Filtragem de sinais de interferência em espectros dinâmicos solares através de suas componentes de Fourier

Through the data acquisition system of the instrument Brazilian Solar Spectroscope (BSS) at INPE, solar observations in the decimetric radio wave band (1000-2500 MHz) are regularly made. This data is showed as dynamic spectra using the software BSSView created for this purpose. The process of data acquisition can be influenced by various sources, dificulting the resulting dynamic spectrum analysis. The objective of this work is to create a computational routine that eliminates dynamic components of the spectrum attributed to interfering signals and integrate it into BSSView. It was done a preliminary study on the programming language Interactive Data Language (IDL), in which the BSSView was developed, and the Fourier transform, that is required for the application of the filter

O risco ambiental representado por campos eletromagnéticos em Presidente Prudente (SP)

Currently the mobile services represent an essential tool in daily life of the population. However, while offering greater convenience to its users, there is growing concern about the harmful effects to human health, derived from daily exposure of the public to electromagnetic fields from radio base stations (RBS), since even today, there is no study proving that longterm exposure to low-level fields are not harmful to health. In Presidente Prudente has not been a study reporting values of measurements of electromagnetic fields from base stations installed in the city. Based on these data, this study aimed to assess the levels of electromagnetic exposure in the city of Presidente Prudente regarding recommended by international bodies, as well as propose measures that can reduce public exposure to electromagnetic fields. For measuring values of electromagnetic fields, we used appliance Electromagnetic Field Meter Portable Digital - DRE-050, the Instrutherm, following the methodology suggested and adapted from the Adilza Condessa Dode’study. In total, 49 points were mapped corresponding to the areas at risk of exposure to electromagnetic fields generated by the substations of power grid, transmission towers and telecommunication towers located in the city of Presidente Prudente (SP)

WiMAX interoperabilidade mundial para acesso de microondas

This paper presents a technique dubbed WiMAX radio link, the IEEE 802.16 was completed in October 2001 and published on April 8, 2002 and is constantly updated, this technology specifies an interface for wireless metropolitan networks (WMAN) and is under control of the WiMAX Forum, which is a group of companies responsible for the dissipation of this technology in the world, the great benefit of this standard is to offer broadband Internet connection in areas where there is no infrastructure such as fiber optics that has a cost higher. The main purpose of this paper is to present the theoretical and technical characteristics of this technology for both the standard for fixed and mobile standard, regulation of frequency bands by the FCC and description of the physical layer, through to basic concepts are used in many other types of radio link and technologies have been adapted and updated for this little-known standard, allowing a greater range and speed, which are specified and differentiate these advancements is one of the contributions of the work done here. After the theoretical conceptualization stage, a real case study has been inserted in this work to demonstrate the effectiveness of this technology deployed. Osteossarcoma apendicular: revisão de literatura

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary bone cancer in dogs. It affects most commonly dogs of big or giant breeds with 7 to 8 years and the etiology is unknown. Osteosarcoma is defined as a bone matrix-producing malignant mesenchymal tumor and has a predilection for the metaphyseal region of appendicular skeleton, however, it can affect axial skeleton and soft tissues. Distal radius is the most commonly affected site. The definitive diagnosis of osteosarcoma can be obtained with history, physical examination, radiographs and biopsy. Lung is the most common organ for metastatic disease. The mainly treatment for osteosarcoma is limb amputation and systemic chemotherapy for metastatic disease control. Limb-sparing surgery is a viable alternative to amputation for dogs with concomitant conditions that impede limb amputation. Palliative treatments for osteosarcoma have been studied such as local and systemic radiotherapy, immunotherapy and biphosphonates. Análise das propriedades físicas em estrutura do tecido ósseo de eqüinos

This project has several objectives: To determine medium values and variations of the density, porosity, humidity, shrinkage volume and the coefficient of mass attenuation of gamma radiation of 59,6 keV of the radioisotope 241Am, using samples of equine radio, in growth and adult. The samples of bones were supplied by the Department of Pathology of University of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics - UNESP campus Botucatu. Bones of the paws front left of two males were used. Of each bone ten samples were removed. Those samples were prepared to just obtain compact bony fabric, being submitted to the rehearsal of determination of the density by the immersion method in water and determination of the coefficient attenuation lineal for the method of attenuation of the radiation of the 241Am, also obtaining your humidity content. Still, they were obtained new samples starting from the ground samples and verified the density of the particles present in that, obtaining the medium value of the coefficient of mass attenuation. The results showed the medium values and significant statistical variations of the density, porosity, humidity, shrinkage volume and coefficient of mass attenuation of gamma radiation of 59, 6 keV of the radioisotope 241Am in the samples, establishing some relationships between of the certain physical parameters with biological aspects and possible existent influences between them

