Aqui mostramos que lebistes percebem modificações estruturais ambientais, mas que reagem a elas diferentemente quanto ao sexo. Vimos também que essas reações associam-se aos traços de personalidade de ousadia e hesitação. Os machos se locomoveram mais que as fêmeas e interagiram mais com objetos familiares. Porém, a introdução de objeto novo aumentou a interação das fêmeas com os objetos familiares. Além disso, machos e fêmeas interagiram mais com objeto familiar estruturalmente mais complexo comparado ao mais simples. No conjunto, esses dados indicam um perfil mais ousado dos machos e um perfil hesitante das fêmeas. Em todos os casos, as diferentes respostas de machos e fêmeas foram explicadas num contexto evolutivo adaptativo

The oil market is not a common market, and its complexity increases dramatically when considering the strategic and geopolitical involved, thus resulting in large uncertainties and concerns. The attempt to control prices has always been a challenge for the major world powers, since the increase in oil prices benefits the exporting countries, but harms importers, especially those regarded as less developed. Understand and try to predict some strategies adopted up the oil crises is one of the main points of the research, in order to demonstrate how economics can be used as an instrument of power and domination between nations, and how plans and strategies and rearrangements of supply and demand favor the growth of this economy, especially in the current period, with the new Brazilian oil era, beginning with the discovery of pre-salt, amid a context of growing need for the use of oil and its derivatives

This research aimed to analyze the spatial area for the design of the Heat Island of Subprefecture Sé, in São Paulo-SP, with the support of geotecnology and based on the study of environmental perception. We used remote sensing products such as maps ofland use and soil temperature and apparent surface to evaluate the thermal conditions considered critical points in the central area of the municipality. The methodology used was qualitative analysis, based on interviews with the people, allowing rescue geoecology the conditioning aspects of the city, with an emphasis on environmental perception. This study aimed toanalyze the perception of the variation of the thermal field in São Paulo. The results indicated that (95%) of respondents feel that the temperature of the central area has increased each year, and the district that stood out was the Sé, due to intense use and occupation of land and contribute one of the largest shopping centers. Districts with points given for having better thermal comfort were Santa Cecília, the República and Bela Vista, due to their larger amount of green areas by fiscal court, which act as local refrigerators. It was found that the respondents have the perception and awareness of their spa directly related to the quality of life. Through analysis of several variables involved, proposals and strategies may support public policies and urban planning

Com base nos estudos sociolingüísticos e nos processos de formação de palavras através da sufixação, este estudo analisa algumas formações de palavras a partir dos sufixos -ADA, -ARADA e -AIADA. A pesquisa volta-se para as construções que indicam “grande quantidade”. Pretende-se relacionar o uso destes sufixos com o grau de escolaridade do falante e o contexto de uso, para, na medida do possível, analisar se estes dois fatores podem influenciar um maior ou menor uso destas palavras. Para isso utilizou-se dados provenientes da internet, assim como os resultados de dois testes de percepção aplicados em alguns colaboradores de graus de escolaridade distintos. A partir da análise dos dados obtidos na internet e nos testes, constatou-se que os sufixos -ADA, -ARADA e -AIADA, principalmente estes, estão sendo usado amplamente em conversações mais informais, sendo que nos testes, os colaboradores com maior nível de escolaridade foram os que se mostraram mais conservadores em relação às construções. Para alguns dos entrevistados, o uso das palavras formadas com os sufixos em estudo deve ser restrito a situações bastante informais, sendo “inadequado” seu uso numa situação formal

This study aimed to gather information about the social and linguistic reality of students 1. years of elementary school and community that came, in order to identify aspects of their lexical phonological levels, morphological and morphosyntactic and thus identify and describe the alternative variants of non-standard rule. The methodology chosen was that of variational sociolinguistics addressing quantitative and qualitative aspects in the treatment of the data collected through participant observation and audio recordings of speeches of the students. The results indicate that the level of phonological variants are the most frequent in the speech of students. Because the literacy phase, how the student speaks serves you a guide to the act of writing, so it is necessary to work with the students the difference between oral and written form and monitoring of these two modes according to the context of the discourse

