Sloterdijk e o lugar do homem no humanismo pós-metafísico

This work starts from the principle that the word humanism has been currently used to advocate certain behaviors or ways of acting which had been constituted for more than 2500 years, mainly in what refers to the most basic human values, which are clearly validated without any questioning. Humanism has been seen continually as a stone of civility touch. Thus, in 1999, the philosopher Peter Sloterdijk presented a conference in Baviera entitled Rules for the Human Zoo, whose subtitle was clear that it dealt with an answer to Martin Heidegger s text Letter on Humanism, basically showing that civility is necessarily bound to human domestication. So, the present work is split in three chapters. The first one aims to set the cultural and metaphysical bases of humanism. The second one will adopt an approach about what we will call epistolary humanism and its corollaries. Besides, in the third chapter, we will compose theoretical statements to the Heideggerian criticism against humanism and the post humanist contemporary proposition, as well as about the anthropotechnics. We can state that these two elements are considered as anthropological fundamentals of humanism and post humanism, and by understanding their mentioned historical relationship from their biological and ontological assumptions. Therefore, this work, which has been presented here, when it tries to map humanism under the theoretical influence of Sloterdijk, it distinguishes itself precisely by realizing the coherence with which he aims at diagnosing the directions of the contemporary humanism

Narrativa transmídia e a expansão do universo ficcional: os princípios e as estratégias de transmidiação da telenovela Cheias de Charme

This research analyzes the transmedia narrative television series Cheias de Charme, understood as a fictional multiplatform world, composed of several pieces distributed in different media, and into the context of media convergence. With a view to its expansion in various media controlled by production, we investigated how the principles (Jenkins 2008, 2009a, 2009b) and the strategies of expansion and spread (Fechine et al., 2013) were appropriate for fiction. To do this, literature reviews were conducted about transmidiation processes and the specifics of transmedia narrative, in order to identify possible areas of action and forms of engagement with the public. In addition, he reflected on reconfigurations of the soap opera genre in the era of participatory culture. For a better understanding of the dissertation, the observations were divided into four distinct chapters, taking as a guide and starting point the inclusion of the soap opera in the internet environment. With the aid of a descriptive research with a view to the application of the Case Study procedure in the light of Gil contributions (2010), it is believed that the proposed objectives were achieved. Finally, it was concluded that Cheias de Charme, aired by TV Globo in 2012, in time of 19h, we used creative and planned actions that have worked effectively in developing a transmedia narrative.

Jornalismo e narrativas transmidias: a reportagem no contexto da convergência

The transmedia storytelling is a phenomenom recently conceptualized theoretically (JENKINS, 2009), arising from ficcional mediatic products and disseminated as well by the use on other fields. This search aims to analyze how the transmedia storytellings can be applied to journalism on the basis of an specific genre, the reporting. To that, take as reference theoretical developments performed by brazilian authors (FECHINE et al., 2011, 2012, 2013), on the basis of televisive fiction, which culminated on concepts as transmediation and transmedia contents and deepened the comprehension and the research in this area. Thenceforth, this study propone a problematization and apropriation of this theoretic support for the journalism field, using, for that, a comprehension of journalistic production on a speech level, as well as its social practices (newsmaking). The empiric research also take two different paths. First, analyze a group of reportings, in which there is transmediation, in order to verifying the configuration of the transmedia phenomenom - more specifically of the transmedia storytelling - and its particularities to journalism. Then, develops an investigation, based on the etnographic method, of the productive routine on the special reporting section of the Jornal do Commercio (Recife/PE), aiming to investigate the conditions of transmediation in this range and the practices that favor and difficult the employment of transmedia storytelling. The result are, therefore, compared and related, with the goal of providing multidimensional view of the phenomenom

A dimensão simbólica e midiática da política e a história da dona de casa que virou guerreira : a construção da imagem pública de Wilma de Faria em 2002 e 2006

