This paper aims to show the beginning of habitus and the bodily hexis construction of male ballet dancer and female player soccer. Firstly, the habitus and the bodily hexis are established by the cultural inheritance of families (advices, likes, choices, prohibitions, and work divisions). After, they are restructured by the most diverse fields where this people act, mainly in the school, specifically at Physical Education classes (in the specialized places where these classes occur). Thus, it is possible to verify the success or the failure of their path lives and the possibility of a social ascent by the choice of these practices as professional career.

Alfabetização no ensino fundamental de nove anos: avaliação discente e suas implicações para as práticas pedagógicas

This paper focuses data from discussions done with teachers who work with the three early years of nine-years elementary chool, in two Municipal schools of São Paulo inland, in order to investigate the students’ literacy degree. Considering a test applied to students of three early years of those schools, this study deals with the literacy performance results of 153 children of third school year. It also relates data of this test with some aspects that have characterized the literacy teachers’ practices. Initially, it presents considerations about the literacy process in extent of nine-years elementary school and some implications for the teachers’ practices. Then, it emphasizes the test results of third year students, pointing out what skills were already developed by them in literacy process and what skills must be improved. Results show that those children are not literated. They demonstrate difficulties in the appropriation of reading and writing skills, even in the third school year. It suggests the teachers’ need to reorganize their practices in classroom and to revise students’ literacy process, allowing to every student the full appropriation of reading and writing.

As estratégias discursivas e suas implicações na relação entre oralidade e escrita? um estudo do parêntese na crônica

Based on functional theory, the text discusses the relations between spoken language and written language, defending not only the existence of a sole grammatical system for both, but also the relevance of studies contemplating specificities of use, some of these being more directed toward interaction, and others being more directed toward system. The investigation that aims to prove these premises used the chronicle as examination material, due to its linguistic colloquialism in general and due to the chronicler’s personal engagement, which involve linguistic strategies available for the expression of information and for the reader’s understanding. The investigation was concentrated on the discourse parenthesis, especially on its connection with the degree of language planning and with the creation of view plans and the establishment of emphasis. It was concluded that the resource of parenthesis both represents linguistic informality (which is more directed toward speaking) and shows the care with preparation and marking of style (which is more directed toward writing), illustrating specificities.

Implicações socioculturais do processo de ensino de português para falantes de outras línguas no contexto virtual do Teletandem

This study aims to discuss, by assuming the perspective of the Discourse Analysis, the social and cultural implications of the process of teaching Portuguese to foreigners in the virtual context of Teletandem. It also intends to evaluate the levels of Critical Language Awareness presented by the participants, in relation to the linguistic, discursive and social dimensions of the analysis. The data were collected in 2011 in interactions between students from Unesp/Assis and students from North-American universities. The research has been guided by the following questions: (a) how social and historical changes are reflected in language uses; (b) how these implications appear in the context of Teletandem; (c) how is it possible to evaluate the levels of Critical Language Awareness between the participants related to the social dimension of the discourse.

Próteses parciais removíveis associadas a encaixes: implicações clínicas e laboratoriais

Nowadays, the fixed partial dentures and/or dental implants is the most requested treatmentby the majority of partially edentulous patients. However, depending on the periodontal condition of the remaining teeth, as well as the bone condition of the prosthetic space, the oral rehabilitation with these treatments may be limited or even contraindicated. In such cases, the use of removable partial dentures associated to attachments becomes an important alternative for aesthetic and functional rehabilitation. Attachments are mechanical devices consisted of two parts (patrix-matrix), one placed inside another, which act as direct retainer, providing retention, support and stability to the dentures. These devices can be classified as intra or extracoronal attachments, considering their position in relation to the abutment tooth. However, regardless the type of attachment, the association between fixed and removable partial dentures should be performed respecting the biomechanical principles of both. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to review and discuss the literature about the clinical and laboratory implications of the association between fixed and removable partial dentures by means of attachments.

As avaliações externas e suas implicações para a organização do trabalho numa escola da rede estadual paulista: um estudo de caso

