Análise da expressão do gene CaPox que codifica uma peroxidase de classe III envolvida na interação do cafeeiro com nematóides

A caracterização e isolamento do gene com expressão específica em raiz de café (Coffea arabica) que codifica uma peroxidase (CaPOX) e suas respectivas regiões promotoras, permitiu realizar a caracterização da expressão desse gene em reposta a estresse biótico (infecção por nematóides) assim como a análise funcional do seu promotor. Promotores tecido-específicos responsáveis pela regulação de genes responsivos a estresses bióticos tornam-se fundamentais em programas biotecnológicos que visam o aumento da resistência e tolerância vegetal. Partindo desse princípio, realizou-se a quantificação da expressão relativa do gene CaPOX em raízes de café utilizando plantas de Coffea arabica de um cultivar susceptível (Mundo Novo) e de outro cultivar resistente (IAC 388-17-1) a nematóides, respectivamente. Em paralelo utilizou- se plantas transgênicas de tabaco (Nicotiana tabacum SR1) contendo a versão completa do promotor do gene CaPOX em fusão transcricional ao gene repórter uidA (que codifica a β-glucuronidase; GUS) . A partir disso, pode-se observar que o gene CaPOX tem sua expressão aumentada em resposta a infecção por nematóides, sendo que a indução observada ocorre nos tempos iniciais pós-inoculação. Da mesma maneira, o promotor do gene CaPOX é responsivo a infecção por nematóides, sendo ativado nos tempos iniciais pós-inoculação

A dança como mediadora na formação da criança

This paper analyzes the dance, considered the oldest of the Arts, inserted in Art and Education. When you talk about dance as art, sought to articulate dance, body movement and music, because all these aspects are crucial when it comes to education in dance. Thus, this paper, by analyzing the meaning of dance over time, also made a parallel with the evolution of the concept of body that, throughout history, became the focus of sin, to currently be seen in optical freedom and autonomy, looking up from childhood, the formation of body awareness and embodiment, as a basis for identity and the formation of a positive self-image. In describing the evolution of dance, between different societies, it was shown that the tool is the dancer's own body and that for its use, it is necessary to look at its interior, human vitality, musicality and sensitivity. Proved that dance since the beginning, has been seen as a medium body, as well as desires and deepest sorrows of humanity, linked to religion, ritual or ceremonial, reaching today the freest expression of body, in modern dance. Given these considerations, based on theoretical frameworks, emphasized the importance of dance in middle school, focusing on their educational role and liberating, showing that it must be used as a tool for teaching and learning, and the development of children , given its interdisciplinary character, this Crosscutting Themes in elementary school and early childhood education curriculum benchmark. The paper concludes that, despite legislation and official documents require training for dance in the school curriculum, very little is done in this direction, which shows that there is still a choice of schools, the immobility of the pupils

As relações públicas em parceria com a ouvidoria e Ombudsman: gestão e ajuste para um relacionamento eficaz

This work presents as the central theme the management conducted by the Public Relations' professional regarding the custom relations' channels, focusing on Ombudsman. Its main objective is to discuss, reflect and establish a parallel between these activities, highlighting the importance of these channels on the organization’s communication and relationship process with their customers. Split in three chapters, it begins the discussion about the terminology in Ombudsman, from the meaning and concept of the terms to the comparison with other relationship means with the customer. It is a part of the study a brief history about organizations and their changes over the years, emphasizing the importance of customers and relations for the success of the modern day organizations, considering the Public Relations in this context. The discussion concludes establishing a parallel between the Ombudsman channels and the meaning of public relations in its management, regarding the relevancy of the subject in a highly competitive scenario, in which the customer/person, as a change agent, can be the responsible for the success or failure of organizations. The study tries to focus on showing the importance of the skills and competencies of the Public Relations for the fore mentioned channels, which are not well defined yet.

