One of the actual biggest problems in big towns is the visual pollution. The advertising has become a necessity for any type of business, resulting in the use of as urban spaces as possible like fronts structures, lights, with too many colors and details to keep the attention of sight, thus becoming an important problem for the social and cultural coexistence. The work of graphic designer can reduce this problem through the concepts of visual identity applied on the enterprise building front, giving harmony in the colors and spaces where they can apply the advertising without to attack the urban beauty and esthetics.

A contribuição do projeto de identidade coorporativa na redução da poluição visual

Among Richard Wagner´s work output one finds the Tetralogy The Ring of the Nibelung, composed of four stories interconnected by the same plot. The theme is mythological and involves dramatis personae taken from the nordic universe. This article examines Erda, one of the protagonists of the story as she is called in the musical drama. This article will consist of a series of pertinent questions posed in order to fully understanding of the character and its role in the plot, the vocal type assigned to it and the co-relation between its Leitmotiv and the musical interweaving created by the composer, besides exploring other themes that bear direct relationship with the same.

Sobre a identidade do Centro de Educação Matemática (CEM): acidentes de uma leitura cartesiana

In this paper we present results of research conducted on the constitution of the identity of CEM (Centre for Mathematics Education), a group of mathematics teacher educators from the city of São Paulo, Brazil (1984-1997). We emphasize the processes of constitution of CEM’s identities, on the perspective of Oral History in Mathematics Education, of the Model of Semantic Fields and of theories of identities. As part of the broader endeavor of examining possibilities for constituting identities for the group, from several theoretical standpoints, here we report an exercise on constituting the identity of CEM from a Cartesian standpoint; the overall assumption is that we are not properly interested in what CEM is or was, but on the possibilities themselves. We argue that such analysis leads to an understanding of the group as being an accident involving the individual identities of its members but not to an understanding of CEM’s group identity as such.

Dispositivo estratégico, resistência e relações de poder: um ensaio sobre a identidade do Centro de Educação Matemática (CEM) e seu papel na (E)educação (M)matemática brasileira

This paper presents some results of the investigation on the Mathematical Education Centre (CEM), a group of mathematics teachers’ educators in São Paulo, Brazil, acting mainly between 1984 and 1997. The essay, marked by an effort to constitute the identity of the CEM based on Foucault, assumes that the identity constitution process is not about what CEM is or was, but mainly about a set of possibilities of apprehending it from its historically contextualized strategies and initiatives. In this Foucauldian reading, which brings about concepts such as "strategic device", "resistance" and "power relations", the CEM constitution appears while it creates conditions for the constitution of Brazilian modern mathematical education.

The visual identity is based on a semantic relationship of several signs that make up a coherent system. A bimédia language formed by text and image complement to create an understandable message. This study aims the use of non-verbal communication in the corporate visual identity design project, contextualizing the role of the designer as mediator for informational corporate message to their audiences.

O movimento homossexual no Brasil: construção da identidade, eventos e visibilidade mediática

The lesbian and gay movement has organized itself in Brazil with the goal of creating and making its sexual identity stronger, as well as fighting for its rights and against any homophobic act. This paper analyses the homosexual movement and its relation to building its own identity, as a fighting force. We emphasize the relevance of the manifestation events, such as the LGBT pride parade and, in Bauru, the diversity parade, events that not only provide visibility to the topic, with the presence of the media, but also, represent the voice of these people who search for their citizenship rights.

Diretrizes para análise e desenvolvimento de identidade visual: contribuições para o design ergonômico

Currently, too much visual information present in all media is form vehemently, for example, in print media and interfaces used for publicity in conjunction with informational design. This visual information has great influence in the lives of human beings, since the vision of these individuals is the sense most used. Studies on visual identity have not explored this issue in a satisfactory manner, favoring thus the subject of this little development projects in the area. Note the need for analyzes to enable implementation principles of projective, making them accessible to the understanding of most individuals. This study aimed to propose an evaluation of visual identities, which were analyzed by means of visual concepts of usability, design methodologies and Gestalt. We contacted design firms specializing in visual identity projects, places where interviews were conducted to collect the marks allowed for analysis. The results point to a frequent demand the employment of visual usability principles, design methodologies and design in Gestalt visual identities.

In my participation at the project of extension Possibilities and events from childhood experiences and pictures cut out for a job with teachers , accomplished with teachers and coordinators of nursery school, which aims to discuss the training of teachers through the field of affections, I developed a reflection on traditional teacher training methods which tend to assign an identity to the professor. From this reflection it is necessary a theoretical deepening about the constant attempt to assign a specific and absolute identity to the professor, the need in the human being to produce sense and, bypassing the concept of intimacy, as these things are intertwined. To evaluate the effect of breed group, slaughter weight and sex on tissue proportion of the leg and muscle, bone and fat ratio in confined kids, seventy-four goats of both sex were used and divided among breed groups: Alpine (A), ½ Nubian + ½ Alpine (½ ANA), ½ Boer + ½ Alpine (½ BA), ¾ Boer + ¼ Alpine (¾ BA) and ½ Nubian + ¼ Alpine + ¼ Boer, (Three cross - TC), at three slaughter weights (25, 30 and 35 kg). Leg represented 31.01% of half carcass, where 62.29% was total muscle, 21.45% total bone and 8.35% total fat. Alpine animals had higher bone weight than other groups. Male kids had higher muscle and bone proportion, whereas females had higher subcutaneous and intramuscular fat in leg. The percentage of total weight of the muscle, five muscles, adductor muscle, quadriceps muscle and femur were higher in the slaughter weights of 25 and 30 kg.