This research analyses the positives and/or negatives of external reviews to work's organization developed at the/and by the school. It should be noted that it's a qualitative case of empirical research, and it takes the pattern of case's study, because we held the investigation just in one school, which in turn, belongs to the education's public network by the state, and is located at the São Paulo northwest. The tools employed at this research for the data's collect were the observation, restricted to times of Pedagogical Work Activities Collective from the school, and the semi structured interviews with educational coordinators and the teachers too. We choose educational coordinators and teachers because they are closer with the education and learning methods, as well as their activities have more responsibility in relation to the main function developed by school, that is to teach, in other words, educational processes. This research also concerns an investigation about the educational coordinators and teachers conceptions, in relation to system's implantation external reviews at the schools. The results indicate to incidence of significant interference of the external reviews to/in the organization school's work, as, a teaching practice reorientation from results arising these reviews, or, modifications in the internal rating, since they have followed a tendency towards becoming more similar with their own external reviews. In what concerns the subjects investigated, we can emphasize that mostly submitted alienation with respect to negative effects of the external reviews for school. They showed that are conformed with the reality that they are inserted and in your mostly they proved perceive the positive effects by the implantation of external reviews. Implicações de um programa de formação continuada na formação e atuação de professores de educação física atuantes no ciclo I

This work focused on research a course of continuing education for teachers of Physical Education, offered in a city of São Paulo in 2013. Adopting as a benchmark analysis of models of continuing education in teaching, investigative question that guided this study was: what are the implications of this formative process in the formation and performance of the participating teachers?. With this guiding question, four were the objectives we seek to respond to this analysis: first identify the profile of teachers as well as the participation and involvement of the same course developed; 2 map and analyze the manifestations of teachers throughout the course; 3 reflect on the role of teachers in relation to approaches and/or distances with the common physical education curriculum proposed by the municipality; 4 identify and analyze the reflections on the course conducted. The methodological approach was qualitative and eighteen participants were teachers of a school system in a city of São Paulo, active in cycle I (1 to 5 years) of primary school. Data collection was carried out in two phases, with the participants in the first stage seventeen teachers and three teachers in the second stage that in addition to acting in the cycle I also actively participated in the course. Data were obtained in phase one using a diagnostic interview recorded on voice recorder and transcripts of observations and recorded in video and voice recorder from sixteen meetings of the continuing education course conducted in 2013 and phase two included the observation of classes teachers in the 2nd half of 2013, ending with a final interview. Demonstrations of physical education teachers in the course, as well as the situations observed and interviews indicated that on the profile of teachers are in the age range 30-58 years to serve at least five years in schools and most (10) does not work elsewhere. This work aimed to point out the major changes in post-graduation and their implications on professor's well-being. For this proposal, exploratory research was carried out using books and periodicals, indexed in SciELO and Web of Science. We tried to emphasize research published in the last decade. The subject is difficult to bound, as the definition of quality of life itself depends on geographical and cultural aspects. Thus, the main aspects that surround this controversial issue were selected, with no claim to exhaust it. It is pretty clean that university managers believe that the university must meet the productivist requirements. Therefore, university and undergraduate, which in the recent past were spaces of thinking, became a series production space. In this scenario it is not enough pure research and long-term, but the rapid and direct research. Also, some studies already show the relationship between the work of public universities and health issues. It is believed that the deleterious relationship between the productivist pressure and the teacher's quality of life will be quite evident in a near future

Análise da produção acadêmica no campo da educação física acerca do currículo do estado de São Paulo e suas implicações para a prática pedagógica

Visando melhoria na qualidade do ensino e da aprendizagem dos alunos, a Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo elaborou em 2008 um documento para sistematizar um currículo único para todas as escolas dos níveis de ensino fundamental II e médio, sob sua jurisdição. Assim, objetiva-se com o presente estudo analisar tanto qualitativa quanto quantitativamente a produção acadêmicocientífica no campo da Educação Física acerca do Currículo do Estado de São Paulo, a fim de identificar as possíveis implicações para a prática pedagógica. Para isso, foram analisados artigos publicados em sete periódicos nacionais da área e um banco de teses e dissertações, tendo como recorte temporal o período de 2008 até 2014. A análise e discussão dos dados se deu, inicialmente, por apresentar os resultados referentes a cada um dos periódicos investigados para, em um segundo momento, compreender de forma qualitativa o panorama geral concernente à produção acadêmica na área da Educação Física sobre a temática do Currículo do Estado de São Paulo. Logo após, os artigos e as teses e dissertações foram organizados de acordo com a classificação de temas investigados proposta por Bracht et al. (2011). Assim, foi possível identificar as possíveis implicações da produção acadêmico-científica para a prática pedagógica, sob essa temática. Os resultados indicaram uma baixa quantidade de publicações pautadas no Currículo do Estado de São Paulo para a disciplina de Educação Física. Do total de 593 artigos ou trabalhos monográficos que foram encontrados sobre Educação Física escolar, foram identificados apenas 16 baseados no Currículo do Estado de São Paulo para a disciplina de Educação Física, valor correspondente a 2,69% do total encontrado sobre a temática de Educação Física escolar durante o período considerado para a pesquisa.