This paper examines two aspects. First, the symbolic dimension of politics and some of the elements that make up this universe, as the scenario, the representation, the myth, the spectacle, the media and the political and electoral marketing. We assume that the policy brings together a set of traits related to both reason and the human subjectivity, and can not be summed up in just a few calculations based on rationality. In the case of elections, in a process (ritual, according Irlys Barrier) of choice, there is a meeting of two systems of representations: to that transmitted by a political actor, in a scene from a particular context, based on a life trajectory unique, and the other from the public, crossed by social relations, situations own wishes, desires, expectations and unique perspectives. Between them there are the means of mass media (especially television), and with them the advent of language media and advertising applied to politics, changing the layout of public visibility and inaugurating what Rejane Accioly Carvalho will call the "aesthetics of mostrabilidade". This does not necessarily mean a preponderance of media on politics as a whole but only its adaptation to that with regard to contact with the public, the ad extra portion of the policy, according to Wilson Gomes. In a second aspect, try to apply these elements to a specific study to verify them in building an effective public image, in this case, the current governor of Rio Grande do Norte, Wilma de Faria. The concept of public image is from the book of Wilson Gomes The transformation was visible in the mass media, and relates to a conceptual image to fix "personality traits" through political history, personal conduct, action of image makers and the public reception. For this we will review some videos aired on Free Time for political propaganda in the years 2002 and 2006.

A guerra midiática contra a Venezuela de Hugo Chavez: a cobertura da revista veja (1998-2002)

A pretensão deste trabalho foi o de analisar o discurso da revista semanal Veja sobre o governo de Hugo Chávez Frías, atual presidente da República Bolivariana da Venezuela. Através da leitura das reportagens, procuramos apresentar o comportamento da revista em relação ao se governo e a forma que sua política é classificada, representada. Reunimos edições da revista, entre 1998 a 2002, início do seu governo - eleito em dezembro de 1998, toma posse no início de 1999, período da tentativa de golpe (frustrada) em abril de 2002. O trabalho procura mostrar como as matérias não são isentas e que há um claro posicionamento ideológico da revista, que se insere no conjunto mais geral da mídia conservadora e anti-Chávez. O presidente, eleito e reeleito democraticamente, aparece sempre nas diversas reportagens da revista caracterizado como golpista, ditador, populista, fanfarrão. O nosso objetivo é o de revelar como Veja criou uma imagem negativa do presidente da Venezuela, coerente com os princípios neoliberais defendidos pela revista. A Venezuela com Hugo Chávez, com a chamada Revolução Bolivariana , realiza uma experiência singular de governo num país de larga tradição antidemocrática e afirma caminhar na contracorrente do pensamento hegemônico neoliberal. Em contrapartida, a revista Veja se apresenta com um representante da burguesia financeira e importante sujeito na construção e continuidade do neoliberalismo

Convergência ou divergência no desenvolvimento? um estudo multidimensional para o sudeste e o nordeste do Brasil, 1990-2010

The analysis of some aspects of development in Brazil in the past three decades reveals an improvement on a range of indicators isolated in the south east the richest region and north east the poorest region. From a database of twenty variables, the main purpose the study was to verify if there are indications of convergence or divergence in five dimensions of development between the two regions from 1990 to 2010. Aiming to identify the states more similar and different, and to verify changes in the composition of low development groups and high development in the adressed period, was used the analysis of groupings (Cluster Analysis). Additionally, to test equality of distance between states all the time, was used the non-parametric Test of Wilcoxon. This makes it possible to verify IF the distance between the states of two regions has been increasing or has been falling, showing signs of divergence or convergence. The results of Cluster s analysis suggest that there are indications of convergence inside the cluster of north east, but the distance between two regions has not changed. The results of test of Wilcoxon suggests that there have been no changes statistically significant in the distance between the states, in the two regions the standards of development became more homogenous, but the two regions will be far apart

