Biologia: da natureza à cultura. Da cultura para onde?

Vivemos um momento do mundo no qual o meio foi denominado pelo geógrafo Milton Santos, como Técnico-científico-informacional. Nesse meio, a produção científica está dominada por estruturas político-mercadológicas, que para sua manutenção e existência, enxergam e tratam os elementos naturais do planeta, como recursos ou instrumentos de uso e, as pessoas, como mão-de-obra e consumidores. O abismo que separa a humanidade da natureza, é um equívoco de percepção e tem criado conseqüências sócio-ambientais que passam a ameaçar as perspectivas de futuro, não só das gerações futuras, mas das gerações atuais. A ciência moderna, ainda orientada pelo pensamento cartesiano do século XVII, a ciência que tem como marca mais forte o “só acredito, vendo”, não vê que perdeu a objetividade e não está apta a responder aos problemas do mundo contemporâneo. Até mesmo porque, muitos deles são criados e perpetuados por esse instrumento de poder manipulado pela lógica capitalista. O título desse trabalho tem como intuito incitar uma reflexão séria a respeito do rumo que estamos dando à nossa existência no Planeta Terra enquanto seres biológico-culturais, com o objetivo de inspirar mudanças interiores capazes de gerar mudanças significativas em nossa cultura. Mudanças que ao menos cheirem a esperança no que se refere às possibilidades de melhorias em nosso quadro socioambiental. Vale salientar que “O Governo”, “A Ciência” e “O Mercado”, não são entidades obscuras que assombram nossas vidas, são pessoas como nós, para não dizer “nós mesmos”. This branch of engineering is necessary the gathering, stock and analysis of large quantity of data to validate or refuse the many studies produced about it The CENDAT proposed a project to collect data on induced voltages in distribution lines and current waveform of the lightning, but a difficulty that arose was the accumulation of data due to lack of manpower available to catalog all the data collected. Thinking in this difficulty, the engineer Acacio Silva Neto CENDAT´s researcher with trainees began to develop a program to solve this problem. The need for housing in Brazil is very large, and despite government efforts to address this issue, the housing deficit is too large. When analyzing markets without this problem, it is concluded that one of the factors that influence this model is the construction adopted by Brazilian society that is in masonry. Alternatively, the system can be used in constructive Wood-frame. To apply this system in Brazil, one can say that the workmanship and the materials available to meet the demand would be created in a short period of adjustments and capabilities, but identifies himself as one of the biggest problems the planning and management of works. And one of the tools for solving this problem is to use a checklist of the activities of constructive process, avoiding forgetting or not aware of the activities necessary to complete the project

With the increasing development of the brazilian sheep production, the producer was forced to achieve higher production rates. The use of artificial insemination has been shown as an important biotechnological tool in animal breeding. Among the various existing techniques, the superficial cervical insemination with fresh semen is demonstrating fertility rates between 70 and 80% (AISEN, 2008), in addition to its applicability, it does not require sophisticated equipment or manpower to highly specialized implementing these plans greater possibility in your job to maximize reproduction and greater dissemination of superior genetic material on the property. Este trabalho tem como objetivo demonstrar como o Nordeste se configura como fator dinâmico no processo de desenvolvimento do sistema capitalista brasileiro.Será analisado o significado do retrocesso econômico que a região sofreu, e como isso levou o Nordeste a se tornar um fornecedor de mão-de-obra e de capital para a região centro-sul, pólo dinâmico da economia. Implica também em ver o processo de industrialização do Brasil visando à produção e a acumulação e não o consumo interno, assim o Nordeste não representa um potencial a ser trabalhado. Necessita-se então caracterizar o tipo de dinâmica existente ente a estrutura agrária nordestina e o processo de desenvolvimento industrial brasileiro, que levou o nordeste a participar ativamente desse processo

Sistemas técnicos agrícolas e cafeicultura científica globalizada no sul de Minas Gerais

The study aims to analyze the mechanization of the main coffee growing region in the south of Minas Gerais, in force, especially from the 1970s. But you get new content from the1990s, with the introduction of new information technologies. The use of machines in production processes appear as one of the great transformations of coffee in the period modern after globalization, requiring a labor more specialized, although resulting in unemployment in rural areas. So in the period of globalization new technologies gradually replace manual work. In the coffee farm, the old ways of the production (that handed down from father to son) aren't accepted by the global scientific agriculture (Santos, 2000:88). They are considered inefficient and low quality, but not attendant of patterns the international market. The national companies producing agricultural machines for coffee with emphasis on the company Pinhalense Agricultural Machinery SA believe that the producers of the region are its biggest customers in the country, considering the degree of mechanization more pronounced compared to other coffee growing regions. Analyze the importance of the coffee region with a contribution in the indicators of export and trade surplus in the Brazil and State of Minas Gerais

The current competitiveness of the market has generated the need to minimize the cost of production companies in any field of activity, aimed at reducing the cost of production, the cost of purchasing and manufacturing processes interruption of manufacturing processes for possible maintenance. In this sense, companies are seeking methods to improve and streamline their production line. In ceramics industries, cooking the pieces is the portion of the production process that influences the total costs. The oven construction and maintenance represent a large portion embedded in the cost of the final ceramic product. The proposal for a type of oven for baking the parts that takes into account a better burning process, knowledge of the causes of disease and cost analysis of purchasing both of the constituent materials and labor for its construction, can be significant importance to the composition of final product costs or time analysis of ROI. It is proposed a streamlined design of an oven that takes into account the positive characteristics of the furnaces already built and that the experience has endorsed, and also others that are added at the end, lead to a reduction in production cost, the cost income and the number of pathologies arising from wear of the furnace along the lifespan. Therefore, according to the experiences gained over the years in the construction of furnaces and experience of manufacturing of ceramic, it is proposed a project that has an oven improvement over those now being built and that include, among other topics, economy in fuel burning, streamlining the building process