The process of sanding wood is little known and industries use it in a practical way without having studied their best conditions before. There are few studies involving this type of machining. On this basis, this paper studied the effects of varying moisture content of the wood surface quality after the sanding process. It was used a sanding machine with flat horizontal cut parallel to the fibers, using: 02 different species (Pinus elliottii and Corymbia citriodora); 01 sanding abrasive (aluminum oxide) and 03 different particle size abrasives ( P80 , P100 and P120 ) . Initially, the pieces were acclimatized ( 2 ± 7% , 12% and 17% ± 2 ± 2 ) and subsequently passed by the sanding process, and therefore, the surface roughness was analyzed. For each condition, were performed 06 repetitions totaling 54 trials for each species. We analyzed the effects of wood moisture by capturing the power sanding, rougheness, acoustic emission and maximum temperature during the sanding process. The variation of moisture content produced changes in the surface quality of the finished parts, and these changes were more marked in Pinus than Corymbia. During the sanding process of the specimens with 7 % and 12 % humidity, there was a lower noise emission, power consumption and heating surface. When checking the roughness of these parts after this process, it was observed that the surface quality of them were superior in the parts sanded containing 17 % moisture

With the new computational technology, the studies of acoustic phonetics started to have a special place. This brought a new way of seeing the phenomenon and to deal with it in the phonetics and in the phonology. Such studies have been developing even more, recently, with a facilitated use of computational programs specially developed to the acoustic analysis of speech, such as PRAAT. Programs like this have been very interesting and useful recently. The acoustic models of analysis have influenced the way the researchers came to see and to interpret the prosodic phenomenon. The current project investigates the acoustic production of declarative and interrogative sentences from the “paulista” Portuguese. This study contributes for a more detailed description of the phenomenon, also becoming inserted in the chart of “intonational” descriptions of the Brazilian Portuguese. The subject of this current project is the acoustic study of some intonation aspects from the speaking Portuguese in Brazil, with a special place to the “paulista” dialect. The current project´s purpose is to make a specific study of interrogatives sentences through the acoustic data analysis of “paulista” dialect speakers

O anuro Hypsiboas bischoffi é endêmico do sul e sudeste do Brasil, ocorrendo em áreas de montanha e submontanha da Mata Atlântica. Este trabalho estuda a variação geográfica de traços morfológicos em Hypsiboas bischoffi, através da análise da distribuição de duas formas distintas de padrão de coloração (forma listrada e não listrada), a fim de examinar a hipótese de que o padrão de coloração é polimórfico dentro das populações. Adicionalmente, nós descrevemos a variação em diversos traços morfométricos e examinamos sua associação com o padrão de coloração e com gradientes ambientais em toda a distribuição da espécie. Nossos resultados revelam que as duas formas de padrão de coloração são parapátricas, com as formas listradas e não listradas ocorrendo ao norte e ao sul da distribuição da espécie, respectivamente. As duas formas não foram observadas em coocorrência, mas indivíduos não listrados apresentaram padrões um tanto intermediários em localidades próximas à suposta zona de contato entre as duas formas. Análises multivariadas de variação morfométrica mostraram que a variação no tamanho do corpo explica a maior parte da variação observada, mas nem o tamanho do corpo, nem variações morfométricas adicionais estariam associadas com o padrão de coloração ou distância geográfica entre populações. No entanto, o tamanho do corpo parece estar associado com níveis locais de precipitação no verão. O padrão de diferenciação geográfica em H. bischoffi é concordante com padrões observados em alguns poucos organismos estudados, codistribuídos na Mata Atlântica.

This Work focuses the importance of children‟s literature with the insertion of authors‟ like Aesopo, La Fontaine and Monteiro Lobato in the early years of elementary school, so that children could develop their reading that could bring reflections about the use of the language. It entends to show that books can give kids maturity to notice that when it comes to language there‟s not righ or wrong, but contexts that they should fit, in so that they can communicate and decrease the language prejudice. The authors studied in this study are the ones who study the language, the importance of children‟s literature and language prejudice at schools. This work was done through quantitative and qualitative approach, divided into 2 parts, observation and interventions, the research could be in touch with the observed class and get information about the students. Later the researcher could act by telling stories and get data. A third-grade class in a public school in the year of 2010, was observed during the internship in the early years of elementary school compared to another fourth grade class of another public school. The results and analisis oh the data show kids‟ lack of contact with an appropriate children‟s literature, like the fables which are short tales with moral and romance like Emília no País da Gramática by Monteiro Lobato, would make it difficult to learn the production of consistent texts and appropriate language in different contexts. Schools play an important role for kids to be in touch with these good books, so they should have the main role in the children‟s development and background, making them able to be aware of the importance of reading and writing in their lives. Most of the children found it difficult to write texts, but in the end they reached a god level of language related to the proposed context, writing consistent texts, but the part of children still mistake and in literacy and language adaptation

