At first, this paper presents the epistemological and theoretical bases that support the inclusion of an operational concept for the findability of information in the field of Information Science. In a second moment, it defines the key attributes and recommendations for the findability of information, with a view to their understanding in a practical perspective, from the epistemological and theoretical support presented. From a theoretical, exploratory, bibliographic and documentary study, the results reveal that epistemologically the findability of information fits in Information Science in post-custodial paradigm that focuses on access to information and is significantly influenced by Information and Communication Technologies. The theoretical conclusions of this concept focus on the evolution of the Web and from the perspective of the dimensions of language, where there is as pragmatic trend, as technological development that combines the actions taken by informational and institutional individuals in digital information environments. Given that these actions turn enable or not the findability of information, these individuals can be understood as mediators. Therefore, the concept of infocommunicational mediation is the basis for the findability of information. For its application in digital information environments, were defined attributes and guidelines which should be considered in the context of Information Architecture. The attributes characterizing the concept and guidelines point at practical actions for the design and for evaluation of the findability of information. Epistemological, theoretical and practical concepts addressed underpin the called operative concept in information science and should be further explored in this scientific field.

The school library is a preferential placefor the contact of students with various informationresources and action of librarians and teachers, likemediators in order to enhance this experience. Thecollaborative relationship between this mediators isessential for planning and implementing activitiesfor learning. This article discusses some aspects ofcollaborative work between teachers and librarianand presents the results of applying a model ofcollaboration with the two librarians in Marília-SP, Brazil. Data collection was conducted withlibrarians from two schools, through interviews.The analysis was performed using the technique ofcontent analysis from four models of collaboration.It is noticed that the models are applicable tothe brazilian context and that there is a model ofcooperation prevailing in the participating schools.KEYWORDS: School library. The current nature of World Wide Web (Web), which highlights the collaborative participation of users in some digital information environments, lead to development of guidelines with a focus on Inclusive Digital Information Architecture for a different audiences in multiples informational ambiences. This research proposes guidelines for a inclusive digital information environment, aiming to identify the elements of accessibility that allow the promotion of inclusion digital information, in order to highlight the references of the Architecture of Digital Information, the international recommendations and the structures representation of information (specially accessibility attributes), with the look of Information Science and New Technologies of Information and Communication. The thesis is as to the need to develop methodologies with guidelines that contemplate the elements of digital accessibility focused on the task of the user. The research problem is that actual methodologies and recommendations used for the development of digital information environments do not cover all the elements of accessibility with a focus on user needs. The proposition is to present, through a methodological approach (exploratory and descriptive), a theoretical-methodological proposal to promote elements of digital accessibility to the development of digital information environments, for users with or without special needs. The overall objective of this study is to contribute to the development of inclusive digital information environments, in perspective of union of theories, recommendations and technologies for the development of digital accessibility guidelines. In a theoretical dimension, the research covers a critical review of the specialized literature in the areas of Information Science and Computer Science and, in the applied part, the analysis and development of a proposal of guidelines for the architecture of a digital information environment with accessibility.

This article brings to light a reflection about the possibility to enlarge the notion about document. Beyond the French school explanation, and taking up again important author of Information Science campus, the debates exposes within the Brazilian Catholic dimensions is possible to extrapolate the revision about the document’s idea, which is generally restrict to informational spaces. The National Sanctuary of Aparecida protects in a specific room the votive offerings – objects leaved there whether to pay a promise or to thank for any miracle that someone believes receive it. It is mediation’ space and it is can be thought as an environment, because there are possibilities to establish mediations inside it. Although, the room of the promises is a sacred and profane place, it involves a Cathequesis mission, expositive, informational, in spite of this last characteristic does not be explicit. First of all, the article reflects about the room of the promises and follows analyzing the document’s comprehension; in a second moment we finish purposing to understand the votive offering as a faith’s document, because they assume the position as proof of miracles and received graces, and these special objects brings with them a materiality positive and a documental value which the room fo the promises give to them.

Alterações nas competências motoras da infância até a idade adulta envolvem vários aspectos do comportamento humano. Na perspectiva cognitiva, indivíduos planejam ações motoras através de três estágios seqüenciais e interdependentes: identificação do estímulo, seleção da resposta e programação da resposta. Após tais estágios que correspondem à preparação motora, o tempo de execução inicia. A partir do sinal imperativo, o executante seleciona e programa a ação. Se o estímulo é apresentado consistentemente da mesma forma, então a resposta a tal estímulo será mais rápida, comparada a uma situação em que o estímulo é apresentado de forma diferente do esperado. Neste último caso, o executante necessitará reprogramar sua ação motora e consequentemente levará mais tempo para planejá-la. O objetivo deste estudo foi examinar o efeito de informação prévia (i.e., dica) na preparação e execução de tarefa de alcance a um alvo por crianças de 6, 8, e 10 anos e adultos. Informação prévia era fornecida em três condições experimentais: correta, incorreta e neutra. As variáveis dependentes foram: tempo de reação (TR), tempo de movimento (TM), tempo de desaceleração (TD), índice de retidão (IR) e número de unidades de movimento (UnM). Com respeito à preparação da ação motora, os resultados indicaram que o TR diminuiu com a idade. Para as crianças de 6 anos, o TR com dica correta foi ligeiramente mais rápido do que na condição sem dica. Todavia, na condição com dica incorreta, o TR para as crianças de 6 anos era mais lento comparado com os demais grupos. Com respeito à execução da ação motora, os resultados indicaram mudanças desenvolvimentais em todas as variáveis dependentes, TM, TD, IR, UnM. De modo geral, os resultados do presente estudo mostraram que aos 6 anos de idade crianças são capazes de utilizar informação antecipada para preparar uma simples ação de alcance...

