The significance of the body in electronic music parties as a sign for communicating and socializing among participants is the focus of this work. Qualitative research undertaken in this study seeks to investigate how sociability happens at raves and nightclubs in Natal/RN. Sociability is understood here as a play expression involving the dimensions of music, dance and party; the body, seen from a transdisciplinary approach, is understood as a symbolic instance, with its own meanings, as a result and a producer of social and as a cross between the cultural and the biological. The body has a communicative potential, is primary media. An intersection point between nature and culture, it serves as the seat of emotions and sociability, since it is through it that social relations are made. In electronic music parties, the body is interpreted based on its communication signs: clothing, accessories, body movements, tactile contact, body language, interactions between the public and dj, the dj and the public, gestures, expressive speech of emotions. Through such signs, body communication and a sense of community among participants develop sociability in the festive place and change the mood of the dancers. The Natal s electronic music parties young goer interacts on parties, adopts cheerful and receptive positions towards the other, maintains physical contact, values dance as a form of communication and lists happiness as the main feeling aroused in electronic music festivals. To achieve this result, a plurimetodological approach was used, which consisted of various methodological devices and various techniques of investigation: ethnographic observation, individual and informal interview techniques, photographic record of the scene, in-depth interview and application thirty questionnaires to patrons of electronic music parties

The following research aims to address the image of the ordinary person in the films of the Pontos de Cultura (Culture Points) in Natal-RN. About ten years the Federal Government of Brazil created the Cultura Viva (Living Culture) program. It enabled the State to support financially civil society organizations that had developed cultural works in communities across the country. Along with the resources the program developed, in parallel, another action, Cultura Digital (Digital culture), intended to bring the tools of digital technology for people who have never had access to them. As a result of these initiatives were produced short films. These films were characterized by the presence of the image of the ordinary person. The creation of this type of cultural product was benefited by state initiative, however, it was inserted within a historical, political and cultural construction whose research was necessary for this image understood to be understood by its importance: it is the expression of emancipation the ordinary person and not just as a consumer of culture, it identifies them as the protagonists of the society and recognizes their vital role in its organization

Corpo e gestualidade :o jogo da capoeira e os jogos do conhecimento

In the direction of questing a sociology that considers the flesh dimension of the existence, that favors to think the body while place of the production of the knowledge, our itinerary of research is characterized for the reflection on the gesture of the body as power of life and production of knowledge, recognizing the precision of the gesture as a privileged breach of comment of the collective life, of the projection and registration of the culture, of the symbolic, of the sensitivity. Our problematic can be meet in the possibility to enhance an open and sensible rationality, tattooed in the body and accessible for the gestures, that its materialized in the relations of the human being with the other and the world, in singular and collective relations. Therefore, the gesture, constructed in the intention the experience of the body, can tell us about the human being, the society and the culture, therefore the sensed of the gestures is constructed from the established and recognized mutual actions for the citizens. It is in this field of production of the knowledge, of knowing of the meat that we direct our perception, in the challenge to immerge into the intention of the gesture in the capoeira game. Of the methodological point of view, for the analysis of the gestures of the capoeira, therefore, of the body as knowledge power, we consider registers of images as well as narratives registers of the universe of the capoeira, as well as my experience of more than seven years in the group of capoeira cordão de ouro1. A epistemological exercise has as support a qualitative research where parts of the quantity of images of the investigated group, as well as interviews, daily registers in of field and over all my experience of life next to the group and to the capoeira, in intention to recognize symbols tattooed in the body and for it produced in the inter subjectivists relations. We search therefore, to evidence sensible and meanings drawn for the gesture and evidenced by the look of the researcher. "Botar corpo":um estudo sobre corpo e sexualidade com meninas de camadas populares

Ce travail est une contribution aux études anthropologiques conduites sur la sexualité et le corps dans les classes populaires. Il cherche à analyser le processus de construction des représentations du corps ainsi que sa relation avec la sexualité et le genre, à partir d une approche de la construction sociale. En ce sens, la ligne directrice de cette discussion est d une part le concept de corps compris comme une construction socioculturelle propre à chaque société, d autre part les différents usages et représentations dont chaque classe sociale investit le corps. A cette fin, une recherche de caractère ethnographique a été réalisée auprès d adolescents âgés de treize à dix-sept ans, résidents d un quartier populaire de Natal (Brésil), le Guarapes. Conduit d avril 2005 à juillet 2006, ce travail de terrain a mêlé observation directe et entretiens avec des adolescents des deux sexes

Do olhar inquieto ao olhar comprometido: uma experiência de intervenção voltada para a atuação com alunos que apresentam paralisia cerebral

