Avaliação ambiental em empresas do distrito industrial Antônio Crepaldi, Presidente Prudente/SP

The sustainable development is the center of many discussions about the environment, economy and society. Environmental issues bring out problems with the fauna and flora, water resources, land use, population growth, residues, basic sanitation, and others. In this sense, the aim of the present work was to develop an environmental diagnostics and propose measures to mitigate the most significant environmental impacts generated by four enterprises in Antonio Crepaldi Industrial District, located at the city of Presidente Prudente/SP. In the study, it was used the methodology proposed by Moreira (2006), and it was done the following activities: monitoring and analyses of the production process, identification of potential environmental aspects and impacts; assessment of the impacts according to its nature, relevance and significance; proposition of measures to mitigate the critical impacts. As a final result, it was obtained an environmental diagnosis about the situation of each of the four companies studied, and it was possible to know the level of criticality of the impacts in each one, and proposing mitigation measures to control or minimizing them, bringing many benefits to the organization

Avaliação da qualidade de cápsulas de finasterida manipuladas na Farmácia Escola “Prof. Dr. Antônio Alonso Martinez”

Medicamentos manipulados são preparados nas farmácias ou nos serviços farmacêuticos hospitalares pelo profissional farmacêutico ou sob sua direta responsabilidade, a partir de prescrições médicas ou de fórmulas inscritas no Formulário Nacional ou Formulários Internacionais reconhecidos pela Anvisa. No Brasil, o consumo desses produtos mostra um crescimento importante no cenário da Saúde Pública. A finasterida é um fármaco representativo de uma grande parcela desse mercado por seu fácil acesso e alta eficácia. Contudo, a manipulação deste produto deve ser realizada com bastante cautela, por ser um medicamento de baixa dose. Nesse meio, a Farmácia-Escola “Prof. Dr. Antonio Alonso Martinez” conquista a confiança da população de Araraquara e região há muitos anos. A fim de se fundamentar essa confiança, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar cápsulas de finasterida manipuladas na Farmácia Escola supracitada por Cromatografia Líquida de Alta Eficiência (CLAE), utilizando metodologia devidamente validada. Foram analisados parâmetros como teor e uniformidade de conteúdo das cápsulas, bem como teor da matéria-prima e da mistura de pós destinados ao preenchimento de cápsulas. Os resultados encontrados apresentam-se dentro dos critérios adotados pelas Farmacopeias Americana e Europeia, uma vez que a Farmacopeia Brasileira ainda não tem monografia inscrita da finasterida e dos respectivos medicamentos

Diagóstico ambiental de empreendimentos do distrito industrial Antônio Crepaldi – Presidente Prudente/SP

Recently, the environmental concern has grown due to the higher awareness about the availability and the importance of natural resources for survival on the Earth. So, laws and regulations were implemented aiming the environmental preservation. It has being developed new systems, technologies and techniques in order to minimize wastage of resources and minimize waste generation that may cause environmental impacts, in order to abide by the laws and regulations. These techniques and systems have been developed mostly for the industrial sector, because it’s one of the most responsible for the waste generation and impacts. One of the most employed systems is the environmental management, performed during the environmental diagnosis of the area/activity. So, this study aimed the environmental assessment and the establishment of proposals for the mitigation of the most significant environmental impacts generated in five industries of the Antonio Crepaldi industrial district – Presidente Prudente, in order to contribute to environmental issues and provide greater efficiency in the productive process of these industries... Via Silva percurso cultural e midiateca José Antônio da Silva são José do Rio Preto - SP

