Gestão Estratégica: a toxicomania organizacional e a naturalização do sofrimento no trabalho

The general purpose of this study was a reflexive-theoretical analysis, based on the authors of Psycho-Sociology, seeking to understand how to establish working relationships in organizations considered strategic in the contemporary world. To do so, we identify the strategies that these organizations use to hold the individual in theirs meshes of power, emphasizing the effects of the psychological dynamics and the illusion of “drug organization”. Finally, we elucidated some of the major diseases related to working in organizations with strategic management model, which reflect the violence imposed by managerial policy that promotes a moral harassment and naturalization of suffering at work.

Gestão da saúde no trabalho: uma experiência institucional

This article aims to disseminate the results of a university action which occurred through the Extension Course entitled Management and Health at Work, conducted from March to September 2011 and offered by “Coordenadoria de Saúde e Segurança do Trabalhador e Sustentabilidade Ambiental” (a kind of Workers' health and safety and environmental sustainability agency) - an agency managed by “Pró-Reitoria de Administração - PRAd/Unesp”. This action had the audience of the technical and administrative staff of the several Institutes (Units) of UNESP in positions of Leadership and Supervision. The course was proposed to equip managers to deal with issues related to health and safety at work in daily labor. Six hundred managers of all UNESP Institutes participated in the course. The meetings were logistically designed respecting the proximity of the participants’ Institutes. The methodology adopted was based on qualitative techniques such as group discussion, role-plays, analysis of film, reading and discussing texts, together with the preparation of a proposal for health promotion by the participants. As a result it was considered that the course offered a convenient and timely opportunity to reflect on and discuss the theme of health and safety at UNESP, as well as to make leaders and managers effective agents to implement programs of disease prevention and health promotion at work.

Redes sociais na Internet: uma investigação sobre práticas de compartilhamento de arquivos no Facebook

The social networking sites have experienced a large and rapid growth in recent years and bring together millions of users in Brazil and worldwide. Such networks allow adding groups of people with common interests or relationships, enabling members of this group to communicate and exchange information. Some social networks have specific goals, for example, aggregate individuals with common interests and professional relationships. However, they all share information in some way, whether in the form of short texts, photos, videos, among others. Sharing information in files is also a growing activity on the Internet and can be done in various ways, from sending files via email to multiple contacts to make available areas shared by the same contacts. However, applications are not yet available to enable file sharing on Facebook, considered the premier social network today. Given the growing demand for sharing files over the Internet, and a large number of users familiar with the use of these integrated applications for Facebook there is a demand for applications that allow users to share files with their contacts in this social network. This study aims to investigate how users use Facebook, and their practices for file sharing. It is believed that the results will substantiate future projects to develop software for file sharing on Facebook. Due to the exploratory nature of this research, the choice was made for a survey to collect data, applied through the web. From the results obtained, was possible to observe a frequent use of file sharing, but no interest in paid services. Regarding Facebook, was possible to observe their extensive use in both the frequency of access as the hours spent, as well as an increased use of applications (games, quiz, etc.). The full set of results shows a favorable environment for developing applications for sharing files on Facebook.

Gestão ambiental: um novo desafio para os profissionais de recursos humanos?

Current research analyzes the importance of human resources managers in organizational sustainability through the ack-nowledgement of the external variables and innovatory practices, such as environment management. In fact, the latter is a challenge for organizations and consequently for the human resources’ area. Investigation comprised a revision of the literature: theoretical and empirical articles that deal with the role of human resources’ mana-gement and on the environmental issue which is daily in the news. The essay is divided into three parts: the first section emphasizes the role of human resources’ managers; empirical evidences of the activities of HR managers in international contexts are dealt with in the second part; the third section deals with the environmental ma-nagement issue as a new challenge for HR managers. HR managers should acknowledge and incorporate in human resources practice the environmental dimension from the stages of recruitment, selec-tion and training. If people with attitudes and competences in the environment are rewarded, they will contribute towards an effective environmental management and, consequently, improvements in organizational results will materialize.

