Filmes de gelana e pectina reticuladas ionicamente para liberação colônica

O cólon tem sido explorado nas últimas décadas como sítio de liberação de fármacos. A goma gelana e a pectina são polissacarídeos hidrofílicos naturais promissores para a obtenção de sistemas de liberação cólon-específica de fármacos, uma vez que são degradados especificamente por enzimas produzidas pela microbiota deste órgão. Filmes poliméricos apresentam grande aplicação no revestimento de formas farmacêuticas sólidas e podem permitir o controle das taxas de liberação de fármacos e/ou seu direcionamento para um órgão específico. Além disso, modificações químicas como a reticulação iônica podem alterar propriedades físico-químicas como reduzir a hidrofilia do sistema. Neste trabalho foram obtidos e caracterizados filmes de goma gelana e pectina reticuladas ionicamente com cátion trivalente (Al3+). Os efeitos da concentração de polímeros, agente reticulante e plastificante (glicerol) utilizados na preparação das amostras foram avaliados a partir da caracterização das propriedades mecânicas, físicas e químicas dos filmes. A análise macroscópica revelou filmes flexíveis, homogêneos e translúcidos e a análise por microscopia eletrônica de varredura mostrou que a reticulação contribuiu para a formação de filmes com superfícies rugosas. Os baixos valores de transmissão de vapor d'água obtidos indicam a possibilidade de uma importante proteção contra a umidade. A absorção de líquido pH-dependente dos filmes foi demonstrada e a menor absorção de líquido em meio ácido deve garantir uma proteção da forma farmacêutica, quando em contato com o meio gástrico. Os filmes se mostraram bastante mucoadesivos, o que deve favorecer a retenção da forma farmacêutica no sítio alvo e as características mecânicas se mostraram favoráveis para a elaboração de filmes para revestimento de formas farmacêuticas sólidas

Mapeamento dos compartimentos de relevo do município de Estrela do Norte-SP e adjacências

The Geomorphology is to study the relevant object, which is the substrate where there are social relations, where society draws the natural resources for their survival and structure its immediate surroundings. In this context, the geomorphological map is currently considered as an important tool in landscape research. The landscapes of the city of Estrela do Norte-SP and surroundings consist mostly of geological substratum of sedimentary rock formations of Adamantina and Santo Anastácio (IPT, 1981a). Geomorphologically dominated by large reliefs of gently rolling hills tops and pedologicamente, the Oxisols and Ultisols Red-Yellow (Oliveira et al., 1999), which historically without proper management, formed a serious degradation of erosive framework in the study area. Thus, this study aimed to produce a map of the major compartments of the municipality Estrela do Norte-SP and surrounding areas, using techniques of digital stereoscopy. In relation to the procedures used in developing the mapping of geomorphological compartments, the main references were Tricart (1965) and Ross (1992). The short stories of Charles Nodier and Théophile Gautier, respectively “Une Heure ou La Vision” (1806) and “La Morte amoureuse” (1836), while showing elements originating from the Gothic novel, are structured as fantastic narratives, rousing the ambiguity from the themes of dreams and madness. This article tries to highlight the resonances of Gothic literature in the selected short stories, as well as the characteristics which determine the fantastic and define it as a new subgenre in the European Romanticism.

Entre Zola e Eça: o Naturalismo brasileiro em seu apogeu (1888)

Brazilian naturalism began in 1881 with the publication of O mulato by Aluísio Azevedo. In spite of the considerable Brazilian cultural dependence on France, the great European master of Brazilian naturalists was initially the Portuguese Eça de Queirós. His novel O primo Basílio resounded intensely in the intellectual environment of Rio de Janeiro, where it had found admirers and fierce critics like Machado de Assis. Only around 1888, when the French naturalist movement suffered serious defections, Brazilian novelists adopted Émile Zola’s esthetical proposals directly through the reading of the Rougon-Macquart cycle. In that year, O missionário by Inglês de Sousa, O cromo by Horácio de Carvalho, A carne by Júlio Ribeiro, Hortência by Marques de Carvalho, Uma família baiana by Xavier Marques, and Lar by Pardal Mallet were published. Nevertheless, it is relevant to consider which features of Zola’s and Eça’s works were incorporated in those works which established a flowering moment of Brazilian naturalism.

A educação em Direitos Humanos nos projetos político-pedagógicos das escolas de São Paulo

The article presents data from a qualitative study that aimed to investigate the presence of aspects that integrate knowledge, values and practice of the Human Rights Education (HRE) in the political-pedagogical projects (PPPs) of public schools in the state of São Paulo. 15 documents were analyzed from criteria based on reference documents for HRE in Brazil. The criteria were organized into seven areas: internal and external community; principles and concepts of education; goals; curriculum; democratic participation and school environment; teacher training and evaluation. We sought to identify whether the HRE related elements were missing, or if they were just mentioned or stood out through propositional planned actions in PPPs. The data demonstrate that the contents directly related to HRE are absent from PPPs, some issues related to this type of education are weakly mentioned and there are some planned actions that promote rights. However, the intentional, systematic and conscious planning of HRE is not yet reflected in this document type.
