This is a dark grey, coarse grained sediment with inclusions of fine grained sand. Lineations and grains stacking are the most common features seen, along with grain crushing (mainly edge-to-edge). A few minor rotation structures can also be observed with comet structures.

Dark greyish-brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to large in size. Clasts are sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. Fine grained domains can be seen scattered throughout the sample. The sample also contains comet structures, lineations, and minor amounts of rotation structures within the coarser domain.

Brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to medium in size. The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. Grain crushing is abundant throughout the sample, and mainly involves medium sized clasts. Lineations can also be seen. A finer, and darker brown domain is also present within the sample.

Light brown, coarse grained sample with grains ranging from small to medium in size. The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. Edge-to-edge grain crushing is present in large amounts throughout the sample. Lineations can also be seen throughout the sample.

Light brown sample with clasts ranging from small to large. The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. Grain crushing is common in this sample and mainly involves the larger clasts. Many grains are also crushed into one another. The larger grains are also fractured. Lineations and faint water escape structures can also be seen. This sample also contains a finer grained domain, darker in colour.

Minor amounts of grain crushing/stacking can also be seen. A few rotation structures are also present throughout the sample.

Coarse grained, light brown sample with clasts ranging from small to medium in size. The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. Lineations were abundant throughout the sample. A few comet structures were also found.

Coarse grained sample with grains ranging from small to large in size. Clast shape ranges from sub-angular to well rounded. Edge-to-edge grain crushing is abundant throughout this sample. Minor amounts of rotation structures and lineations can also be seen.

Coarse grained sediment with clasts ranging from small to medium in size. Clast shape ranges from angular to rounded. Rotation structures can commonly be seen throughout this sample. Edge-to-edge grain crushing with a few lineations can also be seen throughout the sample.

Light brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to medium in size. The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. Rotation structures can commonly be seen, along with some comet structures as well. A few lineations and edge-to-edge grain crushing can also be observed. There is also the inclusion of a fine grained domain that is a darker brown (tanned-brown).

PBURWELL #1-87

This sample contains two main domains. One is a light brown sediment domain with mainly small clasts which are clustered together. Only a few larger clasts can be seen in this domain. The other one is dark brown with well dispersed clasts. The light brown domain contains clasts that range from sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. Lineations can be commonly seen in this domain. Grain crushing is also common with minor amounts of rotation. In the dark brown domain, clasts range from small to medium in size. They range from sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. A few lineations and rotation structures can be seen in this domain.

PBURWELL #4-87

Brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to medium in size. Clast shape ranges from sub-angular to rounded. Two mains domains can be observed; one mainly contains small clasts, and the other is a mix of small and medium sized clasts. The finer grained domain contains some organic material and is abundant in lineations. The coarser domain is also abundant in lineations but also contains crushed grains and comet structures.
