Uma visita ao universo matemático de Lewis Carrol e o (re)encontro com sua lógica do nonsense

Notable mathematics teacher, Lewis Carroll, pseudonym of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898), made the mixture of mathematics with literature a ludic environment for learning that discipline. Author of Alice s Adventures In Wonderland and its sequel Alice Through The Looking Glass, he eventually created a real and complex universe which uses what we call the logic of the nonsense as an element to motivate the development of mathematical thinking of the reader, taking it as well, learn by establishing a link between the concrete (mathematics) and the imaginary (their universe). In order to investigate and discuss the educational potential of their works and state some elements that can contribute to a decentralized math education from the traditional method of following the models and decorate formulas, we visited his works based on the studies of archeology of knowledge (FOUCAULT, 2007), the rational thought and symbolic thinking (VERGANI, 2003) and about the importance of stories and narratives to the development of human cognition (FARIAS, 2006). Through a descriptive, analytical study, we used the literary construction and presented part of our study in form of a mathematical novel, to give the mathematical school a particular charm, without depriving it of its basics properties as discipline and content. Our study showed how the works of Carroll have a strong didactic element that can deploy in various activities of study and teaching for mathematics classes

Dimensões e universo das representações sociais de educação ambiental por discentes em Garanhuns-PE

The research aimed at investigating the dimensions and the universe of social representations of environmental education, as well as identifying the senses and meanings Environmental Education. This study admitted as presumption the education and environment dimensions. In this investigation was adopted as reference the dimension or representation scope of Moscovici. One hundred and twenty (120) students from Public Schools of Basic Education participated of this study and moreover three hundred and twenty-three (323) from Higher Education in the area of the UPE-FACETEG. The following questions were admitted: 1) What are the dimensions/categories that exist in the semantic scope of social representations of the environmental education? 2) What are the senses and meanings of environmental education? 3) The student s representations of Basic Education are similar or different from the Higher Education? The software EVOC helped in the organization of semantic scope for construction of the categories, with support of the contents analysis. The justifications are sorted on lexical classes using the software ALCESTE, through of the speech analyses. The free association of words answered the question dimension/categories and its semantic scope, being: a) Nature/Environment; b) values; c) Attitudes; d) Actions; e) Implications; f) Mediation. Six lexical classes were found with its meanings enumerated in this way: 1.Awareness, as a factor of belief for the preservation of nature and society. The students are clamoring for environmental education in the school, emphasizing the importance of awareness in the development of the respect to the environment linking the education and family; 2. The consciousness-knowledge relationship for the environment-nature preservation. 3. The environment and human interventions, in search of indicators of solutions. 4. Nature /background/ environment and its constituting elements, a thinking of values and an acting for mediation. 5. The human-nature interaction in social representations of environmental education and the symbolic-life size. 6. Nature / environment /, values, attitudes, actions, implications, and mediation in nature-man relationships. The groups more representatives according to these lexical classes were, the Basic Education in the class-4, represented exclusively by the Primary and Secondary Education and the class-6 represented by both two the Basic Education (47,37%) and the Higher Education (52,63%) - History, Pedagogy, Psychology, Mathematics, Language and Literature. The classes 4 and 6 are related to the class-3 which in turn is formed by students of Higher Education (Mathematics, Biology, Pedagogy, Psychology, Language and Literature) and Basic Education (Primary and Secondary Education). The Higher Education is most represented by the lexical classes (1, 2 and 5). The class 2 corresponded to 80% of the researched groups. In the class-1 the biggest representation was concerning to the Psychology, Geography, Biology and Language and Literature courses, whereas the class-5 was best represented by Psychology, Biology, Pedagogy, Language and Literature, Geography and History. From the results, one may conclude that the imagery is nature/environment; that life is the symbolic dimension that permeates the whole imaginary, and that preservation, awareness and respect are inserted in the speech that circulate to protect life

Universo encantado do cuidado na autopoiese docente: uma viagem epistemológica transdisciplinar

