There are substantial evidences that the period experienced by humanity globally is unprecedented and is heading towards a major transformation that results from the Globalization. Totally conditioned to the addictions of the dominant and predatory capitalism, humanity has, for decades, exhausted natural resources, disregarded the nature of its own social existence and walked away from its humanity. It is notable, however, an impressive flow of factors that dialogue and support each other as trends that go towards sustainable development, based on the harmonious integration between Technology, Culture, Society, Environment and Economy. This emerging moment can be seen from the perspectives of the Creative Economy as economic paradigm centered on the subjectivity and the human capacity to undertake innovative services, products and solutions guided by social values. Within this fluid and dynamic global context, initiatives that legitimately intend to act sustainably are gaining space. This socioeconomic moment fosters and is fostered by new kinds of work and organization guided by the Collaboration and social structuring on Network Patterns. These new social models significantly transform the understanding and insights about the Communication flows. The HUB São Paulo, as creative and social organization that operates under the logic of Collaboration through a Network Structure, was the subject of a case study used to sustain the defense of this emerging scenario and also to perform an analysis on the new role of Communication, at perspectives of transformation of mental paradigms towards sustainability and establishment of meaningful connections

Rebranding: propostas de estratégias para a reconstrução de marca no Centro Universitário da FEI

This paper relates the concepts of brand management in the educational context of Brazilian higher education to demonstrate how can we do a reconstruction and the importance of establishing a solid relationship with the public of an organization to become loyal to your brand . The reflections in this project seek to demonstrate how PR professionals can plan the reconstruction process of a brand. To achieve the ultimate goal of the project seeks to introduce the concepts of branding, PR and stakeholders in order to highlight the new challenges that organizations face today. To illustrate the concepts aborted, the procedures suggested for the reconstruction of a brand are used in the case study of the Centro Universitário da FEI. For this, it is a diagnosis of the organization and subsequently suggested a process for strategic rebrading, as well as the association of a brand management with public relations

Usos não-padrão das estratégias de relativização no português brasileiro: hipercorreção e estilo

This study focuses on the current use of the relative pronoun qual and variants or alternatives (o/os/a/as/ qual/quais, preceded or not by prepositions) in Brazilian Portuguese concerning mainly on the phenomenon of hypercorrection. As a theoretical basis, it was used the study of William Labov about the phenomenon and also the rules of use of this pronoun present in both traditional grammars and linguistic studies. It was performed a qualitative analysis of a corpus of written language with the intention of describing the different uses of the pronoun, and looking for their possible motivations. There were also found different types of occurrences of hypercorrection, which has led to propose a scale of uses of this relative pronoun, which reveals an increasing loss of its functions towards an use as an index of prestige. It discusses also the stylistic factor as a potential motivator of this phenomenon

This conclusion of course work aims to investigate the city of Limerick / SP, in order to question whether there are and what public policies developed by local, if there are training places for young people and targeting the job market or even partnerships between the city and local businesses seeking to supply the concrete conditions of preparation and targeting young people for the labor market. All changes in education accompanied the need to provide skilled labor to contribute to the country's economic development. The work is divided into several chapters. The first chapter is about the whole historical development of professional education in Brazil and new challenges. The second chapter discusses the reality of the world of work changes and their consequences, and the issue of working children and adolescents. The third chapter is about the difficulty of insertion of the poor youth in the current job market. The fourth chapter presents the city of Limerick to the needs of professional schools to meet the large number of trades and industries, which are currently listed by the educational institutions of the city and programs signed between the Municipal bodies and institutions such as SENAC (National Service of Commercial Learning) and Senai (National Service of Industrial Learning). The fifth chapter presents an interview with the CAMPL the city of Limerick, whose goal and give professional training to teens to get the first employee. This study shows new alternatives to the teaching of chemistry in high school and wants to be an aid to the teacher at the time of the planning of lessons and a way to help students improve their performance in this discipline. The central issue is the exploration of differentiated teaching strategies for a just end: improvement of education in chemistry. To reach the main point is to undertake a survey of the most important issues for students and teachers, and from there many teaching strategies are suggested to help in understanding the contents studied. The idea is to propose strategies that may be of interest to students of chemistry, stimulating the curiosity of wanting to know more about a certain content that is being studied in the classroom. This study shows that chemistry is not boring, is not as difficult as it seems, and everyone can indeed take pleasure in studying a world as real and so fascinating, if you understand the facts

Estratégias de aplicação de softwares educativos como instrumentos para o ensino de física