Evidências da relação entre evolução da gestão ambiental e a adoção de práticas de Green Supply Chain Management no setor eletroeletrônico brasileiro

The objective of this research is to examine if the environmental management evolution is positively related towards the adoption of green supply chain management practices (GSCM) by companies in the electronics sector in Brazil. To reach this objective, a quantitative research was conducted by survey with 100 companies in the electronics sector in Brazil. The collected data were processed using descriptive statistics, Exploratory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The most important results are: in the sample, GSCM practices to the recovery of investment, as the resale of scrap and other waste materials, and the adequacy with legislation and auditing, obtained high scores; and research hypothesis (H1) was confirmed and considered statistically valid, indicating that, in fact, the evolution of environmental management influences the adoption of GSCM practices.

Panorama da agricultura urbana e periurbana: os potenciais de abrangência socioambiental das práticas de AUP

Desde o momento em que o homem passou a aglomerar-se em centros urbanos e formar as cidades, trouxe consigo ainda algumas das práticas que realizava no ambiente rural. Ainda que limitado pela disponibilidade de espaço nas cidades, o hábito de cultivar plantas ornamentais, comestíveis e medicinais, acompanhou o homem, e hoje, mesmo nos maiores centros urbanos pode-se encontrar diversas experiências dessas práticas. O interesse de órgãos públicos, privados e universidades por esse assunto vêm crescendo nas ultimas décadas, nas quais, cada vez mais, percebe-se a urgência de melhorar a qualidade socioambiental nos centros urbanos. A agricultura urbana e periurbana (AUP) tem se mostrado uma ferramenta muito eficaz para lidar com difíceis desafios das grandes cidades, como a gestão dos resíduos sólidos, da escassez de água, da insegurança alimentar e nutricional de populações marginalizadas, da diminuição da biodiversidade, da exclusão social e da má qualidade de vida, entre outras. A AUP mostra-se, além de tudo, muito versátil, podendo ser realizada em diversos contextos ambientais e sociais. Nesse trabalho, compilamos uma série de artigos e textos já publicados sobre esse tema, apresentando os principais conceitos envolvidos. Através de revisão bibliográfica sistematizamos informações teóricas recolhidas e disponibilizando-as de forma sucinta e clara, para que projetos nesse ramo tenham acesso a esse compilado. Inicialmente, agrupamos os referenciais teóricos sobre agricultura urbana a partir do conceito que a define como objeto de estudo. No segundo capítulo abordamos a relação entre as práticas de AUP e a Ecologia, buscando compreender a influência que essas práticas têm no ambiente urbano. No terceiro e último capítulo discutimos o papel que algumas instituições têm para o bom desenvolvimento de iniciativas em AUP. A gestão democrática em uma escola de educação de jovens e adultos

This paper addresses the democratic school management within the school organizations. For this, initially made brief remarks on labor relations, the development of administrative and organizational theories. Later, we reflect on how the se labor relations are organized in the educational environment and what education theoretical contributions to the development of school management in Brazil. Therefore, we discuss the Brazilian educational policies that postulate and legitimate democratic school management. Studies of everyday guided the theoretical basis of this work, we wonder what school subject dealing with the discourse of democratic and participative management. Forward the hypothesis that participatory management should be a prominent space in schools, the aim of this study was to investigate the school management of a municipal school of Youth and Adult Education, which brings in your organization pedagogical foundation and educational principles espoused by Paul Freire. The specific objectives of the study are: a) to investigate and describe how is the organization's management of school youth and adults; b) understand the role of managers; c) check how teachers and administrators understand the process of managing this school. From a methodological point of view the daily life of the studies led this work to procedures and qualitative analysis of ethnographic referring to practices that have occurred in adult education school along with the theoretical foundation. Participated in this research members of the school management group and four teachers of Youth and Adult Education rooms. The results obtained showed that dialogue and democracy go together, that the school is an organization with different world views, which need to be primarily present in the identity of the schools.
