Some esthetical particularities of Luiz Fernando Carvalho’s micro-series reveal, in the nineteenth century Brazil, the capacity of the literary and audiovisual discourse to represent some singularities of the Brazilian social life from the past, as well as pointing to existential problems of the class representative that leads the plot, instigating reflections in the present. The treatment offered to the class struggle by the Machadian narrative and by the Rede Globo’s adaptation, just as the way in which the existential drama is expounded, disclose a kind of reception among readers/viewers which is capable of reviewing the historical past in times that ask for such a revision, even though the television series bets on the non-conventional. Machado presented the tension between representation and truth (as well as between emotion production and reflection) with the transfiguration of the tragic pathos and the mobilization of the patriarchal figure to the melodramatic bias. Perusing the facts that mark the creation and reception of Vidas Secas (including the production of the movie by Nelson Pereira dos Santos in 1963), the present work is a preamble for analyses that take into account the coherence of Graciliano Ramos with the absorption of expressive resources used by American and European practitioners of a literature engaged in adjusting the expression of contrasts and in reformulating the so-called regionalism

Objetiva-se apresentar uma possibilidade de leitura da obra juvenil Pedro Pedra, de Gustavo Bernardo, na qual se considera o papel do leitor e do narrador. Para a consecução desse objetivo, pretende-se refletir, a partir das contribuições da estética da recepção, acerca do que propicia o prazer na leitura e quais elementos determinam o papel do leitor implícito e as disposições do narrador. Constrói-se, neste texto, a hipótese de que a estratégia do escritor de apresentar sua narrativa sob a forma de um romance de formação permite ao jovem leitor, também em fase de definição de sua personalidade, identificação com a temática.

A universidade no contexto internacional: o relações públicas como mediador intercultural no projeto Brasil de Todo Mundo

The following dissertation aims to propose an institutional and intercultural projecy of reception and integration of foreign students from academic mobility programs for the campus unit of Bauru. Such action is necessary because of the absence of a reception program of these students, the reception and integration into the social and cultural reality of the place in which they live is a fundamental part of international experience. As an example for this institutional proposal, we discuss the extension of project experience Brasil de Todo Mundo, which aims to deepen the reflections on the Brazilian cultural universe for foreign students who are in Brazil over a period, while taking academic mobility in the Universidade Estadual Paulista, Bauru campus. Student leadership project, Brasil de Todo Mundo emerged from the international experience in mobility programs offered by UNESP, from students of campus Bauru, when in the back of their experiences, they realized that they could continue being tourists your own country with the reception of foreign students. In addition, the identification of expectations in social and intercultural skills, in addition to reasons connected with the increase academic and language skills are a form of very strong approach, which helps in creating intercultural dialogue spaces between the students, the main objective of the project

Oclusão em prótese sobre implante - parte I

Osseointegrated implants have specific nature distinguish them from natural teeth making them more susceptible to the efforts generated by mastication. The absence of periodontal ligament, which absorbs the masticatory forces and allows the movement of the teeth interfere with the reception of occlusal loads and therefore the predictability of implants. In the boneimplant interface did not occur the phenomena of dissipation of impact, even the movement induced. Thus, during planning and installation of implant prosthesis, the type and characteristics of occlusal pattern adopted should be established with criteria to be no grounds for future failures. In this regard we highlight the occlusal overload generated by several reasons like the presence of premature contacts, interference during motion excursive, deleterious habits and inappropriate extensions on cantilevers. Thus, the objective is to provide a review of the literature regarding the importance of occlusion in oral rehabilitation with implants. Factors to be considered in establishing a favorable occlusion, consistent with prostheses on implants will be described

Uma descrição semiótica da metáfora no ensino de biologia: asserções sobre a célula animal

The main objective of this survey is describing signly the metaphor learning resource, with focus on biology education. Our teorical reference is the peircean semiotics, because it means solid heritage to code surveys implicated at science education, it led us to do an explanation about the main lines about that reference, addressed to researchers and lecturers interested in those reasonings. In the description yearned, another objectives appear: demonstrate diferences between metaphor/analogy and pragmatic analogy; to list metaphors, from cell representation analysis, and argue about principals diferences and probable cognitive consequences between the metaphor event in the visual representation and speech sentences. Therefore we analysed the animal cell of a high school first grade studying book – biology – cell biology – used by São Paulo and another state students. The findings demonstrate the undeniable importance of the metaphor as a learning tool in the biology education, and new findings about that, such as its limits in the concept elaboration, gnosiologic consequences for receptioning, the search needs for propositions– pictures between concept relations – in the science speech construction, and other results.

O design e o produto: parâmetros projetuais para o planejamento de jogos geométricos pré-escolares

Educational games are responsible for part of the information assimilated by the child, because these games respect the individual learning time, enabling experimentation and, consequently, being an accessory to retain the acquired knowledge spontaneously. However, the analogy between stimulus and reception/result is not always the expected. On the one hand, there are the pedagogues, bearing the knowledge necessary to the children’s development. On the other hand, are the children, who cannot completely assimilate the concept, commonly because of lack of planning on the product. After all, the children become not interested in the game, without developing the expected cognitive abilities planned for the product. Whereas the importance of the games on children’s development, this work aimed to analyze and select educational games presented on the preschool, based on the language exploration from the Design’s knowledge and skills. Specifically, the research intends to investigate games targeted to stimulate geometric concepts, and so, to describe parameters that must be observed during the product planning.

O papel das emissoras educativas no Brasil em tempo de eleições

The concept of educational radio is present in the Brazilian Code of Broadcasting in 1963, valued by an Interministerial 1999.According to the Ministry of Communications, only 176 stations are considered educational universe of 3,000 existing radios in Brazil. In this context, the study proposes to establish a discussion on the educational experiences obtained from the radio, considering the Brazilian radio culture that favors concessions to trade groups and religious politicians. The challenge will be to move toward a program that combines educational content, entertainment, and thus ensures a common universe of communication skills enabling the adult radio listeners their actual interaction with the world around him. The methodology will work in the literature from texts on the subject, and the result of practical observations collected during visits to the broadcasters, programming and analysis.

A liberdade de imprensa vista pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal: análise da ADPF n. 130

The present study aims to present and analyze the ruling of the Brazilian Supreme Court in ADPF 130 (Concentrated constitutional review action, Fundamental Precept Infringement, Argüição de Descumprimento de Preceito Fundamental), proposed by Partido Democrático Trabalhista (PDT), which contests the compatibility of statute 5.250/67 with the Federal Constitution of 1988. This work considers that the judicial ruling is different than the approach taken by the Legislative and Executive powers, arguing that there is, in the Judiciary, a peculiar way for ruling, surrounded by mysteries, rites, secrets, pomp and circunstances unintelligible to layman. To reach the proposed goal, Justice Carlos Brito´s report and opinion on ADPF 130 are analyzed. The choice of giving special attention to this opinion, which favors the declaration of unconstitutionality of the 5.250/67 statute, is justified in that it represents agreement with the allegation of disrespect to the constitutional text, as suggested by the Partido Democrático Trabalhista. The arguments put forth by the presiding Justice on his ruling will also be the object of consideration, as well as some possible consequences of the ruling.

The text by Ana Maria Machado - Point to point - and the topic of a meeting at the University of Brasilia - READ: reading, teaching and reception - intertextualized in the act of reading are sufficiently provocative. Then, from them can emerge a form of ripping, as with a scalpel in a sheet of blank paper and drawing with the word. In this way of thinking, we may write our text, beginning by quoting an essay of Glawinski (1977), in which the author says that literary criticism has only recently become interested in reading, either as an object of reflection, or as a descriptive tool.