Com base nos estudos das obras pictóricas e literárias do artista José Antônio da Silva, bem como de alguns lugares que marcaram sua história na cidade de São José do Rio Preto, foram identificados alguns pontos importantes que nos ajudam a compreender melhor a representatividade da figura desse artista para a cidade, principalmente em uma época de importantes mudanças socioeconômicas, no que diz respeito à modernidade “imposta” a partir da década de 1950. Os principais pontos identificados se concentram ao longo de um eixo, denominado no trabalho como Via Silva. A proposta do trabalho é conectar esses pontos, por meio de um percurso cultural urbano, transformando-os em paradas. O objetivo desse percurso, além de exibir a produção artística de José Antônio da Silva, é fazer ver, por meio da conexão física e simbólica entre esses pontos, a memória dos elementos formadores da cultura local, que por muito tempo e até hoje insistem em ser apagados ou esquecidos pela sociedade riopretense. Ou seja, é construir uma memória em movimento através de um percurso com paradas em lugares que dialogam com a pintura de Silva e com sua marcante passagem pela cidade - principalmente em uma época em que a cultura caipira se manifestava de maneira mais forte. O discurso publicitário em foco: questões sobre dialogismo e gênero do dicurso

The subject of this research is the publicity discourse, in its configuration as speech genres, according to theoretical-methodological perspective in Bakhtinian Studies. Considering that there are infinite fields of human communication, Bakhtin says that there is also infinity of speech genres. However, according to the author, every sphere of human activity produces, and even requires, certain genres, with theirs thematic, compositional and stylistics aspects defined according to social-ideological values that materialize in that sphere and in the dialogue in which the texts are produced. The objective of this research is to study, according to this theoretical-methodological perspective, a print advertising piece by the Brazilian Federal Government, conveyed in the Língua Portuguesa magazine, with themes concerning the national public education. We analyze how the image of author is built and how the image of the Other is outlined by that author. It is assumed that the gender to which an advertising piece belongs intends to sell a product or idea. One of the specific objectives of this research is to identify what is being sold in the advertising piece that we analyze and what discursive and stylistic resources are utilized to achieve success in what it intends to promote. The results show that the author (in the voice of the Federal Government), while adopting the position of information-holder, also puts himself in the same plane of the reader, where everyone is responsible for the development of education in the country. The advertising piece intends to project a positive image of the Government, and this project of saying is realized, in the analysis, in the compositional aspects of the text as well in the stylistic aspects

Duas fábulas de cidade: configurações do espaço urbano em Bernardo Carvalho e João Cabral de Melo Neto

The aim of this article is to present some considerations on the contemporary city figurativizations, from the reading of “O Arquiteto”, a Bernardo Carvalho’s short story, published in the anthology “Aberração” (2004). In this short story, the writer retakes the city theme following a modernity tradition, established, among others, by Poe and Baudelaire, making his voice embrace other Brazilian writers voices, that have represented the town, but, at the same time, recreating, in his scripture body, dense and intense, quick and, in some sense, agonic, the utopist projects of renascence ideal cities, questioning the utopias and the aesthetics traces which can be found on the nowadays texts. To enlarge the metalinguistic proposal that emerges from the analysis, some poems by João Cabral de Melo Neto are considered. This comparison allow us to establish parameters to think about influence in certain perspective of contemporary literature, which epicenter configures less the supremacy of the newty and more a aesthetic of deletions of the origins, tracks, traces, which are possible by the canon invention.

Geometrical coupling fields of a hypercomplex type

This paper presents an application of Laplace's equation obtained from a quaternionic function that satisfies the Cauchy-Riemann conditions determined earlier by Borges and Machado [#!BorgesZeMarcio!#]. Therefore, we show that it is possible to express in a single equation gravity, electric and magnetic potential fields, and this expression can only be provided due to a function that will be called here the coupling function.

Geometrical hypercomplex coupling between electric and gravitational fields

The present work shows a coupling of electrical and gravitational fields through Cauchy-Riemann conditions for quaternions present in a previous paper [1]. It is also obtained an extended version of the Laplace-like equations for quaternions, now written in terms of both electric and gravitational fields.

