Rejeição e voto em eleição contemporânea: um estudo de caso da eleição à prefeitura do município de Natal/RN (2012)

Given the importance that political science and social sciences give studies of voting behavior, this study sought to fill this academic discussion another important element that makes up this complex set. From the campaign trail to City Christmas in 2012 work has been undertaken analysis of rejection in the first and second rounds of this election. For this analysis we used two sources of data: quantitative research, conducted by Search Consult the first and second rounds of elections, and the use of focus group technique, performed in the second round of elections. Knowing the various factors that may affect the voting decision, but also the dynamism that pervades a political dispute, seek, with this work, contribute to the deepening of the rejection of studies, aiming to bring subsidies presenting information to better explain the behavior studies election. The results showed that there is a less expressive, the chamda strong rejection. We speak of that rejection based on a political, historical and ideological. The reason for the weak presence of strong rejection seems to be little involvement of voters with politics and, consequently, low knowledge about politics and politicians. We refer here to a kind of rejection that develops during the election process depending on the preference of the voter and according to the circumstances of the campaign. The data also lead us to conclude that television is as an instrument for the dissemination of ideas that can contribute in shaping the opinion of viewers. O amor em tempos de internet: as expectativas amorosas na rede social Badoo

This research aims to examine the phenomenon of sexual relations by observing the Social Network Badoo. As a means to achieve this objective, qualitative in-depth interviews were conducted online. The main question is to understand how the amorous expectations in the liquid modernity are configured. Added to that, there is as analysis categories the insight about relationships and the love experiences provided by the use of the Social Network Badoo. There are three initial hypotheses: 1) a time of transition is experienced, in which the liquid love in the proposed terms by Bauman (2004) was gaining ground and, as consequence, the relationships would be presenting themselves shorter, more open and with another interactive proposals for the relations. 2) The consuming practices of the liquid modernity can interpellate the relational practices molding them according to your logic. 3) It is assumed that the reasoning, inherent to the market, of the use followed by the disposal settles itself in the social behavior and this practice is accentuated by technology, through the use of the internet for the establishment of romantic relationships.the empirical analysis shows that both the vision on relationships as the amorous expectations in liquid modernity have as references the model of solid loving relationship, inherent to the traditional modernity. However it also demonstrates that the romantic experiences and practices refer to the liquid relationship model. Therefore, from these statements it is argued that there is in liquid modernity the cohabitation of the liquid and solid models of romantic relationships. The thesis describes parallel possibilities between the knowledge built in theatre and in Science. The narrative is constructed through a reflexive observation of the process of making a threatical play, specifically O Tempo da Chuva by Grupo Beira de Teatro , in analogy to the process of making a scientific theory, specifically the one described by Werner Heisenberg in his book Physics and Beyond: encounters and conversations . It sets a dialog with authors/actors from various areas of knowledge, such as Edgar Morin, Werner Heisenberg, René Descartes, Paul Feyerabend, Paul Caro, Juremir Machado da Silva, Maria da Conceição de Almeida, Renato Ferracini, among others. It discusses the hypothesis that Science is the process of building and the theatrical process of building a play can also be systematized, likewise science. The thesis defends, as the complexities science may suggest, a method as a strategy. Developed throughout the process, such method could only be verified at the end, when the elements of the setting of atomic physics theories and theatre were correlated. Questions such as: the place of theatre and science in our contemporary society and the political and ethical role of artists and scientists are at the episthemological basis of this narrative which we have started, but it is not even close to a conclusion

This work has as objective approaches the relationship among journalism, literature and society in Lima Barreto, especially in fiction book Recordações do escrivão Isaías Caminha and in several of their chronicles, detecting the superficiality notion that author sees in the journalistic activity and to point that the literature brings the particularity of presenting as an alive laboratory for the social sciences. Corpo e gestualidade :o jogo da capoeira e os jogos do conhecimento

