise de estabilidade e controle. Então, braços robóticos bastantes leves, com velocidade elevada e potencia limitada devem considerar o controle de vibração causada pela flexibilidade. Por este motivo, uma estratégia de controle é desejada não somente para o controle do modo rígido mas também que seja capaz de controlar os modos de vibração do braço robótico flexível. Também, redes neurais artificiais (RNA) são identificadas como uma subespecialidade de inteligência artificial. Constituem atualmente uma teoria para o estudo de fenômenos complexos e representam uma nova ferramenta na tecnologia de processamento de informação, por possuírem características como processamento paralelo, capacidade de aprendizagem, mapeamento não-linear e capacidade de generalização. Assim, neste estudo utilizam-se RNA na identificação e controle do braço robótico com elos flexíveis. Esta tese apresenta a modelagem dinâmica de braços robóticos com elos flexíveis, 1D no plano horizontal e 2D no plano vertical com ação da gravidade, respectivamente. Modelos dinâmicos reduzidos são obtidos pelo formalismo de Newton-Euler, e utiliza-se o método dos elementos finitos (MEF) na discretização dos deslocamentos elásticos baseado na teoria elementar da viga. Além disso, duas estratégias de controle têm sido desenvolvidas com a finalidade de eliminar as vibrações devido à flexibilidade do braço robótico com elos flexíveis. Primeiro, utilizase um controlador neural feedforward (NFF) na obtenção da dinâmica inversa do braço robótico flexível e o calculo do torque da junta. Análise da teoria evolucionista nos livros didáticos do PNLD - 2012 na educação básica

A preocupação com o ensino da Evolução não é recente. Diversos pesquisadores fazem apontamentos de como é frequente nos livros de didáticos de biologia adotados no Brasil, a abordagem do tema como uma teoria acabada concluída e, desprovida de contextualização histórica para compreensão por parte dos alunos de como os conceitos foram desenvolvidos ao longo do tempo. Os pesquisadores relatam que a maior dificuldade dos alunos em compreender os conceitos ou a teoria da evolução está nos recorrentes equívocos conceituais e históricos presentes nos livros didáticos. Portanto, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo elaborar uma revisão bibliográfica, do que os teóricos especialistas na área do ensino de ciências têm apresentado sobre a Teoria da Evolução e o Ensino de Evolucionismo e qual tem sido a abordagem nos livros didáticos para o ensino público. A pesquisa constitui-se de análise bibliográfica, desenvolvida com base em material já elaborado, consultas em fontes bibliográficas do tipo: livros de leitura corrente de divulgação e publicações periódicas. Sendo a análise desse material de cunho qualitativo. A primeira etapa consistiu da escolha do tema e um levantamento preliminar do assunto. As etapas seguintes foram: o levantamento bibliográfico, a partir da problematização estabelecida, busca das fontes, leitura e fichamento do material. Para o fichamento dos livros didáticos o método utilizado foi fazê-lo em forma de registros. Foram feitos registros de seis coleções aprovadas PNDL de 2012: Bio. Lopes; Rosso, 2010. A ideologia dos filmes utilizados na educação infantil: uma análise a partir da teoria crítica

This work has as purpose to show what are the influences of media in the education and in the shaping the thinking and understand that ideologies are present in the films used in the classroom in kindergarten. For this, I directed the discussion beginning by concepts as Ideology and its more different definitions by several thinkers over the years, the thinkers of Critical Theory of Frankfurt School, called “frankfurtians” of first and second generation of this school, also making an association between Cinema and Education, evidencing concepts involving this association as Cultural Industry, using films properly in classrooms in kindergarten, with the teacher as mediator and then discussed what amounts of movies on children's education, how they assist and deepen the knowledge developed by students in schools of infantile education. Additionally, they are exposed the different opinions about the subject Film and Education for students from kindergarten, what benefits and what disadvantages in the use of films, the different opinions on the subject. We also discuss, in this work, the ideologies present in three films produced by Walt Disney, they are Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Alice in Wonderland, relating them to how they can contribute to the development and learning students in kindergarten. I associated more as possible the previous discussions to analyze the ideologies present in these films, by summarizing these, and decomposing them through an analysis tool called frame. Finally, I completed everything that was discussed and analyzed, which students in kindergarten may develop with the use of films in schools, what they contribute, in some way, for the learning and education of students as viewers using the school as access to different cultures and the teacher as a mediator of this relationship

Avaliação das condições de contorno da teoria de Hertz, comparando os resultados analíticos e numéricos a partir de simulações em software de elementos finitos

The objective of this study was to present the comparison between analytical and numerical results trying to identify the differences and behaviors of the variation of the principal stresses and the maximum contact pressure for different model configurations. The analytical equations of the theory of Hertz from the boundary conditions adopted by him were differences are shown. A step-by-step of developing the model indicating the geometric dimensions, surface contact, type of contact, the formulation used by the software, type of mesh, as well as the boundary conditions and load was presented. In the results, the stresses calculated analytically and compared with the stresses obtained by the finite element simulation software indicating the changes have been made