Macrófitas aquáticas têm grande importância na dinâmica dos ecossistemas aquáticos através de sua alta produtividade e sua participação na cadeia de herbivoria e detritívora. Através de estudos da sazonalidade da biomassa e da composição química dessas plantas é possível avaliar seu papel no ecossistema inferindo sobre seu período de crescimento e estoque de nutrientes. Em regiões tropicais a biomassa vegetal apresenta pequena ou ausente variação sazonal devido à pouca variação de temperatura e fotoperíodo, diferentemente das regiões temperadas onde estas variações ambientais são marcantes refletindo em sazonalidades na biomassa. Os objetivos deste trabalho foram avaliar se a biomassa e a composição química de Crinum procerum apresentam padrão de variação temporal. E ainda, avaliar se a disponibilidade de nutrientes (N-total e P-total) no sedimento se relaciona ao seu teor na macrófita. As plantas aquáticas foram coletadas (quadrado de 0,25 m²) em quintuplicata em um banco monoespecífico no rio Branco, bacia do rio Itanhaém, litoral sul de SP, na primavera (nov. 2009/10), verão (fev. 2010/11), outono (mai. 2010/11) e inverno (jul. 2010/11), totalizando oito coletas. As plantas foram secas em estufa para obtenção da biomassa e análise de sua composição química (nitrogênio, fósforo, carboidratos solúveis, lipídeos, polifenóis e fração de parede celular). O teor de N-total e P-total do sedimento do estande também foi obtido. O maior valor médio de biomassa total (parte aérea e parte submersa) ocorreu na primavera/09 (1696,97 g.m-2) e os menores valores médios ocorreram nos invernos/10 e 11 (respectivamente, 825,95 g.m-2 e 565,29 g.m-2). No outono/11 o teor médio de N-total (2,16 %MS) na biomassa vegetal foi o mais elevado e o de P-total (0,048 %MS) foi o menor entre as demais estações. Due to the rapid development of some species such as pine and eucalyptus and a growing demand for raw materials, timber, there was a need for detailed studies to better use and higher quality in products derived from wood. In order to contribute to to better utilization of wood ,this study aims to analyze the quality of the wood surface after machining Corymbia citrodora around, with varying feed rates (40, 70, 100 mm/mim), shear rate (1.88, 2.19, 2.51 m/s) and with the use of inserts for turning new and used (cemented carbide). 18 were used bodies and each body was made three different assays for each test were a total of 54 tests three replicates. This study will also addres the analysis of power consumption for each of the tests. With the results obtained through experiments, including the surface roughness of parts and power consumption for each test, we try to evaluate the power consumption in machining with the variations in cutting speed and feed, with two tools carbide

The genus Corydoras, the highest among the Siluriformes, Callichthyidae is owned by the family, consisting of 177 valid species and widely distributed in cis-Andean portion of South America How striking feature has two longitudinal series of dermal plates covering almost the entire body. Cytogenetic studies in Callichthyidae show many chromosomal rearrangements, including events of polyploidy in their evolutionary history, particularly the genus Corydoras, in which the variation is the diploid number of 2n = 40 to 2n = 134 chromosomes. The absence of information on the frequency of chromosomes in the group Bs motivated this work with the species Corydoras aeneus. A population from the Tietê River basin in Ribeirão Claro (subbasin Corumbataí - Rio Claro, SP) was sampled a total of 20 subjects (10 males and 10 females) and 30 metaphases per individual were analyzed cytogenetically. Were carried out by impregnation techniques silver (Ag-NOR). The observed modal diploid number was 2n = 60 (26m +26 sm +8 st), with the variable occurrence of 1 or 2 Bs chromosomes in males and a B chromosome in females, both acrocentric. Regarding the variation in the frequency of chromosome Bs, the occurrence of two B chromosomes is directly linked to males, because there were no female sampled with the occurrence of two chromosomes Bs The low frequency of Bs in females suggests that this event can be sporadic this sex, different from males in which this appears to be set supernumerary chromosome showing a higher frequency of 2 Bs than the actual modal number of 2n = 60. Further studies will be performed to understand the dynamics of the B chromosome in the population

