As contribuições do periódico Educação & Sociedade mediante reflexões da formação de professores

Este estudo teve por objetivos constituir o ciclo de vida da Revista Educação & Sociedade e apresentar uma discussão sobre a temática Formação de Professores no interior desse periódico. Optou-se metodologicamente pela pesquisa bibliográfica, embasada na leitura, análise e interpretação de artigos presentes no periódico Educação & Sociedade, assim como de outros autores que tiveram seus trabalhos voltados para a formação docente. O trabalho de investigação foi feito na Biblioteca do Instituto de Biociências da UNESP – Campus de Rio Claro. Neste processo identificaram-se 33 periódicos, sendo que dentre eles, escolheuse a Revista EDUCAÇÃO & SOCIEDADE, período de 1978 a 2005, por ser considerada uma revista quadrimestral (1995), reconhecida como um periódico de nível internacional, tendo um forte corpo editorial nacional e internacional, publicando textos em português, inglês, francês, alemão e espanhol relacionados a área de Ciência da Educação, divulgando trabalhos que incentivam a pesquisa acadêmica e o debate amplo sobre a educação nos diversos prismas de sua relação com a sociedade. Sobre o ciclo de vida do periódico observou-se que este foi publicado, inicialmente, pela Editora UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE CAMPINAS em convênio com a Editora CORTEZ & MORAES (1978); depois: de responsabilidade do Centro de Estudos Educação e Sociedade (CEDES), publicada e comercializada pela Editora Cortez & Moraes (1979) e publicada e comercializada pela CORTEZ EDITORA e AUTORES ASSOCIADOS (1980-1981); publicada e comercializada pelo CORTEZ EDITORA (1982-1989); editada e publicada pela EDITORA REVISTA DOS CEDES TRIBUNAIS Ltda (1990-1996); sendo que a partir de 1997 passou a ser publicado via on line e financiada com recurso de Programa de Apoio a Publicações Científicas (MCT, CNPq e FINEP) com responsabilidade editorial, de publicação e vendas pelas CEDES, perdurando até o presente. Práticas de leitura e escrita em contexto acadêmico: relações (hiper)textuais singulares

The present article aims at reflecting about the discursive practices of writing and reading on the net, more specifically about the writing and reading methods used by the undergraduate and graduated teachers, based on an internet search engine. It’s of interest to investigate: i) the (hyper) textual relations established in the context thought as permitted by the electronic resources; ii) the discursive marks that arise (are arisen) in a singular way of reading (and/or writing). The set of material was produced during a university extension course about reading and cyberspace, whose context consisted of a drawing production of the reading process on an internet search engine, on the basis of the signifier “apple”. Based on the French Discourse Analysis and assumptions from the New Literacy Studies, we intended to discuss the operating procedures of the internet search and the effects of meanings produced by the subject during his/her reading/writing process.

The present work has for objective to analyze the issue of training environmental awareness and its role in contemporary society. With the alarming scenario of degradation and environmental imbalance , political, social and non-governmental institutions have established the urgent need for an education that make changes in social behavior in relation to the environment. With this design is establishing environmental education, however the economic , financial and social scenario in which is inserted dismantles its effectiveness , since the transformations of modernity incited alienation, reification , individualization , indifference and consumerism . In this juncture it is noticed that environmental education needs to be analyzed by the perspective of a man in critical reflection of the capitalist structure. Memória, infância e brincar em escritos de Walter Benjamin: cultura lúdica e processos de formação e prática docente

This text aims to present some ideas of the philosopher Walter Benjamin, one of the most intriguing intellectuals of our time, trying to outline in his work the relationship that the author establishes between childhood playing and ludic culture, more precisely regarding the memory of playing, childhood, culture, history and memory in contemporary society after the twentieth century. Thus, in order to identify reinterpreted experiments, as places, forms of playing and types of toys made out of this paradigm, we were guided by the notes, essays, translations and articles in which Benjamin identified conceptions of childhood and ludic culture. Benjamin's view of childhood is not childish, simplistic or reductive. His works allow us to discuss and justify the need for a more detailed analysis on the phenomenon of development and teaching practice within the everyday schoolchildren. By revisiting the original ideas, and irreverent criticism of Benjamin, thinking education from his account, we hope to contribute with other studies in the field of education, by elucidating the process of development and teaching practice in relation to the ludic childhood culture, specifically regarding childhood and the places of childhood in the contemporary context.

