Marcas da sexualidade construidas na idade média que contribuiram para o aparecimento da homofobia

Esse trabalho objetiva o estudo da sexualidade na Idade Média, a fim de analisar as marcas construídas pela história que contribuíram para a formação dos pensamentos fortemente presentes na sociedade contemporânea relacionados à homofobia. A Idade Média foi um período de grandes mudanças na sociedade, onde houve a disseminação de pensamentos relacionados à sexualidade que prejudicaram a vida de muitas pessoas, inclusive dos homossexuais. Portanto, para a realização dessa pesquisa serão considerados os acontecimentos marcantes sobre a sexualidade nessa época. Desse modo, considerando as concepções construídas e passadas de geração em geração, presenciamos atualmente grande ocorrência de episódios de preconceito e violência contra homossexuais, justificadas com argumentos fundamentados em ideias de tempos remotos. Assim, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, buscaremos compreender essas marcas deixadas pelo tempo utilizadas até hoje como instrumentos de preconceito e violência e geradoras de um fator contemporâneo, a homofobia

Modern society is characterized by the advance of technologies, the emergence and constant development of the technological field is responsible for a series of population adjustments, that being practically molded and daily transformed by media, which usually has the power of manipulating opinions and public approaches in every capacity and extensions of our lives, being a significantly and important tool, which most part of individuals in contemporary society can't work and live without, therefore most part of individuals depend on the use of many technological means, including social means, which have great relationship with the development and emergence of many psychological problems that completely impact on the social life of affected individuals, thus Physical Education is an area with the goal of verifying the level of influence that media reflects on the lifestyle choice to be followed and the relation of this influence with the presence and development of a series of psychological disorders that affect directly the health of those individuals. Meningite supurativa secundária a otite média e interna em um gato: relato de caso

Suppurative meningitis are rarely reported in dogs and cats. The present study aims to report the occurrence of suppurative meningitis secondary to otitis media and interna in a five-year-old female Persian cat examined at the Veterinary School of Unesp-Botucatu with acute progressive multifocal neurological alterations. Analysis of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) demonstrated predominance of neutrophils (90%) and the presence of bacteria. Therapy with antibiotics was initiated, but the animal came to die. beta-hemolytic Staphylococcus, beta-hemolytic Streptococcus and Proteus mirabilis were detected in fragments sent to culture. The present report demonstrates the importance of performing more specific exams such as complete CSF analysis in cases of otitis media and interna. This way, central nervous infections can be diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, as those are acute diseases with poor prognosis.

Comparation of free radical scavenging activity between seven species of Passiflora L.

Antioxidant capacities of seven species of Passiflora were evaluated through comparation of the free radical DPPH scavenging activity. The studied species included cultivated and traditionally used P. edulis, P. incarnata and P. alata and less common species P. coccinea, P. laurifolia, P. mucronata and P. gardneri. The experimental design was completely randomized with ANOVA and Tukey test as main statistical analyses. The results showed that species of Passiflora had variable antioxidant capacities, ranging from 28 to 95% of free radical DPPH scavenging activity.

Estudo químico dos escapos de Paepalanthus geniculatus Kunth

Eriocaulaceae species are popularly known as sempre-vivas. This family comprising approximately 1.200 species divided into 10 genera, with high endemic levels. Paepalanthus genus has high incidence in the Espinhaço Range region and the report of biological activities. Despite the large number of previous studies with Eriocaulaceae species, Paepalanthus geniculatus has no studies about their scapes, which demonstrates the need for new research to identify their chemical and biological composition. The aim of this work was to study the chemical composition of P. geniculatus ethanolic extract seeking the isolation and identification of metabolites and evaluate the radical scavenging activity of the extract and isolated substances. P. geniculatus were collected in Serra do Cipó-MG in 2013 (Voucher: SANO 3193) and the scapes were dried, crushed and the powder was percolated with ethanol. With the etanolic extract it is carried out a fractionation by gel permeation chromatography, yielding fractions analyzed by TLC assay. The fraction J89 (45,6 mg) was purified by semipreparative HPLC-PDA, resulting in the isolation of substance S1. The fractionation was also performed by medium pressure liquid chromatography, yielding fractions analyzed by TLC assay. The fraction number 4 (92,6 mg) were purified by semipreparative HPLC-PDA resulting in the isolation of substances S2 and S3. The substances S1 and S3 were analyzed by mono and twodimensional NMR, resulting in the identification of 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid (protocatechuic acid) and the flavonoid 6-hydroxyquercetin-7-O-β-Dglucopyranoside. The substance S2 were identified by comparison with standards, were it was possible to determine the presence of the flavonoid 6-hydroxy-7- methoxyquercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside. The main objective of this study focuses on investigate how the style of the Conhecimento Prático Língua Portuguesa magazine, from Escala publisher, reveals a materialization, in its wordings, of social values that surround our society regarding the teaching class. Besides, we thought about the construction of an other - teacher - by means of the I speech (the enunciator). Furthermore, we reflected on how happens the genre opinion article handling and whether there is, when aimed to the teaching class. All these questions were discussed under the perspective of Bakhtin's theory, focusing our analysis in the wording notions, dialogism, style and speech genres. Reestruturação e automação de processos: caso de um processo da área de compras e suprimentos de uma empresa brasileira do setor de mídia

Innovation in the field of Information Technology (IT) have made companies evaluate their processes and activity of its supply chain to conform to this new reality. In the supply chain management, one of the tools that revolutionized the activities was the use of management information systems such as ERP tool. This system allows greater integration of data from multiple areas of the enterprise and beyond, giving more activities to processes and activities. This work aims to analyze the results and impacts of the restructuring of an equipment leasing process in a Brazilian media company and verify that the gains and improvements that were targeted in the initial design of this restructuring have been achieved. Also the risks identified with this change will be studied, the reactions of those involved in this process and the performance of the chain as a whole. To carry out this work was carried out a single case study with data collection in the assessed company and literature related to supply chain and information systems
