Originalmente tese de doutorado da autora, defendida na Universidade de So Paulo, a obra discorre acerca do papel dos peridicos recreativos, cientficos e literrios na sociedade brasileira do sculo Xix e incio do sculo XX. Demonstrando amplo domnio bibliogrfico a respeito das discusses mais recentes sobre o assunto, a autora preenche uma lacuna sobre a revista francesa, que logo caiu no gosto das elites brasileiras a partir do Segundo Reinado.

This thesis aims at producing knowledge by putting together various theories and empirical analyses. In other words, from an interdisciplinary approach within the Social Sciences and having as background Communication and the City, this work presents, in each chapter, a disciplinary field Literature, Architecture, History and Geography , with which they relate, exhibits its theoretical pillars and performs a case study as a factual and critical contribution, considering the urban spaces of Rio de Janeiro, Braslia, So Paulo and Natal. By so doing, the thesis covers the period from the end of the XIX to the beginning of the XXI Century. Overall, the thesis is an interconnected and dialogic set that points to a cosmology of plural knowledge

This research was based on a study regarding the myth, the landscape and then man in Bolivian literature, a country whose cultural tradition transcends myth and reality, with an exotic nature, inherited from extraordinary people from a remote time, with archeological remains that show its glory, making it particular among other Latin American literatures. To contextualize the literary study of this nation, rich in fantasy literature, understanding its traits in the current literature, we have sought to rescue the history of its first inhabitants, the Kollas, and the cultural reference they inherited and reviewed in the acculturation process between indigenous and Spanish people. This study is based on the contributions of Latin American theorists, such as Antonio Conejo Polar, Nestor Canclini, the Cuban ethnologist Fernando Ortiz, and especially the concept of transculturation of the Uruguayan critic ngel Rama. Thus, we have tried to rescue a study about the Andean past, approaching the fundamentals of mythic component in literature, addressing landscape and nature as the ones that illustrate, characterize and give life to the mythical characters and social problems of the Andean man

The present research intends to propose a reading in a new dimension of the fantastic (weird) literature and, especially, of its Brazilian more representative author, Murilo Rubio. At the beginning with concepts and associations with the erotic, starting from the myth of Eros and Psique and developing relations with Georges Bataille's theory on the theme. Afterwards, other associations are made, now with relation to the own fantastic literature. With the essence of this literature, examples of the traditional close to the contemporary. A last, association is made with the absurd literature. The contemporary man as being object and its configuration represented in the field of the dreams and its possibilities. At the end of the work, a "post scriptum" suggests a more imersive reading of tales in the entire that appeared broken into fragments along the research

Antonin Artaud (1896-1948) est un pote, acteur, dramaturge et crivain franais n Marseille, mais dont la vie artistique se dveloppe principalement Paris. Artaud est l'auteur de la notion bien connue de Thtre de cruaut, qui inspire encore aujourd'hui de nombreux groupes de thtre dans diffrents coins du monde. Il a crit sur le thtre, la posie, l'art, la philosophie, entre autres. De 1924-1935 est galement ddi au cinma, la fois dans son thorique et pratique. Une tape un peu inconnu et peu explor dans sa vie. Elle a jou dans 22 films avec certains des ralisateurs les plus importants dans le monde, et a laiss huit scnarios, dont un seul a t realiz, et huit crits thoriques sur le cinma. Cette thse cherche examiner prcisment cette priode insuffisamment tudi dans sa carrire, partir de trois questions initiales: Artaud dvelopp un sens de la cruaut au-del du thtre? Nous pouvons penser la culture de la cruaut envers les films, en dautres termes, un cinma de la cruaut ? Nous pouvons penser sur le sujet contemporain de cette culture? La rponse ces trois questions est oui. L'ide de la pense de la cruaut au cinma est intervenue concomitamment leurs expriences et laborations de ce qu'il a appel Thtre de la cruaut. Les deux rflexions sont donns concomitamment et de manire rcursive. Plus que cela, toutes ses productions artistiques, dont la posie et la peinture, ont t traverss par la notion de cruaut. Nous concluons que leurs laborations sur un cinma de la cruaut a et interrompu au moment mme que le dveloppement technique a soulign la possibilit de sa ralisation. De plus, l'enqute de son travail, nous pouvons voir que presque toute sa pense a t prpar sous les images, de sorte que nous pouvons mme parler d'une pense cinmatographique dAntonin Artaud. En consquence, nous ne concevons pas sa thorie au septime art comme secondaire leurs intrts, comme le rapporte la plupart de ses commentateurs, mais absolument essentiel dans le dveloppement de ses crits, qui jusqu' maintenant accumul plus de deux mille pages. En outre, Artaud ne pense pas l'art pour l'art, mais seulement comme un dialogue fructueux et intensif avec l'homme et la culture. Lart tait l'instrument privilgi de proposer un diagnostic et une nouvelle faon de voir la socit contemporaine. travers le film il a imagin la possibilit d'une reprise de forces thico-esthtique-politiques perdus sous les dcombres de la civilisation occidentale. L'tablissement d'une nouvelle relation avec l'image, le sujet de la (post-) modernit pourrait sauver une puissance esthtique du corps et de la pense que, rinterprt, agiraient envers eux-mmes et le monde rinventer.

