The rapid development of data transfer through internet made it easier to send the data accurate and faster to the destination. There are many transmission media to transfer the data to destination like e-mails; at the same time it is may be easier to modify and misuse the valuable information through hacking. So, in order to transfer the data securely to the destination without any modifications, there are many approaches like cryptography and steganography. This paper deals with the image steganography as well as with the different security issues, general overview of cryptography, steganography and digital watermarking approaches.  The problem of copyright violation of multimedia data has increased due to the enormous growth of computer networks that provides fast and error free transmission of any unauthorized duplicate and possibly manipulated copy of multimedia information. In order to be effective for copyright protection, digital watermark must be robust which are difficult to remove from the object in which they are embedded despite a variety of possible attacks. The message to be send safe and secure, we use watermarking. We use invisible watermarking to embed the message using LSB (Least Significant Bit) steganographic technique. The standard LSB technique embed the message in every pixel, but my contribution for this proposed watermarking, works with the hint for embedding the message only on the image edges alone. If the hacker knows that the system uses LSB technique also, it cannot decrypt correct message. To make my system robust and secure, we added cryptography algorithm as Vigenere square. Whereas the message is transmitted in cipher text and its added advantage to the proposed system. The standard Vigenere square algorithm works with either lower case or upper case. The proposed cryptography algorithm is Vigenere square with extension of numbers also. We can keep the crypto key with combination of characters and numbers. So by using these modifications and updating in this existing algorithm and combination of cryptography and steganography method we develop a secure and strong watermarking method. Performance of this watermarking scheme has been analyzed by evaluating the robustness of the algorithm with PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) and MSE (Mean Square Error) against the quality of the image for large amount of data. While coming to see results of the proposed encryption, higher value of 89dB of PSNR with small value of MSE is 0.0017. Then it seems the proposed watermarking system is secure and robust for hiding secure information in any digital system, because this system collect the properties of both steganography and cryptography sciences.

Att kunna gÃr en effektiv undersÃkning av det flyktiga minnet är nÃ¥got som blir viktigare ochviktigare i IT-forensiska utredningar. Dels under Linux och Windows baserade PC installationermen ocksÃ¥ fÃr mobila enheter i form av Android och enheter baserade andra mobila opperativsy-stem.Android använder sig av en modifierad Linux-kärna var modifikationer är fÃr att anpassa kärnantill de speciella krav som gäller fÃr ett mobilt operativsystem. Dessa modifikationer innefattardels meddelandehantering mellan processer men även ändringar till hur internminnet hanteras ochÃvervakas.DÃ¥ dessa tvÃ¥ kärnor är sÃ¥ pass nära besläktade kan samma grundläggande principer användas fÃratt dumpa och undersÃka minne. Dumpningen sker via en kärn-modul vilket i den här rapportenutgÃrs av en programvara vid namn LiME vilken kan hantera bägge kärnorna.Analys av minnet kräver att verktygen som används har en fÃrstÃ¥else fÃr minneslayouten i frÃ¥ga.Beroende pÃ¥ vilken metod verktyget använder sÃ¥ kan det även behÃvas information om olika sym-boler. Verktyget som används i det här examensarbetet heter Volatility och klarar pÃ¥ papperet avatt extrahera all den information som behÃvs fÃr att kunna gÃra en korrekt undersÃkning.Arbetet avsÃ¥g att vidareutveckla existerande metoder fÃr analys av det flyktiga minnet pÃ¥ Linux-baserade maskiner (PC) och inbyggda system(Android). Problem uppstod dÃ¥ undersÃkning avflyktigt minne pÃ¥ Android och satta mÃ¥l kunde inte uppnÃ¥s fullt ut. Det visade sig att minnesanalysriktat emot PC-plattformen är bÃ¥de enklare och smidigare än vad det är mot Android.

