This article is part of a master's degree dissertation that studied the way as stigmas and stereotypes regarding lesbianity influence the life, in the sphere of the sexuality, of women that denominate themselves as lesbians, resident in a city in the interior of the State of São Paulo. The stigma here analyzed is that lesbians are women that frustrated with men. We tried to show, through the narratives of the research s participants and basing on gender and feminist studies, how the heteronormativist system naturalizes the masculinity to the men and the sexuality in the masculinity, and how it legitimates speeches about lesbian woman through the heterosexual referential. Also, we tried to show some strategies of the biopoder for the maintenance of that system and, starting from interviews in depth, we presented how the participants of the research (lesbian women) make speeches on that stigma and how they re-significate it through their own narratives. This study approaches the ways that stigmas and stereotypes of lesbianity influence the sexuality realm of the lives of women who define themselves as lesbians. Basing on the gender and feminists studies, we questioned the legitimations of the heteronormativist society presented as arbitrary speeches about the lesbian existence - the promiscuity and the sexual illegitimacy. Starting from interviews in depth, we presented how the participants of the research (lesbian women) discourse regarding the construction of their subjectivations, through their life histories narratives. Gymnastics for all or General Gymnastics is a gymnastic body practice without competitive purposes, demonstrative character that combines the basics of gymnastics with different forms of body language. It is a pleasurable physical activity and inclusive, within the gymnastic possibilities offers great opportunities for participation of people, creativity, cooperation and human values experiences (AYOUB, 2003). Within this proposal is, in 2011, the Gymnastic Group UNESP, under the guidance and coordination of teachers Laurita Marconi Schiavon e Silvia Deustch as a project of university extension of the Department of Physical Education, Biosciences Institute of the São Paulo State University / Campus Rio Claro - SP. His working method and choreographic composition based on the proposal of the Gymnastic Group Unicamp, reference in this body practice in Brazil, and their course is in two parts: one for the exploration of all the resources that the teaching materials can provide and the other focused on social interaction of its participants. Therefore the research developed in this study aimed to verify contributions of the participation of members in Gymnastic Group Unesp vocational training thereof, and to verify the relationship and the approach of the members with Gym. The methodological approach adopted for this qualitative research is descriptive, and quantitative and qualitative data collected through questionnaires. The participants were 32 students from different courses at the University, and members of Gymnastic Unesp Group from 2011 to 2013, with the inclusion criteria: 1. minimum of one year of participation in Gymnastic Group Unesp; 2. Minimum of two performances of choreography in events with that group. The aim of this study was to compare the quality of clarifi ed juice and VHP (Very High Purity) sugar produced from “bisada” sugarcane and an early maturation variety, at the beginning of harvest. The experiment was conducted at Usina São Martinho S/A, Pradópolis,SP (Brazil). The process of juice clarifi cation and sugar production was conducted at the Laboratory of Technology of Sugar and Alcohol in the College of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences at the Universidade Estadual Paulista (FCAV/UNESP), Jaboticabal (SP). The experimental design was randomized, and two varieties were used: SP83-2847 (“bisada” sugarcane) and RB855156 (early maturation), with twelve replications for technological analysis and four replications for sugar production. The clarifi cation process and the clarifi ed juice was evaluated in terms of settling rates, volume of sludge that formed, total soluble solids, pH, turbidity, total phenolic compounds, starch and color. The sugar was characterized regarding the percentage of apparent sugar, color, total phenolic compounds, starch, fi lterability, humidity and safety factor. It was verifi ed that the processing of the juice clarifi cation was not affected by the processing of the “bisada” sugarcane. However, the clarifi ed juice from the SP83-2847 variety had a more intense color and a higher total soluble solids value. The sugar produced from the “bisada” sugarcane presented similar quality to the early maturation variety. It was concluded that the processing of “bisada” sugarcane at the start of the harvest did not affect the juice clarifi cation and resulted in VHP sugar of a quality similar to that of the early maturation variety.