Teoria do ciclo político-econômicos: um estudo de São Paulo e Minas Gerais

A Teoria dos Ciclos Político-Econômicos relata que os políticos influenciam o comportamento da economia por meio de manipulações das variáveis econômicas e de instrumentos políticos, visando à maximização de votos, por saberem que a situação econômica incide sobre as decisões eleitorais. Neste contexto, este trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar se existem evidências de ciclos políticos no Brasil, no período de 2002 a 2010. Para isso, procederam-se análises gráficas da evolução do saldo orçamentário dos estados de São Paulo e de Minas Gerais desta época. Os resultados apontaram que em alguns períodos estes ciclos ainda estão presentes, embora eles tendam a desaparecer devido à implantação da Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal de 2000, a qual objetiva um maior controle das contas públicas

Aplicação da teoria das restrições na manufatura de uma empresa siderúrgica

The competition among companies nowadays, caused by globalization and with customers more and more demanding, makes the companies rethink their strategies for survival. To improve their competition the companies are adopting management tool to improve the manufacturing management, which is considered a key to success. The present study aimed to develop a method, based on techniques of theory of constraints and operational research, to ensure the best use of resources and best decision of a production line on a steel company, with focus in the customers’ delivery time, which is a requirement of the current market. The conclusion of this study is that the correct use of the management tools, such as theory of constraints and operational research, can ensure a long survival for the companies that duel for the market share, especially in regard to customers’ delivery time, that generates their satisfaction

Utilização do protocolo anycast em ambientes virtuais distribuídos visando à escalabilidade do sistema

Distributed Virtual Environments (DVE) allow multiple users interact with a virtual world by sharing, manipulating objects. Each user has his/her own vision of this world and every changes of state of the environment are distributed among other users. Due to technological constraints, most systems for distributed virtual environments support a limited number of users. The major limitation for development of DVE scale are imposed by the communication system. As the number of users grows, the amount of bandwidth required to exchange information in real time among stations to upgrade the environment and keep it in a consistent state for all connected users. Based on this situation is proposed a framework that uses the protocol anycast in the application layer that provides a load balancing among servers in the region and aims at reducing the latency of message delivery between participants selecting the DVE server best suited for the region participant to connect to the environment

Aplicando Métodos de Mineração Visual de Texto em conteúdo de Fórum de Discussão

We are included in a society where the use of the Internet became very important to our everyday life. The relationships nowadays usually happen through technological devices instead of face to face contact, for instance, Internet forums where people can discuss online. However, the global analysis is a big challenge, due to the large amount of data. This work investigates the use of visual representations to support an exploratory analysis of contents in messages from discussions forums. This analysis considers the thematic and the chronology. The target forums refer to the educational area and the analysis happens manually, i.e. by direct reading message-by-message. The proprieties of perception and cognition of the human visual system allow a person the capacity to conduct high-level tasks in information extraction from a graphical or visual representation of data. Therefore, this work was based on Visual Analytics, an area that aims create techniques that amplify these human abilities. For that reason we used software that creates a visualization of data from a forum. This software allows a forum content analysis. But, during the work, we identified the necessity to create a new tool to clean the data, because the data had a lot of unnecessary information. After cleaning the data we created a new visualization and held an analysis seeking a new knowledge. In the end we compared the new visualization with the manual analysis that had been made. Analyzing the results, it was evident the potential of visualization use, it provides a better correlation between the information, enabling the acquisition of new knowledge that was not identified in the initial analysis, providing a better use of the forum content

This thesis aims to analyze the applicability of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC to improve processes focused on agriculture. We discuss the origins of each system separately, Lean Manufacturing, the Toyota plants in Japan, and Six Sigma, by Motorola in the U.S., and then appears to merge them and can meet their complementarities and synergy between their tools. Finally, we describe a case study focused on the harvesting department, applicable to all types of manuals crops, covering the production of fruits, vegetables and greens. Teoria do desenho de mecanismos: aplicações na teoria dos conflitos internacionais

O presente trabalho busca apresentar os conceitos principais referentes à Teoria do Desenho de Mecanismos e sua aplicação à Teoria dos Conflitos Internacionais, e como sua utilização pode solucionar alguns problemas referentes à metodologia mais utilizada na análise dos conflitos, baseada na Teoria dos Jogos tradicional. Através de uma análise game-free, estabelecem condições gerais para a resolução de conflitos entre países, sem a necessidade de estabelecer formas de jogo específicas. Desse modo, determinam-se resultados para qualquer equilíbrio de qualquer forma de jogo que envolva países em disputa. O trabalho segue apresentando a relação causal entre incerteza e incentivos para revelar de maneira desonesta informações privadas como causas fundamentais de guerra. Analisam-se separadamente as condições que levam à guerra em dois tipos de incerteza, constantemente discutidas na literatura de conflitos internacionais: incerteza em relação ao custo de guerra e em relação à força relativa. Arquitetura Orientada a Serviços baseada na Tecnologia Jini: um caso de teste em Computação Ubíqua

T he people’s daily lives are surrounded by computing devices, with increasing resources (sensors) and, with increasing processing. How these devices communicate is still not natural and This retards the growth of Ubiquitous Computing. This paper presents a way in which these devices can communicate using Jini technology and concepts of Service Oriented Architecture, applying these concepts in a test case of Ubiquitous Computing. To conduct the test case was constructed a fictitious system for management of a soccer championship, where users can interact with each other and with the system in a simplified way, have access to data in real time of the championship during the event. This communication is performed by services built using Jini technology, which were based on key SOA concepts, such as modularity and reusability
