One of the roles allocated to the elderly is to be the collective memory of their social group, transmitting their cultural heritage. In our work with seniors, entitled "Workshop of Psychology", carried in the University for the Elderly (UNESP - Assis), we privilege a space in which these memories gain materiality and senses through polysemic narrative. In the workshops with a group of 30 seniors, we record the stories told that the word can be incorporated in the group and the university. For the elderly, the rescue of the past through the narrative experience provides a space for dialogue from their memories and reinterpretation of the past and present. To a psychologist, is the opportunity for a differentiated practice that seeks to remember to remember, but this is a political act of confrontation with the present, questioning the social role of older people today.

This paper presents a non-heterosexual young lady s Narrative Life History. By presenting it, we aim to understanding how desire, (in)visibility and the processes of exclusion are articulated in relation to the experience of homoeroticism, especially within the family. By this, we are able to point out some homophobic aspects, modes of how the device of closet operates and how some expectations and demands exert pressures over a non-heterosexual member in the family. In this case study, the way her family lived her sexuality depended on a strong family ties, such as: the secret about sexuality. Such secret, according to our hypothesis, was produced and preserved by homophobia which served as the major aspect on the construction of gender and (dis)unity of the family. This work is part of a in progress doctoral thesis, sponsored by FAPESP Fundação para o Amparo à Pesquisa no Estado de São Paulo.

This text’s objective is to present an analysis of Aída, adapted by Han Mi-Ho (2012) and illustrated by Lucia Sforza, from the classic eponymous opera by Giuseppe Verdi. This book is part of the collection Classical music on the scene, published by FTD, which aims to introduce stories of important librettos regarded as classics in the music field to young audiences. More specifically, we intend to verify in this text, with Bakhtinian principles, how the dialogue between Verdi’s work and HanMi-Ho’s is actualized. To achieve these objectives, we will present a reflection of what provides the pleasure in reading. In this text we built the hypothesis that Han-Mi-Ho’s strategy to rescue a classic opera and adapt it in the form of an illustrated narrative for the young reader provides the contact with an attractive and playful text that leads to critical reflection and expands his knowledge through the rescue of the cultural memory. The appropriation of a classic cultural production adapted to the narrative language and targeted to a young audience can act as an appraisal factor in the identity of the reader. Through it, he is able to raise his self-esteem, because he perceives that he is considered as a production receiver, while at the same time he is recognized as the heir of a traditional cultural heritage.

Tras la publicación de una serie de novelas caracterizadas por la experimentación formal y la innovación linguística, el valenciano Alfons Cervera (1947- ) inició un proyecto literario de rememoración de la posguerra española, centrado en una trilogía de novelas: El color del crepúsculo, (1995), Maquis (1997), La noche inmóvil (1999). La trilogía reconstruye la memoria del cotidiano de los habitantes de Los Yesares, nombre fictício atribuído al pueblo de Gestalgar, tierra natal del escritor, en Valencia. Las narrativas presentan semejanzas temáticas y estruturales, así como tienen personajes en común. En El color del crepúsculo, la protagonista Sunta, por medio de un relato rememorativo, intenta recuperar el tiempo perdido, el entorno seguro de la infancia y de la adolescencia. Maquis, segunda novela de la trilogía, por medio de una narrativa fragmentada, relata la historia del cotidiano de los habitantes del mismo pueblo, marcado por la represión y el miedo, y la vida de los guerrilleros, los maquis, que sobreviven en las montañas. Félix, el abuelo de Sunta, es el protagonista de La noche inmóvil que está a la espera de la muerte, atormentado por el recuerdo de su hijo muerto y por las voces de los amigos que ya se fueron. Memoria y ficción construyen un imaginario ambivalente en las novelas, borrando los límites entre la memoria personal, la memoria colectiva y la histórica.

A educação cristã na atualidade tem gerado novas vertentes e abordagens de ensino, entre elas a Educação por Princípios. Com origem nos Estados Unidos, essa abordagem chegou ao Brasil em 1988, e já possui um número considerável de escolas que aderem a essa perspectiva, porém, ainda não é conhecida no contexto educativo. A partir deste pressuposto, o seguinte trabalho tem como objetivo ampliar a compreensão da Educação Cristã por Princípios, seu histórico, sua filosofia, seus métodos de ensino e a aplicabilidade dos princípios no currículo escolar. Para isso foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa qualitativa seguindo a metodologia de pesquisa bibliográfica e análise documental. Concluiu-se que alguns dos pontos da abordagem apresentada dificilmente poderiam ser inseridos na escola regular, por esta ser laica. Entretanto, os sete princípios básicos que caracterizam a Educação por Princípios trariam grandes contribuições, principalmente por resgatar valores de convivência social

This work presents a brief historical about the use of ionizing radiations in Veterinary Medicine, instructing the physical beginnings and techniques wrapped in the realization of the proceedings of radiotherapy in animals, illustrating some treated cases, highlighting the difficulties and pointing to the perspectives and importance of the acting of the medical physics in this kind of therapeutic still little used in the national scenery.

Are called panfacial fractures when the upper, middle and lower facial thirds present fractures concurrently. In clinical practice, came to imply the involvement of two facial thirds. Panfacial fractures are usually accompanied by other systemic lesions that impair the patient's life and therefore require primary treatment. Almost invariably are associated with damage to soft tissues and severe losses of bone structures which may lead to severe facial deformations and malocclusions. The panfacial fractures treatment is complex because often there isn’t a stable bone structure to guide the reduction of various fractures. Several orders of treatment have been proposed, but they are variations of the two classical approaches "bottom to top and inside-out" and "top to bottom and out-inside". The aim of this paper is to discuss the principles of management and panfacial fractures treatment, emphasizing the sequence of fracture reduction and highlighting its indications, advantages and disadvantages, through literature review and reports of surgical clinic cases. We conclude that the exact sequence of fracture reduction is not as important as developing a treatment plan that allows accurate positioning of the fractured segments.

The dentist has been suggested as a professional vulnerable to labor risks mainly related to working posture. This study examined the application of ergonomics principles during the dental attendances made by university student of the last period of the Araçatuba Dental University. Twenty-four attendants were photographed and the images were digitally analyzed for the verification of 10 requirements that determine a healthy labor posture, defined by the project ISO Standard / TC 106/SC 6 N 411. It was observed that 50% of items from the check list obtained higher percentages of negative replies. The students had greater difficulties as to the correct position of the angle between the upper and lower leg when sitting, the ideal adjustment of the light focus reflector in the field of work and the patient positioning. It was concluded that the dental attendances were held without compliance with the ergonomic requirements. The greatest difficulties regarding the work posture were the sitting posture, the light beam and the patient positioning. Students need better guidance about ergonomic principles and requirements, which should occur at any time of life, but earliest they are installed, greater the benefits, assimilation and incorporation of adequate working postures will be. We need a reform that addresses all sectors of the dental system, so that learning and application of ergonomics in dentistry become effective, efficient and effective.