Sensores de amônia à base de polianilina preparados com impressora jato de tinta

Neste trabalho, apresenta-se o desenvolvimento de um sensor de gás amônia sobre substrato de papel, impresso por jato de tinta térmico. Para a realização do trabalho formulou-se uma “tinta”4 de polianilina (PANI), adequada para uso na impressora térmica. Neste tipo de impressão, é necessário que a tinta de PANI seja preparada de forma que a maior parte do seu volume seja de água. A PANI, em seu estado desdopado, foi dissolvida em n-metil-2-pirrrilidona (NMP), e com a adição de água em determinadas condições de preparo e proporção, foi possível formar uma tinta de PANI/NMP/H2O estável e adequada para o uso na impressora térmica, podendo-se assim depositar filmes de PANI sobre substratos flexíveis, como por exemplo, diversos tipos de papéis. Neste trabalho, tintas de PANI foram depositadas sobre papel comum (sulfite) e papel fotográfico (glossy). A caracterização morfológica, por microscopia ótica, indicou que a qualidade dos filmes foi satisfatória em termos de uniformidade e homogeneidade. A resistividade de superfície dos filmes de PANI, sobre substratos de papel sulfite e fotográfico, é da ordem de 1x109 / , quando desdopado, e 1x104 / , quando dopado com vapor de ácido clorídrico (HCl). As caracterizações elétricas AC sugerem que os filmes de PANI desdopados, sobre ambos os substratos, se comportam similarmente a um circuito equivalente RC, formado por um resistor e um capacitor em paralelo. Conectando-c: a influência da internet na vida dos portadores de Hepatite C

Hepatitis C is a disease that affects approximately four million Brazilians. It is a rare disease with symptoms but with a treatment that involves marked secondary effects. The silence of their symptoms, however, socially projected, build the social imaginary figures that send feelings and prejudices, being born therefore the social stigma. This situation fundamentally affects the welfare of their subjects. In this aspect, this research traces a parallel between the situation experienced by patients with hepatitis C and the use for these individuals from the World Wide Web and its interactive tools on overcoming limits the disease and in the reconstruction of their social identities.

Comparação da eficiência térmica de trocadores de calor no laboratório de sistemas térmicos da Faculdade de Engenharia

This work aims to verify and compare the efficiency of heat exchangers used in the thermal systems laboratory at Faculdade de Engenharia do Campus de Guaratinguetá - UNESP. Basically, it has been studied two types of heat exchangers: plate type, operating in parallel flow and counter-flow, shell and tube type and also operating in parallel flow and counter flow. Initially it has been presented the didactic equipment and procedures for use of these heat exchangers in the proposed experiments. With the results obtained from the experiments, comparisons were made in order to define the behavior of the heat exchangers regarding some variables. In the study, one comes to the conclusion that the results from shell and tube type of heat exchanger, used in the thermal systems lab, are superior in all conditions analyzed

Butoh e a educação: o corpo como mídia mínima e a metáfora da resistência : entre o peso da gravidade e o da sociedade há sempre um buraco por onde a vida escapa

Com base numa experiência pessoal com a dança e leituras sobre butoh, o trabalho traça um paralelo entre o corpo na dança butoh e o corpo na educação, pensando como o corpo do educando é cerceado a ponto de não conseguir criar possibilidades de liberdade e resultando por isso numa indisciplina como grito de socorro. O primeiro meio de comunicação é o corpo, é nossa mídia mínima e é o primeiro a ser domesticado na escola e na sociedade. O trabalho busca caminhos pelo labirinto procurando como esse corpo poderia encontrar manifestações expressivas no meio da pressão e prisão em que é inserido na sociedade e, consequentemente, na escola, mostrando como exemplo os caminhos que o butoh criou como forma de resistência. Com apoio de Christine Greiner e Maura Baiocchi, procura decifrar como os dançarinos de butoh se manifestam contra esse meio opressor que impôs ao Japão uma cultura ocidental indo contra, rotulando e desrespeitando as nuances da cultura japonesa. Exercitando um butoh com as palavras, Clarice Lispector serve de inspiração à pesquisa, dando pinceladas que mostram quão profundo pode ser um movimento artístico quando se tem o corpo intenso e inteiro na criação, como ela tem. Uma Nova Abordagem do Ciclo Reprodutivo dos Machos e Fêmeas, e da Origem e Desenvolvimento dos Oócitos dos Ostariophysi e Perciformes Neotropicais Aplicada a Representantes da Série Otophysi, Gymnotus sp. (Gymnotidae), Hoplias Malabaricus (Erythrinidae), Sorubim Lima (Pimelodidae) e Tanichthys Albonubes (Cyprinidae), e dos Perciformes, Cichla Temensis (Cichlidae)

