Athletics in most of its history, turned to competition, giving it little pedagogical knowledge, prevailing knowledge grounded in records, indexes and competitions. Thus, although it is considered a classic content of Physical Education, this modality is still not widespread in schools. The present study aimed to investigate possible progress in the teaching and learning of athletics in the State Schools of Bauru from the implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for Teaching Physical Education. We attempted to checking the perspective of teachers and students, the changes in teaching and learning as well as difficulties encountered from the deployment. To that end, we conducted survey of the theoretical and practical alternatives developed by Physical Education teachers, about athletics theme, since the implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for the Teaching of Physical Education in 2008, in seven (7) state schools in Bauru-Sao Paulo, randomly chosen, prioritizing different regions of the county. There was the purpose of investigating, through questionnaires, interviews (applied to teachers and students), what progress has been achieved with regard to the approach of collegiate athletics in the teaching/learning process, if there are difficulties, what are these and how they could be addressed in order to improve teaching and learning in school athletics. The collected data were analyzed comparatively, before and after implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for Physical Education, gathering and specifying negative and/or positive aspects raised by teachers and students. It was concluded that the students' knowledge of the sport has increased, but the practice of sport is still far from being normal to them, doing so is necessary to include content from the earliest school years. Estudo da fadiga em liga de alumínio aeronáutico 7475-T761

This work will address the study of fatigue conditions with constant load in an alloy of aluminum analysis 7475 - T761, so we can better understand the conditions of the aircrafts which contain this alloy in their structures. A literature review, which was discussed the concepts of fracture mechanics, fatigue, aeronautical components, chemical analysis of aluminum alloys, fatigue problems that appears in the aircrafts, metallographic analysis, and testing of optical microscopy tensile, fatigue and microhardness, surface analysis (MEV) study of the chemical composition of the alloy in question, the main causes of crashes, was performed, completing the work, analysis of data from tensile test, hardness and fatigue together with the interpretation of images of optical microscopy and scanning electron was taken. The data indicated the high mechanical strength of the alloy, along with its microstructure indicating elongated grains and high surface contour, which shows such resistance by hindering the movement of dislocations. The grooves are clearly shown in the MEV images as well as the classic with increased fatigue loading and subsequent reduction of the number of cycles to rupture behavior shown in the graphs. Therefore we observed the optimal behavior is supported by the league when subjected to fatigue loadings

O tratamento do câncer por radioterapia tem como objetivo a eliminação das células cancerígenas ou alívio dos sintomas. Otimização da síntese para obtenção de Lapdesf ibu-tau e ibu-ftd e ensaio de toxicidade pré-clínica dose única (aguda) e doses repetidas em camundongos

A inflamação é basicamente uma resposta de proteção tissular cuja função é proteger o organismo de micro-organismos e toxinas que promovem a lesão celular. A resposta inflamatória gera o aparecimento dos quatro sinais cardinais dor, edema, calor e rubor podendo posteriormente ocorrer a perda de função do tecido ou órgão. Os anti-inflamatórios não esteroides (AINEs) promovem sua atividade alterando a atividade de prostaglandinas (PGs), por inibição das isoformas de ciclo-oxigenases constitutivas (COX1) e induzidas (COX2). A inibição não seletiva destas enzimas (por AINEs clássicos) gera reações adversas graves, como as reações gastrointestinais, em pacientes pré-dispostos e/ou que as utilizam por um período prolongado. Os AINEs de segunda geração (inibidores seletivos de COX2), também se mostraram tóxicos, podendo causar alterações cardiovasculares. Neste sentido, o planejamento de novos compostos com atividade anti-inflamatória e destituídos de toxicidade ainda é um desafio para a química farmacêutica e medicinal. Dois derivados de ibuprofeno (AINE clássico) foram obtidos anteriormente no Lapdesf por Castro (2008) e Vizioli (2006), demonstrando atividade anti-inflamatória em modelo de inflamação aguda (edema de pata) e crônica (colite ulcerativa), destituídos de gastroulceração (VIZIOLI, 2009). Diante destes resultados o presente estudo visou à preparação dos compostos e o estudo pré-clínico de toxicidade em dose única (aguda) e em doses repetidas em camundongos, bem como as análises comportamentais, histopatológicas dos órgãos e ensaios bioquímicos. Os achados comportamentais, bioquímicos e histopatológicos permitem concluir que não foi observada toxicidade nos modelos estudados, exceto para o grupo de administração dose única de 2000 mg/kg via intraperitoneal do composto Lapdesf ibu-tau.

