A poética da crioulização em Chico Science & Nação Zumbi: análise de três canções do álbum Afrociberdelia (1996)

This work discusses about the relationship between literature and song. In this sense, in the music scene of Chico Science & Nação Zumbi suggest an esthetical freedom, approaching songs to oral literature. Linked to that, this research aims to analyze three songs from the Afrociberdelia (1996) album, composed by Chico Science & Nação Zumbi, namely: “Mateus Enter”, “O Cidadão do Mundo” and “Etnia” (the three first songs from this disco). This analyzis aim to clarify how those songs untie or loose the knots of colonial segregation (MIGNOLO, 2003). For that, we dialogue with a comprehension of “creolezation” as used by Glissant (2011; 2005), that studies hybridism from a post-colonial perspective.

Albuns fotográficos de/por Enoque Neves: uma poética visual

La imagen fotográfica la imagen despierta pulsiones, en una experiencia provocativa que acciona el campo mítico-fenomenológico descíframe o te devoro . El texto fotográfico no constituye sólo un momento del real , es mucho más que un recorte gélido del tiempo pasado. Sobretodo, porque la comprensión del lenguaje subyacente a la imagen fotográfica se coloca dentro y más allá de lo meramente dado y/o objetivado . En la comprensión de la imagen se disponen regímenes de subjetivación horadado por códigos culturales, dominios del lenguaje, símbolos, experiencias estéticas, creación simbólica, valores, memorias, imaginarios. En ese sentido, surge el estudio, el levantamiento y la sistematización del acervo fotográfico dejado por el fotógrafo autodidacta: Enoque Pereira das Neves (1918-2002), que produjo formas visuales reveladoras de orientaciones culturales colectivas y universos fotográficos imaginarios. Él fotografió por medio siglo la vida cotidiana del campesino, en tierras potiguares y paraibanas. En la comprensión del acervo opte por subdividirlo en álbumes los cuales revelan las intimidades del fotógrafo con el lugar, una escrita de si, un estado del alma, del sujeto que observa la relación sociedad y naturaleza, en una especie de simbiosis en que accionan potencias resonantes de creación en el devaneo de la materia, sobresaliéndose a la pulsión terrestre, o enraizamiento, os rizomas del hombre unido a la tierra, las tradiciones, a rusticidad, laboral, bien como el apelo estético direccionado al agua: pulsión de vida en tierras áridas. La comprensión del inmenso acervo, evaluado en más de cincuenta mil fotografías es profundamente representativa de predilección temática circunstanciada por la niñez, la narrativa enfoca imágenes míticas como la del Eros nudo, la madona y el niño, y prácticas culturales del universo infantil, como el juguete y el juego. Mismo el acervo siendo un apelo estético a la vida surgió la imagen fotográfica de la muerte, especialmente, la muerte en la niñez o ángel y la muerte de ancianos como o deseo de la última imagen de aquel entre los suyos. La investigación es transversal por los siguientes objetivos: propongo un reconocimiento del acervo de Enoque Pereira das Neves en la intención de comprender el universo imaginario presente en su obra fotográfica. Invisto también, en la posibilidad de hacer la lectura del acervo como álbum imaginario.

Sexo não é brincadeira: o sentido de infância para adolescentes inseridas na exploração sexual comercial

The childhood has being highlighted by the great concern about the several contexts in which children are inserted, amongst them, commercial sexual exploitation (CSE). The experience of this violence process brings implications to the person constitution. Thus, this research aimed to understand how commercial sexual exploited adolescents to signify the childhood. Participated of this research four female adolescents that had been assisted by Programa de enfrentamento ao Abuso e Exploração Sexual de Crianças e Adolescentes (Sentinela) , with ages between 12 and 17 years. The corpus was composed by the combination of the semi-structured interview and other procedures, like childish stories, draws and photography. Moreover, we used another instruments to constitute the corpus, like the documental research and we proposed the construction of a life story book of each participant. The corpus was analyzed through the Thematic Content Analysis. Five thematic axes emerged from the participants discourse and theoretical perspective: dynamical of family, scholar process, ludic behavior, conception of childhood and insertion on CSE process. The participants presented a conception about childhood as been a preparation and education phase to ingress in adult life. In other words, while children do not grown up, they go to the school, plays, lives with family, are happy and do not have any responsibilities. Nevertheless, the life experience of these girls was implicated by negligence, sexual abuse, child labor, institutionalization and, evidently, the commercial sexual exploitation. Understanding that the childhood experienced by adolescent, as well as, her insertion on CSECA, constitutes her, while person, we investigated how the interrelation expresses it on participants future perspectives. Their goals are defined based on family constitution and professional improvement, although feelings of disillusion and pessimism had been showed up in some moments. According these results, we pointed to the necessity of the effective proposals that promote real improvement of adolescents life quality, through, in which they could to create alternatives to get over the several risks in which they are exposed, mainly, the CSECA condition

Segmentação Fuzzy de Texturas e Vídeos

The segmentation of an image aims to subdivide it into constituent regions or objects that have some relevant semantic content. This subdivision can also be applied to videos. However, in these cases, the objects appear in various frames that compose the videos. The task of segmenting an image becomes more complex when they are composed of objects that are defined by textural features, where the color information alone is not a good descriptor of the image. Fuzzy Segmentation is a region-growing segmentation algorithm that uses affinity functions in order to assign to each element in an image a grade of membership for each object (between 0 and 1). This work presents a modification of the Fuzzy Segmentation algorithm, for the purpose of improving the temporal and spatial complexity. The algorithm was adapted to segmenting color videos, treating them as 3D volume. In order to perform segmentation in videos, conventional color model or a hybrid model obtained by a method for choosing the best channels were used. The Fuzzy Segmentation algorithm was also applied to texture segmentation by using adaptive affinity functions defined for each object texture. Two types of affinity functions were used, one defined using the normal (or Gaussian) probability distribution and the other using the Skew Divergence. This latter, a Kullback-Leibler Divergence variation, is a measure of the difference between two probability distributions.
