This research aims to present the Ethnomathematics Program, created by D'Ambrosio (1984), as a proposal for the teaching of mathematics, making it contextualized, meaningful and a program able to form critical and creative citizens, capable of transform reality. By presenting from Ethnomathematics perspective the conception of the activities, scholar curriculum and current evaluation system, a possibility of innovation on nowadays education system is opened, a system that is characterized by D'Ambrosio as obsolete. For the implementation of this proposal, a change on the teacher's attitude appears as necessary, a new attitude that makes active interferences during the learning process, and uses previous knowledge acquired by the student throughout their experiences as a starting point on teaching process. The approach between Ethnomathematics perspective and Mathematics Program provides a better opportunity for the students to construct mathematical knowledge. It is important to emphasize that the Ethnomathematics is as an interdisciplinary as a transdisciplinary program, which means that the Program is not restricted just for education and development of mathematics

This course conclusion paper has as its theme the critical analysis of the Educational Policy Continued Progression. At this juncture when much is produced on specific themes of interest in continued progression in the reflection on the consequences of implementing this policy in organizing the work of teachers an their autonomy, seeking to contribute to public policy debates.The problematization that will undertake this work wonders if the policy continued progression is, in fact, a government strategy to remove the teacher control over their work and contribute to the process of alienation and loss of autonomy of a schoolteacher. This policy was implemented in the State of São Paulo, during the administration of Mario Covas of the Brazilian Social Democratic Party, PSDB, from 1995 to 2001, managing secretary Theresa Roserley Neubauer da Silva

O ensino básico elementar e complementar é um elemento primordial para o desenvolvimento humano (aluno) e é a fonte da sabedoria e da ampliação do conhecimento científico. Para desenvolvimento e crescimento populacional de um país é fundamental o investimento, ou ampliação da rede educacional. A falta do número suficiente das escolas e professores nos últimos anos tem sido a maior preocupação dos alunos e também do Ministério da Educação Nacional em Bissau, mas com a falta das condições financeiras e da coordenadoria dos projetos educacionais o País acaba de abarcar tais situações. A procura do ensino básico elementar e complementar (liceu) no interior do País foi e ainda é até hoje, uma das causas do êxodo rural. Antigamente o enquadramento dos filhos dos agricultores na escola era visto para os pais como o abandono da família principalmente nos trabalhos domésticos e do campo/lavora; devido a falta das escolas eles são obrigados de abandonar regiões deles a fim de procurar as escolas, ou seja, escola que atende os seus níveis escolares, mas hoje em dia com mentalidade diferente em relação ao passado todas as pessoas querem adquirir ensino, ou seja, a formação educacional. Com as experiências vividas ao longo do período em Guiné-Bissau nos últimos anos, a rede de ensino não cresce proporcionalmente em relação ao crescimento populacional, muitas das vezes as suas ampliações sempre foram feitas através de uma forma provisória e desconfortável aos seus usuários. Então a idéia da criação de um novo complexo, ou projeto do Edifício Escolar para a República da Guiné-Bissau ajudará futuramente para o desenvolvimento do País, isto é, se for implantados em Bissau e multiplicados no interior da Guiné-Bissau. Health education presently experiences the incorporation of information technology, thus making access to information more practical and attainable. The initiatives to make health care scientific content available virtually have shown to be useful for teaching, health care professionals and the general population. A website, however, must be constantly managed. To promote the dissemination of the website at www.educacaoemsaude.fmb.unesp.br among faculty members and undergraduate nursing students and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) - ETE, by evaluating, among them, its graphic and functional aspects and seeking suggestions for its improvement. This is a descriptive quantitative study for which the participants were asked to fill out an instrument designed for the study. The evaluation was performed among nursing faculty members and students at Univ Estadual Paulista Júlio Mesquita Filho – UNESP and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) – ETEC in the city of Botucatu. The number of participants totaled 88 individuals, of whom 23 were undergraduate students, 62 were students at ETEC, and 3 were faculty members. Eighty-one were females, and 7 were males. The participants’ age ranged from 17 to 56 years. Among the items that evaluated the website, the answers prevailed from “very good” to “good”. When the participants were asked what they had thought about the website, the answers were mostly positive, and the most frequently description given was “interesting”. Among the facilities, the most frequently reported was “easily understood content”, and as regards difficulties, handling the website was the most often mentioned. This study aims at enhancing the understanding of the educational criticism in the beginning of the twentieth century, focusing on the ideas of Lima Barreto. Before the emergence of the "educational professionals", educational thought was developed by publicists and writers involved in a fertile debate, the results of which became visible in literary and journalistic production. Through the analysis of articles, short texts published in the press, novels and short stories written by Lima Barreto, it’s possible to gather a specific concept of education, underlying his criticism and fictional characterization of school education, as well as an interesting sketch of the cultural profile of Brazilian society at the time. Either explicitly or implicitly, in their evaluative and theoretical references, the limits of the critical readings of the author, which are expressed in the contradiction between negation of the given conditions and their affirmation, unveil the historical aspects of social and educational thinking and criticism.