Morte na antilírica de João Cabral de Melo Neto

The critic João Alexandre Barbosa, points in the work Agrestes (1981-1985), of the Brazilian poet João Cabral de Melo Neto, the presence of individualized death. Thus way, this study proposes to analyse the meanings of lyrism and first-person enunciations, in the work Agrestes, a trace gradually eliminated from Cabral’s discursive field since his first work, Pedra do Sono (1940-1). These elements will clash with João Cabral’s poetics, previously based on the selection of voices and artistic practices consistent with his compositional method, with rigorous sorting values and elimination of any subjectivism. To understand this inconsistency, we propose studying the last part of the work Agrestes, entitled “A indesejada das gentes”, a place where the theme of death is recurrent, as well as the presence of enunciators to set out, even to reveal its feelings about aging and death. The analytical procedure should research the hypothesis of rupture of the inflexible tone of João Cabral’s speech that would follow in respect to the poetic project, a reverse path, starting from objective poetry in the direction of subjective poetry.

Fotocatálise heterogênea de enterococcus faecalis e pseudomonas aeruginosa desencadeada pela ação da luz UV e branca em espátulas com revestimento de nanopartículas TiO2 e Ag

Nanotechnology, the science of minuscule, has developed products which are able t o manipulate atoms and molecules that could be applied in the sterilization process of dental instruments. Objetives: The objective of the present study was to evaluate the self-cleaning action of TiO2 and Ag nanoparticles coating on dental instruments by the photocataliys process under UV and visible light irradiation. Material and method: Microbiologic tests were done using dental cement spatulas coated with TiO2 and Ag nanoparticles (one or three layers), and contaminated with 10 mcrl of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterococcus faecalis, respectively. After contamination, they were exposed to ultraviolet light and visible light for 120 minutes. Next, they were transferred to and stored in test tubes with BHI (Brain Heart Infusion) and incubated in 35 to 37 °C. Checking times for bacterial growth and for control and retrieval tests were done at: 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. Result: The Pseudomonas aeruginosa was inactive after 120 minutes of ultraviolet light irradiation, thus confirming the heterogeneous photocatalytic activity of TiO2 and Ag. The Pseudomonas aeruginosa was not inactivated under visible light irradiation and the Enterococcus faecalis was not inactivated under UV and visible light irradiation of the dental cement spatulas coated with TiO2 and Ag nanoparticles in the readings to 96 hours, showing bacterial growth. Conclusion: There were no influence of one or three layers of TiO2 and Ag nanoparticles coating of the spatulas in the results. The heterogeneous photocatalysis activity of TiO2 and Ag under UV light irradiation was confirmed for Pseudomonas aeruginosa but not under visible light. Enterococcus faecalis did not confirmed the photocatalytics activity of TiO2 and Ag under UV light irradiation and visible lights irradiation.

Alveolar ridge and maxillary sinus augmentation using rhBMP-2: a systematic review

Purpose: The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate clinical and safety data for recombinant human bone morpho-genetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2) in an absorbable collagen sponge (ACS) carrier when used for alveolar ridge/maxillary sinusaugmentation in humans.Materials and Methods: Clinical studies/case ser ies published 1980 through June 2012 using rhBMP-2/ACS were searched.Studies meeting the following criteria were considered eligible for inclusion: >10 subjects at baseline and maxillary sinus oralveolar ridge augmentation not concomitant with implant placement.Results: Seven of 69 publications were eligible for review. rhBMP-2/ACS yielded clinically meaningful bone formationfor maxillary sinus augmentation that would allow placement of regular dental implants without consistent differencesbetween rhBMP-2 concentrations. Never theless, the statistical analysis showed that sinus augmentation following autog-enous bone graft was significantly greater (mean bone height: 1.6 mm, 95% CI: 0.5–2.7 mm) than for rhBMP-2/ACS(rhBMP-2 at 1.5 mg/mL). In extraction sockets, rhBMP-2/ACS maintained alveolar ridge height while enhancing alve olarridge width. Safety reports did not represent concerns for the proposed indications.Conclusions: rhBMP-2/ACS appears a promising alternative to autogenous bone grafts for alveolar ridge/maxillary sinusaugmentation; dose and carrier optimization may expand its efficacy, use, and clinical application.
