This research project aims to study the relationship between the myths and the automobile, the contributions to the literature of fairy tales and the possible contributions of the heroes of fairy tales can bring to the process of teaching and learning defensive behavior in traffic. Traffic is a phenomenon so common to modern societies that often do not pay attention to their relevance as synonymous with social space and contains diversity of people and behaviors. To counter the image of fatalistic accidents and transgressions, will support us in the virtues of the hero figure to culminate in a collective tale in which children want to rethink their behavior, becoming citizens, with a more preventative and better quality of life. The research will be held in four rooms of elementary school in a city public school that serves children from families of the urban popular classes. The research will seek to analyze how the design of transit for the children and what the increase attributed to the theme, after the establishment of a collective story

This research aimed at studying the social role of reading, its importance in building knowledge and training of readers, as well as reflect on the teaching of reading in schools, with children in the literacy process. For their achievement, were used as theoretical support authors who are dedicated to the study of language, thematic reading, and phenomena that occur through it in the school environment, especially those of Bakhtin, Kleiman, Chartier, Foucambert, among others . The research was carried out using the approach of qualitative research, using participatory action research, through which the researcher could have direct contact with the observed phenomena, to participate and collect the participants' actions in its natural context, the from their perspective and their views. As for collecting and analyzing data, we used the tools of questionnaire, interview and participant observation. Its subjects a literacy class and their respective teacher, in 2009. By analyzing this information, one can draw a picture of reading in the school environment and teaching practices that surround this object. The results of the literature survey and data analysis suggest that reading is a social practice, and as such has indispensable social function in society today. And the school, one of the greatest instruments of contact with the world of letters, therefore, of reading for children means not literate, have key role in developing and training of readers who are aware of the importance of reading and perpetuate this practice in their daily lives. Este trabalho final de graduação apresenta uma proposta de requalificação de uma área central subutilizada da cidade de Presidente Prudente –SP, por meio da implantação de habitação de interesse social. Essa proposta vem sendo apontada como uma possível solução para essas áreas centrais, as quais estão consolidadas, considerando a presença de equipamentos públicos, infraestrutura e transporte

The analysis of natural processes, such as landslides, has a great importance for the prevention of accidents in pipelines, since it might compromise its security, with serious social and environmental implications. Considering the large territorial dimensions that pipelines can reach, remote sensing tools have great applicability for data acquisition, allowing the analysis of large areas in regular time periods. This study aims to analyze the relations between the occurrence of landslides and its natural conditionings, on a stretch of the ORBEL pipeline, in the municipalities of Duque de Caxias, Nova Iguaçu and Belford Roxo – Rio de Janeiro. GeoEye sensor system images were used with spatial resolution of 0.5 m, from November/2009, January/2010 and March/2010, that are months of summer rains. The work involved the characterization of the study area and existing landslides, through bibliographic data collection; the application of visual analysis techniques for the extraction of landslide scars and fractures; preparation of maps for the landslide constraints and preparation of the susceptibility map. In the images from November only three landslide scars were extracted, while in January there were 166 and 111 in March. Difficulties were found with the shading in the images. From the relations among landslide scars, lithological units, relief systems, slope, downhill profile and the generated map of landslide susceptibility, presented in 1:70,000 scale, it was possible to conclude that slope is the main determinant of the process, allied secondarily to downhill profile, relief systems and lithology

O trabalho analisa como se estabelece o processo de construção social de uma identidade territorial em dois assentamentos humanos na cidade de Huánuco, Peru. Os processos de assentamento se configuram por movimentos migratórios autônomos, por processo de migração forçada (refugiados), ou por políticas públicas específicas de assentamentos humanos, seja por instrumentos de reforma agrária e ou por reordenamento territorial, bem como por iniciativas concretas construídas pelos sujeitos a partir de sua atuação em movimentos sociais. Estes últimos se estabelecem de forma mais acentuada na América Latina, no campo e na cidade, por meio dos movimentos sociais de luta pela terra; no Brasil, em particular no campo, o MST se constitui em um grande protagonista, assim como em lutas por moradia também se encontra um movimento mais articulado denominado Movimento dos Sem Teto. Buscou-se compreender melhor como esses movimentos ocorrem no Peru e tendo como base empírica o município de Huánuco. Destaca-se que esse processo de reorganização espacial dos sujeitos gera dúvidas quanto a se constituir em um território de emancipação, de constituição de liberdade organizativa e de gestão, com capacidade de se transformar em elemento de alteridade, ou simplesmente de subordinação, confinamento, não permitindo a constituição de uma comunidade livre e autônoma. Diante destas questões exige-se uma reflexão sobre o processo de construção social de uma identidade territorial, como forma de entender as dinâmicas de apropriação territorial que se efetiva por comunidades nesta nova espacialidade ocupada e vivenciada, delimitando claramente se esta espacialidade constitui um território per si ou em si. This study examined the practices of crowdfunding, collective vehicle of fundraising for the production of works of culture, education, social programs etc over the internet. Through the analysis of registered projects and finalized in Brazilian site funding col-laborative Catarse, we were able to list interesting points to be considered to deter-mine what lead people to cooperate or not with this kind of practice. It was noticed that the internet materialized in front of individuals as an important vehicle for social participation, enabling the concern to collaborate on projects, people and causes that have common characteristics or interests bring benefits to society

This paper presents the results of a study aimed at identifying and analyzing the theoretical and methodological principles that guide the practice of teachers in the early years of computer use in the teaching and learning. Specific objectives we seek to identify and analyze the social representations of teachers on the use of computers in teaching and learning. The research took a qualitative approach with a descriptive-explanatory and owned two phases of data collection: a) a questionnaire b) monitoring the daily practice of teachers in a selected school and semi-structured interview. The analysis of data was done through content analysis. Through the interrelationship of the data in the questionnaire, observation and interview, we found that the teachers surveyed have an address that does not match the teaching practice in the use of computers in the educational process. The theoretical expressed by teachers participating in the research meets constructivist beliefs and / or sociointeractionists but teaching practice thins primarily to behavioral assumptions. Observe social issues of representation when the speeches of the participating teachers did not correspond to their practices. Associated with this or as a cause of these conditions have failure, inadequacy or absence of teacher training for the use of computers in the educational process leading to under-utilization of this resource.
