The object of this study was assess through pre-clinical tests, the possible diuretic activity and the effects on the mean arterial pressure of the aqueous and ethanolic extracts of branches of “bugre”, Hedyosmum brasiliense Miq., species used in the treatment of renal and urinary disorders The tests were made in males anesthetized Wistar rats and randomly distributed into 4 experimental groups: Group I – Water control, group II – treated with aqueous extract (EA) of “bugre”, Group III – water control + “tween 80”, group IV – treated with ethanol extract (EE) and “bugre”. All groups were subjected to experimental protocol, composed of three periods: Balance (40 minutes), Basal (30 minutes) and Experimental (90 minutes), occurring the urine collection every 30 minutes, from the basal period and measuring blood pressure every 10 minutes. The results presented validate the ethnobotany indication of the use of H. brasiliense tea in the treatment of renal problems, because increased significantly the urinary flow in anesthetized Wistar rats (diuretic effect), without changing significantly (p>0,05) the arterial pressure

Atualmente vivemos na era da informação, da comunicação e das tecnologias, que mantém a sociedade em constante transformação, principalmente na educação e nos comportamentos das pessoas, influenciando direta ou indiretamente na construção da identidade pessoal ou coletiva. Pensando que a educação ocorre tanto na família, como na escola, é possível observar com mais clareza a influência destes elementos através da forma com que as crianças passam a se comportar em diversos ambientes. A mídia é cada vez mais parte integrada do nosso cotidiano, incluindo-se também o ambiente escolar, participando da vida dos alunos (BETTI, 2003). Para compreender a relação aluno-escola seguimos a perspectiva de Perrenoud (1995), pensando que a escola representa um lugar de muitas socializações, e que o desenvolvimento da identidade de aluno se desenvolve também nesse contexto, podemos questionar qual seria o papel da mídia? Esta tem influenciado? Em que? Para Identidade consideramos a perspectiva de Dubar (1995), que a considera como um processo em constante construção, sendo que existem meios específicos que contribuem para o desenvolvimento identitário, tanto a identidade biográfica como a relacional. Estabelecendo uma relação entre mídia e identidade, o presente estudo propôs-se a pesquisar a influência da mídia na construção da identidade de aluno, tomando como base as aulas de educação física, momento em que os estudantes tem maior possibilidade de expressão corporal. Como objetivo geral buscou-se compreender como os escolares constroem sua identidade de aluno a partir da influência da mídia na Educação Física. Especificamente: I. Identificar quais são os fatores midiáticos que influenciam na constituição da identidade de aluno; II. Analisar quais são os aspectos que compõe a identidade de aluno. With the growing market for advertising geared towards the infant public, inserting since small children in the capitalist world with his powers of persuasion, raises concerns in knowing what are the subjective messages that advertisements are transmitting to them. The television since its appearance has the power to normalize and regulate society imposing the mode of life and how they should act, think and dress. Starting this strand to analyze the influence of television on society, this work explores the current advertisements for children to check whether messages meets reality, or have an ideological conception of the world, focusing, besides consumerism, the relationship about the issue of gender of being male and being female

The society went through several transformations, especially technological. With the democratization of the Internet and social media, forms of relationships have turned up in between brand and consumer. Thus, marketing availed human characteristics in order to meet and interact with the consumer. So many print magazines have created profiles on Facebook and Twitter with the primary intent of disseminating original content and become a channel of dialogue with the reader. This research aims to reflect on the role of journalist as brand managers and social media acting as a magazine brand strength ening strategy. The research will examine the Todateen magazine, teen magazine focused on class C, and their profiles from Facebook and Twitter as a way to expand the relationship with the reader, to humanize the brand and strengthen the identity of the magazine. The methodologies used are exploratory and analytical to, first, discuss the issues: magazine journalism, media convergence, web journalism, social media, corporate communications, branding and marketing, and then analyze the Todateen case, describing the print media, the website, Twitter and Facebook

Com base numa experiência pessoal com a dança e leituras sobre butoh, o trabalho traça um paralelo entre o corpo na dança butoh e o corpo na educação, pensando como o corpo do educando é cerceado a ponto de não conseguir criar possibilidades de liberdade e resultando por isso numa indisciplina como grito de socorro. O primeiro meio de comunicação é o corpo, é nossa mídia mínima e é o primeiro a ser domesticado na escola e na sociedade. O trabalho busca caminhos pelo labirinto procurando como esse corpo poderia encontrar manifestações expressivas no meio da pressão e prisão em que é inserido na sociedade e, consequentemente, na escola, mostrando como exemplo os caminhos que o butoh criou como forma de resistência. Com apoio de Christine Greiner e Maura Baiocchi, procura decifrar como os dançarinos de butoh se manifestam contra esse meio opressor que impôs ao Japão uma cultura ocidental indo contra, rotulando e desrespeitando as nuances da cultura japonesa. Exercitando um butoh com as palavras, Clarice Lispector serve de inspiração à pesquisa, dando pinceladas que mostram quão profundo pode ser um movimento artístico quando se tem o corpo intenso e inteiro na criação, como ela tem. No trabalho, a autora revela o sonho de uma educação onde o corpo vivesse toda a experiência intensamente, recebendo suas marcas como um presente e não como uma cicatriz que dói. Com a ajuda do butoh, sonha uma escola que deixaria marcas a servirem como pistas para a criança encontrar seu próprio corpo