El carácter pedagógico de la literatura infantil ha servido, por largo tiempo, como factor de desprestigio del género, ya sea por la imposición de paradigmas comportamentales advenidos de una postura autoritaria de los adultos, subyacente al texto, ya sea por haber minimizado la preocupación artística del lenguaje. Este artículo analiza de que manera la narrativa O meu amigo pintor, de Lygia Bojunga, supera ese modelo, al instaurar un equilibrio entre el respeto al universo en formación de los niños y los medios lingüísticos que representan el universo infantil desde la mirada de la propia creatura, facultándole a ella la elaboración de sus significados.

O discurso sobre leitura na esfera escolar e sua relação com o discurso científico

In this paper, the discourse about reading skills uttered by teachers and students is analyzed. The analyses are supported by the Bakhtin’s studies concerning the discourse that necessarily consider the meaning affected by the sphere of the activity in which the enunciation occurs. The concrete utterance, in this perspective, has its identity in relation to the social values that constitute the conscience of the author and in the ideologies that materialize in the discourse, which is always marked by the constitutive relation between the other person and me. The results indicate the following conclusions: the common sense discourse about reading appears in the answers of the analyzed teachers, which consider their students like bad readers, these professionals also do not recognize the technology as a source of reading for their students. Thus, reading that interests the students is not acceptable in school. The symbolic violence practiced by school appears at the moment that the teacher does not consider the student’s language and the readings that interest them; it also appears when the teacher prevents their students to have new readings; moreover, reading is always unique as it is neither new, nor unrepeatable, so it the plurality of meanings is impossible.

Vozes de professores: indícios de/para cursos de formação

In this article we analyze discourses of teachers on the linguistic practices of their students and discourses of future teachers. We consider studies of Bakhtin on dialogism and ideology in the production of meanings. Results indicate the following conclusions: the student in the analyzed discourses is a bad speaker, a bad writer, a bad reader, the great villain of language and reading in school is the advent of new technologies and languages which introduce new practices that have not been accepted by the interviewees. In this discourses, we can notice ways that can be taken into consideration in new teacher’s formation courses.

A leitura como construção de conhecimento e de sentidos que conferem poder

As a literature’s teacher, I’ve performed a search during three years devoted to the reader’s formation. Through this research, which resulted in my master's dissertation (FERREIRA, 2003), I’ve tried to diagnose, from 1998 to 2000, which were the previous concepts of young people belonging to prestigious classes that have led them to the rejection of reading. I’ve choose, based on the diagnosis, to develop a work guided by the reception’s aesthetics that aloud them to review both of these concepts, to expand the horizons of their expectations.

A relação afetiva com a leitura: memórias de professores

In the area of humanities, especially in Literature, can cause estrangement that perform research related to the creation of the database. It can imagine at first that tries to bring complex concepts such as "literature", "reading" and "literacy" to quantifications. However, it should be noted that the formation of these banks can contribute to the consolidation of research networks, with consequent exchange of information and references, including researchers from different and distant regions of country. Precisely because of this diverse spatiality, providing that the Federation units realize their research capacities and performance in certain areas brings significant elements for the advancement of scientific and cultural. In the case of this research aimed to briefly describe some clues about memories of reading teachers in the Literature, the region known as Norte Pioneiro, of Paraná State and the neighboring region with that, demarcated by the counties between Assis and Ourinhos from São Paulo State, enrolled in a specialized course, to contemplate works of juvenile literature.