Hipertonicidade muscular e confecção de próteses totais pela técnica da zona neutra: relato de caso clínico

Introduction: the oral rehabilitation in edentulous patients using removable complete dentures is a classic treatment, easily accessible, and presenting satisfactory results. However, to succeed in this type of treatment, stability is an extremely important factor. The neutral zone technique for the production of complete dentures determines the oral cavity space for the positioning of teeth and denture base that provide a neutralization of the forces delivered by lips, cheeks, and tongue, providing better stability and retention of prostheses, which is indicated in cases with history of difficulties in adapting the conventional mandibular denture. Objective and case report: this paper aimed to describe a clinical case report of the oral rehabilitation of a patient with paraprosthetic muscles hypertonicity through removable complete dentures produced by the neutral zone technique, using condensation silicone. Final considerations: the use of condensation silicone for the development of the neutral zone technique showed to be a good alternative for the development of this clinical case, providing satisfactory stability and retention of the complete mandibular denture.

Desencantamento do mundo e ética na ação pedagógica: reflexões a partir de Max Weber

This article has a theoretical character and presents some of Weber's ideas, with emphasis on those that can supply elements to reflect on the current state of education, more particularly based on his understanding of modernity. Disenchantment of the world is the key concept in his sociology, and is taken as the basis for a reflection about the meaning that science and the teacher can have today. A classic author, Weber's interpretation of the modern world brings to our consideration a variety of themes that influence markedly the thinking and practice of contemporary culture by its concern with understanding human actions and values. By studying the Western process of rationalization, he initiates debates in science, in ethics and, correspondingly, in education, allowing us to expand our comprehension of the meaning, significance, and role of our actions towards knowledge and teaching. The main object of education is to offer students contents that stimulate the freedom of thought. For that, the teacher needs to adopt a non-partisan ethics in the classroom, presenting contents unbiased by her/his political opinions and, if failing to do so, having the honesty to explain what she/he is doing. It is therefore of the utmost importance that the teacher should keep a neutral position, so that in and out of the classroom the students may reflect and question what they see, experiment and decide upon. Only then the conduct of the teacher will be consistent with the process of rationalization of our culture.

Este estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar os vários leitores presentes no clássico Pinóquio do escritor italiano Collodi. Do leitor que apenas consegue aprender o código da escrita e a sintaxe que comanda esse código, ou no dizer de Manguel (2009,p.41) - o processo mecânico de aprender o código da escrita na qual está codificada a memória de uma sociedade - ao leitor que consegue entender sua identidade e a sociedade que o cerca, ou também no dizer de Manguel (2009,p.41) - o aprendizado de como as inscrições nesse código servem para conhecer de maneira profunda, imaginativa e prática nossa identidade e a do mundo que nos cerca, onde encaixar o tipo de leitor que Collodi cria para seu personagem?. É válido, ainda, indagar quais são os outros leitores na obra Pinóquio e o que representariam? Tecer a leitura e a releitura de uma obra permite essas reflexões sobre a educação e o processo humanizador da literatura (Cândido,1989,p.112), proporcionando assim uma viagem de introspecção (auto-conhecimento),e a exploração e leitura do mundo, fatores estes fundamentais na formação da subjetividade e da autonomia de pensamento do sujeito
