Prática de ensino em (Micro)História e Linguagem Cinematográfica: o curta metragem como ‘outra’ narrativa histórica no e do local

Este artigo tem o objetivo de repensar conceitos, conteúdos e objetivos de temáticas ligadas à área de História através da articulação entre o uso de linguagens audiovisuais – no caso, o cinema – o papel da narrativa e a construção de práticas de ensino, todas baseadas nos estudos de micro-história. Desejamos não apenas debater os potenciais pedagógicos e empíricos dos recursos tecnológicos dentro das salas de aula, mas, especialmente, o das possibilidades reais de transformação dos alunos em sujeitos do processo de construção de novos conhecimentos na área, por meio da produção do curta metragem. Essa ferramenta pedagógica e tecnológica pode ajudar-nos a refletir sobre as prerrogativas dos PCN’s que prevem em suas propostas a valorização do local e do cotidiano dos alunos, o respeito à diversidade e pluralidade, o papel dos sujeitos na História. A proposta aqui apresentada é fruto de um projeto realizado na Fundação Educacional de Fernandópolis entre 2009 e 2010, sob a forma de trabalhos de conclusão de curso desenvolvidos por alunos do curso de graduação em História.

Realismo e impressionismo em contos de Guy de Maupassant

Dans ce texte on a étudié, afin de comprendre et d'analyser les contes réalistes de Guy de Maupassant, comment Erich Auerbach, dans Mimesis (2009), parcourt les sentiers de la littérature occidentale pour dresser un tableau des traits communs qui existent entre les grandes oeuvres réalistes de l'Occident. L'auteur a réalisé des recherches et des commentaires sur les caractéristiques les plus récurrentes du réalisme littéraire dans les oeuvres d'écrivains tels que Homero, Shakespeare, Voltaire, Flaubert, parmi d'autres. Notre recherche vise, dans sa première étape, à présenter, à expliquer ou à identifier dans les contes de Guy de Maupassant, écrivain de la fin du XIXe siècle, les tendances réalistes discutées par ce théoricien et par d'autres au fil du temps, comme, par exemple, Roland Barthes, dans Crítica e verdade (2007), Bersani, dans Le réalisme et la peur du désir (1975) et Philippe Hamon, dans Un discours contraint (1973, p. 411-445). À partir de ces chercheurs, on essaie d'expliciter et d'affirmer le caractère réaliste d'un des maîtres du récit court - sûrement un représentant du réalisme parmi les grands écrivains de cet art - car dans Mimesis (2009) Zola est considéré par Auerbach comme le dernier des grands réalistes français. En plus, pour la deuxième partie de ce travail, on a l'intention de traiter l'émergence de l'impressionnisme artistique en France, et de présenter les concepts et les thèmes qui ont influencé ce mouvement et se présentent dans la construction des récits de Maupassant. Un passo indietro al Decameron e os limites intangíveis do Novellino

The narratives of Decameron, composed by Giovanni Boccacio in the 14th century, possess a popular content carefully tied together by a formal structure capable of concentrating sophisticated techniques. The present paper revisits some relation possibilities between Decameron and Novellino, an anonymous work from the 13th century, composed on the basis of fables and stories gathered mainly from the oral tradition. Our aim is not to demonstrate a genealogy of the prose and of its freedom to recover narrative situations but to reflect, by means of examples of great reverberation, on the strategies developed to make elements from the ancient tradition highly functional in the literary tradition, according to the formal resources available in each period.

Relação entre índices fisiológicos aeróbios e desempenho em provas de curta e média duração em ciclistas de elite

Poucos são os estudos que possibilitam verificar quais as respostas fisiológicas são associadas ao desempenho em uma amostra de ciclistas de elite nacional. Portanto, o objetivo do presente estudo foi determinar e relacionar diferentes índices fisiológicos aeróbios com o desempenho em testes contra relógio de 4 e 20km em ciclistas de alto nível. A amostra foi composta por 14 ciclistas profissionais de elite nacional do sexo masculino (28,5 ± 4,7 anos, 73,47 ± 8,29 kg, 176 ± 6,76 cm), que realizaram um teste progressivo em laboratório para a determinação do consumo máximo de oxigênio (VO2max: 62,23 ± 8,28 ml·kg·min-1), intensidade relativa ao VO2max (iVO2max: 500,83 ± 58,65 w), economia de movimento (EM: 0,1166 ± 0,0362 ml·kg·min·w-1) e 1º e 2º limiares ventilatórios (LV1: 348,21 ± 43,26 w; LV2: 417,86 ± 60,79 w, respectivamente). Também foram submetidos a duas provas de 4 e 20km contra relógio. Para correlação entre os índices fisiológicos e desempenho, foi utilizado o coeficiente de correlação de Pearson (p< 0,05). Não foi encontrada correlação entre os índices fisiológicos (VO2max absoluto e relativo, iVO2max, EM, LV1 e LV2) e o desempenho de 4km (r= 0.38; 0.16; -0.33; 0.20; -0.50; -0.20, respectivamente) e 20km (r= 0.24; 0.01; -0.13; -0.12; -0.48; -0.19, respectivamente) contra relógio em atletas de alto nível. Estes resultados sugerem que tais variáveis não apresentam capacidade de explicar o desempenho em provas de contra relógio nas respectivas distâncias, provavelmente, devido à homogeneidade entre os sujeitos.