It was investigated how the conceptions of PT for the educational area defended in national meetings of the party have configured as policies in the City Hall of São Paulo during 1989-1992. It was made an analysis of official documents and measures adopted by the Municipal Education Secretariat. Then, it could be concluded that the priorities of implementation of the PT proposal entitled popular public school were based on four categories: Democratization of Management; New Quality of Teaching; Movement of Adult and Youth Literacy (MOVA) and Democratization Access.

Neste trabalho, analiso aspectos da constituição e do uso do juntor que nem, em dados da modalidade de enunciação falada do português. A questão maior é mostrar que a inserção de que nem no paradigma dos juntores, por meio de processos de gramaticalização, resulta em quatro novos padrões funcionais, que refletem uma rede de parentesco semântico no domínio das relações modais. As construções com que nem são descritas a partir do pareamento entre forma e significado, com o propósito de defender que arquiteturas sintáticas diferenciadas contribuem para a interpretação da polifuncionalidade semântica de que nem; e que as fontes sincrônicas do português ajudam a desvendar etapas do processo de reanálise de que e nem, tendo em vista as tendências diacrônicas sobre mudança de juntores nas línguas (Kortmann, 1997).

The objective of this paper is to reflect on the theoretical and methodological status of oral and written data as a source for investigating linguistic change phenomena. The per - spective we adopt here distances itself from a compartmentalized conception of oral and writ - ten texts writing since it is more closely associated with the writers’ relationship with historically and socially established practices of orality and literacy. We conducted an assessment of some of the specialized literature in order to gather arguments to defend the coexistence of written and oral enunciations, understood not as a form of interference, but as a constitutive blend, which, given its hybrid nature, enables the occurrence of the vernacular data, a locus of change also present in written records.

The comparison between linguistic change and biologic evolution is a subject that has caused and still causes much controversy among linguists and other academics that see, in this parallel, problems related to similar attempts in the nineteenth century by Social Darwinism, which approached the biological evolution with social and cultural development of a people. However, this paper aims to show that today this parallel is not built in the same way as was done before. Names like William Labov, Salikoko Mufwene, Jonathan West and Hildo Honorio do Couto in linguistics; Charles Darwin in biology; and Tom Ingold and Clifford Geertz in anthropology, showed that areas of Humanities, such as linguistics and anthropology, and of Biological Sciences, as phylogeny and genetics, are likely to be worked together by the great similarities between processes that compose them. Thus, based on the writings of these authors and some others, this paper presents this theme’s controversy; it shows the similarities between characteristics of languages and species; it seeks through the concepts MA Mental, MA Social and MA Natural of the languages (coined by Couto on Linguística, ecologia e ecolinguística: contato de línguas) to develop ideas of how it is possible to think the language change in the light of Darwin's concept, Natural Selection; and finally, it shows that the parallel theme is rather productive, based on the texts and discussions presented in the whole paper, and that the controversy has been being dissolved with more and more people working on the parallel between language and species