The health transition experienced in Brazilian health care model requires a metamorphosis in human and society, placing new demands on health and education. The Faculty of Science, Culture and Extension of Rio Grande do Norte (Facex), aware of their responsibilities to the Health System, which brings the principle of comprehensiveness as its structural axis, dared to implement a course of nursing in complex thinking and Experiential Pedagogy Humanescente with curriculum inter / transdisciplinary. For deployment of proprosta was not enough to reform thinking of educators, there was a need corporalizar new teaching practices that are aimed at the integral formation of human beings. In this context, emerged the workshop on Human Education autopoietic, self-forming area of the educator, where he developed an Action Research Existential (PA-E) which enabled experience, describe and analyze how the human autopoietic educators could contribute to the practice educational humanescente transdisciplinary curriculum project. Were worked out in meetings, knowledge necessary to practice the transdisciplinary 1st Meeting - learn to create; 2nd Meeting - learn to recognize the laws of nature with emphasis on complexity theory, 3rd Meeting - learn to organize, 4th meeting - namely autoestruturar themselves; 5th Meeting - know how to choose, 6th Meeting - knowing innovate 7th Meeting - namely exchange. Next an autobiographical perspective, we chose the metaphorical possibility to narrate the ways and strategies covered by the author and apprentice in the company of the Little Prince de Saint-Exupery, in search of a sensible pedagogical practice complex, which promotes re-enchant transdisicplinar education. The route involved five methodological connections: a literature review which relate to training for care in undergraduate nursing: the study of learning processes that drive the formation humanopoiética, emphasizing the relationship that involves the complexity and embodiment in the educational process transdisciplinary, highlighting the analysis of what is to learn from the findings of biosciences and recent cognitive theories of Maturana and Varela, the description of the interdisciplinary curriculum of the nursing course of Facex and Training Workshop, Human autopoietic, with emphasis on Experiential Education Humanescente; the report of seven meetings of the Workshops (cocoon), recording the experiences and listening to educators (luminescent butterflies), the final reflections with learning opportunized. Experientiality lived through, the expressions and words, educators say the influence of workshops for their teaching practices, highlighting it as a space for selforganizing, creating, learning and enchantment, and can identify the workshop as a place of transformation necessary for deployment an interdisciplinary curriculum. The knowledge emerging from the study indicate the need for permanent spaces of self, in which the educator learns from its body, between cognitive processes and vital, and in the experiences of their formative process the opportunity to act on the dimensions of knowing and being

Cecília Meireles: mulher ao espelho, imaginário poético e metafísica do amor em Viagem e Mar Absoluto

En el florescer de la modernidad brasileña, surge la poesía de Cecília Meireles, revelando la mujer que opta conscientemente por la labor intelectual, por la especulación filosófica del amor y por la pasión de escribir. La lectura de su obra representa um desafío a la sensibilidad del estudioso de la literatura. En esta disertación, tratamos de ese trabajo em filigranas que la autora realiza. Nos situamos em las obras Viagem y Mar Absoluto como anclas simbólicas de un discurso que nos remite a la relación del poetar com el pensar. Se inserta, así, esa poética ceciliana en um modo filosófico platónico, trayendo elementos simbólicos, míticos, metafóricos capaces de remitirnos a las interpretaciones filosóficas del siglo XX, tal la heideggeriana que entiende la poesía dentro del principio del eterno juego del ser, que es lo del próprio lenguaje. Nuestra preocupación fundamental fue trillar los caminos del erostismo filosófico y la búsqueda de la autora em transcender la rigidez de los límites entre el masculino y el femenino, lanzándose em um imaginario poético cristiano, reinterpretado neoplatonicamente. Se exponen Mujer y Letras al espejo, velando y desvelando marcas e trazos de identidad. Tal juego especular nos ofreció elementos poéticos, estéticos y una experiencia ceciliana del lenguaje del ser, designio de la poesía mísma. De esta nuestra iniciativa, que es también reflejada y reflexiva, reunimos a las Letras la Filosofia, resaltando que ambas de manera diferente - nos dieron acceso a la construcción de esa poesía en que fulguran la escritura, el ser y la naturaleza metaforizada, caracterizando la multiplicidad de sentidos y la pluralidad de voces del presente y del pasado