A tese trata de dois construtos scio-histricos Administrao e Administrador em face do capitalismo em sua fase flexvel. Considerando as mudanas do capitalismo, o texto estabelece como objeto de estudo as concepes de Administrao e Administrador, para o campo administrativo, na contemporaneidade. A tese suportada por uma pesquisa de campo cujo objetivo foi compreender criticamente as concepes do campo administrativo sobre a Administrao e o Administrador, em tempos de capitalismo flexvel. Epistemologicamente, a pesquisa foi conduzida a partir da perspectiva crítica frankfurtiana, fundamentada em trs pares categricos dialticos: (i) história versus naturalizao; (ii) prxis social versus sistema; e (iii) alienao versus emancipao; privilegiando o pensamento crtico vinculado primeira gerao da Escola de Frankfurt. A literatura prevalente da rea de Administrao foi revisada mediada pelas duas questes ontolgicas que suportam a tese: O que Administrao? e O que Administrador? para autores como Taylor, Fayol, Drucker, Ohno, Deming, Champy e Mintzberg. Metodologicamente, foi realizada uma pesquisa integralmente qualitativa, com uso de trs tipos de entrevistas: (i) entrevista narrativa com história de vida; (ii) entrevista com uso de elementos-estmulo; e (iii) entrevista narrativa ficcional. Para compreenso das narrativas, foi utilizada a tcnica de anlise hermenutico-dialtica. Os resultados indicam o predomnio da concepo pragmtica-instrumental, no tocante Administrao, pela qual ela continua a ser pensada e discursada como uma ao tecnolgica e teleolgica, que utiliza saberes mltiplos e aprendizagens cambiantes como meios para alcance das finalidades do contexto organizacional mutante. Com relao ao Administrador, h a emergncia da concepo esttica para apresent-lo, quando vinculado s organizaes. Por esta concepo, h a migrao do histrico esteretipo do Administrador controlador e vigilante para a representao do Administrador como um profissional performtico. O segundo resultado, que se apresenta como o mais relevante em relao ao Administrador, o da fuga da profisso. A partir dos pares categricos dialticos, esta tese prope algumas snteses provisrias críticas: (i) história-naturalizao: os sujeitos tomam como naturais a organizao empresarial e suas demandas, naturalizando as recentes mudanas que, entre outras coisas, reduzem os postos gerenciais; (ii) prxis social-sistema: pela concepo pragmtica-instrumental, as experincias dos Administradores so concebidas a partir do confinamento funcionalista em uma organizao-sistema; (iii) emancipao-alienao: tanto a forma naturalizada com que especificam as organizaes e sua Administrao quanto a prxis interrompida velada em uma experincia reificada mostram-se como fenmenos intrinsecamente e subjetivamente alienantes e contraemancipatrios. Por outro lado, atravs do movimento de fuga da profisso, os entrevistados parecem (re)significar o silncio fundador da alienao associada condio de Administrador: a de pensar como capital, e no se pensar como trabalho. Finalmente, o texto prope que as possibilidades de emancipao deste profissional residem na tomada de conscincia de sua condio como integrante da classe trabalhadora, mesmo em tempos de riscos e incertezas. Assumindo-se como trabalhador, o Administrador poder lutar pelo seu trabalho, repensando-o em novos termos, em que as dimenses pragmticas-instrumentais que envolvem sua profisso possam ser dosadas e sempre mediadas por contedos substantivos e emancipatrios

This collaborative research is a qualitative approach, from historical and cultural perspective, made about a teacher of third grade of basic education in the area of history, in the municipality of Caic / RN. It has as objective to investigate, in a collaborative action, if the design process of teaching and learning the discipline of history based on the relationship before / after allows the development of critical reflective thinking of the teacher in school practices. The theoretical and methodological approaches are supported in the postulates of Vygotsky (1998), Rubinstein (1973) and Linblinskaia (1979), among others, whose understanding has led us to reflect if the teacher develops the reflective critical-thinking in history discipline classes. The complexity of the study led us to an analysis exercise, using different methodological procedures, such as: bibliographic review of the literature, considering also the literature of the history area, interviews, observation in the classroom, video recordings and reflective sessions, enabling clarify the construction and reconstruction of thought that the teacher had been developing during the process of teaching and learning. The test results point to a dichotomy between theory and practice, and also to a certain fragility in the position of professor in teaching and learning the discipline of history, at the third grade of basic education. The teacher recognizes that she requires a theoretical deepening with more intensity, as a process of continuous training to improve the practice of teaching in history school, though, stating in her speech that her teaching practice is based on critical reflection. However, she presents serious limitations in classroom practices. We conclude that, although she has shown willing to work on a critical perspective of reality, showed also poor change at school practices, starting to reflect about her own actions, pointing her limits and the changes needed that didn t become reality yet. It s necessary a formative process for her. The study therefore showed that even with the sessions and reflective of deepening theoretical studies, the teacher does not change its profile, while maintaining its traditional vision in any pedagogical action. This research recommends the formation of school groups for further studies and discussion on the practices of education in history area from a reflective-critical thought perspective as a mean of personal and professional development

