Movimentos Sociais no Brasil de 2008 a 2013 - um brevíssimo exame da literatura sobre sua influência na formulação das Políticas Públicas

O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar sumariamente tendências importantes na literatura acadêmica a respeito dos movimentos sociais entre 2008 e 2013 e seu nexo com a formulação de políticas públicas. Ele apresenta os resultados embrionários e iniciais de uma pesquisa ressaltando o caráter dinâmico e complexo do tema, apontando a necessidade de uma avaliação atenta às particularidades que uma avaliação sobre tais movimentos políticos demanda, sugerindo uma “tradução” ou ressignificação enriquecedora da compreensão dos mesmos, em conformidade com a formulação do italiano Antonio Gramsci.

Diagnóstico de gestação em cadelas: aspectos radiográficos e ultrassonográficos

The modernization of image equipaments associate to the veterinary professionals qualification allowed an advance in diagnosis veterinary medicine, and, consequently, in premature pregnancy diagnosis in bitches. Currently, owners and creators search for information related to pregnancy detection, fetal development and viability and litter size determination. Through diagnosis methods as radiology and ultrasonography, associated to clinics aspects, the diagnosis of early pregnancy become more acurated and precise, allowing more quality in the accompaniment of prenatal of these bitches. Ultrasonographic exams help the accompaniment of these pregnancies through of visuals recourses, which can supply information related to pregnancy detection, embrionary and fetal development, fetal viability e litter size determination through fetals mensurations. The radiographic study has as principal indication the fetal counting, and has been the most acurated for this analyses. It may be done after the da s after the luteini ing hormone surge, when occurs the fetal mineralization. Due to its importance in the present time and in small animals clinic, the objective of this study is to discuss the main radiographics and ultrassonographics aspects of the diagnosis of pregnancy in bitches

O regime de metas de inflação no Brasil: um exame teórico e empírico de seu funcionamento

The Inflation targeting regime is a concept of monetary policy which was adopted by several countries in the 90’s; Brazil being among these countries, having adopted it in 1999 after a currency crisis. With it theoretical structure regulated by the New – Classical theory and having as its main characteristic the prior announcement of a numerical target for the inflation, this regime was adopted by countries attempting to achieve a prices stability. The present project is going to explain the theoretical basis of the regime, as well as its implementation process in Brazil and the criticism it received. However, the main focus will be on the discussion of the employment of the IPCA (Consumer Price Index) as a measuring index for Brazil’s inflation

Importância do exame laboratorial no diagnóstico de linfoma em cães e gatos

Lymphoma is a cancer originating in solid hematopoietic tissue and is one of the most common tumors in dogs and cats. Usually the diagnosis is made late, when the disease is at an advanced stage, reducing the success of treatment, affecting the prognosis. Therefore, early diagnosis is the best tool to combat this increasingly common disease in veterinary medicine. Due to the diversity of presentations and forms of the disease, clinical signs are nonspecific and varied making the use of laboratory testing essential to lymphoma diagnosis in order of establishing the most appropriate treatment as quickly as possible, giving the patient a longer survival rate

Cultura, educação e subjetividade: um estudo sobre o ENEM - Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio

This research attempts to analyze the relationship between the National Secondary Education Examination and the design of teaching, specifically in the way of defining what should be taught, in the present National Curriculum identifying clues that help us in the explanation of a conception of teaching and making the confrontation between the evaluation device in this ENEM. We intend to identify, even if there is consistency between what is taught and what is learned in schools, whether it public or private, and it evaluates the evidence as ENEM. This work is part of the Bachelor's Degree in Education Full theme is a critical analysis of the evaluation system ENEM regarding their school pedagogical practices. The overall goal is to bring to light the evaluative perspective envisaged in secondary education as a training practice, regarding the evaluation method levied by the National Examination of Secondary Education, seeking to raise the following reflection: The evaluation addressed in high school according to the National Curriculum meets view of the National Middle School? To answer this question, the work specified in a field research through analysis of evidence applied to the Portuguese Language School students in two schools, one in public and one private school, both in the city of Rio Claro, São Paulo, the analysis on the Matrix Reference ENEM in order to show whether the school pedagogical practice meets the demand of this evaluation system. Percepção de mulheres sobre consulta de enfermagem, exame de papanicolaou e vulvovaginite

The nursing consult (a job exclusive to a nurse), is a great instrument to gynecology, seeing as nurses are of fundamental importance in the prevention of uterine cancer, mostly by the use of the Papanicolau test, the most efficient method in the early detection and prevention of this kind of cancer. In addition to that, this consult includes a breast exam and possibly a vulvovaginitis exam, so that necessary forwardings and exam applications can be done. That being said, the work, in a qualitative analysis has been done in the “Healthcare center and school” in the city of Botucatu – SP, intending to measure the perception of the women in the population, of the Papanicoulau Test, the nursing consults, and their knowledge about vulvovaginitis. Twenty women were interviewed (using semi-structured interviews), and given forms after the nursing consult. The interviews were analysed using Bardin’s content analysis technique. The results show that the women’ reactions to the procedures were positive. Even Though there’s a culture of submission to medicine, and the Papanicolau test is seen by them as a necessary and important (even if unconfortable) procedure in the early prevention and detection of uterine cancer and other diseases, there was little to no knowledge about the signs, symptoms, and transmission methods for those different diseases. It is up to the nurse to facilitate these women’ access to that information, regarding not only the prevention of diseases, but also, and especially, the nursing consult’s relevance on theuterine cancer prevention program

Estratégias Produtivas e Tecnológicas das empresas da Indústria Farmacêutica do Brasil e da Índia: um exame a partir de indicadores aplicados aos fluxos de comércio exterior

This work aims to evaluate the different trajectories in terms of production structure, technological capabilities and performance in international trade of pharmaceutical industries in Brazil and India. For this, we build international trade indicators, based on data provided by the COMTRADE, the UN database for trade. Through the indicators, it is observed that the countries have different results in the catch-up process of the pharmaceutical industry. India has built a productive structure strongly based on generic drugs, with which it is able to greatly meet domestic demand and export to many countries worldwide. Brazil remains in a position of dependence of foreign production, with a high level of imports and exports to the region of Latin America

Resolução por retratamento não cirúrgico de dente com lesão periapical: relato de caso clínico

The development and maintenance of periapical lesion occurs as a result of bacterial infection of the root canal system. Faced with the failure of endodontic treatment, retreatment is the first option with great potential for success, when performed with proper disinfection of the root canal system. Case report: Patient aged 39 years needing dental care show at clinical examination moderate gingival bleeding in the region of tooth 22 and the presence of radiographic periapical bone rarefaction due to unsatisfactory endodontic treatment. It was indicated the endodontic retreatment. We performed procedures to remove the filling material, root canal preparation using manual and mechanical techniques and completion with the use of root canal medication based on calcium hydroxide. After root canal filling, clinical and radiographic success were demonstrated for the case. Conclusion: We conclude that the non-surgical retreatment with disinfection and proper use of medication to the base of calcium hydroxide promoted success after outcome monitoring for 2 years and 8 months (AU)