Tatuagem da palavra : educação sentimental do corpo no corpus poético de Maria Teresa Horta

While looking to the body and finding it engraved by cultural, imaginary and power-related texts through a discourse embodied in itself, this research proposes a new vertiginous approach to it by analyzing the following works: Poesia completa II, more specifically, Educação sentimental, and Novas cartas portuguesas. Such transgressive and performatic works are from Maria Teresa Horta (1937-), Portuguese writer, who proposes a new education by a renewed language: a sentimental education spawned from the erotic element. Starting from the deconstruction of the view over the spoiled body and exposed in Novas cartas portuguesas, from the poetic texts in Educação sentimental, as well as in remaining ones in Poesia completa II, Horta disassembles and reassembles the body, giving a new meaning to the symbols that surround us and our experiences. Other than proposing to all, men and women, such new meaning of the behavior and current practices models, Horta s education allows, through a performance action, the construction of a stage for female identity, free from the phallic influence. A new identity, able to handle all holy and profane characteristics of women, discarding the chromatic lens of sin. Horta s poetry emerges as a new proposal of literary labor

Na trilha do poético: um caso de angústia da influência

Diese These besteht aus der Analyse der Enteignungsverhältnisse und der Misselung, welche in den Texten der Ursprung des Kunstwerkes und die Hymnen Hölderlins vorkommen. Germanien und der Rhein sind in den 30en-Jahren letzten Jahrhunderts von Martin Heidegger verfasst worden. Ab anwendung der kritischen Methodologia von Harold Bloom und der starken Texgestaltung von Richard Rorty wird es deutlich, dass die Heideggers Lesungen der Hölderlins Poesia als ei Ersatzversuch der von Hegel entwickelte Kulturgeschichte ab deutescher Überlieferung klassicher Studien, die das tragische Erlebnis der alten Griechen als grundlegender Punkt des Westen Daseins vorbringen, verstanden werden können. So verlegt Heidegger die Aufbauachse der Entstehungserzälung des Abendlandes in Richtung Dichtkunst, indem er in seiner Wendung zum Dichterischen gleichzeitig auf der Suche nach einer abweichenden Feststellung der vorherrschaftlichen These ist, in welcher die Tragödie das grosse Antrittsereignis der westlichen Zivilisation darstellt, und darüber hinaus noch der Herstellung einer innigen Verbindung zwischen der Poesie von Hölderlin und Hesiudus, um die Enge der dichterischen Überinstimmung zu zeigen, welche die alten Griechen und die zeitegemässigen Deutschen verbrände. Acelaração do universo e criação gravitacional de matéria escura fria: novos modelos e testes observacionais

Recent astronomical observations (involving supernovae type Ia, cosmic background radiation anisotropy and galaxy clusters probes) have provided strong evidence that the observed universe is described by an accelerating, flat model whose space-time properties can be represented by the FriedmannRobertsonWalker (FRW) metric. However, the nature of the substance or mechanism behind the current cosmic acceleration remains unknown and its determination constitutes a challenging problem for modern cosmology. In the general relativistic description, an accelerat ing regime is usually obtained by assuming the existence of an exotic energy component endowed with negative pressure, called dark energy, which is usually represented by a cosmological constant ¤ associated to the vacuum energy density. All observational data available so far are in good agreement with the concordance cosmic ¤CDM model. Nevertheless, such models are plagued with several problems thereby inspiring many authors to propose alternative candidates in the relativistic context. In this thesis, a new kind of accelerating flat model with no dark energy and fully dominated by cold dark matter (CDM) is proposed. The number of CDM particles is not conserved and the present accelerating stage is a consequence of the negative pressure describing the irreversible process of gravitational particle creation. In order to have a transition from a decelerating to an accelerating regime at low redshifts, the matter creation rate proposed here depends on 2 parameters (y and ߯): the first one identifies a constant term of the order of H0 and the second one describes a time variation proportional to he Hubble parameter H(t). In this scenario, H0 does not need to be small in order to solve the age problem and the transition happens even if there is no matter creation during the radiation and part of the matter dominated phase (when the ß term is negligible). Like in flat ACDM scenarios, the dimming of distant type Ia supernovae can be fitted with just one free parameter, and the coincidence problem plaguing the models driven by the cosmological constant. ACDM is absent. The limits endowed with with the existence of the quasar APM 08279+5255, located at z = 3:91 and with an estimated ages between 2 and 3 Gyr are also investigated. In the simplest case (ß = 0), the model is compatible with the existence of the quasar for y > 0:56 whether the age of the quasar is 2.0 Gyr. For 3 Gyr the limit derived is y > 0:72. New limits for the formation redshift of the quasar are also established

