Protagonismo quilombola: seus sujeitos e seus saberes influenciando a educação

This article aims at presenting the quilombola people and their knowledge, as they influence education, as well as and the education that exists in these communities in Brazil, particularly in the state of São Paulo. Furthermore, it tries to explain what are the quilombos, the origin of the term and the political and cultural history of these populations in the country, drawing a time continuum to facilitate the understanding of the reality of these groups and communities in various parts of the country in the XXI century. Thus we will have the opportunity to reflect, discuss and clarify some aspects that guide the reality of the quilombola communities in Brazil, and therefore to expand our critical capacity about the present educational process.

As políticas educacionais do Brasil: a (in)visibilidade da sexualidade e das relações de gênero

The present study, theoretical, aims to talk about educational policies in Brazil, aiming to unveil what they say these policies, the legitimacy and visibility that give coverage of sexuality in schools. Both sexuality and gender relations have gained attention in a Brazilian educational research in the mid-90th century. These policies have been the National Curricular Parameters (PCN). They present the cross-cutting themes: ethics, health, environment, cultural diversity and sexual orientation, which should be integrated into conventional areas of the school said. Another document of this same decade of education is the National Education Plan (PNE), however this encompasses so hidden sexuality and gender relations. In fact, both the new Law of Directives and Bases (LDB), the PNE in these subjects are veiled. An interesting initiative is happening in Brazil is the project Gender and Sexual Diversity (GDE) for the training of professionals in education issues of gender, sexuality and sexual orientation and ethnic-racial relations, is entering the national perspective of implementation public policy of equality and respect for diversity. However, much remains to be done thinking about the effectiveness of public policies that are effective with respect to space and visibility for the treatment of sexuality. We must also articulate the integration of these themes in these policies, strategies to raise awareness of education professionals in order to secure that they are actually implemented.

This paper proposes some reflections from activities developped in the context of a research supported by FAPESP called “As políticas de educação profissional e tecnológica no Brasil pós LDB 9394/96”. Our purpose is to analyze the federal legislation of professional and technological education, by enphasizing its impacts in technical schools of São Paulo (Brazil).

The present study represents a qualitative thesis, characterized as a case study, which uses the method of the present approach. In addressing the academic home in physical education, there is the constancy of the discussions regarding the curriculum and professional formatting. In view of the curriculum modifications to fit the new legislation, and the fact they are few studies related to private institutions that offer such courses, which offer even greater number of courses when compared to public institutions aimed to investigate and analyze the professional profiles, curricular goals and flows contained in the pedagogical projects of courses bachelor degree in physical education and a private institution of higher education of the State of São Paulo, as well as verifying the existence and adequacy of articulation to the institutional educational project and the institutional development plan. Compounding the literature review discussed the key historical facts relating to courses in physical education in our country, and its path to the current model. Also presented was the law of physical education courses in force in Brazil and some concepts about teaching course projects and their relationship to other institutional documents. Techniques were used to review and document analysis, with primary source documents of their own and other government institution. It found a lack of interest of some private institutions of higher education in official documents available for this type of research, which is bad since there are more courses offered by them compared to public institutions. As for the degree course for training teachers of physical education, found lack of specificity regarding the differentiation between content and the bachelor, which ends up deviating from the expectations contained in the course to the one presented in the curriculum. As proposições teórico-metodológicas para a Educação Física escolar das décadas de 1980 e 1990: antes, agora, e depois?

O objetivo desta pesquisa é realizar, uma avaliação crítica de algumas das proposições teórico-metodológicas para a Educação Física Escolar elaboradas no Brasil nas décadas de 1980 e 1990, a partir do ponto de vista de seus autores. Para tal, foram entrevistados seis autores. Conclui que tais proposições continuam sendo importantes na formação dos professores, mas precisam ser articuladas com novos conhecimentos e se aproximarem das práticas pedagógicas concretas.

Determinação do teor alcoólico da cachaça: uma abordagem das propriedades intensivas

The Resolution number 3 of the Câmara de Educação Básica (CEB)/Conselho Nacional de Educação (CNE), published in 1998, June 26 (BRASIL, 1998), which established the National Curriculum Guidelines for High School Education, emphasizes the interdisciplinarity, in its 8th Article. However, almost fourteen years later, the reality in most of our schools is the adoption of a merely disciplinary methodology, vis-à-vis the difficulty related to educational planning activities of this kind. In this paper, we present a proposal of an interdisciplinary experimental activity that addresses the concept of surface tension, connecting physicists and chemists. The idea is that students determine the alcohol content of “cachaça” and discuss the concepts of surface tension forces between equal molecules, similar and different.