Sistemas de liberação controlada são formas farmacêuticas que visam aumentar a eficácia terapêutica, a segurança do tratamento e a adesão dos pacientes. Neste contexto, as matrizes poliméricas, que buscam controlar o perfil de liberação de um fármaco, surgem como opção. Assim surge a necessidade de desenvolver e analisar materiais multifuncionais, que apresentem características superiores a dos materiais poliméricos comuns, como os híbridos orgânico-inorgânicos. Esse projeto teve como objetivo analisar a capacidade de incorporação e liberação “in vitro” dos fármacos cloridrato de pramoxina e acetato de dexametasona em sistemas híbridos orgânico-inorgânicos. As amostras foram preparadas utilizando misturas em diferentes proporções de materiais híbridos ureasil-polioxietileno (POE-1900) que possui um caráter altamente hidrofílico e ureasil-polioxipropileno (POP-400) com caráter altamente hidrofóbico. A partir dessas misturas pode-se controlar o balanço hidrofílico/hidrofóbico das matrizes híbridas, permitindo avaliar o comportamento desses sistemas, frente a incorporação de fármacos tanto hidrofílicos, como hidrofóbicos. Os testes de incorporação revelaram a capacidade desses materiais de incorporar os fármacos cloridrato de pramoxina e acetato de dexametasona em concentrações relativamente altas (20% m/m e 3% m/m, respectivamente) se comparado a formulações hoje presentes no mercado. Utilizando as diferentes proporções dos precursores POE-1900 e POP-400 foi possível modular o perfil de liberação dos fármacos, sendo que as amostras com maiores proporções do POP-400 tiveram uma liberação mais retardada, devido hidrofobicidade do material. As amostras contendo a dexametasona (hidrofóbico) apresentaram uma liberação mais lenta, constante e gradual se comparado a pramoxina (hidrofílico).

In this work were studied associations of ZnO with the natural products caffeic and feluric acids. Two preparation methods were used, that is, the sol-gel and a reflux procedure. In the sol-gel method, ZnO is produced by the basics hydrolysis of precursors in the presence of the organic filters (caffeic and feluric acids), which results in 30 nm (or less) ZnO particles with the organic filters (in dissociated form) bonded to the surface of ZnO. In the reflux method, a dispersion of ZnO in a water/ethanol mixture was kept under reflux (50oC/4h) in the presence of the organic acids. The ZnO particles used in the reflux method have a higher diameter than sol-gel ZnO particles, but the prepared associated product ZnO/Organic acids were similar. Despite of the difference in relation to crystallinity between the products, the preparation methods resulted in analogous associations with respect to the interaction of the organic filters with the ZnO surface. The caffeic/ZnO associations presented low photostability, which lead to the degradation of the organic filter. The other associations (feluric acid/ZnO) presented satisfactory results. The FT-IR spectroscopy confirmed the formation of the association, and the nature of the bond formed compared with the Zn-O bond in Zn2+/Felutic acid complexes. The isolated organic and inorganic filters, along with the associations were analyzed by diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and Uv-vis spectroscopy. The absorption edges and the critical wavelengths were analyzed and the effects of Zn-O bonds in feluric acid/ZnO associations described as a function of the relative position of the π/π* system of the organic filter. Finally the performance of the hybrid filters were investigated in terms of the absorption of UVA and UVB radiations, with the UVA/UVB ratio, an efficiency parameter largely used in the description of solar filters, sunscreen and suncare products

The concern with the environment preservation has done with that researchers as well as industries invest in the search for materials that come from renewable sources. Natural fibers, because they are ecologically correct and have low cost, have been studied as a possible substitute, even if partial, of synthetic fibers in the development of polymeric composites. In this context, the hybrid composites (natural/synthetic) increase considerably the range of application of natural composites. The auto industry, in its constant quest for good mechanical properties materials which are developed with sustainability, has in composites with hybrid reinforcement a very viable alternative. In the present work, the nature Crown pineapple fibers and nature Crown pineapple fibers treated with alkaline solution were studied in order to evaluate the influence of chemical treatment in its properties. For this techniques were used x-ray diffractometry, Thermogravimetry and Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Composites have been developed using polypropylene, reinforced with pineapple fibers and pineapple fibers hybrids/glass fibres, both with levels of 5 and 10%. These composites were analyzed by Thermogravimetry techniques and tested by traction. The realization of this work indicated that although the chemical treatment did not affect the thermal stability of the fibers, caused an increase in crystallinity index fibers and decreased its hydrophilic. The tests performed on composite indicated that the composites process was suitable because it provided good dispersion of the polymer matrix. The addition of natural fibers from the pineapple's Crown, in a proportion of 10%, provided the greatest increase in modulus of elasticity (27%) when compared to the pure polymer