I dagens samhälle har det skett en strukturomvandling pÃ¥ marknaden gällande detaljhandeln.Strukturomvandlingen har inneburit utveckling av bland annat omnikanaler och e-handelvilket har fÃrändrat fÃretagens affärsmodellsval fÃr att kunna Ãverleva pÃ¥ marknaden. Ehandelnhar i mÃ¥nga Ã¥r setts som en konkurrent fÃr mikrofÃretag, men det bÃrjar även blimÃjligt fÃr mikrofÃretag att infÃra ett integrerat system som innebär att den fysiska butikensamverkar med e-handeln. Resultatet av de Ãkade mÃjligheterna fÃr mikrofÃretag är att de kanvälja mellan tre olika affärsmodellsval gällande sin marknadsplats och tillgänglighet avfÃretaget och sedan utifrÃ¥n omnikanaler kan fÃretagen välja hur de vill nÃ¥ ut tillkonsumenterna.I denna studie vill vi fÃ¥ en Ãkad fÃrstÃ¥else fÃr hur lokala mikrofÃretag arbetar med att behÃ¥llasin marknadsplats i den Ãkade konkurrensen som blir i och med e-handelns tillväxt. FÃr attkunna undersÃka mikrofÃretagen har vi tillämpat en kvalitativ metod med djupgÃ¥endehalvstrukturerade intervjuer. FÃr att fÃ¥ reda pÃ¥ hur lokala handlare uppfattar marknaden,konkurrensen och handelsutvecklingen, intervjuades fem stycken strategiskt valdadetaljhandelsfÃretag.Av undersÃkningen framgick det att en gemensam syn kring marknaden fÃreligger vilketinnebar att oavsett fÃretagens val sÃ¥ har fÃretagen sitt fokus pÃ¥ konsumenten. Det framgickäven att en av de viktigaste framgÃ¥ngsfaktorerna är att tillgodose konsumenten med hÃgservicegrad och pÃ¥ sÃ¥ sätt skapa en relation. Relationer bidrar till Ã¥terkommande och lojalakonsumenter vilket i sin tur bidrar till lÃnsamhet fÃr fÃretaget. Samtliga informanter var enigaom att relationer upprättas i den fysiska butiken och har sÃ¥ledes valt att fokusera pÃ¥ denenskilda butiken i internets ständiga utveckling. FÃr att attrahera konsumenter till butiken harde valt att tillhandahÃ¥lla ett unikt sortiment. Sammanfattningsvis har internet och handelnsutveckling och den konkurrens det medfÃr pÃ¥ lokala handlarna blivit tvungna ta ställning tilldet och anpassa en affärsmodell utefter sin egen verksamhet.

The main objective for this degree project is to implement an Application Availability Monitoring (AAM) system named Softek EnView for Fujitsu Services. The aim of implementing the AAM system is to proactively identify end user performance problems, such as application and site performance, before the actual end users experience them. No matter how well applications and sites are designed and nomatter how well they meet business requirements, they are useless to the end users if the performance is slow and/or unreliable. It is important for the customers to find out whether the end user problems are caused by the network or application malfunction. The Softek EnView was comprised of the following EnView components: Robot, Monitor, Reporter, Collector and Repository. The implemented system, however, is designed to use only some of these EnView elements: Robot, Reporter and depository. Robots can be placed at any key user location and are dedicated to customers, which means that when the number of customers increases, at the sametime the amount of Robots will increase. To make the AAM system ideal for the company to use, it was integrated with Fujitsu Servicesâ centralised monitoring system, BMC PATROL Enterprise Manager (PEM). That was actually the reason for deciding to drop the EnView Monitor element. After the system was fully implemented, the AAM system was ready for production. Transactions were (and are) written and deployed on Robots to simulate typical end user actions. These transactions are configured to run with certain intervals, which are defined collectively with customers. While they are driven against customersâ applicationsautomatically, transactions collect availability data and response time data all the time. In case of a failure in transactions, the robot immediately quits the transactionand writes detailed information to a log file about what went wrong and which element failed while going through an application. Then an alert is generated by a BMC PATROL Agent based on this data and is sent to the BMC PEM. Fujitsu Servicesâ monitoring room receives the alert, reacts to it according to the incident management process in ITIL and by alerting system specialists on critical incidents to resolve problems. As a result of the data gathered by the Robots, weekly reports, which contain detailed statistics and trend analyses of ongoing quality of IT services, is provided for the Customers.

