She begins the letter with a recount of her weekend away in the country. She mentions a few friends and her outings over the weekend. Enclosed is clipping titled "'Snap it up': Soldiers' Comedy: Coming to Broad". This letter is labelled number 291.

Eleanore Celeste mentions that she may soon receive letters from Arthur since her friend received some after twelve days apart. She mentions some friends and gives updates about them. She is also planning on doing Red Cross work that evening. This letter is labelled number 9.

Arthur has received a new "assignment as adjutant". Eleanore Celeste had a visit with Mother Schmon. The letter is labelled number 97.