Imagens em narrativa: contraposição cultural e interdisciplinaridade no ensino fundamental

Com as transformações pelas quais passa o conhecimento científico na atualidade, a narrativa transformou-se em tema de relevância, quando se pesquisam questões relativas à construção de significado na experiência humana. Investigada como técnica de ensino junto a alunos de 6ª série de Botucatu, São Paulo, os quais foram confrontados com o ambiente urbano de Salvaterra, Ilha de Marajó, revelou que a força das oposições binárias, previstas teoricamente, estimula a reelaboração de conceitos prévios, revisão e resignificação de valores e de condicionamentos sociais. A narrativa como técnica de ensino propicia aprendizagem efetiva, com o espectador organizando a sequência de imagens apresentada e fazendo emergir significado de acordo com as suas experiências e estrutura cognitiva.

Análise Narrativa em Trabalhos de História da Educação Matemática: algumas considerações

This paper presents some reflections on the use of narrative analysis as a possible approach to study the History of (Mathematics) Education, mainly to interpret historical situations and biographical data. Its perspective is linked to Walter Benjamin's ideas about the figure of the narrator and how the dialogue between narrator and historian can be seen. Following the perspective of another author, Benedito Nunes, we try to establish relations among narratives, fiction and historiography, also highlighting the ideas of Jorge Larrosa regarding the transmission of experiences. Finally, our focus is turned to Antonio Bolivar and his alternative statements about why and how analysis of investigations, in which narratives are the main source of data, can be done.

Sincronização do estro e da ovulação utilizando protocolos de curta duração durante a pré- estação reprodutiva em ovelhas Suffolk

This study was carried out with the objective of examining the effect of the short-term estrus synchronization protocol. Ewes were divided in four groups: Control Group (MAP sponges for 12 days, and eCG at withdrawal); Groups I, II and III used the sponge for four days, and 100 μg of PGF was applied at withdrawal; and additionally, Group I (0.1 mg of Estradiol benzoate - EB, in the sponge placement, and in the withdrawn 400 UI of eCG and 50 μg of GnRH 48h later); Group II (35 mg of injectable progesterone and 0.1 mg of EB in the sponge placement, and 400 UI of eCG at withdrawal, and 50 μg of GnRH 48h after); Group III (35 mg of injectable progesterone and 0.2 mg of EB in the sponge placement, and 400 UI of eCG at withdrawal, and 50 ?g of GnRH 56h after). Exams were accomplished for ultrasound and determine the plasmatic concentrations of progesterone and observations of the beginning the estrus and the ovulation. The lack of eCG in Group I caused this protocol to be less efficacious in induction and synchronization of estrus and ovulation. The Control Group had a greater synchronization of estrus and ovulation.

Efeitos do extrato de parede de levedura em dieta seca sobre a Microbiologia, ácidos graxos de cadeia curta e redução do odor das fezes de gatos adultos

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of yeast cell wall extract (YCW) in dry diet on the fecal microbiota, concentration of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) and on the odor reduction of cats feces. We used 20 animals of both sexes, randomly assigned to four treatments and five repetitions totaling 20 experimental units: 1) dry commercial diet (control); 2) control + 0.2%, 3) control + 0.4%, and 4) control + 0.6% of YCW in dry matter. Enterobacteriaceae and lactic acid bacteria, fecal concentration of acetic, propionic and butyric acids, ammonia nitrogen and sensory panel were performed. There were no significant differences (p> 0.05) for bacterial counts and the concentration of SCFA and ammonia, but in sensory panel a reduction in the odor of feces could be noted with the use of 0.2% of YCW. We concluded that the addition of up to 0.6% YCW had no effect on the microbiology and the concentration of fatty acids, but there is potential for its use as an additive because of the improvement in the odor of feces. However, further studies are needed to understand the mechanisms of action and the effects of prebiotics for domestic cats.

The Magic Toyshop: A narrativa imagética como processo de recriação

Because it belongs to a cultural practice, the adaptation of a novel into a feature film will always exist within a context and, for being subject to changes, corresponding modifications in the political sphere and even variations in the meaning of the story may occur. This seems to be precisely the result of the transformation of Angela Carter's second novel, The Magic Toyshop, into the homonymous film, directed by David Whealtey in 1987. Removed from the context of the book's production and publication, a crucial period of questioning about the importance of women in society and culture, the plot created by the English author in the sixties, rewritten two decades later, with the author herself as the script writer, seems to have acquired another meaning during this time. Although the film maintains the same plot of the novel, the political engagement visibly present in the narrative, namely Carter's critical stance about the model of patriarchal society, seems to lose its strength, highlighting now its fantastic character. Briefly discussing issues such as loyalty and betrayal of one gender to another, we seek in this paper to observe the film, based on the re-writers perspective, in other words, the prospects of both writer and director, as a process of rebuilding the story. In this dialogue, the script was also used as an intertext for a better understanding of this process.