In the direction of questing a sociology that considers the flesh dimension of the existence, that favors to think the body while place of the production of the knowledge, our itinerary of research is characterized for the reflection on the gesture of the body as power of life and production of knowledge, recognizing the precision of the gesture as a privileged breach of comment of the collective life, of the projection and registration of the culture, of the symbolic, of the sensitivity. Our problematic can be meet in the possibility to enhance an open and sensible rationality, tattooed in the body and accessible for the gestures, that its materialized in the relations of the human being with the other and the world, in singular and collective relations. Therefore, the gesture, constructed in the intention the experience of the body, can tell us about the human being, the society and the culture, therefore the sensed of the gestures is constructed from the established and recognized mutual actions for the citizens. It is in this field of production of the knowledge, of knowing of the meat that we direct our perception, in the challenge to immerge into the intention of the gesture in the capoeira game. Of the methodological point of view, for the analysis of the gestures of the capoeira, therefore, of the body as knowledge power, we consider registers of images as well as narratives registers of the universe of the capoeira, as well as my experience of more than seven years in the group of capoeira cordão de ouro1. A epistemological exercise has as support a qualitative research where parts of the quantity of images of the investigated group, as well as interviews, daily registers in of field and over all my experience of life next to the group and to the capoeira, in intention to recognize symbols tattooed in the body and for it produced in the inter subjectivists relations. We search therefore, to evidence sensible and meanings drawn for the gesture and evidenced by the look of the researcher. Instâncias da representação imagética hiper-real

The approach that undertakes this work revolves around the emergence of iconic structures on reflecting about the meaning of different methods of image representation through which the contemporaneity reveals itself. At baseline, three aspects are considered looking for an analytical ontology of the act of representation and imagery: the transition of representation in the oral culture of societies for writing, from these to typography, and finally the creation of a representation device. Resorted to, therefore, the argument by some genealogy reference points that technological instances such as writing, printing and photography, the evolution of this process, correspond, in itself, a consequent shift technique, for each representation precedent. In the area of the image, the most salient aspect of this change in foward process is the emergence of hyper-reality: the instances of hyper-realistic representation. In the Western context, the 'simulation of the world' - essential idea of mimesis is the work of an autonomous an conventional system. It should be noted, then the fact that under unreflective of the post-industrial societies, the mass-media image is coating with natural or fake code including - according to Baudrillard - tends to replace the real world in the "perpetuation of a large chain of simulacra." Hence in modern times, in the postindustrial society, during the crisis of the representation regimen and perception, centered in the referent. In this limit, new settings are established by aesthetic representations of imagery in contemporary culture: establishing spaces of simulation [Jean Baudrillard] the spectacle [Guy Debord] and hypermodernity [Gilles Lipovetsky] in which they operate. In these assemblages, saps the emergence of Hyper-reality Representation Instances - as seen in this study aesthetic events to configure itineraries of a new sensibility. It is the nature of this practice sign-iconic, ingrained in the creation of current artistic expression, which this research engaged in peering: the hyper-realistic setting, taking empirical support central to contemporary imagery production, diverse formats of analog representation.

O santo do purgatório:a transformação mítica do cangaceiro Jararaca em herói

This research intends to narrate the journey of a simple man who was turned into a saint by a group of believers in Mossoró, west of Rio Grande do Norte. We recognized in the story of José Leite Santana, the "cangaceiro" Jararacá, an appropriated land to build an investigative approach of how characters as different as bandit and saint can be interconnected. From the believers speech, a narrative was created about these detachments of concepts based on the hero myth that is shown here as a part of men´s dealing with death

Albuns fotográficos de/por Enoque Neves: uma poética visual

La imagen fotográfica la imagen despierta pulsiones, en una experiencia provocativa que acciona el campo mítico-fenomenológico descíframe o te devoro . El texto fotográfico no constituye sólo un momento del real , es mucho más que un recorte gélido del tiempo pasado. Sobretodo, porque la comprensión del lenguaje subyacente a la imagen fotográfica se coloca dentro y más allá de lo meramente dado y/o objetivado . En la comprensión de la imagen se disponen regímenes de subjetivación horadado por códigos culturales, dominios del lenguaje, símbolos, experiencias estéticas, creación simbólica, valores, memorias, imaginarios. En ese sentido, surge el estudio, el levantamiento y la sistematización del acervo fotográfico dejado por el fotógrafo autodidacta: Enoque Pereira das Neves (1918-2002), que produjo formas visuales reveladoras de orientaciones culturales colectivas y universos fotográficos imaginarios. Él fotografió por medio siglo la vida cotidiana del campesino, en tierras potiguares y paraibanas. En la comprensión del acervo opte por subdividirlo en álbumes los cuales revelan las intimidades del fotógrafo con el lugar, una escrita de si, un estado del alma, del sujeto que observa la relación sociedad y naturaleza, en una especie de simbiosis en que accionan potencias resonantes de creación en el devaneo de la materia, sobresaliéndose a la pulsión terrestre, o enraizamiento, os rizomas del hombre unido a la tierra, las tradiciones, a rusticidad, laboral, bien como el apelo estético direccionado al agua: pulsión de vida en tierras áridas. La comprensión del inmenso acervo, evaluado en más de cincuenta mil fotografías es profundamente representativa de predilección temática circunstanciada por la niñez, la narrativa enfoca imágenes míticas como la del Eros nudo, la madona y el niño, y prácticas culturales del universo infantil, como el juguete y el juego. Mismo el acervo siendo un apelo estético a la vida surgió la imagen fotográfica de la muerte, especialmente, la muerte en la niñez o ángel y la muerte de ancianos como o deseo de la última imagen de aquel entre los suyos. La investigación es transversal por los siguientes objetivos: propongo un reconocimiento del acervo de Enoque Pereira das Neves en la intención de comprender el universo imaginario presente en su obra fotográfica. Invisto también, en la posibilidad de hacer la lectura del acervo como álbum imaginario.