Setor escuro do universo: uma análise termodinâmica

Significant observational effort has been directed to unveiling the nature of the so-called dark energy. However, given the large number of theoretical possibilities, it is possible that this a task cannot be based only on observational data. In this thesis we investigate the dark energy via a thermodynamics approach, i.e., we discuss some thermodynamic properties of this energy component assuming a general time-dependent equation-of-state (EoS) parameter w(a) = w0 + waf(a), where w0 and wa are constants and f(a) may assume different forms. We show that very restrictive bounds can be placed on the w0 - wa space when current observational data are combined with the thermodynamic constraints derived. Moreover, we include a non-zero chemical potential μ and a varying EoS parameter of the type ω(a) = ω0 + F(a), therefore more general, in this thermodynamical description. We derive generalized expressions for the entropy density and chemical potential, noting that the dark energy temperature T and μ evolve in the same way in the course of the cosmic expansion. The positiveness of entropy S is used to impose thermodynamic bounds on the EoS parameter ω(a). In particular, we find that a phantom-like behavior ω(a) < −1 is allowed only when the chemical potential is a negative quantity (μ < 0). Atividades de construção de sentido: a cosmovisão no discurso poético de a poesia em pânico

This study try to integrate concepts from referenciation theory to highlight processes of meaning construction of the book A Poesia em Pânico, written by the Brasilian poet Murilo Mendes. The concepts of referenciation, discourse objects and cognitive-experiential schemes were employed to evidence the meanings of the poems in the book, specifing its methods of elaboration and the effects of expression. Parallels beetwen the conception of language proposed by the theories used and that deduced from the poems and poetic pratice of the author studied was traced, making evident its similarities. Equaly, textuals analises are used to demonstrate various aspects of the theories. At the same time, a reading of the main elements of discourse was constructed throughout the study, trying an aproximation beetween the fields of linguistic and literary theory

Análise textual-interativa das Cartas dos Sertões do Seridó: em busca de efeitos estético-estilísticos

This work takes as its object of study a specific set of texts, designated letters about Sertões do Seridó (interstate region in the Brazilian northeastern), written by Paulo Bezerra, whose main approach is the backcountry universe. For its unique character, mainly because of a strong poetic appeal, we infer that these letters can also contain natural phenomena related to discourse-compositional structure, which may be responsible for creating specific effects, particularly aesthetical. In order to discuss and develop the issue, we set the theoretical assumptions of Textual-Interactive Perspective whose base is the concept of language as interaction, such as verbal activity impregnated with the space-time social and historical context in which the interlocutors are related, we chose the analytical category discursive topic and analyse introduction, sequencing and change of topic mechanisms. The goal is to determine the functionality of these mechanisms, noting how correlate the structural and interactional aspects are, and how this movement can be used to explain some of the aesthetic and stylistic effects of these letters. The result shows that it is used different topic organizational patterns according to the nature of the central topic. These different mechanisms express an aesthetic intention and feature a style. This result gives rise to more general conclusions about the texts: their discursive-compositional structure is related to the creation of aesthetics and stylistics effects.