Detta examensarbete redovisar en fÃrstudie som genomfÃrts med mÃ¥let att belysa nuvarande hantering av tjälrestriktioner inom Vägverket, utforma ett fÃrslag till en verksgemensam metodbeskrivning och fÃreslÃ¥ en fortsatt verksamhet inom omrÃ¥det fÃr att komma tillrätta med identifierade problem och utvecklingsbehov. Syftet har varit att med denna verksamhet som grund belysa vilka krav som bÃr ställas pÃ¥ en e-infrastruktur som ska stÃdja verksamhetsprocesser inom transportomrÃ¥det.Arbetet har genomfÃrts genom intervjuer med ansvariga fÃr verksamheten vid Vägverkets regioner och vid Vägverkets huvudkontor. IT-frÃ¥gor har diskuterats med fÃrvaltare av olika system och med ansvariga fÃr utvecklingsprojekt i anslutning till omrÃ¥det. Under arbetet har ett antal dokument insamlats och studerats. Analys av verksamheten har skett med stÃd av metoden FÃrändringsanalys enligt FA/SIMM, främst verksamhets-, problem-, mÃ¥l- och styrkeanalys. Resultatet av arbetet utgÃrs av ett fÃrslag till metodbeskrivning med motiveringar. Ett dilemma i metodutvecklingen har varit problemet att skapa en metod som är bÃ¥de juridiskt korrekt och praktiskt hanterbar. Det finns ett behov av att se Ãver regelverket kring hanteringen av fÃreskrifter fÃr att skapa ett regelverk som fungerar i verkligheten.Hanteringen av tjälrestriktioner är mobil till sin karaktär, vilket gäller i all verksamhet inom transportomrÃ¥det. En annan viktig aspekt är interorganisatoriskt samarbete och datautbyte, vilket ställer krav pÃ¥ standardiserade IT-lÃsningar och kommunikation. Att fÃ¥ verksamheter inom transportomrÃ¥det att flyta pÃ¥ som fungerande helheter med interorganisatoriska samarbeten, krav pÃ¥ (mobil) realtidskommunikation och heterogena system inom och utanfÃr de organisatoriska gränserna är en verklig utmaning fÃr framtiden.

The purpose of this thesis is to present and describe which criteria, according to the systemfamily Configuration Management, should be met when developing a CM-tool to handlemigration data.ACT is a tool developed by Microsoft to gather information about, analyze, test and mitigateapplications in a network when migrating the IT-infrastructure of an organization to a newoperating system. The organization that is being studied wants to present the data about theanalyzed applications in such a way, that a customer can choose what to mitigate and migrate.The goal is therefore to develop a prototype (CM-tool) that will present this data.The study has shown that ACT lacks certain requirements stated by the organization when itcomes to presentation. But when it comes to the rest of the functions, ACT performs as expected.The investigation resulted in specifications and technical solution for the new CM-tool. CMcriteriafor migration data was put forth and parts of the prototype were also developed.

At the beginning of 2003 the four year long research project REBUS on education, research, development and demonstration of competitive solar combisystems was launched. Research groups in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Latvia are working together with partners from industry on innovative solutions for solar heating in the Nordic countries. Existing system concepts have been analyzed and based on the results new system designs have been developed. The proposed solutions have to fulfill country specific technical, sociological and cost requirements. Due to the similar demands on the systems in Denmark and Sweden it has been decided to develop a common system concept for both countries, which increases the market potential for the manufacturer. The focus of the development is on systems for the large number of rather well insulated existing single family houses. In close collaboration with the industrial partners a system concept has been developed that is characterized by its high compactness and flexibility. It allows the use of different types of boilers, heating distribution systems and a variable store and collector size. Two prototypes have been built, one for the Danish market with a gas boiler, and one for the Swedish market with a pellet boiler as auxiliary heater. After intensive testing and eventual further improvements at least two systems will be installed and monitored in demonstration houses. The systems have been modeled in TRNSYS and the simulation results will be used to further improve the system and evaluate the system performance.