A arte rupestre como expressão comunicativa da cultura

Along their existence, through of the millenniuns, the Man registers, one way or another, their saga. One in those registration ways is the rupestrian art. Through the rupestrian art the Prehistory is brought even us, portraying in images the daily ritualist and magic of the Man, in scenes that show, among other, their cults and also their daily hard work. The Man is imposed, while registering of their existence, starting from the moment in that he is capable to leave their marks through the transformation that attributes to the Nature; also for the produced interferences and for the cultural singularities that themselves were constituted before the period of the alphabetical writing. In an artifice of duplicating utensils and in the sense of representing animals and to himself own, he delegated us a communicative system whose contexts and details were - and it continue being - an enigma to be deciphered. Starting from this argument, the research has for objective to understand the daily and the history of cultural groups that they preceded us, taking as base the reading of the rupestrian paintings found at the located archeological ranches in the Area of Seridó, more specifically in the Complexo Xique-xique, close to the Municipal district of Carnaúba dos Dantas, distant 220 kilometers of Natal, the capital of Rio Grande do Norte State

Os Sertões of Euclides da Cunha is one of the most studied books of Brazilian social thought, with approaches ranging from literature to geology, mobilizing concepts and theoretical and disciplinary perspectives the most diverse. This work aims to identify the process of building the concept of race by Euclides da Cunha in this work. To achieve this goal, will be studied, at first, the process of intellectual and political formation of Euclides da Cunha in the years prior to his trip to Canudos, in order to identify the presence of themes and authors in their thinking, using for this purpose, as the main source, your correspondence and press articles, which are expressed in the basic references of his training and dialogue on topics and authors that permeated their way of thinking about the Brazilian reality in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century. In the second stage of labor, with reference to the study of the presence of several theories that explain human behavior from racial lines, with a strong Brazilian influence in the intellectual environment of the late nineteenth century, an analytical effort will be made in order to understand the synthesis made specific by Euclides da Cunha in the preparation of his work, to identify the main authors based their thinking on this aspect of the changes in your way of thinking about the man of the interior in an attempt to understand how the concept this race is in the interpretation of the conflict happened in Canudos and action of some of her protagonists

Lévi-Strauss Mitológicas: Mito e música entre o largo e o prestíssimo

This study was elaborated based on our research of the work Mithologiques by the anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss (1908-2009), which affirms that languages, indigenous myths and music are related. He proposes that the understanding of myths occurs in a similar manner as with an orchestral score. In the course of his tetralogy we investigated the musical terms used in the analysis and in the division of the chapters, especially in the first volume of his work. Several compositional procedures and forms are named. Composers in pairs are categorized: Sebastian Bach for the code, Ludwig van Beethoven for the message, and Richard Wagner for the myths. In this deduction, we structured in parts: theme and variations, sonata and fugue with the aforementioned composers. Within the greatness of anthropological study, from among over 800 myths, we selected the first five of the indigenous tribe Bororo to discuss within the Theme and Variation segment. In the Sonata part there are two myths with the same theme: The wife of the jaguar which relates to the compositional structure, and four myths about The origin of women. Finally, in the segment related to the Fugue, we collected four myths that address The shortness of life. Honoring the many terms expressed in opposition, contrast, or symmetry under consideration in Levi-Strauss work, we entitled this thesis emphasizing the migration between the tempos Largo and Prestíssimo as these are oppositional presentations in music. Fifteen musical myths accompany the work supported by selected narratives. In light of this we questioned, we questioned: how are incest, murder and other events part of a society that elevates nature as an extension of life itself? And how did Lévi-Strauss think that anthropology harmonized with music? In the preparation of this study, philosophers like Peter Sloterdijk discuss the circular territory of Mythology