Ce travail est un tude de cas qui analyse la construction litraire du paysage du Serto du Cear entre la fin du sicle XIX et le dbut du sicle XX. Pour cela, quelques oeuvre simbole de la production litraire du Cear ont t slectionns, comme les textes qui suivent: O sertanejo (1875), de Jos Martiniano de Alencar; Os retirantes (1879), de Jos Carlos do Patrocnio; A fome (1890), de Rodolfo Marcos Tefilo; Luzia-Homem (1903), de Domingos Olmpio Braga Cavalcanti; Terra de sol: natureza e costumes do Norte (1912), de Gustavo Dodt Barroso et finalement, Aves de arribao (1914), de Antnio Sales. Ces oeuvres non seulement prend la nature comme personage, elles reprsentent aussi trois moments de la production litraire du Cear : romantique, raliste et naturaliste. A inveno da Terra da Luz se rapporte l ide d une littrature qui fait remarquer le paysage diurne du Serto du Cear, labore par ces hommes des lettres dans ses discours formidables, beaux et des matriaux qui viennent de ses rapports avec le monde naturel. Pour raliser une tel entreprise, les ides de Edmund Burke et Gaston Bachelard se sont constitus en rfrence de cet tude. Et cette rflexion sur la description, la rverie et l imagination marchent cte--cte au discours de ces littreurs qui ont construits un espace simbolique spcifique : le serto du Cear. Comme a, quelques thmes deviennent canonique la forme de penser, reprsenter et imaginer l espace du serto du Cear. De cette manire, le paysage est beaucoup plus que la contemplation, une fois qu elle est lie aussi la rverie potique, la mmoire et l imagination. C est de l l invention du paysage, car ces littreurs n ont pas l accs au paysage purement naturel parce que ses perceptions et sensibilites sur le monde du serto ont t historiquement, c est--dire, dans un certain temps et espace

Based on the relation history, literature and space, this work examines the production and the closing of the representation of the hinterland in the Romance d A Pedra do Reino of the paraiban writer Ariano Suassuna. Inspired by method proposed by deconstructionist by Jacques Derrida, our reflection decomposes the writing scene of Suassuna by means of it s tracks to interpret the operation of the representation of the space-hinterland for the speech of the writer. Being thus, we present the elements chosen for Suassuna to weave an identification it s with this space-hinterland, taking a priori as a sentimental place and of familiar origin . The construction of this relation of belonging in great is measured grounded for a familiar memory entangled in the context politician who culminated in the Revolution of 1930 and that he resulted for the writer in the death of father. Suassuna launches a look on the identity and the Brazilian culture that guided in the tradition concept it searchs to deny the gift grounding its speech in the return to the past, a past order . Specifically in it s romance we notice to exist the fusing of these tracks in the production of a representation of the hinterland that it intends to close a concept of this space and its culture. Soon, the idea of kingdom sends to the space of the enchantments manufactured in infancy and retaken by the intellectual radical who in the anxiety of honor the father figure, does not save efforts in constructing a space representation that, over all, either faithful the representation that it searchs to trace of proper itself. Under one it marks of universality , the hinterland-kingdom of Suassuna if discloses eurocentric in the measure where it perpetuates discurse the filiation of the European cultural traditions.

Teaching and learning History in dialectical relationship between interpretation and critical historical awareness has investigated the triggering of a theoretical-practical training process developed with a history teacher, her mediation in the teaching and learning of the discipline process, related to the appropriation of history text interpretation and the development of critical historical consciousness by public school 8 th-grade students of elementary level. It aims to analyze the relationship between mediation of teaching activity and ownership by the student on this level, the interpretation of history texts and development of this consciousness. It has been opted for collaborative research, as training and strategy, and was employed as procedures for the formation of knowledge: Meeting, Cycles of Reflexive Studies, Planning (with teachers), Observation performed in real life and portfolio (involving students). The teacher appropriated of contributions of the theory by P. Ya . Galperin and critical historical consciousness and developed a teaching process using a methodology grounded in theoretical constructs this author. The students appropriated the interpretation of history texts and demonstrated to be in a process of developing a critical historical consciousness. Performance of the students occurred more consistently in the interpretations implemented in groups, with teacher guidance and support of the activity map. Training processes, performed in and about teaching and student activities, revealed an improvement in teacher's professional development and the knowledge and expertise of the students. It has contributed to this, the critical reflection experienced in the investigative process. Given these findings, as needs of new thinking, research recommends the development of teaching and learning processes in other years of elementary school, involving the interpretation of history texts and the development of critical historical consciousness of students.