Seeking new ways to be used in the process of teaching and learning, he turned a look at alternative lines of research, going to value the arts in education, and inside, there has been a major focus of the relationship to both the theater and education. Currently, the theater has been the subject of research in education and has been also widely used as an educational resource, and its adoption by professionals is based on studies showing the contributions of the theater to child development. The theater, while playing, artistic expression and involves imagination, creation and sociability.This paper presents child development in all its phases, the importance of games, especially the symbolic games, during this process, through the perspective of Jean Piaget, a brief history of the theater within the education and the contributions actuallyits use as methodology of teaching and learning brings to children's development of the early years of elementary school, bringing the discussion as teachers' perception about the real possibility of its use in schools as a way of teaching and learning. É perceptivo para todos que o futebol feminino não tem o mesmo tratamento e espaço dentro da mídia como tem o esporte masculino, várias seriam as razões que explicam tal acontecimento como, por exemplo, o histórico do futebol em nosso país e a difícil inserção da mulher dentro deste esporte que é tratado como uma reserva exclusivamente masculina, constituindo-se em um espaço privilegiado de exercício de poder. Compondo este cenário, o futebol, juntamente com outros esportes, como lutas, rugby, pólo aquático tiveram sua prática permitida por lei para a mulher há apenas 30 anos atrás. A questão que move este estudo busca compreender se este pouco espaço que lhe é dado está sendo tratado de forma digna e não preconceituosa. Neste sentido, o estudo se justifica devido ao aparente preconceito ainda existente no Brasil que é considerado o país do futebol, mas que ainda não consegue inserir as mulheres de maneira efetiva dentro dessa cultura, o que mostra o predomínio de mitos historicamente construídos. Para compreender este cenário a pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o discurso midiático, expresso por meio da narração e comentários dos atores que realizam a cobertura televisiva do futebol feminino, sendo que, mais especificamente, esta análise está circunscrita à cobertura da Rede Bandeirantes de Televisão ao Campeonato Mundial de Futebol Feminino da FIFA 2007, realizado na China, no período de 10 a 30 de setembro. Foram analisados, de maneira preliminar, três jogos desta competição, sendo um deles (Brasil x Austrália) selecionado para uma análise mais pormenorizada. Com base no que foi assistido dos jogos foram encontrados três tipos de comentários, os que comparam o jogo feminino com o masculino, os que dão ênfase à beleza das jogadoras, e os que buscam incentivar o futebol feminino no país. The objective of this work is to compare how manifests the ideological positioning in the hegemonic media productions, according to Gramsci's conception, in relation to the radical alternative media, proposed by John Downing. The research has as opinionated content sample printed newspaper O Estado de s. Paulo, contrasting with the expressions of NON-PROFIT bauruense environmental “Instituto Ambiental Vidágua on the proposals of the new Brazilian forest Code. The analysis will hold in an interval between the adoption of the code by the Chamber of deputies in April 2012, and the provisional measure of President Dilma Rousseff with 32 modifications, after vetoing 12 articles proposed initially in may 2012. The present study had the intention to demonstrate how the language used by official sources of economy helps to keep the limitation and lack of accessibility of economic journalism to non-specialist readers. Over two weeks, we compared the disclosures in the economics editorial office of the site Universo Online and the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo to those cited in official reports. From this analysis of more than 50 issues selected for the sample, was observed how the technical language used by the official press makes more difficult the access to information and citizenship. Besides the comparison and description of the reports, the study involved the content analysis employed in the media. It was noted the presence of biased approaches and materials poorly cleared. The language used in many cases was not appropriate to the type of audience for which the news was heading. One of the most serious problems, perhaps, was the copy and paraphrase of press releases. The reports, most are limited to the specialist showed, contrary to the duty of public transparency, while highlighting the problems, the study also showed well-written texts that indicate a promising future for citizen and economic journalism

The goal of this study was to apprehend conceptualizations and professional experiences concerning child maltreatment as reported by physicians and nurses working for the Family Health Strategy implemented in a medium-sized city in São Paulo state. It is a descriptive qualitative study in which 20 professionals were included and semi-structured taped interviews were used. The data obtained were analyzed according to the Collective Subject Discourse and systematized into five themes: Conceptualizations of child maltreatment; Professional training to work in this field; Professional experiences related to such aggravations; Difficult and easy aspects faced during care provision to child maltreatment in the Family Health Strategy; Proposals to promote child safety. It was concluded that care provision to such aggravation types by family health units is configured as an important strategy to promote child safety and support families in relation to this issue. However, it was observed that, in order to qualify professionals for such care provision, it is necessary to invest in continuing education for the multiprofessional team. Also, municipal policies concerning care provision to child abuse, particularly in the organization of integrated work of the health care, education, social welfare and justice sectors must be urgently established by actively including the general society in such process

This study aimed at analyzing the meanings of Children and Child Rights awarded by the kindergarten children and their educators, parents and teacher. Interest in the subject arose from the participation of the University Extension Project, conducted at the Department of Education, UNESP, Bauru, called The Rights of the Child: ECA in school. Since then, the question arose: to what extent we have visibility of meanings that educators and the child has on the Rights of the Child relating to the specifics of childhood? The research followed the tenets of qualitative research, methodological procedures and adopting the observation in a classroom from kindergarten (K II), semi-structured interview through leisure moments, with the class of aged five years and a questionnaire for family and teacher. The research adopted as reference material, studies of the area of Sociology of Childhood, History of Childhood, Public Policy, Legislation Related to the theme, and an overview of psychogenic to talk about the morality of children. The results showed that parents and caregivers understand childhood as a stage of child development, marked by jokes and fancies, in which the family and the school has an important role in this process. In what concerns the children's rights, there are contradictions in the legal aspects and the situation of children today. The results showed that children's childhood is characterized by recreational activities, and adults are responsible for caring for them. And it comes on the Rights of the Child noted that there is a confusion between rights and duties because they are in a phase of moral heteronomy. The findings indicate the need for wide dissemination on the Statute of Children and Adolescents, especially in preschools in line with families to practice it a new look at childhood, conceiving children as subjects...
