Aspectos político-legais da educação do campo

The article describes political and legal aspects of Brazilian education, through the analysis of Brazilian Constitutions, its amendments and major educational laws and resolutions in force until 2012, highlighting those that make direct reference to rural education and country education. It intends to identify the time when the educational legislation has incorporated the term “country education”, one of the struggles of the Movement for a Country Education. The use of the term “country education” will occur only in the first decade of this century. Despite the difficulties in consolidating country education, clearly the incorporation of this issue in the draft of the new National Education Plan (2011/2020), under discussion in Brazilian Congress.

Análise da teoria evolucionista nos livros didáticos do PNLD - 2012 na educação básica

A preocupação com o ensino da Evolução não é recente. Diversos pesquisadores fazem apontamentos de como é frequente nos livros de didáticos de biologia adotados no Brasil, a abordagem do tema como uma teoria acabada concluída e, desprovida de contextualização histórica para compreensão por parte dos alunos de como os conceitos foram desenvolvidos ao longo do tempo. Os pesquisadores relatam que a maior dificuldade dos alunos em compreender os conceitos ou a teoria da evolução está nos recorrentes equívocos conceituais e históricos presentes nos livros didáticos. Portanto, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo elaborar uma revisão bibliográfica, do que os teóricos especialistas na área do ensino de ciências têm apresentado sobre a Teoria da Evolução e o Ensino de Evolucionismo e qual tem sido a abordagem nos livros didáticos para o ensino público. A pesquisa constitui-se de análise bibliográfica, desenvolvida com base em material já elaborado, consultas em fontes bibliográficas do tipo: livros de leitura corrente de divulgação e publicações periódicas. Sendo a análise desse material de cunho qualitativo. A primeira etapa consistiu da escolha do tema e um levantamento preliminar do assunto. As etapas seguintes foram: o levantamento bibliográfico, a partir da problematização estabelecida, busca das fontes, leitura e fichamento do material. Para o fichamento dos livros didáticos o método utilizado foi fazê-lo em forma de registros. Foram feitos registros de seis coleções aprovadas PNDL de 2012: Bio. Lopes; Rosso, 2010. A Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos reúne o conjunto de princípios, diretrizes, metas e ações para o gerenciamento ambientalmente adequado dos resíduos. A geração de resíduos sólidos urbanos e sua influência na gestão urbano-ambiental municipal de Sorocaba/SP

In Brazil, rates of urban solid waste generation increase proportionally more than the annual growing of the population. The government, from its federal authority to the municipal spheres, faces increasing challenges for Urban and Environmental management regarding to solid waste in general and, in particular, municipal solid waste. Financial problems added to public health problems that worsen with the serious environmental impacts generated every year. In August 2010 Brazil the PNRS (National Policy on Solid Waste) was approved and sanctioned in which represented a true watershed in the country as a legal framework extremely ambitious and visionary. This work presents the successes and challenges that the municipality of Sorocaba/SP is facing after more than three years of PNRS sanctioned to conduct an Urban and Environmental management suited to the new legal bases towards the subject of solid waste. The results show a large gap between the content proposed by the law and the technical, financial and temporal reality to practical implementation by the municipal government. New legislation and federal incentives, consortiums among the cities, flexible deadlines and environmental education at all levels are certainly some proposals to catalyze processes that aim to solve and overcome the challenges of solid waste

Cultura, educação e subjetividade: um estudo sobre o ENEM - Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio

This research attempts to analyze the relationship between the National Secondary Education Examination and the design of teaching, specifically in the way of defining what should be taught, in the present National Curriculum identifying clues that help us in the explanation of a conception of teaching and making the confrontation between the evaluation device in this ENEM. We intend to identify, even if there is consistency between what is taught and what is learned in schools, whether it public or private, and it evaluates the evidence as ENEM. This work is part of the Bachelor's Degree in Education Full theme is a critical analysis of the evaluation system ENEM regarding their school pedagogical practices. The overall goal is to bring to light the evaluative perspective envisaged in secondary education as a training practice, regarding the evaluation method levied by the National Examination of Secondary Education, seeking to raise the following reflection: The evaluation addressed in high school according to the National Curriculum meets view of the National Middle School? To answer this question, the work specified in a field research through analysis of evidence applied to the Portuguese Language School students in two schools, one in public and one private school, both in the city of Rio Claro, São Paulo, the analysis on the Matrix Reference ENEM in order to show whether the school pedagogical practice meets the demand of this evaluation system. A política nacional de resíduos sólidos e o plano diretor municipal de Rio Claro/SP: o uso como instrumento para a gestão urbano-ambiental municipal