In recent years the number of bicycles with e-motors has been increased steadily. Within the pedelec â bikes where an e-motor supports the pedaling â a special group of transportation bikes has developed. These bikes have storage boxes in addition to the basic parts of a bike. Due to the space available on top of those boxes it is possible to install a PV system to generate electricity which could be used to recharge the battery of the pedelec. Such a system would lead to grid independent charging of the battery and to the possibility of an increased range of motor support. The feasibility of such a PV system is investigated for a three wheeled pedelec delivered by the company BABBOE NORDIC.The measured data of the electricity generation of this mobile system is compared to the possible electricity generation of a stationary system.To measure the consumption of the pedelec different tracks are covered, and the energy which is necessary to recharge the bike battery is measured using an energy logger. This recharge energy is used as an indirect measure of the electricity consumption. A PV prototype system is installed on the bike. It is a simple PV stand alone system consisting of PV panel, charge controller with MPP tracker and a solar battery. This system has the task to generate as much electricity as possible. The produced PV current and voltage aremeasured and documented using a data logger. Afterwards the average PV power is calculated. To compare the produced electricity of the on-bike system to that of a stationary system, the irradiance on the latter is measured simultaneously. Due to partial shadings on the on-bike PV panel, which are caused by the driver and some other bike parts, the average power output during riding the bike is very low. It is too low to support the motor directly. In case of a similar installation as the PV prototype system and the intention always to park the bike on a sunny spot an on-bike system could generate electricity to at least partly recharge a bike battery during one day. The stationary PV system using the same PV panel could have produced between 1.25 and 8.1 times as much as the on-bike PV system. Even though the investigation is done for a very specific case it can be concluded that anon-bike PV system, using similar components as in the investigation, is not feasible to recharge the battery of a pedelec in an appropriate manner. The biggest barrier is that partial shadings on the PV panel, which can be hardly avoided during operation and parking, result in a significant reduction of generated electricity. Also the installation of the on-bike PV system would lead to increased weight of the whole bike and the need for space which is reducing the storage capacity. To use solar energy for recharging a bike battery an indirect way is giving better results. In this case a stationary PV stand alone system is used which is located in a sunny spot without shadings and adjusted to use the maximum available solar energy. The battery of the bike is charged using the corresponding charger and an inverter which provides AC power using the captured solar energy.

Projektet omfattade undersÃkning och framtagande av ett solcellssystem med fÃrmÃ¥ga att fÃrsÃrja ett FTX-system i ett flerbostadshus frÃ¥n miljonprogrammet med el. FÃr att kunna bedÃma storlek och utformning av komponenter har information tagits genom: InformationssÃkning via databaser, kurslitteratur och intervjuer Simuleringar av solceller i datorprogrammet PVSYST Modulering av ventilationskanaler i datorprogrammet MagiCAD Syftet var främst att undersÃka om det gick att fÃ¥ fram ett teoretiskt fungerande system med avseende pÃ¥ bÃ¥de solceller och ventilation. Beroende pÃ¥ vad resultatet blev skulle även ekonomin i projektet undersÃkas. UndersÃkningen visade att det teoretiskt ska gÃ¥ att installera solceller fÃr elframställning som klarar av att täcka FTX-systemets elbehov pÃ¥ Ã¥rsbasis. Solcellerna bedÃms även producera tillräckligt med el fÃr viss Ãvrig elkrävande utrustning under stora delar av Ã¥ret. Det visade sig även att det skulle gÃ¥ att fÃ¥ solcellerna ekonomiskt lÃnsamma om en kalkyltid pÃ¥ 14 Ã¥r används. Metoden som använts fÃr dessa resultat är noga beskriven och är med smÃ¥ fÃrändringar tillämpbar fÃr ett stort antal byggnader i det svenska byggnadsbestÃ¥ndet. En viktig slutsats är att om fastighetsägarna kan se 15 Ã¥r fram i tiden fÃr en investering i solenergi, skulle det innebära inte bara miljÃmässiga utan även ekonomiska vinster. Det finns redan idag kunnande, teknik och produkter fÃr att utvinna en stor del av fastigheternas elbehov genom solens energi.

In this paper, dynamic simulation was used to compare the energy performance of three innovativeHVAC systems: (A) mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) and micro heat pump, (B) exhaustventilation with exhaust air-to-water heat pump and ventilation radiators, and (C) exhaust ventilationwith air-to-water heat pump and ventilation radiators, to a reference system: (D) exhaust ventilation withair-to-water heat pump and panel radiators. System A was modelled in MATLAB Simulink and systems Band C in TRNSYS 17. The reference system was modelled in both tools, for comparison between the two.All systems were tested with a model of a renovated single family house for varying U-values, climates,infiltration and ventilation rates.It was found that A was the best system for lower heating demand, while for higher heating demandsystem B would be preferable. System C was better than the reference system, but not as good as A or B.The difference in energy consumption of the reference system was less than 2 kWh/(m2a) betweenSimulink and TRNSYS. This could be explained by the different ways of handling solar gains, but also bythe fact that the TRNSYS systems supplied slightly more than the ideal heating demand.
