The diary - considered here as a writing instrument that allows reflection of who reads and who writes - was chosen as a didactc and pedagogical, to follow the trajectory of the writing of the research subjects, which are 30 children, two groups of participants school support, offered by the ONG Núcleo Artevida, and have between 06 and 14 years of age. These children are also attending meetings of the municipal schools of the city of Rio Claro-SP, and in general, have difficulties especially in activities involving the practices of reading and writing. By the writing of the diaries, pretend to, beyond to follow the trajectory of the writing of these children, attend to theirs writing production – on the diaries - attending to what they say about the act of writing. The open pages of each book are invitations to readings, to possible readings. These readings indicate possible dialogical relations and dialogues, and indicated widespread practice of writing. Note that the written diaries is diferente of the school writing, because it doesn't carry the obligation of school tasks, and doesn't require forms, rules and pre-set styles.

This study aims to analyze the intermunicipal collective transportation in The State of São Paulo, according to the relation of lines per permittee company of June/2002 and June/2012. We worked on the suburban and road bus lines. After analyzing the data, we seek to know how was the evolution of these lines in the State of São Paulo, the regions in which these lines were more developed and the groups that monopolize increasingly the intermunicipal collective transportation. It was made a list of some variables that enabled a comparison with the road system and we also showed the considerable increase of the suburban lines, which became more common as time goes by to compete against the clandestine transportation

Por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, a prefeitura do município de Botucatu implantou, em 2005, um de seus mais importantes projetos de educação complementar, a Escola do Meio Ambiente (EMA). Desde a sua fundação, a EMA tem por objetivo desenvolver e apoiar práticas pedagógicas e pesquisas, que visam à conscientização e responsabilidade socioambiental. Dentre suas diversas atividades, está a Trilha Interpretativa do Patrimônio Histórico, voltada, principalmente, para o 1º e o 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental. O caminho interpretado resgata a cidadania, proporcionando ao aluno recuperar as memórias históricas da cidade, reafirmar a sua identidade e consequentemente, buscar a sua valorização pessoal e social. A história do município começa a sair de um misterioso e velho baú. O momento possibilita abrir espaço para a arte da narrativa. Um cocar fala da cultura indígena, um chapéu de palha, nos leva à época dos tropeiros e um mapa de feltro exemplifica o processo de imigração. Ao término da vivência, os educandos saem à rua, para conhecer, em detalhes, os prédios que ajudaram a construir a nossa história. Através dos métodos de avaliação, utilizados nesses três anos, anotações sobre as observações feitas em trilhas e questionários respondidos pelos professores, pudemos constatar que os alunos sabem muito pouco sobre a cidade e que possuem dificuldade de relacionar fatos históricos com a sua própria existência e com as mudanças que promovem no meio. Observou-se que além de tratar com descaso os prédios históricos, os alunos não conseguem citar dados sobre a fauna e a flora local. O mais preocupante é o fato de que para eles, a cidade não representa o meio ambiente. Logo, ficou clara a necessidade de se produzir um material de apoio que tivesse por objetivo preencher estas... Considerando os conceitos de senciência e bem-estar animal, os testes de escolha e preferência são das alternativas interessantes para se discutir o bem-estar em peixes. Assim, avaliamos a escolha da tilápia-do-Nilo (Oreochromis niloticus) em manter-se em isolamento ou próxima a coespecíficos não-familiares de diferentes tamanhos (menores, similares ou maiores que o peixe-foco). O tamanho foi estudado por ser um fator determinante da dominância. Admitindo que o grau de atenção dos indivíduos possa ter flutuação circadiana, testamos também se o período do dia (manhã e tarde) afeta essa escolha. A escolha foi determinada pela maior freqüência do animal junto ao respectivo estímulo. Nesse estudo vimos que a tilápia-do-Nilo apresenta dois perfis de escolha: “decididos”, onde os animais escolhem uma posição em número significativamente maior de vezes; e os “indecisos”, que escolhem igualmente no mínimo duas opções de estímulos. No período da manhã há maior proporção de animais “decididos” do que à tarde. Portanto, embora não tenhamos detectado uma nítida escolha por tamanho de coespecífico o período do dia influenciou o número de indivíduos em cada um dos perfis. Assim, concluímos que a tomada de decisão na tilápia-do-Nilo varia em função do período do dia