In contemporary times, to which the media is centralized in the hands of a few, it is necessary to understand and discuss its democratization. In this situation it surges a theory that is still maturing, Communication Public, which reflects the communication by the optic of citizen participation. In this sense, the research has as objective the reflection about democracy, the centrality and conglomeration media in society and what is affecting public broadcast organizations. So has too the intention to defend the performance of professional public relations in this context, due to its humanistic and strategic characteristic. Through literature review, observation of programming of Radio FM UNESP Bauru and interviews with employees, it is perceived that the vehicle radio for its intrinsic characteristics has great potential democratization, when this character in public can promote citizenship. There was also observed the demand for professional public relations, assisting the organization to recognize themselves as a social institution, defining its mission, its goals, its vision and policies, with objective to make two-way symmetrical communication to the public

A obra do poeta politradutor Armand Robin: marcas de uma existência em fuga

Armand Robin was a prodigious translator, that is to say: his works were translated into 22 different languages, not to mention his missing texts. During his bulletin on the radio, it was also possible to notice that 18 idioms were fluently received. This poet was notable not only because of his capacity of knowing several languages, but also because of his conception about translation. According to Robin, the meaning was not enough; a target text (TT) must be based on the recreation of the source text (ST), signification by signification; sound by sound, language by language. Since his first book, Ma Vie sans Moi, was released, Robin always wanted his translated texts were presented as works of his own, creating the idea that there was no difference between ST and TT, before giving priority to translation, either in publications or in radio transmissions. In 1942, ÉditionsGallimard published his single “novel”, Le temps qu’ilfait, which was object of studies related to the poet as a translator, emphasizing the pulse of life, which was visible in his TTs. However, in our paper, we are going to observe his production as an author, more specifically his writings, his novel and some of his fragments, in order to deepen the knowledge about his experience and also understand the dramatic and peculiar speech which is present in his writings.

This led people to turn increasingly looking for home automation systems, enterprise and industry for the automation and integration of their systems. The identification by radio frequency is very widespread today for ensuring both agility in handling records data, the reliability of their identification systems, which are increasingly advanced and less susceptible to fraud. Attached to this technology, the use of the database is always very important for the storage of information collected, the area where the MySQL platform is widely used. Using the open source Arduino platform for programming and manipulation of RFID module and LabVIEW software for the union of all these technologies and to develop a user-friendly interface, you can create a highly reliable access control and agility places a high turnover of people. Ensino do conceito de radioatividade utilizando a biografia de Marie Curie

Como objetivo de pesquisa esta monografia buscou coletar dados descritivos que permitissem esclarecer as possibilidades educativas para o ensino de química em uma abordagem contextual utilizando história e filosofia da química e da ciência. Esta monografia trata de uma intervenção feita dentro do cronograma de aulas de uma escola pública de Bauru, em que se buscou levar informações que possibilitassem uma abertura na perspectiva de vida de alunos que estudam e/ou vivem em meio a violência social e doméstica. A intervenção consistiu no estudo da história da descoberta da radioatividade, ensinada através da biografia de Marie Curie, a mulher que denominou o fenômeno dos raios invisíveis de radioatividade, em sua tese de doutorado. Ela também descobriu, por meio da mesma pesquisa que fundamentou a referida tese, dois elementos radioativos, o polônio e o rádio. Para o planejamento da pesquisa e a análise dos dados se utilizou a metodologia qualitativa de pesquisa, com enfoque na pesquisa-ação e técnicas de análise de conteúdo. Para a aplicação dessa aula foi elaborada uma atividade envolvendo história da química e das ciências naturais dentro de uma atividade de leitura. Utilizou-se o livro GÊNIO OBSESSIVO: O MUNDO INTERIOR DE MARIE CURIE de Bárbara Goldsmith como base para os textos utilizados em aula. Foi utilizado o livro MARIE CURIE E A BUSCA PELO RÁDIO de Beverly Birch, como fonte de ilustrações. Essas ilustrações, assim como outras imagens extraídas da internet, foram utilizadas para relacionar os fatos ocorridos durante a pesquisa de Marie, realizada com o auxílio do marido Pierre Curie, que era professor e pesquisador em física e trabalhava com fenômenos relacionados a piezeletricidade, entre outros fenômenos eletromagnéticos. A aula consistiu na aplicação de um questionário inicial para averiguar as idéias prévias que os alunos apresentavam sobre a radioatividade e o contexto...