Algoritmos genéticos: uso de lógica nebulosa e análise de convergência por cadeia de Markov

In this work, the Markov chain will be the tool used in the modeling and analysis of convergence of the genetic algorithm, both the standard version as for the other versions that allows the genetic algorithm. In addition, we intend to compare the performance of the standard version with the fuzzy version, believing that this version gives the genetic algorithm a great ability to find a global optimum, own the global optimization algorithms. The choice of this algorithm is due to the fact that it has become, over the past thirty yares, one of the more importan tool used to find a solution of de optimization problem. This choice is due to its effectiveness in finding a good quality solution to the problem, considering that the knowledge of a good quality solution becomes acceptable given that there may not be another algorithm able to get the optimal solution for many of these problems. However, this algorithm can be set, taking into account, that it is not only dependent on how the problem is represented as but also some of the operators are defined, to the standard version of this, when the parameters are kept fixed, to their versions with variables parameters. Therefore to achieve good performance with the aforementioned algorithm is necessary that it has an adequate criterion in the choice of its parameters, especially the rate of mutation and crossover rate or even the size of the population. It is important to remember that those implementations in which parameters are kept fixed throughout the execution, the modeling algorithm by Markov chain results in a homogeneous chain and when it allows the variation of parameters during the execution, the Markov chain that models becomes be non - homogeneous. Therefore, in an attempt to improve the algorithm performance, few studies have tried to make the setting of the parameters through strategies that capture the intrinsic characteristics of the problem. These characteristics are extracted from the present state of execution, in order to identify and preserve a pattern related to a solution of good quality and at the same time that standard discarding of low quality. Strategies for feature extraction can either use precise techniques as fuzzy techniques, in the latter case being made through a fuzzy controller. A Markov chain is used for modeling and convergence analysis of the algorithm, both in its standard version as for the other. In order to evaluate the performance of a non-homogeneous algorithm tests will be applied to compare the standard fuzzy algorithm with the genetic algorithm, and the rate of change adjusted by a fuzzy controller. Publicidade e moda: um estudo sobre a materialidade da mídia e a produção de sentido na revista ffw>>mag!

The proposal of this research is to analyze the convergence between fashion and communication shown on the materiality of the print media, and how the language from the supporter influences on the production of sense by the target market. Made real in the research corpus comprised of six ffw>>mag! magazines from the year 2011. The applied conceptual mechanism tries to investigate the production of sense from the physical attributes before interpreting the message s content, to do so, the Materiality of Communication is used, which offers an investigative apparatus of the media in its material shape, and those as influences in the communicative acts and processes. Methodologically, we adopt the Peircean Semiotics Theory, for its study focus on the analysis of the possible processes of production of sense. Through Semiotics we achieve the interpretative levels that allow us to clarify the questionings that come from the research s objectives, identifying and tracing the cognitive and intelligibility schemes bound to the media speeches of materiality. The analysis coordinated to the concepts and theories employed in this study point to a confirmation that the materiality of the reviewed media communicates to the readers in the same intensity as its content, provides a preview of the content and notifies the intentions of the publication. In the commercial way, characterizing the target audience it craves, and also in the conceptual way, demonstrating the ideas it wants to communicate. Where the convergence between communication and fashion unfolds as the materiality of the media by the choice of the materials and finishing options, and mainly by the selection and manipulation of technical images and colors from the cycles of fashion