Literatura: o espaço da criação e transformação identitária na sala de aula

Este trabajo pretende señalar maneras de cambiar el concepto de que los estudiantes de una clase de noveno grado de la escuela primaria en la Escuela de Estado Dr. José Gonçalves de Medeiros, en la ciudad de Acari-RN, tienen de sí mismos, de su entorno cultural y su capacidad de producción poética. Además, las referencias a las desigualdades sociales en Brasil utilizando como eje motivador de leer la poesía de Conceição Evaristo relacionada con la memoria, la lucha y la apreciación de ascendencia africana. Las aportaciones teóricas sobre la situación socio-interaccionismo, la poesía, la poesía en la escuela y la secuencia didáctica colaboran para afirmar que el estudiante de escuela pública en su discurso revela influencia del entorno familiar, social y cultural, sino también el entorno educativo, así como los primeros signos de sentimiento nacional: una mayoría excluida. Su poesía haciendo tiene sus raíces en el entorno socio-cultural y geográfica, lo que denota un principio revuelta, sin embargo, con el reconocimiento de las contribuciones de las clases desfavorecidas para la construcción de nuestro país, el estudiante tiene otras cuestiones, como el mestizo, la identificación África y el orgullo de su origen, la memoria y la cultura. Por lo tanto, se confirmam la relación rizomáticas entre las dos realidades. La elección de la investigación de intervención, en la confluencia con la investigación-acción y la investigación participativa se debe al hecho de que el intercambio de experiencias en la investigación científica es rica y significativa. Con el uso de una secuencia didáctica, cuyo eje sentir la poesía, analizar textos y hacer poesía, el estudiante es llevado a la percepción de las ventanas del universo contenida en este género literario, que es una herramienta comunicativa que ofrece numerosas posibilidades expresión, conocimiento del otro y reconocer mutuamente.

“Que diferença da mulher o homem tem?”: erotismo e pornografia em Maria Teresa Horta e Carlos Drummond de Andrade

This research has the delimitation of erotic space on printed paper as a general proposition, amidst the poetic text, and therefore the real world. To do so, it proposes the comparison of two transgressor writing styles, putting together the Portuguese writer Maria Teresa Horta and the Brazilian writer Carlos Drummond de Andrade by an erotic plot, by an atopic and declassed speech to which both of them produced works, respectively, Educação Sentimental (1975) and O amor natural (1992). Has the eroticism as a combination of the masculine and feminine voices in a heterosexual relationship. It is intended to probe how the literary universe represents man and woman, and if this representation is actually socially imposed or brings to light something new. If each point of view is the view of a point, each author will talk from the top of its point of observation and experimentation, the most comfortable for itself. Therefore, it seeks to investigate eroticism itself and its relationship to everyday life, also delimiting it from what separates – or near – it from pornography and obscenity.

Narrativa transmídia e a expansão do universo ficcional: os princípios e as estratégias de transmidiação da telenovela Cheias de Charme

This research analyzes the transmedia narrative television series Cheias de Charme, understood as a fictional multiplatform world, composed of several pieces distributed in different media, and into the context of media convergence. With a view to its expansion in various media controlled by production, we investigated how the principles (Jenkins 2008, 2009a, 2009b) and the strategies of expansion and spread (Fechine et al., 2013) were appropriate for fiction. To do this, literature reviews were conducted about transmidiation processes and the specifics of transmedia narrative, in order to identify possible areas of action and forms of engagement with the public. In addition, he reflected on reconfigurations of the soap opera genre in the era of participatory culture. For a better understanding of the dissertation, the observations were divided into four distinct chapters, taking as a guide and starting point the inclusion of the soap opera in the internet environment. With the aid of a descriptive research with a view to the application of the Case Study procedure in the light of Gil contributions (2010), it is believed that the proposed objectives were achieved. Finally, it was concluded that Cheias de Charme, aired by TV Globo in 2012, in time of 19h, we used creative and planned actions that have worked effectively in developing a transmedia narrative.