Nos peixes, durante a vida reprodutiva o desenvolvimento gonadal é cíclico e anual. As alterações estruturais das gônadas de machos e fêmeas provêm parâmetros úteis para a sua classificação macroscópica e microscópica. Porém, o desenvolvimento das células germinativas, nem sempre é consoante com os diferentes tipos de classificação e, machos e fêmeas nem sempre parecem concatenados. Neste estudo, aplicando-se propostas recentes, utilizadas primariamente para peixes derivados, notadamente os Perciformes marinhos, e tomando como modelo experimental representantes da série Otophysi, Hoplias malabaricus (Characiformes), Tanichthys albonubes (Cypriniformes), Sorubim lima (Siluriformes) e Gymnotus sp. (Gymnotiformes), e dos Perciformes Neotropicais, Cichla temensis, foram descritos, comparativamente, os eventos iniciais da oogênese e da espermatogênese, assim como o desenvolvimento oocitário a fim de traçar um paralelo entre grupos basais e derivados. A partir dos resultados, verificou-se que a maioria dos eventos morfológicos durante o desenvolvimento oocitário é similar entre grupos basais e derivados. Os Perciformes de água doce divergem dos grupos basais por duas características: a presença de inclusões lipídicas, que surgem no citoplasma perinuclear após o início da formação dos alvéolos corticais e deposição de vitelo e por uma tênue proteólise do vitelo durante a maturação final. A foliculogênese e espermatogênese não apresentam divergências e parecem ser processos conservados entre os Teleostei. Durante a fase de Regeneração, os eventos iniciais desses processos em fêmeas e machos, respectivamente, são responsáveis por altos índices de proliferação das células germinativas, quando comparado às demais fases. Efeitos da variação do teor de umidade da madeira no processo de lixamento

The process of sanding wood is little known and industries use it in a practical way without having studied their best conditions before. There are few studies involving this type of machining. On this basis, this paper studied the effects of varying moisture content of the wood surface quality after the sanding process. It was used a sanding machine with flat horizontal cut parallel to the fibers, using: 02 different species (Pinus elliottii and Corymbia citriodora); 01 sanding abrasive (aluminum oxide) and 03 different particle size abrasives ( P80 , P100 and P120 ) . Initially, the pieces were acclimatized ( 2 ± 7% , 12% and 17% ± 2 ± 2 ) and subsequently passed by the sanding process, and therefore, the surface roughness was analyzed. For each condition, were performed 06 repetitions totaling 54 trials for each species. We analyzed the effects of wood moisture by capturing the power sanding, rougheness, acoustic emission and maximum temperature during the sanding process. The variation of moisture content produced changes in the surface quality of the finished parts, and these changes were more marked in Pinus than Corymbia. During the sanding process of the specimens with 7 % and 12 % humidity, there was a lower noise emission, power consumption and heating surface. When checking the roughness of these parts after this process, it was observed that the surface quality of them were superior in the parts sanded containing 17 % moisture

Urbanização de favelas: da espontaneidade à cidade formal

O presente Trabalho Final de Graduação analisou projetos de urbanização de favelas em paralelo com algumas urbanizações feitas nos tecido das cidades medievais que também possuem um traçado inicial de origem espontânea. A partir dessa análise, a pesquisa teve como objetivo a busca de experiências técnicas e de gestão, a partir de bases bibliográficas e visitas em campo, nesses locais de diferentes contextos e, a partir disso, discutir soluções urbanísticas que foram bem‐resolvidas ou dificuldades encontradas nas intervenções. A metodologia empregada para a análise baseou‐se na revisão bibliográfica através das bibliotecas da Universidade Estadual Paulista, da Universidade de São Paulo e do Centro de Documentação da Câmara Municipal de Évora, além do acesso a bibliotecas digitais, como a Base Dedalus da Universidade de São Paulo, a Biblioteca Digital da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, a BAE da Universidade Estadual de Campinas, a Minerva da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a BU da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, BIB da Universidade de Évora e a Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. Os resultados que foram obtidos buscaram responder perguntas como: quais as questões interessantes a se considerar a partir da análise do projeto – técnicas e de gestão? No caso das favelas, quando houve a remoção, isso foi feito por motivos técnicos pertinentes? E a questão da acessibilidade diante de casos de uma ocupação em encostas com acessos perpendiculares às curvas de nível? Como tornar o local acessível a todos? Isso já foi alguma vez pensado e solucionado? Quais as situações que devem ser observadas para se determinar se deverá ter ou não uma realocação das famílias? A partir dessa avaliação buscou‐se criar, ainda que minimamente, subsídios teóricos para novos projetos de urbanização e entender a efetiva importância sociológica na construção do “habitat humano”