The present study scores postures, approaches and themes to permeadt discussions and the process of construction of Course Specialization of communication at the Faculty of architecture, arts and communication (FAAC) of Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Bauru, SP, highlighting the difficulties and the paths chosen in search of professional qualification together organizations. Presentation the investigative process, market over demands from the perspective of organizational communication, to try to understand the multidimensional abilities that the course should provide. Finally, it establishes some modules and thematic for the course, intending to reflect the diversity of communicative functions, which are in the highest capacity of human beings, that is to create your reality and interfere in the direction of society.

In this term paper is studied the use of models and analogies and it's influences in the study of chemistry, for learning and understanding of concepts related to the kinetic theory of gases. It was developed an activity with students of high school second year, enrolled in a State school, in the city of Bauru-SP. It was built and developed a model using the mechanical vertical model scheme, based on the proposal of Professor Luiz Ferraz Netto, for the teaching of the kinetic theory of gases. It was applied a questionary to evaluate the effect of the model in the classroom, and the analysis of data was done in descriptive qualitative way. It was verified that the methodology favored the development of conceptual understanding, demonstrating significant results on the theme of learning

The objective of this study was evaluate the effects of retification® temperatures and times on thickness variation from Eucalyptus grandis timber. Boards from logs of 30-year-old Eucalyptus grandis trees, from São Paulo Forest Institute in Santa Barbara, Brazil, were thermally modified at 180ºC for 2.5 hours, at 200ºC for 3.0 hours and 200ºC for 4.0 hours. The results showed that: (1) the thermally modified wood at 200°C by 3.0 to 4.0 hours showed increased thickness between 0.698 mm and 0.874 mm due to the internal cracks, (2) the thermally modified wood at 180°C by 2.5 hours has a decreased from 0,177 mm in thickness and the absences of internal cracks.

Importance of silicon fertilization is related to the benefits that silicon is able to promote tolerance to heavy metals, reduce the incidence of pests and diseases, increased productivity, drought tolerance, among others. The objective of this study was to evaluate the phyllosilicates effect on biomass formation, nutrients and silicon on the early stages of corn plants compared to wollastonite. Experiment was installed and conducted in a greenhouse located at the Universidade Estadual Paulista, UNESP, in Registro, SP. Consisting of 10 treatments established in a randomized block design in scheme factorial (2 x 5), with five replications. First factor corresponds to the two types of soil (Oxisol and Ultisol) and the second factor, five treatments (control, 0 kg ha-1 Si; wollastonite W13, 13 kg ha-1 Si; wollastonite W26, 26 kg ha-1 Si; phyllosilicates F13, 13 kg ha-1 Si; phyllosilicates F26, 26 kg ha-1 Si). In Ultisol, phyllosilicates increased production of fresh, dry biomass and silicon content in shoots of corn compared to treatment with wollastonite and control. Highest Si content compared to control (6.2 g kg-1) was obtained with 13 kg ha-1 Si of phyllosilicates (9.8 g kg-1). The greatest accumulation mass and Si in plants by applying phyllosilicates were observed in Ultisol, although this display Si content higher than Oxisol.

Embora o conhecimento sobre a florística dos fragmentos de florestas estacionais semideciduais tenha crescido nos últimos anos, ainda sabe-se pouco sobre a comunidade de lianas (lenhosas ou herbáceas) nesses fragmentos. Assim, foi realizado o levantamento florístico de lianas na gleba Maravilha, pertencente ao Parque Estadual de Vassununga (Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, SP), a fim de colaborar com o conhecimento dessa comunidade e subsidiar futuros trabalhos que envolvam essa forma de vida. A área de estudo compreende 127,08 ha, com inverno seco e temperatura média anual de 22 ºC. Para a coleta do material, percorreu-se mensalmente toda a borda do fragmento e três trilhas no interior da mata, de agosto/2002 a setembro/2003. Foram identificadas 120 espécies de lianas, pertencentes a 30 famílias e 71 gêneros, das quais 51% das espécies são volúveis, 42% apresentam gavinhas e apenas 7% são escandentes. As famílias mais representativas em número de espécies foram: Bignoniaceae (26), Malpighiaceae (14), Sapindaceae (12) e Asteraceae (9). Houve baixa similaridade florística entre as espécies de lianas presentes na gleba Maravilha em relação a outras áreas de florestas estacionais semideciduais do interior paulista.