Este trabalho objetivou analisar a qualidade da água de três córregos tributários do rio Bauru, levando em conta a poluição causada por produtos orgânicos e industriais que vinham sendo descartados nos mesmos e as eventuais melhorias conseqüentes das medidas paliativas assumidas pelo DAE-Bauru, mediante a instalação de interceptores-coletores de águas residuárias ao longo Daqueles corpos de água, até que a Estação de Tratamento de Esgotos do município seja construída e se dê início ao seu funcionamento. O monitoramento destes corpos de água durante o período de estiagem e de cheias proposto nesta pesquisa, incluiu investigações sobre as variáveis químicas e físicas de amostras das águas, obtidas mensalmente em 7 pontos de coleta, localizados a montante e a jusante dos pontos de instalação dos emissários, ao longo dos córregos. As amostras de água foram posteriormente analisadas para fossem obtidas informações sobre a eficácia da instalação dos interceptores com relação ao processo de recuperação da saúde dos corpos aquáticos em questão. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que, de um modo geral, as águas de todos os sistemas estudados ainda sofrem impactos, até porque ainda há aquelas que recebem o esgoto descartado “in natura”. No entanto, como ja era esperado, nos pontos de coleta localizados em segmentos dos córregos nos quais os emissários já foram instalados, o impacto ambiental é menor. Mediante a comparação dos resultados obtidos das análises das características físicas e químicas das águas dos sistemas estudados realizadas durante esta investigação com aqueles obtidos nos mesmos corpos de água, em 2007, pudemos observar melhorias da água em alguns dos pontos de coleta

The need to reduce environmental damage and add value to waste causes more and more new alternatives appear to unite these two points. One of the main ways to achieve this in timber industries and the use of waste for making panels. This work was aimed at studying the influence of particle size and density in Eucalyptus mechanical compressive strength of cement composite wood. For this study was performed production and physico-mechanical characterization of specimens, using portland cement, water and waste eucalyptus. The methodology consists of a statistical study of the results obtained by calculating the density and axial compression tests and a subsequent comparison of these results with other studies. The results showed that there are significant differences in density and compressive strength when using different particle sizes the particles of eucalyptus. In general, the smaller the particle size, the lower the compression strength and the greater the density when the samples are produced with the same trait

Therebar of aluminum 1350 AA produced by CBA are used inthe manufacture of wires and cables for electric power transmission, which marketshows increasingly favorableto aluminum due to itslow densityand high electrical conductivity, but to ensure that this materialmeets all specifications of projectsfor electricity transmission, it must have homogeneity in the chemicaland mechanicalproperties.One of the points of improvement in the process of rod production isreducing the high variation of the limitof tensile strengthalong the coils, therefore, this work seeks a better understanding of the factors that significantly influence the mechanical properties of rebar, specifically assessing the influence oftemperatureat the output of the coils, which can cause a recovery effect on the material andif thereare relevantdifferences between the two modes of rebar production: auto and manual.Samples of six coils have been specifically produced forthis study, which weresubsequently subjected to different annealing temperatures for one hour and ten minutes, similar to what occurs in the output of the coil from the machine. The tensile tests showed that aluminum 1350 AA is significantly influenced by temperature, whose behavior was very similar to that presented in the literature. It was found that the phenomenon of recovery occurred more significantly at high temperatures. Through the optical electron microscope Zeiss, 18 surface maps were made with 100x magnification for each sample in different conditions and the images were analyzed using entropy and fractal dimension, aiming to relate the condition of surface hardening on mechanical property of the samples in that condition. The results showed that these methods can be applied, provided they do not have any kind of imperfection on the surface, once they can influence the results.