Compte tenu de l importance de la formation des enseignants pour répondre, de nos jours, aux besoins des élèves dont les caractéristiques marquantes sont la diversité et la différentiation, desquels nécessairement font partie , à un échelon croissant, des personnes atteintes d une déficience quelconque ; devant le constat que les actuelles politiques d éducation, en fonction de leurs limitations, peuvent être considérées comme un des principaux facteurs qui entravent la concrétisation d un vrai processus d inclusion de ces personnes ; compte tenu, encore, que le confront des situations éducatives concernant le processus d inclusion de ceux ayant des déficiences physiques, notamment lorsqu il s agit d élèves atteints de paralysie cérébrale, engendre chez les enseignants un état de troublante inquiétude du fait de ne se sentir convenablement préparés pour se confronter avec des situations pareilles, cette recherche, centrée sur cette problématique, a chosi comme objectif planifier, mettre en marche et analyser un programme d intervention pédagogique dans une école régulière de la ville de Natal/RN, auprès de quatre enseignants de l école fondamentale (7e Série) qui avaient reçu, dans leur classe, deux élèves atteints de paralysie cérébrale. S utilisant comme recours méthodologique de la recherche-action, le programme d intervention s est structuré autour de troix axes thématiques : l attitudinal, le pédagogique et le vécu en milieu scolaire, sous la forme de discussions théoriques et la mise en oeuvre de ces thématiques. Les données qui devraient être soumises à l analyse ont été collectées à partir des procédés d observation, d entretiens avant et après l intervention, du régistre de photos et d un questionnaire. Les interprétations faites, basées dans la comparaison du discours des sujets ont signalé que les enseignants ont progressé dans la maîtrise des savoirs scienfiques concernant la paralysie cérébrale et dans la connaissance des personnes atteintes par cette déficience. Par rapport aux valeurs et significations attribuées par les enseignants à ce programme d intervention à partir de leur choix des photos dans l ensemble du déroulement de ce processus formatif, elles s expriment par une prise de conscience très marquée, de la part des enseignants, par rapport :aux besoins éducatifs des élèves atteints de paralysie cérébrale ; à l importance et au vrai rôle que l école doit jouer face aux politiques d éducation inclusive ; aux difficultés vécues par ces personnes, qui réclament le plus profond respect de leurs ingularités ; la reconstruction d une nouvelle image concernant ces personnes ; la constatation qu il est possible aux enseignants d adapter et même de créer à l école des ressources et matériaux pédagogiques envisageant la qualité du processus d enseignement et apprentissage de l élève atteint de paralysie cérébrale ; finalement, la perception de l importance du travail en équipe, d un milieu scolaire accessible à ces personnes et de l appuis de la famille dans le contexte de l éducation inclusive. Les résultats obtenus, issus de ce programme d intervention, d après l évaluation finale des sujets, de part de témoigner de son efficacité, montrent que l intervention a été une excellente opportunité d habiliter ces enseignants et d améliorer le processus d enseignement à l école choisie comme le locus de cette recherche

A Poética do corpo no mito e na dança butô: por uma educação sensível

The thesis presents the body poetry and its inscribing in the myth and Butô dance. The argumentation highlights the sensitive dimension present in these itineraries, as a possibility to operate the emergency of knowing inscribed in the body, bringing a kind of rationality that links the fragments, that allows the knowing to break through the barriers of disciplinary isolation, that abandons the certainties and goes through the ways of creation and that gives the body new space and time, featuring epistemological elements, ethical and esthetical, that can permit a sensitive education. All along the way, we comprehend by sensitive education, a education that considers the relinking of logical, analogical, symbolic and artistic knowledge and therefore reconsiders the own act of knowing as a continuous and inconcluded process. That sensitive education is also understood as retaking the body experience, its sensitive nature, as well as being meaningful to reading the world. It includes the body memory, its history and creativity, opening it to innovation, change, sense amplification and dialogue with other bodies and world, because it is within them. It is about an investigation of phenomenologic nature, that dialogues philosophy and art, pointing breakdowns of this reflection foe the body and education studies. We find it necessary to notice the body language, that allows one to think through movements, articulate a thought that is risen from articulations, guts and all the body. This incarnated reason starts the expressive body action, that makes us move to mean, communicate, inaugurate senses. The main focus of this thesis is the formation of a mathematical teacher at a college institution. The general aim is to describe and to analyze the formation process of a mathematical teacher which is an undergraduate student in Mathematics at the Instituto de Educação Superior Presidente Kennedy IFESP, in Natal-RN. It is based on a qualitative ethnographic approach, and has its theoretical anchorage in the (auto)biographical narratives, the social representative theories, and the mathematical education. The number of participants in this investigation was 12 undergraduate students, which corresponds to 25% of the total number of students. The corpus utilized in our analysis included 48 (auto)biographical essays, 12 (auto)biographies (formation's memories), and 12 contextualization files, besides the research's diary. The sources were obtained from the whole program of studies, i.e. from November 2003 to December 2006. The analysis revealed that the reminiscences of the 12 students' academic trajectory influenced their professional formation, since their images of a mathematical teacher were intrinsically related to the one they had before. These representations were being either demolished or constructed in a network along the assertive image of their profession, changing afterwards the mathematical representation and the teaching way of this discipline. Our study also shows that the beginning of their teacher career was marked by mechanical practices influenced by their old teachers. The (trans)formation of themselves and their teaching practices happened in a smooth way as soon as they increased their knowledgements in Mathematics, and it reflected upon the way they learned mathematics. The writing of their (auto)biographies helped the set up of new knowledgements, leaving to a self-consciousness as well as a self-formation, and contributed for the construction of a new way to see and to live the profession. Therefore, a mathematical teacher, for the undergraduate students of the IFESP involved in this work, is made at the interface of the familiar, academic, and professional context, besides the reflexive writings about the formation path, the way of life and the relationships among them

