From the research and awareness of literary work, this thesis discusses aspects related to the study of homoeroticism and lifestyles in the works Dancer from the Dance (2001) by Andrew Holleran and Pela noite (2010) by Brazilian author Caio Fernando Abreu. Whereas issues about beauty, desire and lifestyle shape cutouts important to the narrative, I propose a discussion by examining the works that mark from the first moments of sexual release party in New York with the peculiarities of their own styles that characterized the Andrew Holleran characters rostificadas by an ethos that he composed during this time opening for freedom of sexual deviant sexualities. In Pela noite, we reiterate a continuation of opening moment in Brazil for gay characters Caio , assuming the early 1980s for those characters is the first " shadows " of AIDS and knowledge of self , in which his characters living with fear, anonymity and reminiscences of homophobia as a backdrop to the discussions that are triggered off by the author . To compose a theoretical framework to subsidize this work , we selected the works of Michel Foucault (2007 , 2010a , 2010b ) , Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick (2008 ) , Didier Eribon (2008 ) , David Cartier (2004 ) , David Eisenbach (2006 ) and other contributions that were undoubtedly essential to this endeavor

A vida em família: parentesco, relações sociais e estilo de vida entre os calons de Sobral, Ceará

This thesis analyzes the social relations of Cavalcante family of Gypsies who live in the city of Sobral, Ceará; especially as kinship relations are lived in a context marked by tensions and instability. From the domestic core ethnography conducted from January to June 2013, and observing the representations by gypsies around the family term, the goal is to show how these representations are activated to describe forms of solidarity between gypsies. To define themselves in terms of how a "big family", the ciganos to demarcate the non-Roma and prepare themselves for life in society codes that can be changed in the audience and situations. The paper discusses the role of family relationships in the forms of sociability and conflicts, matrimonial strategies, including non-gypsies, work practices, defining a gypsy lifestyle.

Estilo de vida e vulnerabilidade social dos adolescentes no Bairro de Felipe Camarão, Natal/RN, 2005

Este estudo descreve o estilo de vida e vulnerabilidade dos adolescentes do bairro Felipe Camarão em Natal-RN, a fim de compreender seus comportamentos, conforme vulnerabilidades identificadas. Foram aplicados 145 questionários semi-estruturados entre os adolescentes de 12 a 18 anos, no período de janeiro, a abril de 2005. O estilo de vida descrito, conforme os dados colhidos, informa que 92,4% sabem da importância de se alimentar bem, 86,9% têm sono preservado; 76,5% têm boa relação com seus pais. Porém, 86,9% afirmaram não haver área de lazer/diversão no bairro, enquanto os 31,0% não responderam sobre higiene corporal; 41,4% consomem drogas lícitas (maioria álcool), enquanto 37,9%, as ilícitas (maioria cola); 51,7% dizem que não conversam sobre sexo, enquanto 30,3% conversam com suas mães; 38,0% estão sexualmente ativos, iniciados entre 13 a 16 anos. Os comportamentos de alguns adolescentes estudados indicam um estilo de vida saudável, enquanto outros demonstram justamente o contrário, através de práticas como: pouca participação no lazer, por falta de opção; consumo de drogas lícitas e ilícitas; a falta de diálogo com os pais sobre sexo; relacionamento sexual precoce, somados às condições econômicas e sociais desfavorecidas que os expõem à adoção de um estilo de vida que implica em vulnerabilidade

The transformations economical, social and politics in you finish them decades of the century XX brought changes that didn't just limit to the production system. The State has been investing in the implantation of plans of tourist development in order to create favorable conditions for the reproduction of the tourist activity in Brazil, mainly in the Northeast. A space when it starts to present a predominant economical activity suffers a restructuring in their social and economical relationships. The restructuring of these relationships takes to the construction of a new espacialidade. In the city of Christmas, in Rio Grande do Norte, the neighborhood of Black Tip is the most representative of the public investments for the tourist development. After intense process of tourist urbanization, Black Tip passed interfering in the global context consolidating as the tourist locus in the city. The tourist urbanization of the neighborhood took to the transformation of the space in merchandise that is sold and consumed as such. The recreation of fragments of other cultures brought by social actors, resulting from migratory processes stimulated by the tourist development, it has been presenting ruled social relationships in the informational technology, consumption of global goods and in the fragmentation of the urban space characterized by the internationalization and cosmopolitização. That process has been masking the inequalities partners and cultural as well as the territorial appropriation for an economical elite. The spaces are being appropriate for investors of the tourist section, private investors, agents and real estate producers, where the inequality is not just economical, but also cultural. The local population, mainly of the urban fraction of the Town of Black Tip, it doesn't participate of the productive process in function of the little or any professional qualification and he/she doesn't also have access to the consumption process. To the native ones it remains the fight for the preservation of his/her cultural identity and for the survival
