O ambiente empresarial, tanto em nível mundial como nacional, tem passado por profundas mudanças nos últimos anos, as quais têm sido consideradas diretamente relacionadas com a Tecnologia de Informação, e mais especificamente com a aplicação de tecnologia de informação e comunicação na educação, considerada uma realidade com alguns casos de sucesso. Este projeto tem como objetivo principal identificar as possíveis aplicações desta tecnologia num curso de educação continuada, analisando os seus aspectos críticos e as contribuições oferecidas e confirmadas destas aplicações. O caso a ser utilizado será um curso de educação continuada da EAESP/FGV. A sua contribuição é o aprimoramento do conhecimento sobre aplicações de tecnologia na área educacional, assim como a identificação de seus aspectos e contribuições.

Comércio eletrônico: situação atual e tendências

O ambiente empresarial, tanto em nível mundial como nacional, tem passado por profundas mudanças nos últimos anos, as quais têm sido consideradas diretamente relacionadas com a Tecnologia de Informação, e mais especificamente com o Comércio Eletrônico, considerado um realidade nos vários setores da economia. Este projeto de pesquisa tem como objetivo principal identificar a situação atual do Comércio Eletrônico, em três dimensões: processos permeados pela aplicação desta tecnologia, tanto em nível de quantidade como de valor de transações; aspectos críticos; e contribuições oferecidas e efetivadas. A sua contribuição é a consolidação dos componentes de estudo de Comércio Eletrônico, assim como a identificação de sua situação atual e tendências.

Política antitruste: aspectos relevantes para o caso brasileiro

This work intends to show some aspects of antitrust policy that are relevant to the Brazilian case. For this purpose, it has five parts. Chapter I - Introduction, as the title suggests, simultaneously introduces and emphasizes what will be shown in the next chapters. Chapter II - General view or understanding the antitrust gives a comprehensive view of the historical evolution on antitrust matters, explores the relationship between State action, globalization and competitiveness and presents some of the essential concepts on antitrust field. Chapter III - The antitrust policy in Brazil focuses on the legal evolution of antitrust institutes in Brazil - highlighting its strategic dimension and insertion on "Plano Plurianual - PPA", the Brazilian official long-run plan - and presents the "Sistema Brasileiro de Defesa da Concorrência - SBDC", the Brazilian system for defence of competition. Chapter IV - Antitrust policy, connections and consequences shows the relevant links and inferences to the Brazilian case such as the development of competitive advantages, the formulation of competitive strategies, the well-known objectives and instruments of antitrust policy, the acceptable principles to an antitrust institutional design and, finally, the critical aspects of the Brazilian current model together with the suggestions to improve it. To finish, Chapter V - Final considerations outlines some reflections regarding the previous exposed antitrust matters.

Fatores críticos de sucesso na corretagem de ações pela internet na visão do investidor: um estudo exploratório

The aim of this study is to investigate, under the perspective of the investor, the determinant factors for the success of the stock brokerage process over the Web, through financial portals in the Brazilian Internet. This study is based on a theoretical framework which shows the evolution of the electronic commerce all over the world, and, specially, in Brazil; analyses the role of intermediation, desintermediation and reintermediation in the electronic commerce; stresses the differences between the traditional stocks brokerage process and the one made possible by the Internet; and, finally, describes the profile of the investors which operates their investments in the financial markets over the Web.The conclusions of this study are obtained based on a field study, conducted with Brazilian investors that operate using Internet based financial portals for the intermediation of their stock operations. The findings obtained where analyzed under the perspective brought by the theoretical reference framework, and, based on this approach, the critical aspects for the success of stock brokerage over the Internet, under the vision of the investor, could be deducted and discussed.

Jogada de craque? fatores críticos que levam empresas públicas a patrocinarem o esporte

A dissertação aborda aspectos concernentes ao marketing esportivo no Brasil, com ênfase no patrocínio a modalidades exercido pelas empresas públicas. Na arena em que atuam com papel de destaque, muito pouco ainda é sabido sobre os interesses no apoio por parte destas corporações. Quais seriam, então, os fatores críticos que levam empresas públicas a patrocinarem o esporte? Através de pesquisa bibliográfica, evidencia-se o vasto potencial que o marketing esportivo detém em termos de comunicação e de mercadologia. E através de estudo de caso envolvendo motivações no BNDES e na Eletrobras, pretende-se generalizar os objetivos das empresas públicas com o uso do patrocínio esportivo.

Competition and cooperation between international courts: a critical approach to the new paradigms of cross-border dispute resolution model

This article examines the arising cross-border dispute resolution models (Cooperation and Competition among national Courts) from a critical perspective. Although they have been conceived to surpass the ordinary solution of a Modern paradigm (exclusive jurisdiction, choice of court, lis pendens, forum non conveniens, among others), they are insufficient to deal with problems raised with present globalization, as they do not abandon aspects of that paradigm, namely, (i) statebased Law; and (ii) standardization of cultural issues.