Desenvolvimento de software para exibição de exames de eletrocardiograma

The main objective is to create a software, using C++ language, for reading and exhibiting in a graphic an Electrocardiogram (ECG) wave. The data is recorded as a FM modulated signal and compressed using Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation (ADPCM). The signal have this characteristics because it was acquired using an experimental equipment, this equipment is the result of research made by the professor who supervised this work. FM demodulation techniques in discrete time, discrete filters and digital signal processing are some of the topics that can be found in this essay. Some concepts about the human heart and about ECG waves are also briefly introduced. These concepts are necessary for understanding the final evaluation of the software performance. The development is partly made using MATLAB. Most of the functions that are used on the software are first tested and designed in MATLAB environment. In the end, an evaluation is done comparing the results that are expected with the ones that MATLAB presents and the ones that the developed software presents

O advento de novas matrizes energéticas no Brasil: experiências da implantação do PNPB em Mirante do Paranapanema e a produção de biodiesel em Mauá, Estado de São Paulo

Faced with the global discussion about the development of new alternative energy sources, this work tries to contribute to the understanding of the introduction of biodiesel in the energy market, identifying the barriers in the social logic, economic and productive in different spaces, rural and urban. Based on the guidelines of the National Biodiesel Production and Use Program (PNPB), it intended to accompany the implementation of public policies in relation to family farmers settled in the Pontal, located in the western region of São Paulo. In parallel, we will analyze the organizational structure and logistics of the production of biodiesel in the city, although it does not dependent on agricultural production and it is not a target of public policies, it takes advantage of the demand created by PNPB when it comes to increasing the amount of biodiesel blended with mineral origin diesel. The activity examined in the urban space is the collection of used frying oil held by Ecosanta Biofuels, a company located in the town of Maua, São Paulo metropolitan region. Reflexões sobre a prática pedagógica nas atividades de ensino: monitoria, no ensino médio em escola particular e estadual em Rio Claro

The difficulties related to physics teaching are related to methodology, that hinder learning, because some physical concepts beyond the common sense of most students. Just as poor training of some physics instructors in teaching is pedagogical difficulties. And also factors of infrastructure, heterogeneity in students' previous training etc.. It is proposed aim of this work to use reflection of teaching practice as a methodology. Practiced in a private school, mostly state and, in high school in Rio Claro. The method consists of preparing a daily pedagogical practice in parallel to the development of teaching, for analysis and identification of factors that result in improving the teaching of physics and physics teacher qualification

Mapeamento da ilha da Trindade, Atlântico Sul

The area chosen for this study is the island of Trinidade, which is located 1167 km off the Brazilian coast, in parallel Victory at 20 ° 30'S and 29 º 19'W, being the most easterly point of our continent. The isolation of oceanic island of Trinidade leaves no noticeable that she is part of a large submarine volcanic chain oriented east-west lineament known as Vitória- Trindade. Along with the island of Martin Vaz, who is Federal Territory is administered by the Navy of Brazil. Both correspond to Source alkaline volcanic islands. The area of the island of Trinidad has approximately 10 km2. Práticas corporais complementares: um estudo sobre a antiginástica

The concept of physical education emerged in the XIX century through the European gymnastic methods, initially for the purpose of asserting the sovereignty of the nationality of countries, by means of exaltation of patriotism of the masses and the physical preparation for military wars. Nowadays, the cult of the ideal body has changed, becoming the unceasing desire within each society, according to its characteristics of established standards, most of the time denying the genetic determinations of each ethnicity. This social phenomenon has generated openness and encouragement to the fitness market on the rise, eager in supporting the aspirations of the cult of the body”, representing the huge seek of the idea of a healthy body and an aesthetic appearance acceptable in today's society. Parallel to this, the Body Awareness Gymnastics, also known as Technical or Complementary Practices, were introduced in Brazil in the 70s, presenting as main themes the body awareness, the mind-body relationship, and against the ideals of body training. According to authors, the pioneering technique of the movements of alternative practices in Brazil was Antiginástica of Thérèse Bertherat. Therefore, this study aims to harmonize the complementary body practices of the physical education area through literature review of published works by the author Thérèse Bertherat, entitled The body has its reasons, The body communication system, Stations of the body, The Tiger´s Den and When the body is consent. The work also includes the contribution of a particular reading of the researcher, from the experiences of the practices carried out in order to enrich the reporting work through their records, the results obtained from the experiential process