What is the relationship of a pacifier as for nutrition, speech, dental and psychotherapy? What are its benefits and harm? Which strategies should be developed as a teaching material which can guide employees and teachers of early childhood education regarding the use of pacifier in schools? The survey is a qualitative and an exploratory one. By taking literature as a starting point. We found out that there are many doubts regarding the use of pacifier, even among health professionals. The booklet was prepared containing topics such as: social and historical aspects; psycho-physiological aspects of development, speech therapy and dental aspects; pros and cons of using a pacifier; teaching materials on the pedagogical use of pacifiers. This paper analyzes the accessibility of the elderly population in relation to urban transportation in the city of Rio Claro - SP. After a study of the physiology, infrastructure, history and legislation of the city, there were collected and analyzed data obtained through semi-structured interviews with the elderly population that makes use of public transport with the aim of identifying the user's profile as well as their impressions and criticism of the service. The Department of Transport and Urban Mobility of Rio Claro provided general information related to public transport in the city. After all the survey, it can be seen that, although a significant portion of the elderly population make use of public transport, there are problems related to the structure of the city, which hinders the movement of buses, and the accessibility of the elderly, caused by physical characteristics of the vehicles, attitude of the motorists and aspects of public administration of the town. These data support the conclusion that there is often a disregard for the rights of the elderly and that it not only should as it can be corrected

The process of urbanization that happened in Brazil during the twentieth century led to processes of structuring and re-organization of space, besides the emergence of many urban problems. Industrialization and urbanization are some of the main causes that could be cited as consequences of this process. As a result of the steep rise of cities, the transport systems became fundamental in boosting flows (immaterial) and the mobility of people and stuff (materials) in the territory. The urban model created for the city of São Paulo in the 1930s was repeated over the years in the medium-sized cities, being repeated the same problems that occurred in the metropolis. In this context our work fits in analyzing the changes occurring in the urban area of São José do Rio Preto - SP, from his relationship with the public transportation system in the face of intra-urban spatial configuration of the city. Transport, while it is recognized by authors as being really important for the analysis and intra-urban spatial configuration, has been little analyzed as the object of study by a geographer, and so, our work has more value

This study aimed to analyze the process of developing and implementing a politicalpedagogical project for rural schools in the city of Araraquara, focusing on one of the schools served. This is an ethnographic qualitative study. The instruments of data collection were participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis. It was observed are a change in the community organization throughout the process, with regard to a more active attitude on the part of its members, who have pursued other means to claim the fulfillment of their demands by the Government and relevant institutions, which points to the pedagogical character of participation in the movement to fight for the education they desire. It was also noticed a process of re-signification by the subjects, of their own community identity while seated in an agrarian reform project, as well as a more effective participation of those in everyday life and school organization. It was also observed changes in indicators of school, with an increase in the achievement of students as well as reducing the dropout rate to zero, and the reduction of absenteeism of teachers.

This study aims to analyze the possibilities of integration of new information and communication technologies (ICT) in teaching and learning in a school of public elementary school Municipal Araraquara. This is a survey based on a qualitative approach, which has a strategy Case Study. Made an analysis of the Curriculum Guidelines and Policy Project (PPP) school selected, in order to check how the school addresses the issue of the use of new technologies in the educational process. For the analysis of the Curriculum Guidelines and Educational Policy Project found that the school has studied a concern to make use of ICT in teaching and learning, featuring an awareness of the importance of technology in education, but does not describe ways to integrate curricularmente them. The integration of new technologies into the curriculum requires a systematic reflection about their goals, their technical and content chosen. Not only is working with new technologies aimed at digital inclusion of students, but we need to integrate the school into their curricular, integrate them into the process of teaching and learning. Today ICT configure themselves into a new form of language, essential for knowledge representation and, if so, their presence in the school curriculum is crucial.

Environmental education (EE), a critical component to face the environmental crisis, must be present in formal education in a continuous, permanent and transversal way. Studies show, however, that EE occurs, often, in a sporadic and discontinuous way, and that it is mainly linked to Sciences. The objective of this study was to investigate the inclusion of environmental subjects in the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) of a rural school, in Araraquara, SP. Through documentary analysis of the PPP, proposals for the Environmental Education for the last years of elementary education were examined. The results allowed the understanding, in a complex and contextualized way, of aspects related to the presence of environmental subjects in the school curriculum. They reveal that the suggestion of working with Environment attend the recommendations of the conference of Tbilisi and of Brazilian National Curriculum (PCN).

This paper presents the perceptions of participating teachers and technicians who produced and ministered courses in the Project of Continuing Education of teachers of Amapá State, called Pedagogical Encounter of Municipalities and is based on research results of the Master Degree in Education that was aimed to analyze and describe the referred project as well as studying the impact that it had on educational context of the municipalities. It was conducted a study of the Project’s trajectory including its theoretical basics, implementation and, mainly, a number of Project’s results. The methodology consisted of acquiring and analyzing official papers and interviewing 14 teachers and technicians. The statements obtained make it clear that the Pedagogical Encounter had a major impact on the educational reality of the municipalities, with more positive than negative results not only for teachers but also for instructors and coordinators. The statements can also be concluded that the continuing education actions will not achieve its objectives if they are not accompanied by public policies direct to improve living and job conditions of the teachers.