Uma educação tecida no corpo

In theory say the education as a knot of meanings made in the body. We take as a reference for demonstration of this argument the shows Folguedos, Guarnicê and Flor do Lírio and built within such spectacles cultural, symbolic and aesthetic meanings, which reveal the education woven in the body. Education that can happen not only in the formal space like the classroom or the university, but also in the area of art and the inclusion of individuals in the world of culture. So during the construction of the thesis we reflect on the following issues: what is the construction of culture and art that have in the Parafolclórico group? What way theses shows in their buildings bring significant elements that might compose an educational activity. How objectives sought asking the dichotomies present in the concepts of art and culture; critically systematize a work of artistic, cultural and educational production in the group, in addition to expanding the understanding of education, considering the body experiences. The phenomenological attitude of Merleau-Ponty, is a reference methodology of this study, which places the reference knowledge as a result of our experience in the world, our world lived. Thus, this study considers the experience of the researcher in the three shows in tariff, represented by scenes described, as a dancer and spectator. Therefore we understand that Folguedos, Guarnicê and Flor do Lírio in their artistic, aesthetic and cultural languages, allow many meanings that occur in the body, which invites the perception and extend the experience of the subject, demonstrating an education that allows sight and knowledge, seeking new sensations and experiences, we show our intimacy with the world, with the objects and with the other. The art is understood as virtuality, as a human creation that carries the reality and that allows many readings and experiences, each perception can recognize and know new horizons, having as base and material the culture. This entails the heterogeneous, is not closed but that individuals can interpret it entered and recognize the symbols they created the same way, confirming a unit. The art and culture show us significant evidences of an education woven in the body

Mens sana in corpore sano: compreensões de corpo, saúde e educação

This thesis proposes that the idea expressed in Juvenal s quotation Mens Sana in Corpore Sano, produced in the Ancient Greek-Roman civilization includes undestandings of body, heath and education that were reapropriated and reorganized by scientific and pedagogical theories in the XIX and XX centuries. These theories, especially the ones that received contributions from the biomedical sciences, have influenced Physical Education in the search of becoming a science. In order to realize this reapropriation, we have analyzed the transformations in the concepts of body, health and education produced in the area discourse, aiming at pointing out elements to the configuration of a theory that is being called Corpore Sano. The theory constitutes in possible systematization of scientific, philosophical and pedagogical concepts, and as such, an understanding of the scientific fundaments of Physical Education. The corpus of this analysis was composed by 148 articles that were published in Revista Brasileira de Ciências do Esporte digitalized in the period between 1979 and 2003 and selected according to theme: body, biology, physical activity, effort physiology and health. The analysis of the content and the referential interpretation allowed the combination of philosophical reflection with attention to the empiric field as a comprehensive dimension. Based on the corpus of the analysis it is possible to configure meta-arguments about the concepts of body, health and education in the scientific production of Physical Education. As a metaresearch. Our study did not intend to judge the analyzed production, but look for theoretical elements that may generate a reflection about the scientific rationality in Physical Education and developments in the pedagogical field and in body practices. Such a reflection might be recognized as a theory of the living body, susceptible to modifications and interrogations that are proper of knowledge and practices of Physical Education. It is a theory rejects the idea of the complete truth and holds the comprehension that the truth is built historically through relations among different kinds of knowledge and Physical Education practices

