FIESP: Forma de ser de uma entidade burguesa de caráter prussiano-colonial

O presente artigo procura analisar o posicionamento político-econômico da Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo diante do processo de reestruturação do Estado Brasileiro na década de 1990, e a correspondente inserção do país na nova etapa de acumulação do capital. A principal entidade da fração industrial da burguesia brasileira elabora uma proposta para o “Brasil Moderno”, que se baseia no resgate dos pressupostos liberais como conditio sine qua non para o desenvolvimento econômico e social do país. Tais propostas fazem coro com as diretrizes dos organismos burgueses internacionais, explicitadas através do documento intitulado Consenso de Washington, e reafirmam a condição do país como economia periférica e subordinada aos pólos centrais do capitalismo mundial.

The paper's aim is to justify the creation of the line of research Mathematics Education and Society in the Graduate Program of Mathematics Education (PPGEM), UNESP (Rio Claro, SP). In a brief history of the constitution of the mathematics education community, the categories culture and society were emphasized. A brief summary of sociology is presented, drawing on classical sociologists and contemporary authors. The group EMsociedade is presented, and its purpose, which is to be part of the PPGEM to establish a space for discussions between students and supervisors from the Graduate Program, elementary and middle school teachers, and others who have interest in the subject. One of the arguments defended by the group is presented: institutionalized mathematical knowledge in the Twentieth Century is a commodity. Finally, some future considerations are outlined, including the expectation that the line of research Mathematics Education and Society will be included in the PPGEM.

Êxodo: a mulher no processo de partir

Este relatório tem como função mostrar e descrever as fases de produção do trabalho de conclusão de curso de Rádio e Televisão denominado “Êxodo, a mulher no processo de partir” que aborda o mundo feminino focando na imagem da mulher vinculada pela religião católica e pelos meios de comunicação, e visando mostrar a imagem real de como elas são, o que sentem, suas dores e superações. Fazendo, desse modo, um contrapeso entre o real e o imaginário. Os produtos deste trabalho são um vídeo documentário e um livro dos quais em sua liguagem de narrativa trazem a mulher não como a problemática, mas sim a sociedade paternalista em que ela se encontra dificultando sua verdadeira manifestação, sua natureza e limitando suas perspectivas que acabam por torná-las generalizadas, marginalizadas e inferiorizadas em uma cultura machista e sexista que reflete na mídia atingindo a mulher diretamente e causando a ela sucessivas dificuldades, alardes e submissão, tal como o desgaste emocional no dia a dia que nem sempre tem explicação

This monograph deals with the participation of public relations professionals as a subject acting role in organizational communication in the face of new communication and informational technologies that have emerged in recent years and characterize the digital era. The present study begins with the cultural, economic and social changes that were triggered by the new communicational reality e how these changes affected the ways of acting and thinking of society. In this context, we look at how modern organizations are adapting to this new demand and how the public relations may participate in the development and management of communications strategies to relate to the new publics arising through the consolidation of digital media

Conflitos e conciliações: a relação da personagem Blanche DuBois, de Streetcar Named Desire, com a sociedade americana moderna

This paper presents a reflection on the relationship of the character Blanche DuBois, the protagonist of Tennessee Williams’s play A Streetcar Named Desire, with the society in which she is inserted. There is also a brief analysis of the construction of this character. To do this, the historical context of both the play and the author were studied, as well as his biography, which has great relevance in his work, and also a concise analysis of the elements presented in the literary work itself. In order to have an overview of Blanche, a few lines of this character were collected, as well as the lines of other characters that refer to her and some opposing viewpoints. The aim of this paper is to confront the character’s psychological and social conflicts, setting them in the context of modern American society

Grande reportagem impressa: construindo pontes

Este trabalho é uma proposta de grande reportagem para a revista Época em sua versão impressa. Diante da constatação segundo a qual a religião é assunto cada vez mais evidente na sociedade, o objetivo dessa produção é pautar um tema que é pouco difundido nos meios de comunicação de informação geral: o ecumenismo. A abordagem desse tema implicou desde a definição do conceito de ecumenismo, passando por uma breve trajetória histórica (limitações e progressos) até o relato da ação de organizações e pessoas que se envolvem concreta e cotidianamente com o ideal ecumênico. O processo de produção desse trabalho está descrito neste relatório e inclui as técnicas jornalísticas utilizadas, bem como a fundamentação teórica sobre jornalismo e sobre o tema

Diagnóstico socioambiental de um alojamento estudantil público e da comunidade do entorno: um estudo da relação entre a universidade e a sociedade

Dormitories are places offered by Brazilian public Universities to undergraduate students evaluated as socio-economically less favored aiming to guarantee the housing of the student in the locality they take a given undergraduate course, once housing is one the points which compose the tripod that supports the concept of student permanence, along with conditions of transportations and food. These places, however, present problems in their management, specially the ones related to social and environmental questions, caused by wrong attitudes and pre-concepts of their own residents, other students and the communities who live around them. So, this project aims to identify and analyze the socio-environmental conditions of a students’ dormitory located in Botucatu/SP which is supported by the Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (Unesp) as well as the community that surrounds it. The data collecting is based on an exploratory research characterized for interviews that used semi-structured questionnaires and for the creation of a photography record of the region. The obtained data corroborated the tendency of an increasing gap between the Brazilian public universities and the society as well as to the disengagement of them and their students. This diagnosis has permitted to build proposals of educational interventions based on Permaculture, Agroecology and Critical Environmental Education to the improvement of the existing relationships among the students who live at the dormitory and among them and the local community. These interventions may be used as subsidies to the development of future research and extension projects to the local community