Due to the large economic development associated with the growing consumerist lifestyle of our capitalist society, the problem of uncontrolled solid waste generation worsens, which one is considered to be one of the main responsible factors for environmental degradation. As a case study and in order to solve the problem of large generation of municipal solid waste, this work aims to study the “plano diretor” of Rio Claro city, São Paulo. The “plano diretor” is a municipal law that provides guidelines for the administration of the city, which include guidelines for the management of solid waste generated in the city. The guidelines required in order to write the “plano diretor” are provided by the national law “estatuto da cidade”, providing information for the planning and development of the cities, as well as the management of the urban environment. However, only the “estatuto da cidade” does not provide enough instructions for creating management plans in order to solve the many problems from the urban environment. Thus, studies have been done about urban and environmental management, to understand how municipal management plans should be structured. As a form of seeking information that can complement the “plano diretor” to the creation of policies for managing solid waste of the city, the “Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos”(PNRS) emerges in 2010 as a document which provides principles, objectives and guidelines to create plans for Solid Waste Management at the national, state, regional and municipal levels. Therefore, it was possible to make a joint analysis of the “plano diretor” of Rio Claro with the PNRS to identify what is already done within the municipality about the solid waste management, and identify which aspects are most significant in the municipal solid waste management that the national policy provides. Políticas públicas em educação ambiental no contexto da Conferência Nacional de Educação - CONAE 2010

n this paper I pose some questions that I systematized after taking part in a colloquium proposed by the National Conference on Education (CONAE 2010) to discuss the theme “Environmental Education and Curriculum Contextualization”. Regarding public environmental education policies, I try to indicate some perspectives that are both coherent with what Brazilian educators and environmentalists have been proposing and considered necessary for the consolidation of an Articulated National Education System. I present a synthesis of the environmental education proposals systematized in the CONAE Reference Document, which was designed as a guide to state and local conferences. I make an effort to carry out a preliminary analysis of both the process and the content of the public environmental education proposals systematized in the Essential Documents (Volumes I and II), Thematic Plenary Meeting Documents, and Final Document. Furthermore, I try to present a short synthesis of the prevailing tendencies of educational policies in Brazil in the last decades, pointing out the meaning and need of social activism for the construction of public policies for education, in general, and for environmental education, specifically.

Meio ambiente e educação ambiental no Brasil: considerações a partir de diretrizes institucionais e de orientações pedagógicas

Considerando número expressivo de alunos matriculados nas diferentes etapas e modalidades de ensino no Brasil e o que estabelece a Constituição Federal de 1988, sobre a incumbência do Poder Público de promover a Educação Ambiental em todos os níveis de escolarização, pretendemos analisar, neste artigo, aspectos referentes aos marcos legais e às orientações pedagógicas da Educação Ambiental em nosso país. Tomamos como referência a perspectiva de alguns autores brasileiros que estudam o tema e analisamos as principais diretrizes legais da Educação Ambiental no Brasil e as recomendações dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais referentes a Meio Ambiente. Diante dos sérios problemas ambientais que enfrentamos, acreditamos que a Educação Ambiental pode contribuir para transformações nos indivíduos e na sociedade. Defendemos, também, a importância da pesquisa em Educação Ambiental e consideramos que o conhecimento gerado pela pesquisa pode oferecer subsídios para ações que promovam mudanças capazes de garantir um planeta ambientalmente seguro e saudável.

Projeto dança-cidadã: uma articulação da Cia Estável de Dança de Bauru, poder público e comunidade na promoção da arte-educação

In recent years, the concept of art education has been changing substantially the artistic and cultural education in the Brazilian educational system, particularly in relation to the formation of a critical awareness and practice of citizenship. In this process, the Community Public Relations and Public Communication excel in fostering alliances between government and community. Based on literature review and authors debates, such as Geertz, Santos, White, Freire, Araujo, Barbosa, Kunsch e Peruzzo. Besides the analysis of important materials, official documents and Brazilian projects involving art, culture and education, such as Research-Action Report 2013, the National Plan for Culture, the National Education Plan and the Municipal Act 6119; this paper seeks to explicit this affirmation, assuming the social transformation aiming a full citizenship, as a motivational factor. In this paper we also present a plan that includes a project in art education for the Stable Dance Company and the public elementary schools in Bauru SP