Devaneio do olhar: uma experiência de produção e leitura da imagem através do vídeo na prática pedagógica

A partir de la constatación de la importancia que la imagen viene ejerciendo en la sociedad actual y, más específicamente, en el proceso educativo, el presente estudio busca dilucidar algunas cuestiones referentes a la lectura de la imagen, producción de imágenes y su utilización en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Para tanto, buscó relacionar los elementos que constituyen la narrativa visual a la perspectiva de Paulo Freire, de buscar en el contexto de vida la producción de conocimiento aliándolos las tecnologías de la imagen visando la alfabetización visual y también al acceso democrático a las nuevas tecnologías de comunicación e información. El estudio fue mediado por la elaboración de un documental en vídeo, en que enfocamos las imágenes fijas del artista local Newton Navarro, con fines de experiencia en producción y lectura de la imagen. La realización del trabajo y la aplicación en aula los colocaron delante de una nueva perspectiva educativa: el cambio de la posición de espectadores para la de productores. Eso posibilitó un nuevo mirar, donde la lectura de la imagen permitió una mayor reflexión acerca de las actuales prácticas educativas

Corpo e escrita: linhas e entrelinhas da produção de conhecimento em sala de aula

Body and writing: Lines and between-lines of production of knowledge in the classroom it is an ethnographic research, longitudinal character, based on experience while experienced educator of the Escola Municipal Professor Amadeu Araújo, located in the city of Natal-RN, from which are made reflections about texts written by students who have distorted age/education level, in the process of literacy. Here as initial goal: to discuss the production of students writing as a process body, considering the record of experiences and the impressions they have made during the teaching process. We initially by a conception of phenomenological body, by understanding it in its complexity, a phenomenon that is made from its relationship with the world and with the Other. The records examined were produced between the year 2000 and 2005 involving writings of 106 students, constituting a universe of 136 texts, from which, delimited a corpus of 27 texts. The relevance with respect to the theme and recurrence in which they were detected, were up to elements that allowed a systematization methodology, defining the following units of analysis: Body, written in everyday; body, written and sexuality; body, written and enjoyment poetics; body, writing and other stories. We used the techniques of search, participant observation, based on the actions and interactions body expressed during the experiment and the analysis of documents that consisted of students in the texts and secondary sources, among them, the records of daily class, reports and projects developed, as well as reports of my pedagogical practice, as a researcher inserted in the investigative process. The experience developed, showed a writing school able to express nuances of human complexity, showing that learning is made in the action body, crossed by various forms of language and pointing to the relevance of a pedagogical work able to articulate the dialogue between the written and registrations body of the students, as subjects of learning

Interfaces do corpo e da corporeidade na pedagogia Freinet

La recherche discute les interfaces du corps et de la corporéité dans l espace scolaire, dans une perspective freinetienne . Pour cela, un peu de l Histoire de la Pédagogie sera évoquée, en observant quel est l espace destiné au corps et à la corporéité. Pour ce dialogue, la base d une pensée pédagogique de renom a été nécessaire. Le choix s est alors porté sur la pédagogie freinetienne , pédagogie populaire progressiste qui renvoit le sujet à la nécessité de l action. Le dialogue a été établi dans le sens de comprendre le corps dans la Pédagogie Freinet, dans une interface avec l Éducation, ainsi que de la discuter, en prenant pour référence la corporéité comme paradigme éducationnel. Pour cela trois uvres de Freinet ont été fondamentalement utilisées: Essai de Psycologie Sensible; Éducation du Travail et Pour l École du Peuple. Une recherche de nature qualitative a été réalisée. Quant à la méthodologie, l Herméneutique a été choisie, puisque au travers de la recherche et de la réfléxion il a été possible d articuler des concepts qui apportèrent les réponses aux questions de l étude: quelle est la conception de corps que laisse transparaître la Pédagogie Freinet? Quelles sont les interfaces entre les études du corps et de la corporéité dans la contemporanéité avec la Pédagogie Freinet? Comment la Pédagogie Freinet comprend et valorise le corps dans le processus d apprentissage? À la fin de la recherche, il est constaté que le corps est mis en évidence dans la Pédagogie Freinet, un corps qui est considéré dans son histoire et signification. Il est perçut que les études contemporaines sur le corps et la corporéité se rapprochent du discours freinetien , principalement quand les principes de la Libre Expression et du Tâtonnement sont traités dans sa pédagogie, ce qui amène à l interprétation d un corps non comme médiateur de l apprentissage, mais bien un apprentissage qui se fait à partir du propre corps