The technological advances of recent decades combined with digital inc1usion in Brazil sparked the country's population to the constant use of computers to perform tasks in many different natures. Whether it's for communication, entertainment, work or school, computers are tools with increasing numbers in Brazilian homes. Along with this evolution the Brazilian Physics teaching should be aware of the use of teaching tools that relate directly to the computer to student learning. Highlighting in this work we have scanned the contents of the Wikipedia community, a wide variety of educational videos placed on YouTube, educational games that try to teach the player in a fun way and a variety educational softwares placed on the World Wide Web. It is with special attention to educational softwares as tools for teaching physics, which describe some strategies for use of these software, combined with the textbooks, to illustrate some ways to introduce the use of educational softwares directly in the classroom

O uso do material manipulativo Tangram e de jogos como estratégias de motivação para a aprendizagem de frações

In this research, we analyzed the use of manipulative materials and games as motivators tools that facilitate the comprehension of fractions content when presented to a class of students from the 9th grade from a public school in Guaratinguetá-SP city. The students are 14 and 17 years old. Initially we presented the benefits that could bring manipulative materials for teaching and learning with understanding, followed by historical accounts of the Tangram material. We show the advantages of the games, when properly used in activities classroom. The game titled Dominoes fractions using the Tangram was applied in order to check if students retook properly the fractions contents. This research was motivated students to participate in math classes and this motivation may have promoted the understanding of the contents worked

Estratégias municipais para oferta da educação básica: análise de parcerias público-privado no município de Itirapina

Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso refere-se ao estudo de um caso e está inserido ao âmbito do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Política Educacional (Greppe) que, realiza estudos e pesquisas referentes ao projeto “Estratégias Municipais para a Oferta da Educação Básica: análise de parcerias público-privado no Estado de São Paulo”. O período da pesquisa é de 1997-2006, período de vigência do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento do Ensino Fundamental e de Valorização do Magistério (Fundef). O objetivo é estudar e analisar as estratégias utilizadas pelo município de Itirapina para a oferta da Educação Básica, especificamente na etapa da Educação Infantil, ou seja, estudar e analisar as parcerias (acordos) lá existentes, sua natureza e modalidade. Quais os fatores que levaram a Prefeitura de Itirapina a firmar convênio para oferta de vagas em instituições privadas filantrópicas (creches) e qual a normalização para estes convênios. Sabe-se que estas instituições já atendem as matrículas das creches e pré-escolas há muitos anos, antes mesmo do convênio formal que se iniciou em 2000. Estudar as implicações que as políticas públicas educacionais trouxeram para a oferta da primeira etapa da Educação Básica no período analisado, como a vinculação de recursos financeiros destinados a Educação e sua distribuição pelo Fundef é imprescindível na compreensão do quadro em que se encontra a Educação Infantil no município, principalmente a primeira etapa que atende às crianças na faixa etária de 0 a 3 anos em creches (conveniadas). A perspectiva de melhorias apontada pelo Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (Fundeb), que, distribuirá recursos financeiros para esta etapa da educação, já tão penalizada ao longo da história, traz a certeza de mudanças, porém, ainda... A Bienal do Vazio: análise comparativa das estratégias de tomada de posição dos jornais O Estado de S. Paulo e Jornal Semanal da 28ª Bienal de São Paulo

This paper proposes a comparative analysis of cultural critical, articles and reports related to the 28th International Biennial of Art of São Paulo published in the newspapers O Estado de S. Paulo and Jornal Semanal da 28ª Bienal de São Paulo, from October to December 2008. Specific aims of analysis are how an institution devoted, like Biennial, creates mechanisms to defend their choices and hegemonic position within the arts field and also to examine how this dedication can be demystified by critics from diffusion field not linked to the institution. For the study will be used the concepts of field, hierarchy of legitimacy and position of an agent developed by Pierre Bourdieu, as well as historical notions of Cultural Journalism and journalistic criticism

This paper aims at examining the hypothesis that the choice among the different strategies of relativization available in the Portuguese grammar is motivated by a lesser or greater degree of transparency between form and meaning, which implies, correlatively, lesser or greater degree of ease in cognitive processing. In addition, the lesser or greater degree of transparency allows to postulate a hierarchical ordering for the strategies in correspondence to a greater or a lesser degree of ease in cognitive processing.

O texto adaptado à máquina: estratégias de controle autoral para implementação da tradução automática

Machine translation systems have been increasingly used for translation of large volumes of specialized texts. The efficiency of these systems depends directly on the implementation of strategies for controlling lexical use of source texts as a way to guarantee machine performance and, ultimately, human revision and post-edition work. This paper presents a brief history of application of machine translation, introduces the concept of lexicon and ambiguity and focuses on some of the lexical control strategies presently used, discussing their possible implications for the production and reading of specialized texts.
