Formação continuada: dialogando com os professores que atuam no ensino infantil e fundamental (Ciclo I) da rede municipal de Bauru/SP

Currently, we can observe a significant increase in the disappointment of the world population about education, which raised doubts about the current school system and resulted in a forced increase of interest in an education reconstruction. The investigation process of this research based itself in the qualitative exploratory approach, since it allows the interpretation of the reality of the investigated environment, and it is concern about the process and not the quantification of data. Five professionals who work for the prefecture in the city of Bauru participated in this study and they graduated in the third module of the continuing education of the department of physical education from UNESP/Bauru, which occur in the second semester of 2010. The purpose of the present study was to identify the reasons why teachers who work for the prefecture in the city of Bauru look for the continuing education in physical education and explore their expectations and perception about the course. Considering the analysis presented in this study, we can observe that the search for continuing education based itself in issues such as: the confusion that exists between theory and practice, where the teachers exemplifies that, after their initial education, theory was not consistent with the real needs of their pedagogical practice; the entry of students younger and younger in the infant and fundamental education; the search for contents that answer the needs of psychomotor development of children between 2 and 5 years old and, at the same time, contents for the inclusion of children with special needs; as well as political pedagogical issues. Proposta de adequação à construção sustentável: tecnologias e alternativas para instituições de ensino

Due to the huge impact negative on the environmental caused by the civil construction, the university plays a majorital role in the proposal of studies and projects that aim the sustainable building. Nowadays, it has been noted the great demand for projects which contain a systemic focus in the tripod of the sustainable development, that is to say, more and more the consumers are demanding that the final result of a project contemplate the social, economic and environmental areas. According to the National Industry Confederation (CNI) and the Brazilian Chamber of the Industry and the Construction (CBIS), the goal for 2020 is that the constructions have an environmental performance 20% higher in comparison to the actual one, starting with an index defined by many indicators, such as: water consumption, energy, residues generation and social-environmental performance of the bought products. In this case, the theme of the project comes around the adequation of scholar institutions to the sustainable construction through simple changes of tecnologies and habits aiming the growth of the environmental eficiency of the enterprise and, consequently, the improve of sustainable practices inside the institution. Once the change is proposed, it will be furnished datas liable of reproduction for the adequation of others scholar institutions, according to it's necessity or interest. After the realization of the studies, it was possible to notice that the environmental performance of a scholar institution can be improved through the implantation of tecnologies of fast return in the investment, such as: flow reducers, rain water reuse system, green roof, retrofit of lamps and execution of a photovoltaic system. Besides the fast return of investment, the monthly economy of the applied tecnologies combined can reach 75% when compared to the actual spending with water and electric energy

Prevalência de cárie dentária em gestantes atendidas no Sistema Único de Saúde em município paulista

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the dental caries prevalence and the use and needs of dental prosthetic in pregnant women attending in the National Health System in northwestern city of São Paulo state. The sample involved women, between 3 and 9 months of gestation, who were taking prenatal care in Health Units. Those who consented (n = 119) were examined and interviewed by calibrated dentists. We used the DMF-T index and indicators of the use and needs of dental prosthetic. The average age of the pregnant women was 24.7 years, the majority brown (48.7%) with complete high school (60.5%). The average DMFT was 11.7 and 25.2% and 46.2% of them require upper and lower prosthesis, respectively. The oral health indices showed a high DMT-F and great need for dental prostheses. The results show the need for actions directed, with the aim of to improve the specialized attention to the health of mothers and their babies.

A interculturalidade no ensino-aprendizagem em relações públicas: contribuições a partir de uma parceria internacional

This paper presents the aspects of an intercultural experience relative to the international partnership of teachingapprenticeship in public relations between the São Paulo State University (Brazil) and the University of Sevilla (Spain). The purpose is of reflecting on the interculturality and its importance for the graduation in public relations, presenting results of this academic experience. To this end, we seek to describe the partnership, discuss the influences of this teachingapprenticeship process and its intercultural experience.

O desafio da interação no ensino de língua estrangeira em cursos on-line e presenciais nas escolas públicas paulistas

La popularización de los medios digitales y los recursos de comunicación difunde las narrativas no lineales y agrava la crisis de la enseñanza en el aula, con la expansión de diferentes modelos presenciales virtuales de la educación (PVE). Es evidente la demasificación de los nuevos medios, en un contexto que agudiza la percepción individual y social de los individuos, que son atraídos por el enorme flujo global de mensajes informativos (BRIGGS; BURKE, 2006). La transición de los métodos de enseñanza en el aula para modelar la educación virtual e interactiva ganó un nuevo formato en la educación pública en São Paulo en 2012, con el lanzamiento de cursos electivos de enseñanza de Inglés y Español para estudiantes de la secundaria, con la mediación de el PC y con el contenido producido por la Escuela Virtual de Programas Educativos del Estado de São Paulo - Evesp. Aún continua presencia en los salones de las grandes clases del sistema escolar, la falta de materiales de enseñanza y aprendizaje adecuados en las clases impartidas por los profesores cuyos repertorios están alejados de la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes. En este contexto, se comprueban las actuaciones de aprendizaje cualitativos más bien negativos de las cuatro habilidades comunicativas: escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir (CAMERON, 2001). La investigación que llevamos a cabo es analizar las experiencias de enseñanza de Inglés y Español en la plataforma computarizada Evesp y de la clase de Inglés y Español de los Centros para el Curso de idiomas (CELS), para la escuela secundaria, y el piloto Early Bird, de enseñanza y el aprendizaje de Inglés de la escuela primaria, todos bajo la Junta de Educación de Bauru (SP).

Resultado da implantação de um Núcleo Interno de Regulação de Leitos nos indicadores administrativo-assistenciais em um hospital de ensino

Objective To compare hospital indicators before and after implementing an Internal Bed Regulation Committee at a reference hospital. Methods It is an quantitative, evaluation, exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional research. The data was gathered from the hospital administrative reports for the period 2008-2013, provided by the Information Technology Center of the Complexo FAMEMA. Results The indicators improved after implementation of the Internal Bed Regulation Committee. Conclusion The individuals involved in the process acknowledged the improvement. It is necessary to carry on the regulatory actions, especially in a comprehensive and complex healthcare system, such as the brazilian Sistema Único de Saúde.
