The bottle is mentioned in the letter because it is said to have been made during the last year's Annual Celebrity Icewine event. The names mentioned from the event are Steven Page of the music group Barenaked Ladies and Jim Cuddy of the group Blue Rodeo. The letter also includes a handwritten response from Znaimer thanking Ziraldo for the wine and mentions the Idea City Conference where Ziraldo will be speaking.

William Dickson (1799-1877) was the son of the prominent Niagara businessman and politician William Dickson (1769-1846). William was educated in Edinburgh, Scotland, and settled in Galt, Ontario, upon his return to Canada. His father had business affairs in Dumfries and Galt, which he left in his sons charge when he retired to Niagara in 1837. William had an older brother, Robert, and younger brother, Walter, both of whom served in the Militia and became involved in politics.

Brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to large in size. Clast shape ranges from angular to sub-rounded. Rotation structures are common in this sample, especially around larger clasts. Lineations and grain crushing is also present within this sample. A few comet structures can also be seen.

Samuel DeVeaux was married twice. He married Maria Woodruff, and after her death in 1815, he married her widowed sister, Sarah Woodruff, 1962.

The land consists of ½ an acre located in Lot no. 96 in the Town of Niagara – instrument no. 8600. This was recorded on May 4th, 1832 in Book N, folio 276- 277 in the registry of Lincoln and Haldimand Counties, Oct. 13, 1824.