Poesia digital: três leituras da Obra de Jason Nelson

The development of digital technologies has opened up a new niche for artistic production. It began to emerge artworks that could only happen in the digital context. In this study, we investigated the syntax of defining digital poetry, recognized internationally as one of the possibilities of this new artistic practice, and how happens the meaning during the reading process. As research corpus, we chose the poem "Birds Still Warm From Flying", by american poet Jason Nelson. And we structure our analysis looking through three perspectives: the digital poem as a game; as the evolution of experimental trends of twentieth-century poetry; and as a representation of Rubik`s Cube, a famous three-dimensional puzzle from the 1970`s. Initially, we made some considerations about the construction of digital poetry as a hypermedia artwork, looking through convergence and hybridization of artistic and media languages. Then, we saw some similarities between Nelson`s poem and electronic games, based on our critical observations about the concept of interactivity. Subsequently, we wrote a historical overview about the poetic experimentation in the twentieth century, bringing examples of sound poetry and visual poetry as evidence that the birth of digital poetry is also the result of the evolution of these experiments. Finally, we use the Charles Sanders Peirce`s semiotics to analyze the signs that give references able to make us recognize the Rubik`s Cube in "Birds Still Warm From Flying"

Algoritmo modificado de PSO matricial aplicado a identificação de sistemas com análise de convergência

Recentemente diversas técnicas de computação evolucionárias têm sido utilizadas em áreas como estimação de parâmetros de processos dinâmicos lineares e não lineares ou até sujeitos a incertezas. Isso motiva a utilização de algoritmos como o otimizador por nuvem de partículas (PSO) nas referidas áreas do conhecimento. Porém, pouco se sabe sobre a convergência desse algoritmo e, principalmente, as análises e estudos realizados têm se concentrado em resultados experimentais. Por isso, é objetivo deste trabalho propor uma nova estrutura para o PSO que permita analisar melhor a convergência do algoritmo de forma analítica. Para isso, o PSO é reestruturado para assumir uma forma matricial e reformulado como um sistema linear por partes. As partes serão analisadas de forma separada e será proposta a inserção de um fator de esquecimento que garante que a parte mais significativa deste sistema possua autovalores dentro do círculo de raio unitário. Também será realizada a análise da convergência do algoritmo como um todo, utilizando um critério de convergência quase certa, aplicável a sistemas chaveados. Na sequência, serão realizados testes experimentais de maneira a verificar o comportamento dos autovalores após a inserção do fator de esquecimento. Posteriormente, os algoritmos de identificação de parâmetros tradicionais serão combinados com o PSO matricial, de maneira a tornar os resultados da identificação tão bons ou melhores que a identificação apenas com o PSO ou, apenas com os algoritmos tradicionais. Os resultados mostram a convergência das partículas em uma região delimitada e que as funções obtidas após a combinação do algoritmo PSO matricial com os algoritmos convencionais, apresentam maior generalização para o sistema apresentado. As conclusões a que se chega é que a hibridização, apesar de limitar a busca por uma partícula mais apta do PSO, permite um desempenho mínimo para o algoritmo e ainda possibilita melhorar o resultado obtido com os algoritmos tradicionais, permitindo a representação do sistema aproximado em quantidades maiores de frequências.

For this, the study case of sites, blogs and news portal coverage was carried out from the perspective of evidential paradigm, studies of movement and event concept. We are interested in examining how the media handles the information security topic and what its impact on national and international political relations. The subject matter was considered the largest data leakage in history of the NSA, which ranks as the world's largest agency of expression intelligence. This leak caused great repercussions in Brazil since it was revealed that the country was the most watched by the United States of America, behind only USA itself. The consequences were: a big tension between Brazil and the US and a public discussion about privacy and freedom on Internet. The research analyzed 256 publications released by Brazilian media outlets in digital media, in the period between June and July 2013.

Para além do ato ou efeito de mediar, de estar entre, as mediações são a articulação entre práticas de comunicação e movimentos sociais; são as modalidades da comunicação dentro das quais se inserem os meios e que estão ligadas ao sensorium dos modos de percepção e da experiência social. O cinema reflete esse quadro como produto de uma experiência coletiva de fascínio mágico, um lugar de participação afetiva. Comporta elementos do jogo não competitivo e também apresenta elementos do sagrado pela alimentação e divulgação de mitos, pela ritualização convertida em periodicidade e pelo extraordinário evocado em êxtase profano.
