A letter from The Ontario Paper Co., Limited of Thorold, Ontario. The letter, dated 15 August 1949, celebrates the Thirtieth Anniversary of association between Arthur A. Schmon and the paper company. The letter praises the work of Mr. Schmon, "a leader of progressive thinking and action, a man with a true sense of values, sound judgement and a deep sense of justice". There are ten signatures at the bottom of the letter.

Article - "Tribune Article Wins Aviation Writing Prize", 1958

An article in The Evening Tribune that discusses a second place win in an aviation writing competition. She had also won previously in 1953. The article states that the "newest award comes on the heels of the granting of an airline transport licence to Mrs. Rungeling." Dorothy Rungeling has written a small note next to the article that reads: "Getting an Airline transport Licence was my proudest achievement. I was number 1 woman in Canada."

In this letter, Samuel talks about the fact that everyone is fed up and they want to go somewhere, preferably France, but he thinks that they will stay where they are all winter. He says that he is "absolutely fed up with the army". The letter is signed "Loving Cuz, Sam".

Samuel writes about getting a letter from Barrie and he talks about old friends and family. He mentions that he has seen "Dad Palling" [father of his fiance]. It is signed "Your loving cousin, Sam D. Woodruff".

Letter regarding William Woodruff's estate. This consists of one typed page. It is not made out to anyone, nor is it signed by anyone. The intended recipients are: S.D. Woodruff, H.K. Woodruff, Messrs. A. Woodruff and H. Yale, William Woodruff M.D., Henry Woodruff and Mrs. Helena A. Boomer. The letter is slightly torn and fragile.
